WONDERFUL! My husband and I read the magazine for the great stories and we LOVE the GREAT events page that is in the back of every magazine. We just love them!

Dog owners have got to check out City Dog Magazine. It's a 'what's what' guide to owning a dog in the city, specifically, the dog-friendly cities of the PNW. Plus City Dog features all the great adventures you can find outside the city; in the mountains, beaches, small towns - cool stuff to do on the weekends with your dog. Don't let the name fool you --- City Dog is definitely not the NY/LA glam mag for dogs --- it's 100% Go, 0% Show. They do this cool section each issue where they highlight the pets of local celebrities; top chefs, authors, musicians, athletes --- and it's really about the dogs, not so much the person. Helpful sections like a calendar of local dog events, a directory of businesses for just about anything you could need, book reviews...And at only $15 for a subscription it's definitely worth the coin.

I LOVE this magazine! I read it cover to cover the day it arrives in the mail. I have gifted family members with subscriptions. In every single issue, there are practical as well as entertaining articles and features. My two dogs have highly benefited from all I have learned and the quality advertisers' wares. At every charity or fund raising event for dogs, CityDog has a booth or presence donating magazines and even the chance to have your own dog's photo on the cover. CityDog Magazine is published with heart and integrity.

City Dog magazine is just what you would expect of a Northwest publication dedicated to Seattle's favorite pasttime- 'living with the dog'. It is professional and well-organized and clearly has passion, dedication and research going into each issue. It is not a floppy newsprint rag, but a high-quality, full-length glossy publication, a super lifestyle magazine for those who adore their canines.
As a dog owner myself, and current professional pet photographer/dog artist and former dog walker and petsitter (ok I'm fanatical about dogs!), I pour through each issue I pick up at stores. I dog ear the pages and keep copies next to my computer to look up products and stores I see in the magazine. My only complaint is that I wish each issue were longer- like hundreds of pages, lol! We are so lucky we get to have such an awesome magazine devoted to our beautiful city and our fabulous dogs. Thank you City Dog!
CityDog magazine is what a dog magazine SHOULD BE. As a writer/photographer I contribute to magazine-- which I suppose makes me a bit biased, but every issue just gets better and better! The difference between CityDog and other pet mags is that CityDog is a lifestyle magazine: Editorials cover all kinds of topics that I actually WANT to read about- Places to go, things to buy, trips to take etc. I don't even take time to read the back of my cereal box, but I read every issue of CityDog cover to cover- I have heard a lot of other readers say the same. CityDog consistently lives up to their tag line: "Celebrating Life and Living with Dog in the West" - In addition to the publication itself, CityDog is creating a whole network of dog owners in the Northwest through their "CityDog Social Club" events- ranging from posh dog-friendly cocktail parties at fancy hotels to the "CityDog Cover Dog Model Search" to benefit local charities- You will never see a celebrity on the cover of THIS magazine because that's not what it's about- What it IS about is being real, being useful, being fun and being reallllly pretty in the process!
