Needed my truck wheels aligned and balanced. Took it in after making an appointment and it they had it done in 2 hours. The wheel alignment was about $50 more than I am used to paying. The balance was pretty spot on for what I normally pay. The front guy Josh was super nice. Overall good experience and my truck rides soooooo much better now.

I had a very good experience here. I was visiting out of town and needed an oil change. I went into the store where I was promptly greeted by Josh who expeditiously brought my car in and had my car serviced quickly. He was super nice and treated me with a lot of respect. Wasn't overly optimistic about I was pleasantly surprised!

My muffler was rattling and so loud so I took my car to Meineke. I knew nothing about cars and was very anxious about what would need to be done. The room my car in and about ten minutes later the man working the desk called me into the garage. He explained to me that I definitely needed a new muffler, which would cost $499. He then continued to tell me that the bolt, which connected the muffler to the pipe going to the catalytic converter, was so rusted that they might not be able to get it off. If they had to weld it, I would also need to replace the pipe. The whole job would cost $1,000. I was beside myself but what option did I have? Thankfully, friends and family suggest I get a second opinion. I called another shop and told them what I thought might need to be done (based on what Meineke had told me). They told me the entire job, muffler and pipe, would cost only $600. I was slightly relieved, but I had another appointment at a third shop, a custom exhaust place, and decided to see what he thought was wrong. I thought it might be even more expensive than Meineke because it was custom! He looked at my car, and told me that there was nothing wrong with my muffler or the bolt. It was simply just the hinge that holds the pipe up to the underside of the car. The fix ended up costing me only $60. I am relieved that my car is in better condition, but am highly disappointed that Meineke took advantage of the fact that I clearly knew nothing about cars.

A scam and I do not recommend. Charged $431 to change the oil and flush the radiator. Really? even with synthetic oil, that's outrageous. I couldn't believe it so I called Meineke in Stoughton to see what they would charge---same car, same work, same specs. They said, $79 for oil and $100 for radiator flush (plus tax). I complained to the manager and said I wouldn't sign the receipt he withheld my keys. EVEN AFTER I PAID. Forced to sign the damn form to get my car back.

If there's one thing I hate, it's getting an oil change. I had the day off so I thought I would take care of all my car related things (safety inspection and oil change). Safety inspection was at another garage and it was quick and painless. The oil change at this Meineke was a totally different experience. The mechanic was super pushy when it came to sales. Every few minutes he would say that I desperately needed to get this changed or that fixed. I told him I would be taking my car to my mechanic but he insisted on pushing all these things on me. After I said no he had an attitude towards me. The oil change also took an exuberant amount of time, which wasn't ideal since it was so awkward sitting there with the condescending mechanic.
If I didn't have a coupon I wouldn't have come here and now I'm thinking the good deal wasn't worth the headache.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Worst service I've ever had.
$950 for new exhaust that leaked. They tried to cover up the leak with "muffler meld".
2 more visits to fix the leak with the worst welding I've ever seen. I'm a local contractor that will take my trucks elsewhere from now on. Do not waste your time or money going to this dishonest and over priced shop.

Had an Exhaust leak , sounded like the pipe broke . Brought it to these guys first thing in the morning. They diagnosed the problem, had me in and out in great time .

Been having brake issues with my 2011 Honda accord. I originally took it to Atamian Honda in Tewksbury who wasted half of my day just to diagnose the issue and then quote me an arm and a leg for replacing my rotors again (after Atamian had previously replaced them not even a year earlier).
After the disappointment and lack of trust in quality I experienced with Atamian Honda, I brought my car to Meineke in Lowell where Josh and his staff took great care of me. Got the same work done for less money, but the biggest value was having Josh actually walk me out to the car, once it was raised, to walk me through the issues he saw and his plan to address them. I did not feel he was pushing any service or repair onto me that wasn't in my best interest. I felt this was miles above the service Atamian Honda provided which does not connect you with the mechanic actually fixing the car (only has you talk to a front desk person) and does not provide you a visual overview of the issue at hand and the plan to fix it.
