Really great location for breakfast and lunch right off the ski lifts. We had been previous years, but this year they have new menu items that we really liked. Smaller space, but we were in and out with 8 people in an hour. I even used open table on the lift to make our reservation. Pretty cool.

I came here for dinner and breakfast, and I have to say that the experience was pretty uneven. The duo of duck I had for dinner was excellent, as was the wine. I would go back for dinner at any time, should I be in the Telluride area.
Breakfast was a buffet, and while filling and satisfying, it was nowhere near on par with the quality and imagination of the dinner menu. Perhaps if I had a menu breakfast, that would change, but there you go.
I see some of the other reviewers had service issues, but I did not. I had absolutely no problems with the service I received. -

I would give this a 3.5 because the service was excellent and the fries were amazing.
We came here for the bar menu (about $10-15 per entree) not the dinner menu ($25-30 per entree). There wasn't a lot of space in the bar area, but the staff was extremely accommodating and combined tables for us (group of 8). I tried something from the dinner menu -- the lamb shank -- and the rest of the group tried the burger. The burger is supposed to be "the best in Telluride." There were mixed reviews about the burger -- some thought it was excellent, others thought there wasn't enough salt. The fries were spectacular though and the burger is definitely worth getting just for that. Getting a side order of fries is too expensive though ($8).
The lamb was enormous with a slight gamey flavor and on a bed of risotto, pearl onions and carrots. The pearl onions and carrots weren't quite soft enough for the dish and the risotto was a bit soggy, but overall it was a good dish.
Overall -- great service, amazing fries
EDIT -- just learned that the waiter at 9545 bar plays PORN at night. he pretends it's an "accident" that the TV lands on a porn channel (going from a movie to skinimax), but supposedly this has happened on more than one occasion. Taking my review down from 3.5 to 3! -

Visiting nearby Montrose a couple of weeks ago lead to a day trip to Telluride and Yelp lead us to choosing 9545 for our lunch that day. We elected to enjoy the breeze on the sunny patio while we dined. Our server was very friendly and helpful, taking good care for us even though we were there late for their lunch hours. Apparently their liquor license was in place (not an issue since we were eating lunch) and they weren't offering dinner service at the time either.
All of that noise aside, we enjoyed a very good meal. The BF had a salmon burger that included a number of toppings, including a fried pepper with a side salad (excellent mix of greens and veggies with olives, chickpeas and a pleasantly spiced house dressing). I took a serious departure from my vegetarian diet to order the BLT and fries. The BLT was perfectly salty with thick cut bacon on a delicious role. The herbed fries were enjoyed by both of us. They brought out homemade chips and fresh salsa as a complimentary starter that was so good we asked for seconds.
All in all, a great lunch at a decent price. -

Well there is no TV in the dining room anymore. Best meal I had over the week i spent in Telluride. Grilled caesar salad---a nice turn on the tradtional.... Roast guinea hen from Wyoming with gouda mashed and roasted veggies was very flavorful and satisfying. Pan fried trout fresh and gently spiced.
Service was excellent one day and acceptable another evening. Bar menu was a hit with my teenaged sons.
I will visit again on my next trip to Telluride. -
Review from Paige S.
Chandler, AZ
Awful service. I was served an awful cut of meat, and when we sent it back the waitress said the chef told her it just happens sometimes. Don't chefs know what is a good cut and what should be served and not served? So many tendons in the meat it was more work to eat than what is was worth. After that we were never compensated offered another dish or anything. This place is highly not recommend. Over priced for the quality and service:(

good food, great service, friendly to families but definitely a very loud and crowded space.
