I was feeling the burn. The burning desire for new shoes that is. I was in the Embarcadero complex and wasn't feeling the selection in Franco Sarto, so I decided to wander into 9 West to check out their selection of flats. 9 West all of the sudden has started makin some sexy shoes. Good work, folks! The sales here seem to be far better than the sales in the department stores for the same shoes...
There is also a rack of very, very stylish coats. And lots of purses, though I don't really dig them.
I tried on this cute pair of two-toned shoes, and since the black/silver is more popular, they're still $10 more than the other color pairs. But the sales girl was so sweet, so in the mood to indulge me, that she said, and I quote, "I don't think it's fair that just because those colors are more popular that you should have to pay more. I'll give them to you for $29.99 anyway." Well said, sister! So now I've spent two days basking in the glow of my darling little flats (which were inexpensive as hell!), all thanks to 9 West Embarcadero Center, and the nice sales lady who likes to keep it real.
