One of the Business' Favorite Reviews What's This?
Amazing sandwiches, empanadas, and tamales! Wash it all down with a cafe cubano and you'll be a full and happy for the rest of the day. Even better- the owners are super nice- when this place was still being built we stopped by thinking it was open and got a tour and menu. 90 miles is a great alternative to the overpriced and impersonal environment of Cafe 28. I stop by once a week before a long shift at CVES next door and am never disappointed!
As a Floridian it can be difficult finding a Cuban restaurant that encompasses that irresistible flavor that only Cuban food has. I have been searching for a place that had more of a vegetarian selection.....especially black beans. There's only two places in Chicago who have vegetarian black beans. When I found 90 Miles, not only did they have this to offer, they also have a tofu dinner thats cooked in a creole sauce AND they also have soy beef empanadas!!!! I'm a fan for life, and so happy they were considerate enough to make the soy beef emapandas for us non meat eaters.
This restaurant is authentic, quaint and has a very friendly staff. It reminds me of a few places I used to go to in Florida.
Amazing food!
Ordered the ropa vieja sandwich... It was very flavorful and exactly what I wanted. It was more flavorful than other Ropa Vieja I've had. A bit messy to eat though.
The cafe con leche was perfect.
Tostones were average.
The place is compact inside but there's stools to eat at. There's a pretty sizeable outdoor seating area, and even though it is cold now thy hadn't put those tables/chairs away and people were actually using them.
The staff was really, really friendly and helpful. A real neighborhood gem!
What can I say....
Not enough!
Happy friendly funny!
Kicked off the adventure with bread pudding, warm perfect firm yet moist and lush, plus two pastries a guava and a guava cream cheese... I was splitting these with my buddy and I could have eaten them all, I was skeptical when he said they were imported from Miami, thinking pastries imported that can't be good, but somehow magically they were fresh and amazing YOU Can't Have Just One!
Dan had the Cuban with the sweet bread it was very good! For some reason I have never been wowed by traditional cuban sandwiches; I dated a Cuban for a while and ate them here in Detroit and in Miami and this was as good as they get but I liked the Bistec better!
I had the Bistec which is their version of a beef steak and Dan and I agreed it was a transformational experience! so deep so good I could have eaten two easily even though one was quite enough food! Also had a traditional double shot of cuban coffee and it was so perfect so wonderful I wish they had a location by me in Edgewater because I would be there all the time, something tells me I will be looking for reasons to visit this place more often for sure!
This place rocks out on every stage with shake rattle and roll and no apologies for happiness and love!
You will love this place!
OK. I've been back now for the Sandwich Cubano and the Media Noche. No need to be redundant here, the sandwiches are worth the trip, especially if you want he casual, friendly, local color, and family-run experience.

What a great new addition to the Cuban scene. A low key, fun, friendly and funky… Read more »
What can I say the food is the BEST! The service is great and they are great with kids. I love the family feels and the over the top customer service. I drive from O'hare to just eat a cuban sandwhich and a cafe con leche. Yummy!
It's nice that they have a tight parking lot. The restaurant is set-up, so that you can only eat at the counter seating. Although, the day that we stopped in it was nice enough to eat outside where it wouldn't have been a hassle. I couldn't decide on what to order. . . all the sandwiches have a slight variation from the next. I decided on getting the bistec sandwich. It tasted interesting with the potato shoestrings in there. I thought my sandwich was lacking in flavor. It needed more kick or something. I also ordered the goat cheese empanada, which was too much cheesiness for me. Normally, I love anything with goat cheese in it! Now, I know to stick to the meat-centered empandas. Even though, I was disappointed in my meal. . . I am always willing to give a restaurant a second chance.
Holy smokes, ya'll. They make a sandwich with steak, grilled onions, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato AND FLATTENED PLANTAINS INSTEAD OF BREAD. I'm kind of a newbie to Cuban food, but if its as amazing as this sandwich, I'm moving to Cuba.
This place is sooo cute too. It's just a little take out place but it has old Spanish ads from the 50s on the walls, and a dog sniffing another dog's butt painted on the outside. Also, they have a hot sauce there that was perfect for the sandwiches. Although it was small we totally stayed and ate and hung out for a while here.
The staff was sweet and would make a lot of noise when someone new would come in, and then they came out and asked us how the food was. We also tried a guava & cheese empanada that was delicious! I can't wait to come back.
So I watched the CNN special on the owner opening this place in the middle of a recession and saw that he was doing well. This could only mean one thing, that the food was good. I bookmarked his website and said to myself that the next time I am in that neck of the woods I would stop in for a meal. I went there with my wife for lunch today and it was definitely worth it. We started off with the beef empanadas which dipped in a combination of the chimichurri and hot sauce was great along with the the Tamal which was some of the sweetest smoothest masa I have ever had. Next we went on to two sandwiches that we each had half of with a side of sweet plantains. First the Ropa Vieja which was spiced well and juicy in between a really fresh roll which was amazing. Second we ate the Cubano which was gooey and mixed with some really great ham and and other pork cuts with a great bite of pickle and mustard. With that we had a side of plantains and Yuca fries which were both good starchy sides to balance out the sandwiches. We washed it down with some Iron beer which is a sugary cross between cream soda and Dr. Pepper. All in all a great meal and well worth the 12 mile drive from Northbrook.
I really wanted to like this place...but unfortunatly I didn't. I had the Ropa Vieja, which is my favorite cuban dish. It looked SOO good but when I tasted it it tasted like nothing. I added salt and hot sauce to enhance the flavor but it didn't help. The plantains were good but overall I was totally disappointed.
The service wasn't that great either. Maybe it was just an off night.
The food is great! I have driven over to little Cuba on division many times without being blown away. This place blows me away. I live close and have been 3 times in two weeks. The green chimmichuri is to die for (agreed with tip ask for more because it is not enough. Get the desserts they are a great experience.
Cute lil neighborhood stop for a cafe con leche and cuban sandwich . They have a very cozy enclosed outdoor patio in the back .The Veggie Sandwich with black beans ,swiss cheese ,onions ,portabello mushrooms is absolutely delicious and the bread is perfectly toasted .As for the cafe con leche Im gonna have to say its pretty mediocre, nothing compared to Marianaos ,but I guess if you need a fix you can get it here .I will definently be back for a Sandwich soon though !
eh...I thought it was okay. Cuban sandwich was pretty good, not the best. Congri was blegh, but my aunt makes the best I've ever had so I guess it's not a fair comparison. I grew up in Florida and there's a couple places to speak of: Tropical Cafe in West Palm b/c the croquetas are incredible, and the Black Bean Deli in Orlando which is a crazy good sandwich.
For that matter, why the hell are two croquetas $2.50!? That's insane! For two and half bucks you should get about 6. I felt ripped off -- they weren't even oversized to make up for the lack of quantity.
Ya know, I've been wanting to go to 90 miles for awhile, and I wanted this to be the awesome Cuban place in town. (sigh)...Sadly I am let down. Sorry, 90 Miles, give me more croquetas next time, and I'll bump the rating a star.
This place is rad! The food is so awesome! I like the steak sandwich and the pork. Good food, nice employees and great decorations. Last but not least... cheap prices and good parking!
I am amazed with this place! Not only did they turn a run down hot dog stand into the cutest little Cuban restaurant I've ever seen, but the food is amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly. We're lucky enough to live walking distance from this tasty restaurant. Definitely try to steak sandwich served on thick fried slices of platanos. AMAZING.
It took us almost a year to get back to the 90 Miles Cuban cafe. It was better than I remembered it. The staff was still as wonderful as ever, and the food seemed to get better.
We did the Croquettes, and the Cuban tamale's for an appetizer and the Cuban Sandwich for the entree. Everything was mouth watering. I can't recommend this place enough. If you haven't tried this place yet, get off of your ass and do it.
This is going to be the place that I get all of my take out food for Bears games this season. Football, and a Cuban Sandwich.
Heaven Indeed!!!!

small place but huge menu...
even for the vegetarian -- tons of vegi options that go beyond plaintains and other members of the starch family. their vegi sandwich is amazing and their tostones, to die for. husband got a bistec sandwich and an empanada and croquette side. pour on that chimichurri sauce on anything and everything! yes, we probably over ordered but were so overwhelmed by the choices and wanted to try everything. the bread they use is a crunchy chewy goodness and extremely FILLING. i was busting at the seams and could not stop munching - you just can't help it. cuban food has never really done anything for me because of its traditional meat-heavy menu. i also found it difficult to pay so much money for beans and yuca! no need for fancy - 90 miles has very authentic, delicious food for bargain prices.
It was a beautiful day in Chicago, so after finding out that 90 miles had been only a few blocks away from us for over a year, my boyfriend and I headed over on a walk with our pup. They sat outside at one of the cute, shaded tables while I went in to order.
As soon as I walked in, I must've looked a little lost cause I was immediately approached by an employee who asked if it was my first time. It was, and he announced it to the whole restaurant who broke out into cheers and applause. Talk about making a girl feel welcome!
The menu was explained to me and I settled on the cubano sandwich, the guajirito (green plaintains instead of bread, juicy steak, grilled onions... YUM!), an order of maduros (sweet plaintains) and the goat cheese and chorizo empanadas.
All were amazingly awesome. The sandwiches were BIG, so we knew we ordered too much food (only $23 for all that and two drinks!), but couldn't stop eating. I read some people say the guajirito was greasy, but mine was perfect, the steak was super juicy, so it was a little messy, but not greasy. My boyfriend doesn't like empanadas, but after these, he said he'd changed his mind. They definitely had more "stuff" in them than any other empanadas we'd had; more than just dough, and the pastry was crisp and flaky. Delicious.
I'm so sad that I'm only discovering this place now since it was one of the best meals I've had in months!
Fantastic service, great food and beautiful outdoor seating when the weather cooperates. Hope they like my face, cause they'll be seeing it often.
At the first sign of a clear and sunny Friday evening, we ventured off to a little gem on the northwest side called 90 Miles Cafe (on N. Clybourn, south of Western). Cleverly named for the rough distance from the U.S. to Cuba, this place serves up only the most authentic Cuban cuisine. In fact, we overheard the owner saying that he had lived in Cuban until he was 11 so these recipes are genuine.
The place on its own looks like a little shipwrecked hot dog stand with South American flair. The menu is written in Spanish (half of it I couldn't understand, but some words looked familiar). You walk in, order, and find a spot at the counter - a U-shaped deal that has about 12 spots tops - or take a seat at the spacious outside patio seating.
The menu here is pretty simple -- some breakfast stuff, sandwiches and sides, and dinner platters (your choice of steak, chicken, pork, etc). that come with fried plantains, black beans and rice. But sometimes, the simple things are the best.
Lois went for the chicken dinner -- good stuff. The large chicken breast was lightly marinated and topped generously with sauteed onions. The black beans, which came in a small cup, were flavorful and particularly good when mixed with the sticky white rice. But the plantains were the best part -- slightly crispy on the outside but nice and mushy on the inside. And all of the portions were the perfect size, so you didn't have to worry about loading up on one thing and having to skip the others.
Clark ordered the beef steak dinner, which came with all the same sides as Lois's dinner. The quality of the steak was excellent, and the overall taste was delicious. What stood out was the marinade that they use, which consisted of a vinegar mixture that gave it a tart taste. None the less, it was excellent, and was topped with grilled onions and some type of green garnish. But I would have to say that the black beans and the plantains made the meal. I'm not usually the type to request black beans on anything, but this dish came with them on the side, and they were the first to be cleared. And the plantains -- yes, like Lois said, they were delicious and crispy, but full of fresh "banana" flavor.
To wrap it up, the food was good, the setting was excellent, the owner is friendly, and authentic, and this place was really kind of interesting in general. We dropped about $25 here for two dinners and two sodas and it was pretty much worth it.
WOW!!!!
Staff super nice and welcoming!!! Cute little location on Clybourn, perfect for carryout. It reminds me of the Cuban version of Potbelly's.
I had the Lechon sandwich, it definitely hit the spot! I heard a lot of good things about it, so slightly apprehensive on how good it could really be. It did not disappoint. I also had the empanada (beef)---Delicious.
Definitely not a diet spot, meaning it's slightly but not overwhelmingly greasy. My friend is a vegetarian and they have the option of Tofu sandwich and grilled cheese.
Tip: Call in your order, it'll save time especially during the busy hours.
Try it!!
I have come to prefer and love those little off the beaten path small places that lack any pretense. 90 Miles has it all for me when you're in the right frame of mind:
1. Spot on authentic comida cubano
2. Very reasonably priced
3. Really friendly (...and social) staff. GM was there serving us today. This guy from Ohio couldn't be any further from Cuba on many levels, but had such a great attitude, was really friendly and took pride in the place. I like that.
4. Music. I hate when ethnic places overlook music as part of the flavor. 90 Miles did not disappoint and was pumping classic old school cuban music. Perfect.
5. it's smail. Very intimate. sat on barstools inside and just pigged out.
This is my new favorite spot in Chicago when I am in town!!!!
90 miles is a shack. It has limited window seating that offers a dismal view of a sparsely populated slab of Clyborn. You half expect to see yuccas rolling down the street. And thus, it perfectly embodies that unexpected gem that makes Chicago endearing.
Went for lunch, and the sandwiches are wet, messy and soulful. The ropa vieja overflowed with tender, soothing beef in a satisfying creole sauce. It should be eaten to the brass sounds of a smooth baritone, may bring the ghettoblaster next time to facilitate this. The ratio of meat to bread is tactful and appropriate, which is of utmost importance. Indulge in the sides- even if it means sacrificing laundry quarters- especially the yucca frita and plantain chips (mariquitas).
I had been wanting to try this joint and finally got my chance on Memorial Day, when our first breakfast choice was closed without notice. Busted out the laptop, searched Yelp...ah! 90 Miles was open 8-4 that day.
Although they do have breakfast, I went for the cubano sandwich, which comes with seasoned plantain chips, AND we split a side of yuca fries with garlic. So it was sort of an unconventional breakfast, but hot damn was it delicious. The sandwich was one of the two or three best cubanos that I've had, and both the sides were very good too. I finished that meal off with a mango shake which really hit the spot--creamy and fruity but overly sweet and heavy.
I returned last night with two friends for dinner and found the place active but not overwhelmed between 6:30 and 8. (I was there for a while because my friends kept me waiting...). I had been worried about the crowds, but we were able to get seats outside despite a few scattered sprinkles.
I went with one of the dinner specials, the masas de puerco--big chunks of pan-fried pork with a garlicy sauce drizzled over. The meat was great, tender and moist with a nice fry-crust on the outside. The black beans and rice were completely uninspired, but went okay with the meat. I also got a vegetable empanada which was darn good.
Both of my buddies enjoyed their meals too. My one friend averred "I like this better than that Costa Rican place you took us to last year" (meaning Irazu) which demonstrates both the fact that he doesn't get out much and his gifts for non-sequitur and free-association.
I've interacted with four or five different staff here, including the owner, and they are all very fun and friendly. That goes a long way. The prices are good and they have Diet 7UP in their drink case. I hope to return with some regularity.
The GF and I came here for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Because of the rain, outside seating was not an option. Unfortunately, inside seating is limited to seats at a wrap around counter. That's not a big deal when people are considerate, but the restaurant seemed to be full of couples who could care less about anyone else. Now, I don't hold it against the owners of the restaurant, but it was pretty annoying.
It may seem odd that I gave such a high rating to 90 Miles Cuban Cafe when the intro paragraph is a rant, but the food is that good.
I had a cuban sandwich and ropas vieja sandwich and they were both excellent. I also had the french fries, which were excellent. They were golden brown and crispy. The maduros were great too.
Our entire meal was about $21. I think there were some reviews that say the price is too high, but I think it's a bargain. I'd definitely like to try dinner here.
Excellent, for sure.
Didn't really dig my sandwich (Media Noche) but really like the lady's Bistek. The empanadas were awesome and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
Love Cuban Sandwiches and Cafe Con Leche and finally found a spot here that does it right.
RrL
I'm a nut for a good Cubano, and these guys have a good Cubano. Good Ropa Vieja, good everything. Love this place. It's a bit small, so get there early if you wanna eat inside. The walls are covered in Cuban news clippings and things of that sort, so even sitting at the counter to eat is entertaining. Grab a Materva while eating too, totally delicious.
The only treat that really lives up the high quality of a day of thrifting success like today's is Cuban sandwich.
Once upon another life, two ladies spent their days thrifting, and frolicking and eating Cafe Marianao and never gaining weight. Those days are long gone and we're lucky to fit a quick thrift and a lunch in between errands and bitching about our fat. Life is tough.
90 Miles is a little bigger, a little cleaner, and a little different from the shack of our youth, but still a lovely lunch. My Cuban sandwich was toasty and salty and pickley and wonderful and I wish the plantain chips had been more plentiful.
They got our empanada order wrong and where there should have been beef, guava appeared but I wasn't pissed. It was good. Hopefully the orderer of the guava wasn't too upset or a vegetarian.
We ate our goodies on the patio out back and enjoyed some cafe con leche which was both strong and sweet. I feel like someone should insert some "just how I like my men" type joke here, but I don't think they make a coffee that's bossy and neurotic. If so, give it my number.
I shall be back. Until then I will be eating the remains of my sandwich.
Me and my bf went to this place after
reading a review in the reader.
Their cubano sandwich was a-ight.
and maybe if i never had Senor Pan's Cubano
I would have loved it.
But Senor Pan...mmm. better.
the coffee was quite good though,
byob is always nice,
as is the patio.
Holy god the cubano sandwich is so delicious you wont even believe your face.
This place throws a military coup on your taste buds and totally declares independence from those oppressive flavors you've grown accustomed to.
An absolute delight, I went back three days in a row.
And the Lechon sandwich is crushingly magnificent too. Shredded pork, plantains, amazing cheese - THE WORKS! This place is a must go if you like amazing food.
Thanks Fidel, for forcing these people to swim to america and some how migrate to belmont, clybourn, and western and open this restaurant. The last 60 years were worth it if we get to have amazing food like this. I consider this to be an apology for the Cuban missile crisis.
CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS APOLOGY - ACCEPTED
So how long has this place been around? The old newspaper clippings all over the walls tells me its existed at least since the 40's. For some strange reason, I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. Not that she had old newspaper clippings all over her walls. I guess after being engulfed in nostalgia, I was transported to another era. It kept me intrigued the entire time as I waited for my order.
This is my new cuban subway. Ok, so maybe I won't find Jared scarfing down sammis here, as the calories are just a little higher than subways. When I saw the grease pouring through my to-go bag I hesitated a bit. But oh man, the trans-fats were worth it.
Gaujirito - really tasty, it was so rich that I could only manage to finish half....w/o being extremely full. Then I picked apart the other half, pushed the plantains to the side, they were a bit heavy. The steak was flavorful and not chewy. I have deep childhood memories of chewy steak...which as an adult, makes me inspect all meat before I eat it. No inspection needed here. The steak passes with flying colors.
Cubano - much lighter than the Gaujirito. I LOVE bread so I was happy to get a few bites of this one after eating my heavy plantain sammi. Both good. I took the steak from the Gaujirito + bread from the Cubano and made a scrumtious bite.
Oh, I can't forget the empanadas. We dabbled and orderd one goat cheese and one chorizo. The chorizo was my fav. I could order 2 of those and call it lunch. I'm salivating just thinking about it.
And what's up with the strawberry shakes? In the 10 or 15 minutes I waited for my order, I must have heard 5 orders for this shake. It has to be made with some addictive substance.
We went on a Friday afternoon, the tiny place was bustling, but not at all over crowded. I imagine on a weekend, this place might have lines out the door.
This place is fantastic! The sandwiches are out of this world and the empanadas will knock you on your ass with their goodness.
The service is excellent, the place is clean. and the mural on the outside of the building is very cool.
Good food all around, but not spectacular.
The yuca frita stole the show, and the plantains were quite nice, too. My wife ordered Lechon Dinner and I got the Cubano. Both carried good flavor, but I preferred the Lechon Dinner to my sandwich.
All in all, the same fare we had in Miami came in head and shoulders above what we had here. I think I am going to try a few other Cuban places in town before I return.
I love this place, Love the cuban at this spot. No matter where I am in this country I never order pork cubans, always steak. Which isn't traditional. They made that very clear when I ordered it b/c its not on the menu. Anyway the cuban here is nothing short of perfection.
They really dont have a problem accomodating your special requests either. Now I've never been to Cuba. But I spend alot of time in Florida and NEVER have I come across cuban cuisine at this scale before.
Whoda thunk it lol. The best Cuban restaurant in America is in the MIDWEST!!! The empanadas............. Try them beef or chorizo. OMG! I would just love to kiss whoever the genius is creating these mind numbingly delicious little pieces of heaven.
This spot is so worth the trek from the southside. I was there Saturday and the new Armitage location is opening today! YAAYYY!!!!!
This place may not look like much from the outside (with the threat of rain, we weren't even sure there would be indoor seating) but don't let that turn you away. There are twelve barstools indoors and a host of outdoor seating should Summer ever come to our fair city.
So, Cuban food. What do I know about Cuban food? Not much. My gringo-ness was nearly palpable so the cashier reached out and offered a printed menu (more detailed than what is up on the chalkboards) and offered his assistance as I chose my breakfast. In fact, the entire staff was SUPER friendly the entire time we were here - WONDERFUL people.
I'm new to this whole plantain business, and this place has plantains up the wazoo. My sandwich was an omelette with sweet plantains and was served with plantain chips and washed down with a pineapple soda. Yum yum.
Crowning glory of all the food was the red sauce we were encouraged to try with it. I started slow (I'm a Cuban-Newbie!) but eventually doused my entire sandwich with this stuff.
Love the cute Ambiance but the food is a tad bit over-rated I had my mouth Set on a Cuban Sandwhich as believe it or not . one of the best is in Detroit, MI ............ the fries weren't good at all. they reminded me of the kind from burger king the staff was excellent and one of the owners came to let us know that our food would be served shortly. I will try another dish next time and update my rating but for First Impressions... Great job opening, improving the quality of food is a must
Enjoybale cubano. Made correctly, good size, served hot and juicy, and on better bread than most. I will say I've had better though at a better price.
I also tried the pollo sandwich. Not so great. Very dry and processed. Could have made this at home. The yucca fries were, well, yukka. Perhaps if they'd been hot?
I think this place could use a little quality control.
So the first think you need to know about 90 Miles is a little Chicago geography. Clybourn ends at Belmont, so if you are taking the Belmont #77 bus, get off at Western! Otherwise you miss it, as I have done.
I have been once and I got a Cuban sandwich and two empinadas, the chorizo and a goat cheese one. I thought the empinada was to die for. I loved the goat cheese one! It had a wonderful flaky crust and creamy inside. Yum! The chorizo one was very interesting. It had a strong smokey taste, but I liked it in the end. I only wondered if they were made fresh or frozen? Hmmm ...frozen is a no-no.
The cuban sandwich was HUGE! It was the classic cuban and nothing extraordinary about it. I once had a cuban with mayo on it (i know i know), but it worked. I sort of wished this one had some mayo on it. It was toasty and warm and everything you want in a pressed sandwich.
The prices were fair ..sandwich was around $6 and empinadas were $2 each. Good prices in a down economy (I tend to blame the economy for everything because it is trendy...so in reality it is a good price regardless!)
Whats nice is that they have their own parking lot and some limited seating inside.
...When I go back next time I would get one of their Cuban meals. Those look delish!
Ok everyone knows that I have a deep Cafecito obsession. For more information, please refer to my ROTD on 1/12/09. :) Their Cubano sandwich is heaven on Earth!
Needless to say, I was ready to shoot 90 miles Cubano sandwich down, convinced nothing could come close to Cafecito perfection. The melty cheese, the cracker crisp bread, the roasted pork and ham! Yummy!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that 90 miles' Cuban sandwich is extremely close in quality of ingredients and flavor. The proportion of meats and crispiness of the bread is just slightly different but otherwise it is an excellently tasty sandwich.
Best part it is not far from home so when I can't make it down to the South Loop, I can still get my Cubano fix.
Let us start out with the fact that I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!
Ok, now that it is out of my system, I can move on. I really wish this place was open on Sunday because it seems to be the only day I ever want to go. It has the same affect on me as Chick fil A.
The goat cheese empanada is probably my favorite thing on the menu. I don't tend to go for the Cuban sandwiches (although I'm told they are good) and would prefer to attack the rest of the menu. I've had the ropa as well as an assortment of the, for lack of a better term, appetizers and I have been very satisfied with everything I have gotten.
Get an Iron Beer from the fridge, you will not regret it.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. My husband read about it in the RedEye and suggested we try it out. The food is amazing. The lechon is on point. My dad is Cuban and he makes his food the same way. It was like being at home... I have been to Cuba and fell in love the the mamey drinks out there. I was amazed to see that this place had it. I didn't think I would ever taste mamey again, and it was so good! This is a small place but that doesn't change my opinion at all. They are expanding to an Armitage location so lookout for that.
The food is AMAZING, the owners are so nice... what more could you ask for? When you go there (because I know you will) get the Lechon sandwich, Mamey shake, and Cafe Cubano. Trust me! I absolutely recommend this place to everyone!
