Feel like getting drunk with funny peepz? This is def the spot! Kinda low-key place for those nights where u don't feel like drivin' all the way out to hollywood, waitin' forever to get a drink, or just not in the mood get all dressed up and put up with LA attitudes. (*remember Swingers)
This is the place you come to mingle with the local people around Rowland and the bartenders are certainly the best if ur into beefin' up ur skills on 5-10 (most popular chinese drinkin' game) or just need someone to be down to drink with you. The ppls and staff warms up to you easily as long as u have a drink in ur hand!!!
I was first introduced to the spot when my friends just needed a place to chill at after dinner... well luckily my friends knew this place even before it was a lounge bar (think it was U&Me) and just a $20/night all u can drink beer kinda place (kinda miss those spots too)
I really got hooked up and a bit buzzed cuz the regular ppl there are animals if you tried to drink at they're pace... reminds me alot of ppl i meet in Taipei!!!
Trust me... u'll have fun... just ask for the bartenders: Water (yea thatz his name... and u'll know why they call him that once u meet him) and Jonathan (fastest 5-10 skills i've seen around here)!!! -

Went in for a quick double of Casadores; now, I don't portray myself as some Tequila expert but I pride myself of differentiating quality apart. I mean, my travels and appetite has even led my to the city of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico... That being said, thanks for the tequila tasting water for $18. Seriously, it just couldn't be more blatant.

2 words. CULTURE SHOCK. being about the only white guy in the entire plaza, it was funny the looks I got in here. Service sucked and drinks were overpriced. Had a great time people watching though. Might go back again.

I came here for a couple of drinks with my friend after dinner last night and was sorely disappointed.
The Pros -
1. Nice seating area. Lots of tables, couches, and comfy looking chairs.
2. Chinese music (Brings out my inner FOB) and karaoke!
The Cons -
1. $10/drink.... no top-shelf stuff. I ordered a Crown and Coke and ended up with Seagrams 7... -_-
2. Dead empty.
While I do like the chill, loungy feeling of the place, there's no way in hell I'm paying $10 for a "well" drink. Travesty. -

OK, i do know that a friend of mine will give this place 5 stars because he knows everyone there...but me, not so nice....im sure you heard that in asia, they be makin fake alcohol like fake johnny walker, well, i have no proof but i believe this place sells fake shiet.

Tonight was the first night I'd been to Diamond Plaza in a long time, so I had no idea what to expect. We started out at Beer Station, then headed next door to 9PM after. I don't really know what to say except that the two places combined definitely brought out the FOB in me. I love listening to the karaoke at 9PM...some people are surprisingly talented, whereas others are pretty damn brave. The decor was nice for an Asian place - comfy couches, dim lighting, and...okay, not much else, but still. The drink menu is incomplete, though...we went up to the bartender to ask for suggestions, and everything he said was not on the menu. Figures. All in all, I like the place, and I think it's definitely worth the $10 per person minimum.

Nomatter what kind of day you've been having, This is the BEST place to chill at after a long day at work or school. Very friendly people as well as prompt service. I was introduced to this place by my friends and I havn't regretted going there yet. Lots of beautiful girls as well so there's never a dull moment. Definately a place to check out and just remember. I'm claiming all the girls first so don't you even think about it. LOLOLOLOL

Upon entering, the waitress sat us down at a dirty lounge and handed us menus. Slyly, she mentions the $20 minimum per person for lounge seating. Since my friend and I only wanted a quick drink to end the night, the waitress told us we could move to the bar where there was no minimum. Just as we were about to sit down on the 2 out of 4 empty bar chairs, the same waitress comes around to tell us we couldn't sit there because other patrons were already sitting there, although no clues (e.g. drinks, purses, jackets) existed to imply this. Tired of the musical chairs shenanigans, we walked next door to Beer Station, where I was very appreciative of the available seating, quick service, and no minimum charges!

umm.. how is it that Opium and Dream gets 3 stars but this place has 5??? Now thats just not fair. Now I'm from the heights and I never met anyone in real life that told me that they LOVE 9pm and recommend this place to me. Okay, so its located inside Diamond Plaza and right across from the tea shop. For all the times i been there its always quite empty and boring, I mean, if you consider empty as being "low-key" then u might like this place. Its just a tiny little place with a tiny little bar (seats around 4??) and a few tables. Its really just a forgettable place.Plus, I always see cops parked right outside of near this joint so good luck with that!

Diamond Bar, CA
was there ever a cover charge? possibly, but not recently.
yes, there is sometimes 20 dollar minimum per person. BUT drinks are kinda pricey, and two drinks will set you at 20 bucks anyhow, so it works out. The place is small, but nice. AYCE popcorn, so cash in on that freebie. crowd seems catered to mostly chinese.
drinks: i thought this stuff was watered down. i've tried some of their mixed drinks, and stuff is weak, and let me tell ya, i'm not much of a drinker.
another time however, the waitress working hooked up my friend and I, with a nice discount.
all in all, one of the few nice "asians" places to drink in the rowland/db area. -

I went to 9pm a couple of times. This is pretty much in an all asian community in Rowland Heights. The girl servers were very friendly. The wine was abit pricey for my blood, but they did kick me down with a couple of shots at no charge. for that, I give them 4 stars.

Diamond Bar, CA
This place is a great place to relax and just chill with a few of your friends. Like much of Rowland Heights, 9pm can get a little fobby. Not being a fob, 9pm makes me feel very welcome. The staff and crowd is very friendly and even remebers your name. There is none of the uptight "no engrish, i sink i is cool than you" nonsense you find at other fob places. Going to 9pm feels like kickin it in a friend's living room as much as it feels like going out to a bar. This place is definately worth checking out. It's a very welcoming place with a local feel.
