Has to be the most beautiful Garden I've ever seen. It's so amazing. Every time I walk by it I take at least 10 photos of the various plants.
I'm happy there is a gate surrounding it. It shocks me how many want to step all over. Also shocks me when someone picks a flower (seen it with my own eyes). Not cool people. It looses it's aura when you do that.
I love the smell. Oh the smell of the flowers is amazing. This is a great date spot. A great first kiss spot. A "will you marry me" spot. It's perfect.Listed in: Upper West Side, Places to Hang!, Make it a Date!

STAY AWAY! FAR, FAR AWAY!!!
If you have allergies, that is. There are thousands upon thousands of plants and flowers growing here. These aren't your run of the mill gardening plants. Clearly, some sicko who had access to a top secret military facility stole some seeds marked " for biological warfare" and sowed hate in the soil in my neighborhood.
Have you invested in Kleenex? You really should think about it. You're also gonna need to plant a tree to generate enough paper to blow your nose into if you frequent this part of Riverside Park. I would also invest in a pogo stick. It's the safest way to get around all the other allergy victims you see lying on the ground, redfaced and puffy eyed asking you to "pweese hewp be, I cabpt bweaf". -

We're all on Yelp, yes? And alot of us have met in real life, yes? Well let me tell you about the time I met a girl, or should I say a woman, over the internet?
This was back in the day, when I was still using America Online, and I was just joshing around the chat rooms. The day I turned thirty I wandered into the Over Thirty Room for a joke, sort of, and she was there, and we started chatting. We talked about books, music, how much we both love New York - harmless, totally harmless.
What was her name, you ask? Let's call her Shopgirl, shall we? And my name was NY152.
So every night I would log in, hoping she was online, and more often than not she was. We talked about everything: movies, life, dogs. At the time, I had a dog named Brinkley.
Finally, after months of chatting but never meeting, we decided to meet on a Saturday, which coincidentally was the first day of spring. I suggested a place in Riverside Park on 91st Street where the path curves, which just happened to be the 91st Street Garden. When she saw me coming around the curve, she started to cry. So I handed her my handkerchief and told her, "Don't cry, Shopgirl, don't cry." We hugged some more and finally kissed, while Brinkley kept jumping on us.
We've been together ever since.
