GOAL! A former co-worker of mine is a huge soccer fan and was *way* into the World Cup. As in he would take days off to watch it. One day, he invited me with him to 90 minutes.
90 mins is in a space that used to be a hair salon called the Golden Scissors, not that I could tell. Down the stairs, and after as ducking under a soccer ball on the ceiling, (you're supposed to "head" it, apparently) you enter the joint. There are soccer jerseys on the walls and plenty of soccer oriented periodicals to read during the commercials. It's small and casual..maybe fits a total of twenty to thirty people.
Don't expect to see any US (MLS) games here. The games shown here lean toward Spanish language teams like Boca Juniors (Argentina) and Spain's Mallorca team. So, once your are in the Latin mood, order one of the empanadas here because they are great.
The beers here are a good deal- 3 bucks on selected domestic and imports.
