For that brooklyn move.
On one of my off nights a friend actually suggested going out in brooklyn, which if you live in brooklyn you know the odds of a manhattanite coming out here are about as good as the odds that the stars will align or that you will get laid tonight...it basically never happens.
So off we set and found ourselves in the middle of the brooklyn diner. I had high hopes for this place as it had a nice outer and promised a great patio under the stars. Beers were adequate, the crowd was thin and basically this establishment offered just about nothing extra. If only an alright look, and an outdoor patio were effective...
My suggestion is to go to another bar...but seriously...just get blacked out prior to going here and head to the outdoor patio, send some drinks to a chick and hopefully you will get a good 'ol brooklyn welcome. As far as coming from manhattan I strongly advise against that, and as far as coming from Hoboken...wait why the hell do you live in Hoboken anyways?

This is going to be a half-assed review because one, it took me FOREVER on google to find the address of the place, and two I can't find a phone number for it. Hell, it's not even listed in the yellow pages! All I know is last summer this was one of the places to be. Chris Annibell did his Carmina Soul parties here, and you were able to get your sip on and sit amid teensy tea candles with lush greenery behind you under the stars (open roof spot). Straight SEXY. Oh yes, the place does have a diner attached, hence, the name 718 Brooklyn Diner, which I haven't actually eaten at (yet) but I would love to go here just to sit on their outdoor patio.
