Wow, I hate being the first person to give a less than 4-star review. Oh well.
I went in with a flip-flop induced pain in my left foot for a Reflexology massage. I found the massage to be more painful than relaxing and when I left my foot still hurt.
It was a very nice facility and Buster was very cute.
Imagine your body, mind, and spirit, strung out, racing about town, thought after thought, racing mind, trafffic, co-workers, relationships, demands... all of this burning up your body with the heat of a thousand suns.
Now, picture that wreckage of a self,
bounding weightlessly through a gentle metaphorical shower of total mind/body and Spirit Elixir.
A complete tour of total wellness, all by the most lovely person you could possibly manifest.
There now.... walk...nay.......run......to the phone, call Nourhy, plan on a once-a-week, once-every-other-week, session to rejuvenate thyself.
Your body will thank you, and everyone who has to deal with your crunchy stressed out arse will thank you as well.
Anyway, that's how I feel about Nourhy, and as a body worker, and acupuncturist, and yoga instructor, I am quite picky. She's the total package, and then some.

I have had the opportunity to travel the country to receive massages. Nourhy has the best technique I've seen. Don't tell my Uncle! He is a massage therapist, too. She soothes your spirit and makes your muscles melt. It is a great experience - and this is coming from someone very particular and informed on massage.

I am never getting another massage from anyone BUT Nourhy! She is the only person who has actually massaged out this chronic shoulder/neck pain i've had for years. Others temporarily helped the problem for about a few days, but since getting my massage over a month ago, I"m still feeling great! She is very accommodating, sincere and definitely knows what she is doing. She used various techniques on me, including cupping, which I never have had done to me before, but it felt great! I cannot stop raving about her to all my friends that I decided I needed to tell all of yelp. Friends from out-of-town have already decided a trip to Nourhy is a must when they visit me next, just from what I have told them. Thank you, Nourhy!!!

After reading all the kudos from the yelpers out there, I thought I would treat myself to a little rubdown from Nourhy to help with the winter blues. I'm definitely spoiled; one of my many job perks has been to get massages all over the world, and I've had some really good ones. But none compare to Nourhy's magical healing hands. Between her calming energy, her obvious knowledge, and her strength, I left feeling like a different person. And the bonus? I got in some quality time with her adorable dog Buster, who put the icing on the cake of my day. Thanks Nourhy! I'll definitely be back.

Really unexpected pleasure. Yes, I did go for a massage. I left feeling de-stressed and energized. (No... there's no happy ending) Nourhy has a great little studio that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed even while you're waiting for your turn. She's amazing. I have to admit that I was expecting just a massage. I got reflexology and energy work with some massage. It was an all in 1 deal.

Nourhy was one of the first people I met when I moved to Chicago. I walked into her studio vibrating w/ stress from a cross-country move, new job, not knowing anyone in the city, the whole nine. I'm sure I was speakin in tongues and makin no kinda sense. Her energy (yes! energy! I'm from San Francisco, I believe!) is calming, warm, and well-balanced. She put me at ease immediately with her easy-going personality and fantastic reflexology skills. And I agree 100% with the reviews describing her finely tuned sixth sense; it's like talking to an old friend. Or, you know, God.

Nourhy is the best reliever of stress! She has the best energy and is so well balanced and gives off the best energies. Every moment there was great, from when I walked into the relaxing waiting rooom to my reflexology, she is great and so is what she does!

WONDERFUL! If I had to describe this in 1 word - but good thing I don't have to, because there are so many good things I have to say about Nourhy!
I took my boyfriend last weekend for a massage for the very first time. It was a complete surprise for him! Nourhy was such a wonderful person and I really believe in the energies that people pass on to you. She has so much positive energy that you just instantly feel calm and relaxed. Even though I wasn't the one getting the massage, I felt it.
But the actual massage was even better, as my boyfriend tells me. He said she knew exactly which points of stress to tackle and was very patient and gentle. He felt like totally a new person and so calm all evening!
Nourhy also gives some healthy advice on diet, de-stressing and drinking water! She is very genuine and really believes in her work, which is why my bf and I both were glad we found her!

I got my mom a Reflexology massage as an early birthday present and I am beyond glad that I made that decision. Nourhy is such a wonderful, understanding and patient person. She was nothing but wonderful to my mother, my sister( who I brought along) and myself. She really did help my mother a lot...she came out of that massage much more relaxed, happy and open-minded. The waiting room was so cool and well decorated that we couldn't help but feel relaxed. My mother told me that the massage was wonderful and she's going back(my mother is a very honest woman). She absolutely loves Nourhy (as do my sister and I) and are so grateful that we met such a genuinely great person.
Believe me...go to Nourhy to get a massage as my mother swears that she has magic hands. It's been a little over a month and my mom is still thanking me for the massage.

Last year I experienced severe symptoms of neuropathy; it was quite debilitating and I didn't know what to do. I was thankfully guided to Nourhy for reflexology treatments, and she has simply been a Godsend!!! She has helped me through one of the most stressful times in my life, applying her effective therapeutic healing techniques, coupled with her highly intuitive talents to render significant results.
Nourhy is a generous healer who goes above and beyond the "call of duty". I trust and rely on her prefessional advice (not an easy thing for me). Buster (her dog) is a bonus!!! I highly recommend her services!

I wasn't able to reach Nourhy immediately and wound up going elsewhere for my massage. Nourhy called me back, and after explaining what had happened, she gave me a ton of fantastic advice to help next time my back seized and advice on how to keep it from seizing in the first place.
She really went over and above, and I'm not officially a client yet. I will definitely be seeing her in the future!

I was randomly looking up stuff on yelp n found Nourhy,thought i should give her a try since i have been so stressed out.Walked into a lovely quaint lttle place & met an even lovelier person! Had a lovely time talking to her & the massage was so relaxing! The big blabbermouth that i am,i kept talking to her about why i was stressed out ,blah blah blah& she patiently listened & counselled me.Loved her for that! It was almost like meeting an old friend after ages! The massage definitely took the tension off my feet & shoulders ,though she said that i need to go back since i was too stressed for her to release the whole tension in one session.Looking forward to seeing her again!Nourhy is a wonderful person with amazing skills & i would recommend her to all the people out there!

I can't say enough good things about the quality of my experience at Nourhy's. As a guy with absolutely zero massages on the books after 30 years, I was worried about finding a place where I'd feel comfortable enough to actually get something out of the time spent on the table.
Everything about Nourhy's, from the setting to her attitude to her approach to working on you, seems designed to make you as comfortable as possible. The personal attention and lack of anyone competing for it is a big plus, as are her rates, availability and genuine interest in what you're looking to get out of the process.

The studio had a very welcoming, homey atmosphere where one can allow themselves to feel at ease in Nourhy's care. Nourhy has a calming energy and is a resourceful person. My family's session was soothing, informational, and very grounding. My daughters loved Nourhy's jewelry and Buster, which about a month later motivated us to purchase our own pup, Bella (picture shown.) We left in a calming tone for the drive home in the 'burbs. We also purchased lavender sleep pillows from the studio, and we're definitely exploring the natural world more for peaceful solutions rather than the fast, quick fix world of tech and meds. Definitely recommend Nourhy for her enlightening spirit, time, and ease of words and comfort.

Nourhy is absolutely amazing! She can work wonders with just one appointment. I had a CranioSacral session and it was great. I left feeling so much better! She is really intuitive and can tell you a lot of really good things to help talk better care and her advice about stuff is great. The environment is fantastic & she has a great personality. Yeah for Nourhy! She has a delicious little studio in Bucktown. Her expert hands will leave you feeling refreshed and your toes tingling with glee. My body was all sorts of tight when I went to see Nourhy. In 90 minutes she released all the tension gathered throughout my body from my head to my toes. You'll be amazed how she learns information about your health just by looking at your feet. Her gentle, intuitive approach will guide you to a more relaxed mental/ emotional/ physical state. I will absolutely go back to Nourhy as often as I can. You have to try one of the herbal dream pillows. They smell divine.

Recently I went to Nourhy for a massage and am so happy to have found her. She has a very healing personality and has strong , wonderful hands. My back feels SO much better! I left her place feeling very relaxed but also energised and joyful with a sense of overall balance. Her place is like a little gem with attention to details and comfort and nice low-lighting. I'm definitely going back for a 90 minute soon. Oh, I work in a super posh spa as a therapist and have had lots of massages for what that's worth. Nourhy and her studio are one of life's little necessities...an oasis of calm in the city and in your day.

This city is amazing but let's face it, it can be rough at times. This city can wear on you. Your mind, your body and your spirit. But sometimes you have to check in with yourself and take a deep breath. And allow someone professional to help you sort yourself. Nourhy, at NOW Studio, is just the being to help you get back in check. She remindes you to breathe and let go. It's not just an amazing massage. I really enjoyed my reflexology experience. Nourhy is truly gifted and knows what she is talking about and she also takes the time to understand you and cater to your individual needs. The studio is very comforting and very well decorated so it is a very soothing environment and very clean also not as stale as a bigger place might be. She has a lot of experience and it shows, she is well worth the price which is reasonable anyway already.

I am not a newbie, nor am I trying to compete with the prices of a Massage school. In fact my prices are very reasonable for the amount of energy I put into my services. I have many degrees and am currently studying to obtain my PhD.D in Holistic Health.
I started doing this work because I myself was hit by a drunk driver over 13 years ago and I studied with top healers and bodyworkers to learn and teach some of the many simple things that helped me heal without surgery, granted it was a long haul and I still work at being healthy, this is something that I have a passion for and if I do only one thing that helps you then at least I have done something.
I can not nor do I say that I can cure you but I can show or tell you steps to take, but the rest is totally up to you. Nothing is easy but if you are open and willing to make a few simple changes, you can also help yourself with better health. Seriously, I want people to be happy and I am not about taking advantage of anyone, I just want to do good work and I am very lucky to be doing something I love and you get the benefits of that energy.

Nourhy is wonderful! She genuinely cares about your health and well being. A friend introduced me to Nourhy and her studio. I was hooked the minute I stepped into the welcoming garden studio. Nourhy does wonders every time I see her. I've been seeing Nourhy as her client for well over a year, and I keep going back. The reflexology and massage are a great way for me to relax & realign. She is always able to fit me in on short notice, and I love her workspace. It is inviting and well-decorated and she does everything she can to make me feel at home and welcome in her space. Reflexology with Nourhy is amazing! She has the knowledge and energy that cannot be explained, it has to be experienced. Her hands are strong and intuitive, they released blockage and my circulation obviously increased. I was extremely relaxed and felt more rested than a full night of sleep. The charming and peaceful garden unit space is so comfortable and homey - this is a real Bucktown gem!

My cousin introduced me to Nourhy last year with a massage as a Christmas gift in 2005, and I am incredibly pleased with all of the services I have enjoyed there. First of all, her studio is wonderful, and she makes her patrons feel right at home. Her adorable dog kept me company while I waited for a girlfriend to finish enjoying her massage. The setting is a welcome change from the typical awkward spa experience that I've come to dread. Her studio is great, and it feels as if I'm visiting a friend at their apartment, rather than bundling myself up in a bathrobe and sitting in a waiting room trying to avoid eye contact with with other women, as in most salons. I have been to see Nourhy several times, both for basic massage and craniosacral work. She not only treats the body, but is extremely intruitive, a skill that lends itself very well to the experience. Additionally, her prices are completely reasonable, and her hours are very flexible. All of my visits have been heavenly, and I plan to continue seeing Nourhy as often as I can find the time! If you're wondering where you can recieve amazing services from an incredible person, look no further. Go. Call. It will be the best experience you've ever had.

Now Massage Studio is a magical place - cozy, private and personal. Nourhy has thought of everything to make your experience wonderful. I have been there several times for reflexology treatments, and find the environment soothing and tranquil. Nourhy is professional and knowledgeable, and she instantly puts you at ease. I recently visited Kohler with some friends and find that I much prefer the no-glitz, nurturing environment that Nourhy creates. You will, too.

Ppreparing for a hiking trip in New England I love the fall colors and Noury is helping me prepare with her wonderful foot massages I look forward to my trip and even if i didnt go I would loook fforward to my week of travel Now studio is around the corner and Noury is the way for me to do more of the things I like to do.
