The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

Beautiful restaurant, service was amazing! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The lobster tail took me by surprise, I was not expecting a lobster tail to melt in my mouth, I ended up ordering another, same results. It was seasoned to protection. I am going back for more soon. I cross the border all the time this will be my stop every time. Oh yea I forgot to mention the bread was delicious as well. The steak was not mine but my guest stated that it was melt in your mouth delicious also.

Best service! And amazing amazing food! Im from Michigan and came down to ceasers to stay the weekend someone recommended here and i can definitely say it was worth it!!

Good food for a vegetarian, large servings and flavourful and delicious. A few good vegetarian options, considering it is a steakhouse. Leftovers for 2-3 meals.

Take out is packed and ready for Curbside -pickup on time as scheduled when you order online. Sturdy containers that kept the food warm until
I got home to unpack and serve with family.

Curbside was easy, and delivery right to the back door of the car with easy curbside payment.

Always an excellent experience here with steaks prepared to perfection and an awesome USD conversion rate making it very affordable!

Friendly service, good food and relaxing atmosphere. Close to work locations it's dangerous, because I might stay longer than I supposed to.

Food at The Keg is always good and the whole experience can be made or broken by the service. Our server was fantastic and helped make a birthday dinner all the more special.
I loved their Pecan Sirloin, but it was unfortunately removed from their menu a while back. Imagine our surprise at seeing it back on a special menu. For those not familiar with the dish, its a perfectly cooked steak topped with goat cheese and pecans, with a wine reduction served on the side. It is fantastic. 2 of our group of 4 ordered this, myself included.
Another person ordered the salmon, her go to dish here as she doesn't eat red meat. It was a good size and she ate every morsel.
Person 4 ordered a Keg Sirloin..he loved it.
All 4 of us were very happy.
As we were there celebrating 2 birthdays, Renee brought out 2 pieces of their mocha ice cream cake. It wasn't expected and despite our insistances that we couldn't possibly eat both pieces, they somehow managed to disappear in a few minutes.

The Keg is a nice restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere are good, but I feel like for that price point, you can get a better value at other places.

I did enjoy the crab legs entree, which was $50! And my keg sized Caesars were $12 a pop! Two drinks each and $60 (tax and tip) was on drinks alone!! Ridiculous! My husband had a special, which was a coffee rubbed steak and that was very good, I believe it was about $30. Bringing our bill to a whopping $140 plus tip!!!! I wont be going back to the keg for a long time. I noticed a lot of couples were sharing a bottle of wine and two appetizers, and now I understand why.

My biggest problem is that this place is only open for dinner. Having little ones makes us go out for more lunches or very early meals rather than late dinners. Even though the kids were tolerated, I didn't feel like it was the right environment for them.

I ordered a steak - medium - and it came out well done. Fifteen minutes later, they brought out a rare steak. They threw that same rare steak back on the grill and it was finally medium. But they charred the outside to get it that way. A long and uneventful night.
So sorry to order steak from a steak house.

They took it off my bill and my table got free dessert.

Still, I can cook a better steak than what I ate. It wasn't even tender.

The staff was very nice, however.

Very chill place to have a dinner with friends or a nice date. No wait, fast service. Food is hot and fresh.

Best Birthday Dinner Evvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

In my typical list of Pros and Cons please allow me to tell you why:

1. Super friendly staff (Shawn our waiter was cool)
2. Awesome Hostess or Front of House Manager
3. Perfect atmosphere (dimly lite, but still posh, romantic and cozy)
4. Good selection on menu
5. Perfectly prepared food (spices, temperature etc...)
6. Good portion sizes
7. That Ice Cream Cake was so freaking AWESOME! Large but airy, ideal ratio of almonds, drizzle sauces and Oreo Crumbs...perfect way to top off my heavy meal... I was full already but I MADE room in my tummy for this masterpiece dessert. Big enough to share, but my loving husband bowed out after a few bites. Hahaha ! I felt compelled to complete by myself. I Did IT! Oh yeah!
8. Very organized, slightly busy for a Friday night, but wait area was not overflowing. They honored our reservation and we were sat immediately!
9. Easy parking...convenient location.
10... The mystery hostess with the mostess... her hospitality should be bottled up and marketed to other high brow establishments! She was a winner! ( see details below #3). Game changer!
11. Loved I could make reservations online. Super simple.

Cons (kind of):
1. A little pricey but they make up for that with portion sizes. It's a steakhouse...what do you expect.
2. Asiago rice was bland, but allowed the entree to shine

3. This is my error! - I didnot get the name of Fantastic lady ( pretty & generous host manager with glasses) who went out of her to make us repeat customers! She was so warm, sweet and eager to make sure our experience was extraordinary! I wish I could hug her. She chatted with us, but didn't linger... she gave us an complimentary appetizer & dessert! Woohoo!
She was the best and she made the evening perfect for us! Perfecto!

For the above reasons plus a few more....it was Best Birthday Dinner EVER! BRAVO!
