Extremely disappointed with ownership/management for not staffing more help during the lunch time rush. There was one waitress serving 30-40 people, jammed pack on a Thursday afternoon (around 2 pm). I felt bad for her, taking orders, serving the food, dealing with the checks and transactions. After we received our drinks, we were pretty much ready to order our meal. Our daughter, hadn't eaten all day and she was getting cranky. Needless to say, I apologized to the waitress and we left frustrated without even trying the food.

My wife was miffed at how hot it was inside. I know it's Winter, but it got extremely uncomfortable inside with the doors closed, the crowd exhaling carbon, and the kitchen "ablaze." There needs to be some kind of climate control even during the Winter where it was mid-70s here in San Pedro.

Been here twice. Had a regular cheeseburger first time and an ostrich burger the second. Meat is dry and bland and I ended up asking for hotwing sauce to spice things up. Beer is flat and kinda warm too, which is a crime in my book. I really wanted to like this place, but it didn't work out.

As far as wings in the south bay. this is the joint. They've been on Food Network for their buffalo wings and it shows. Theyre nicely done and very tatsty (this coming from a guy who typically does not like buffalo wings). The spot is a bit hard to find but when you know San Pedro, you know of this place. Its smashed b/t 2 other shops on 8th and Weymouth in the heart of San Pedro. The food comes fairly fast and its always tasty. You can get buffalo wings or another flavor (or mix the flavors -- one of my coworkers had honeymustard and spicy level wings). On my last trip I had a tuna sandwich (as it was Ash Wednesday and I am Catholic). I was a bit nervous about a tuna sandwhich from wing/burger joint but to my pleasant surprise it was nicely done and very tasty. Hands down a great place to grab a bite.

Dang, it's Wednesday and my a** is still on fire from Sunday! Whatever you do, don't order the Ring of Fire unless raw habaneros do not phase you in the least or you will die!!!! My buddy eats raw habaneros regularly and was in tears after one wing, quit at two. I got "scorching" and was in serious pain (good pain though).

Overall, the wings were excellent (as good as the other top wing spots on Yelp). We got fried Mac and Cheese which was great (not much to compare to, most places don't offer it). Fries were very good, I think cooked in oil that is used for frying other things so they picked up some seasoning. Also ordered the Cevapcici, I have never had this before but I liked it, great char flavor and the sauce was great.

Service was good, two cute girls swarming the room so we didn't have to ask for anything. Only issue, there is no busser and the girls weren't interested in cleaning tables so they will need to work on this (finished items left on tables for hours).

Oh, and the place was full of Raider fans and it was fun to watch Denver kill 'em....

I will be heading back regularly based on my experience, nice family vibe....

    Reasons to go:
Great Wings (if you like hot stuff this is your place. Before they serve you their hottest wing offering you have to sign a disclaimer!)
Good Burgers with exotic meats on offer. Kangaroo, Alligator, etc.
    Cool retro vibe.
If you own a motorcycle this is a cool place to stop as you ride through PV Drive canyons....

This place ranks up there with some of the best wings I have had in L.A. And I have had my fair share of wings. While I have had my fair share of cheap bar .25 wing nights at various places in Los Angeles, this one had a lot of the good stuff coming.

From their sauces to just the way they were fried, they hit all the marks.Though I guess you can't really go wrong in making wings, at least not to the point that one would not eat them.

They also offer a variety of other pub style food from burgers to hot dogs and while it wasn't the best hot dog I have eaten, it was pretty damn good.

It's not often that I find myself at the end of the 110 freeway, but if I am going out to the area, this place is mighty tempting to go hit up. With its checked look it does have a sort of hybrid diner/pub feel going to it.

Great place if you're looking for pub food without all the drunks and in a comfortable setting near the cliffs of San Pedro. Make sure you try the deep fried mac and cheese.

OK, so I did go back. Fat Tire on tap (win!) and great fresh whole wheat bread from Polly Ann's a few doors down on Weymouth. Love that they keep it local! I had a veggie Garden Burger, which I enjoyed. They also had NINE salads to choose from. Fries actually disappointed, they were overdone. A bit surprised that they were served, but that can happen. As long as I stay away from the wings here, I think I can be happy from time to time.

    NB- closed Mondays!

We ordered a Ceasar salad and a Chicken Wing combo to share. The Ceasar salad arrived with no croutons, so it's just a bowl of lettuce with cheese and dressing. We get the waitresses attention in a few minutes and ask for croutons, and says she's sorry but their out. Said she didn't know until she put it on the table for us. This is a little annoying but its all the so because even after she served it she didn't bother to point it out, to offer some sort of exchange. She knocks 75 cents off the price because that's what they cost anyway apparently.

The fries for the combo come along with some carrot and celery sticks and some dip. We finish the fries and as we wait for our chicken the waitress clears out table including the untouched carrot and celery sticks and the dip. We get her attention before she leaves and ask if she could leave them as we hadn't had our chicken yet. She look surprised, says something to the effect of "Oh, she never brought that for you." She'd been our waitress since we arrived so I don't know who 'she' was.

I don't want to be hostile, she was clearly getting grief from another customer, but I don't know if she was messing up because of that or if the other customer had got the same level of service as us and was a little less forgiving.

The food wasn't great either. I let my wife eat the salad because it was so unappealing as it was, and the chicken wings were nothing outstanding. Their claim to have the best wings in the South Bay may once have been true but now they're a little below out local Wingstop.

This isn't the first time I've been here and my first visit was better, so I'm not completely writing this place off just yet.

We were out enjoying a beautiful summer day in February, consuming huge amounts of fuel with our "Hemi" powered truck looking for and not finding the "Iron City Tavern" on Ninth, decided to re-visit this little gem.
I again had the (now I can say it) Cevapcici burger. Boo! Overdone, but edible, my bride had the chili cheese dog with fried zuks, yummy to both!
I will try the wings next time, promise!

This was a fun place to go. My husband really enjoyed his buffalo wings. My parents and husband signed the waiver for the crazy, super hot kind and they loved it. They do say that it is much hotter if you order the wings that have been marinated in it, so be careful! I had the mac&cheese triangles, and they were delightful! I dipped them in the "sissy" sauce and had a great time with that :) The servers were very friendly and the little place has a cozy family atmosphere.

I'm not a local here in San Pedro so I used Yelp to assist me and my husband with a great wing place. after reading the reviews we decided to give 710 Grille a try. Upon entering the establishment no one that worked in the facility acknowledge us after sitting down. Just to note we are here for our first anniversary...so after sitting for about 15 minutes without anyone even coming to take our drink order, my husband went to the counter and the young lady said she "didn't see us," really...well not only did we sit darn near on the cash register..not that race is an s factor here but we were the only Afro-Americans in the facility. I was a bit aggravated but my husband wanted to stay..now onto the food...

My husband ordered the teriyaki burger that he found to be delicious.. I had the "sissy" sauced wings..one step up from the regular..wings were "ok" I've had better... The prices are reasonable so I guess for less than $25 bucks I can't complain to much...you get what you pay for... I don't see us visiting this location if we come back for a visit.

My girlfriend lives in San Pedro and I saw this place driving back from Western Ave to her place. I have to say, awesome job on the wings. Some of the best I've had in a while. My bacon cheeseburger was OK, the patty was a tad on the wimpy side and overcooked. My girlfriend loved her Turkey-Burger with Swiss and green chili peppers. Solid beer list on tap and next time, I'll stick to the wings and try a different type of burger......Cool neighborhood atmosphere, friendly waitresses and we'll be back!

Stopped in to try the wings and burgers today and wondered what took me so long !

Played it safe with the degree of spicy on the wings for a 1st experience.  Wings were great: nice and crisp though hardly seemed breaded. Probably will try next level of spicy, but this was pleasant start to finish.

The "Mess" Burger was super: 1/3 lb cooked as close to med rare as we can hope, with choice of 4 cheeses, bacon ( tasty, but wished it less of a "rind" ) avocado, tomato, lettuce, dill pickles, 1000 island, and grilled ortega pepper + I added griied onion.  The bun was grilled crisp enough to stand up to all the juices and tasted great.  Enough to share, & they gladly cut the burger and brought extra plates.  Oh yeah, it wasn't as messy as I expected, probably because they cut it in half for us.

For a mainly burger place, there's a lot of variety on the menu.  From other reviews, I gathered that if you want to try unusual burgers like buffalo, kangaroo, ostrich it's best to order them as rare as possible to avoid having them dry.  Im eager to try the cevapcici burger next time.

They're only open from 11am to 9pm ( no breakfast )  The place has a friendly, home-town feel to it, and the service was fairly quick and accommodating to any special requests.

    Wingful Winner!!!!

Unpretentious but totally welcoming - locally owned joint amidst a residential area/small biz area of San Pedro.

Although I dont eat hot wings, the people I went with did - they claim this place tosses up the best "sissy" wings moist, meaty - (NOTE: Hot wing lovers out there: I didnt know chickens had this big of wings - and I see hot wings all the time!!!) - heat values ranging from sissy - to something SO HOT they make you sign a release form.  (Seriously, is that legal to sell something that hot??? - the release form leads me to believe the bring out a propane torch, clamp your toungue out and brand 710 in it!!) Im kidding of course!

OK, so Im not serious vegan - I just dont eat meat - don't be a hater - but this joint aims to please - they have Garden Burgers (which i thoroughly & delightfully indulged in - was so thick - stacked tall with fresh whole leaf lettuce, tomatoes, onions, secret sauce - I had to do the palm-to-bun-squish just to get it in my mouth.), Tuna sammies, AND for the adventerous....Ostrish burgers, Buffalo burgers and ALLIGATOR BURGERS!!! - everything is noted to be ground or made fresh!!  Even the BREAD!!!

Ok, so bring your friends, they have a large LCD peering down on you while you dine and they serve up domestic and import beer and wine (this is not a bar - but since when does beer not engage sweetly and sinfully with a big burger???)

The price is so totally right on:
    Fried Zucchini LESS THAN $6
Garden Burger ala carte LESS THAN $6
10 hot wings LESS THAN $8  (Note: order half one heat and half another heat)
individual packs of carrots and celery (help kills the fire in your mouth) Ask for an extra pack - especially if you have a non-meat eater in your party!!!

Keep in mind - everthing is packed and stacked fresh - so give yourself some extra time to enjoy the double burn hotwings and frosty long neck.

I know you are popular and stuff, but only bring 30 of your closest friends when you come here - its a cozy joint!!

Caliente! That is the only Spanish word I know, and it means very hot! I am not much into spicy foods, but one day my daughter and I went to lunch here. Upon sitting down, we noticed they had "World famous" hot wings advertised. This is where it gets ugly.

Along with their unbelievably fantastic burgers and world famous hot wings, they also have a collection of evil hot sauces. Some of the bottles actually have warning labels and the restaurant makes you sign a waiver to even use those sauces.

My daughter did not know about the warning label, she just saw "Kill Ya Hot" or something like that on one of the bottles and thought, it would be funny to watch her mother tear up a bit. She dared me to try a bite of the spicy hot wings, claiming that they were not that bad, so I did.

"Ah gon el ma tung"! I muttered. No folks, the spelling is not wrong, it is what happens to a person when they feel as though they are going into anaphylactic shock! I was merely trying to beg for help, as I "Couldn't feel my tongue".

My eyes started to tear up, my nose was running like a bad spring allergy and I swear I think my lungs were collapsing. I kept pinching my cheeks and lips, while whining. I put my finger to my tongue and screamed, "eeere", my daughter said, what? I again started crying saying, "eere, eere, ot!".

The waitress ran over and asked if she could help and my daughter yelled, I think she said get her a beer. Quickly the waitress ran off and came back with a giant mug of beer. What in the world were they trying to do to me? My daughter in a state of panic quickly jumped up and force fed me the mug of beer.

I choked and gasped and begged for forgiveness, as I clearly knew I was about to die! The beer only made things worse and temperatures were rising in my mouth and throat. There was no time for explaining that I was just saying, "here, it is hot, here". So I grabbed the vase of flowers and quickly drank the water.

The young, naive waitress came running over and proceeded to tell me that I could not drink the flower water, that she would get me a glass of drinking water. If I had been able to speak I would have told her I do not normally enjoy drinking "flower-nated water" with stems and thorns, but this was an emergency. But I didn't in fear of what they would bring me next, because of the language barrier.

Things started to cool down slightly, but the stinging sensation was still very present. I believe that the waitress and my daughter both went to the same medical class, because my daughter thought it necessary to pull out a wipey cloth from its little packet and wipe my tongue with it. So now my palate had the taste of soap, disinfectant, chili and flower preservatives. I never did get a chance to try the burger, but I can tell you the hot wings are to die for!

This is such a great restaurant, even though the hot sauce almost killed me! Great people, great wait staff and cooks and great owners! all around A+++++++++++++++++++

This is a great neighbourhood restaurant.  The Los Angeles news rated it best wings in South Bay.  Apparently it claims one has to sign a waiver to eat their hottest wings so naturally I'm there!  I wasn't disappointed.  Make sure 710 has the fire dept on call to dowse your mouth as their wings were crispy and coated in molten lava that had the potential to burn for days like a California wild fire!  If you're a burger person, they serve up a variety, all with clever menu captions.  And variety I mean not only cow, turkey but they have bison, ostrich, alligator, kangaroo and a San Pedro local Croatian chavahp that I'm going back for.  BTW - a large basket of fries must have been made with 10 potatoes, it's huge and can feed 3 or 4 people.
Go check this place out for lunch, you'll be happy you did.

Not a bad place! My mom and I checked it out thanks to Yelp.

She had a regular cheeseburger which she liked but commented that the burger meat itself was thin, like a fast food burger. But it was tasty apparently. She thought fries were greasy, I didn't think so. They were GOOD! They had a little kick of spicy salt sprinkled on too. We also had some fried zucchini (because they were out of jalapeno poppers) which had an awesome breading on it, served with ranch sauce. I thought these were a tad greasy but SO GOOD.

As a place that does BBQ, I didn't feel like wings but I felt I had to try their house sauce. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with the BBQ sauce instead, and I think it was about a 5/20 on spiciness on their scale. It was a bit TOO hot for me, and I like my sauce a bit thicker and sweeter, but it was still quite good. Just a bit too hot. I'm a wimp, I admit it!

For you people that love hot HOT wings, this place is awesome. They also have honey mustard, BBQ, and teriyaki. Their hot wings go on a scale of 1-20, so I can imagine why they make you really sign that waiver!

From what I could tell though, you really want to come here, get some wings and fries and a beer. Now that's good eatin'!

I went with Riblet and Ilovefood to this place way out in the middle of nowhere so we could try some buffalo burgers! Now for the news:

The Bad: This place is kind of secluded and in a shady area. I thought I was going to get raped....and that's saying something because I'm not a wimpy guy!

The Good: I have never had such friendly service...and from a burger joint no less! They have great and inexpensive burgers ranging from your basics to exotic stuff like kangaroo, buffalo, and alligator! Unbelievably, the best part isn't even the burgers. We were dared/sold on the idea of their hot wings. They have varying degrees of hotness..so naturally we go with the hottest degree for which we had to sign a waiver! The wings were as good as they were hot! 2 burgers 10 wings. You must visit this place! Great service!

This is a real neighborhood treasure, that has been kept secret too long!
Excellent burgers, delicious fries and a great atmosphere from the locals who love it. You could only find this type of local restaurant with so much to offer in San Pedro. Nowhere else in LA would have the community spirit that comes from four generations of European fishermen and their families all staying in the same area.

This place is really like 2.5 stars but I'll be generous and bump it up to 3.  The seating is really small so if you wanted to actually sit down and eat during a busy time you would be out of luck.

Today was a bad day for them as their credit card machine was down and they were having other electrical issues that were being worked on while we were there.

We had the zucchini, a turkey burger and a BLT sandwich.  All three were pretty good and at a fair price.  This place is old and has obviously been there for awhile.  It's just your average, ordinary, around the corner burger joint that is nothing special at all...except that they have some exotic hamburgers (kangaroo, alligator, buffalo, and ostrich) but they would not be something that I would want to try.

If I lived closer I would probably eat here again but I won't be going out of my way to come back.

Been here many times; have never tried the wings.   I've tried most of their exotic burgers, and my favorite is the cevapcici burger.   Every so often they tend to overcook the burgers.  A small side of fries is enough for two people to share.  They have 4 or 5 different beers on draft.

Sometimes the service is slow and sometimes the wait for the food is long.  Last night, it was the wait for the food.   At the time our order was placed, there was only one other table of 2 people, but it took almost 20 mintues for our burgers to arrive.  Perhaps they had to chase down the ostrich for my gf's burger.

All in all, it's a fun, inexpensive place to grab a bite to eat.

I used to adore this place. For the last few years, it has been getting worse and worse. "HOT" is well hot. I am not going to B.S. you though, sometimes when you order wings, they will be hotter than expected OR SO MILD YOUR 7 year-old enjoys them more than you do. They make killer burgers though, that is why they got two stars. Other than that, thank you, 710 Grille for serving us dried out, marrow showing wings. Next time, I will just go to WING STREET, their "HOT" is hot no matter what.
OH YES, I ALMOST FORGOT...went their for breakfast once...never again. It took 40 minutes for pancakes. FML.
Small-ish inside but, you are better eating there than you are taking it home bc if your food sucks, you can't hand it back to them.

Do not coming here looking for a 'quick bite' because there is no such thing as quick service here, which for me is part of the charm.

My husband and I usually order at least one pitcher of beer (OMG it's super cheap), sit back, watch the TVs and enjoy the loud bustle of the tiny diner.

We have ordered a lot of different items on the menu so far and have been severely impressed at the great taste everything has. My favorite is the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. My mouth is salivating just writing those words. My husband is a hot wing fanatic and LOVES their wings. There's a reason they won best wings in LA for a few years now.

Another great honorable mention is their chile verde - either in a bowl with chips or in a burrito. It's got some massive kick and tastes amazing.

    Hope you enjoy!

I just heard about this place recently and drove down from the westside last week just to try the hotwings.

The wings that they serve are higher quality than most places you'll find.  It's white and chunky, as opposed to the gray and stringy chicken many bars serve.  There were very few black veins in the meat, which is a huge plus for me.  They were right out of the fryer and the skin was fresh and crispy, while the meat was still tender and juicy.  There was that tiny, almost unnoticeable separation between the skin and the meat that indicates the perfect amount of frying time.

The sauce was pretty tart (I ordered the regular hot), but also very tasty.  It looked as though they drizzled the sauce on the wings rather than dunking the wings in the sauce.  I prefer dunking, since some of the wings didn't have enough sauce.  That's a small issue though, and doesn't take away from the fact that these are some of the best wings in LA.

Overall, served with excellent fries, this was a very good experience.  The people running the place could not have been nicer or more down-to-earth.  The decor is unpretentious and the whole place is super clean.  Worth a trip to San Pedro if you're looking for above average wings.

The hot-wings is what keeps me coming back!!'  the onion rings are ok... Not the best... Service was a bit slow but well worth the wait(for the wings) I did some take out on the wings...won't do that again... Ordered the 30 piece and received about 20... They were also soggy after only about 15 min

I have driven by this place numerous times and never noticed it, but the great Yelp reviews convinced me to check it out. People are usually surprised to find I am a huge chicken wing fan because, in their words, I seem too prissy to enjoy the common wing. But I can throw down wings with the best of them, and these are damn fine wings - very big, juicy and meaty! We ordered them "spicy" and they packed just the right amount of heat. A small side of fries was more than enough to feed two people, and the cut was nice and thick. (I hate skinny fries!)

Hub had some Croatian lamb sausage appetitzer that wasn't my thing, but he thoroughly enjoyed it.

    We'll be back!

Sometimes, the service here can be sloooooow.  Also, it tends to be filled with noisy sports fans.

    HOWEVER.

These burgers are so unbelievably tasty. The Chevapchichi is completely awesomely delicious.  Also, they make a righteous bacon cheeseburger.  Get the real cheddar cheese,,,make you wanna slap someone.

I've had the fried macaroni, and it was good but not damn good.  Also, I've eaten the 'ring of fire' wings.  Tasty wings, but not the best I've ever had.  Also, they were very very hot, but not excruciating like I'd expected them to be (I do have a high tolerance, however).  Tasted the alligator, and it was a little dry.  Tasted the buffalo, and it was delicious and gamey.  This place is good and cheap, too.  Give it a shot, you won't be sorry.

Surely a small whole in the wall in a cute little neighborhood. overall, the  food was reasonably priced.

we ordered their fried zucchini, hot wings in "sissy" and an ostrich burger.  Zucchini was very yummy, but i would prefer it a little less oily and greasy.  the wings was pretty good, but i had better elsewhere.  I can't take spicy very well, "sissy" is without a question what i ordered. that makes me wonder on their Fire Scale, what 10 would taste like! Ostrich burger was not that impressive, the meat was not too dry, but the burger itself wasn't very juicy.  i had to dip it in my ketchup and ranch.

the likelihood of coming back for me is slim, only if i am in the area and if there's noting else i want to eat. but it was worth the experience.

Friendly little place with ample street parking. We tried the ostrich burger which was quite dry and the kangaroo burger was tasty yet both were doused in sauce.
I was impressed that the milkshakes are made from häagen-dazs ice cream but the final product was kind of thin and disappointing.

Kudos for the exotic meat burgers. That's about it.

I recently stumbled upon this hole in the wall place and I'm glad I did. It's pretty small. It can seat about 20 people or so. Anyways, I ordered the cheeseburger combo (burger, fries and drink-about $8.50) and my friend got the chili dog.

The chili dog was solid. Good chili. No beans (I hate beans in chili dogs). Good amount of cheese. Not great but pretty good chili dog.

My burger was good. Good amount of meat and the bun was cooked to a nice crisp. Once again, not the best but very solid.

The menu sounds very exotic, but the food did not meet our expectation.  We had the kangaroo burger, alligator burger, and the ostrich burger.  The kangaroo burger was soo greasy and it tasted so gamey, the alligator burger was dry like a cardboard.  The ostrich burger was ok, maybe we should have sticked with something more normal.

We also got chicken wings with "sissy" spiciness, and our lips were inflamed and swollen for the next 2 hours.

This is a little neighborhood joint that has nice tv's for catching games. Its known for its wings which were awesome. I tried the first spicy level because I'm a wuss.
The burgers were good, my boyfriend got the bacon burger- delicious.
I felt like being exotic and ordered the ostrich which was also yummy.
I've been here a couple of times and the service may be a little slow but always friendly.

Best spicy wings. This place hits the spot. With a scale from Sissy to Sign a Disclaimer this place should be on Man vs. Food!  Great place to go to watch a game or order to-go and enjoy your wings at home. The food is always fresh and great burger and fries --this is not just a wing joint. It's locally owned and they support the community. This is a definite local pick!

7 10 Grille is a great place to go if you're in the mood for chicken wings.  In this culinary arena, 7 10 can't be beat.  Several other items on the menu are above mediocre, with the various burgers and appetizers worthy of an honorable mention.

My standard order is a 20-piece "sissy" basket of wings.  At 7 10, the spiciness of the wing sauce definitely outpaces the description on the scale..."sissy" sauce is my threshold of heat before the experience becomes more painful than delicious.  Each order comes with the standard  carrots and celery, as well as your choice of ranch or bleu cheese dressing.  Top these wings off with a beer or ice-cold water, and you have yourself one high-quality meal.  After 7 10's wings, I find myself disappointed with any other business's product.

Bottom line: 3 of 5 stars for the regular menu items as a whole.

5 of 5 stars for the wings, ambiance, and convenience!

A string of great reviews for this place is no surprise to me after my visit here this morning.
I was searching for a spot to have a quick breakfast and this little diner looked like a good candidate.  But when they told me they don't serve breakfast, I left.....with a take-out menu in hand for future reference.  I glanced at the menu as I walked to my car, spotted the words "quarter-pound, all beef kosher hot dog" and turned my feets around and went back.
As I entered the tiny dining room, I announced to the only server, "To hell with breakfast!"  It was one of those creepy moments when everyone in the room stopped talking exactly as the words left my mouth, so that my announcement boomed as if from a loudspeaker into the silence......
    dangit......
There were a few guys sitting around drinking beer (in the morning), who all turned to stare at me.
My hot dog breakfast was off to a dandy start.

I chose a table in a far corner, needless to say, and tried to hide behind the menu.  This place has about 10 tables, see my photo.  It also has 2 flat screen TVs and serves draft beer.  I think I counted 6 different beers on tap.

So....is it a diner or a sports bar?  Both, apparently.  And the real surprise came when I perused the menu:
salads, sandwiches, a few Mexican selections, dogs, burgers......wait......Kangaroo Burger, Ostrich Burger, Buffalo Burger, Alligator Burger......can this be for real?
Under Alligator Burger, it said Not from Harbor Park!   hahahaha
However one of the cooks was wearing a tee that said Reggie burger.....OMG.
    (What, no donkey burger?)

Then, on the menu beneath the burger section was the Wings section, complete with Fire Scale.  I'm not touching those things, I hate hot food!
But if I did like it hot, 710 boasts being the 2007 winner of the Best Hot Wings in LA, according to Fox 11's hot list.

Well.  My hot dog sounded a bit boring after reading all that, but I ordered it anyway.  With chili, cheese & onion.  Go for broke, it's New Year's Eve baby!
See the pic of my dawg.  My server brought me a steak knife & a fork and said, "You're gonna need these."
    Yup.

So it was not the best dog a Chicago girl has ever had, not by a long shot.  But for LA, it was decent.  I was told the dog was Hebrew National & the bun was from Polly Ann Bakery around the corner.  It was just a junky white bread bun, but it did toast up nicely. The chili was OK too, maybe not homemade, I'm not sure, forgot to ask.

My server was sweet and chatty.  Everyone knew everybody else in 710 Grille.
Crikey I was back in Mayberry.
First I was in Mayberry El Segundo at Wendy's, and  now I had landed in Mayberry San Pedro.
The view out the front window of the restaurant was of a residential yard across the street complete with colorful trees.

The piece d'resistance:  the napkins.  Get your own from the roll of paper towels mounted on a shelf next to each table.

My dawg was 5 bucks.  They also got Haagen Dazs shakes and root beer floats.  Next time I'm getting a burger, but not a Reggie burger.  The burgers really looked good.

The song in my head as I walked to my car was from Tony Joe White:
"Poke salad Annie, the gators got your granny ........."

    lalalalalalalala   : D

Happy New Year!!   Here's lookin' at ya, twenty-oh-nine!
