This place is the answer to my lifelong question of "How hard is it to do a reasonably priced motel?"

I mean, how hard is it? You need the basics: a good comfortable bed with nice linens, a TV, some little amenities like a fridge and A/C and a pool, and that's pretty much it. And it shouldn't cost a fortune.

This place has that. We arrived very late for our check in and were so happy find that our room was clean and cute, with updated plumbing fixtures, a nice bed, and a view of the little inner gated garden area where there is a fountain and the swimming pool. And the reception area is done up so cute with retro styled furniture and lighting.

I can't tell you how many dumps we've stayed in for the same price. This place is how you do it, people. Are you listening, Day's Inn, Super 8, etc?

Oh and they take pets for an extra fee. Well worth it.

Excellent deal for what you paid for.  Spacious rooms and newly rennovated looking except for the TV which is an older non-flat screen kind of 24"-er.

There are two cozy pools along with a jacuzzi outside.  Perfect for nights of star gazing.

It is around 10 blocks from downtown where all the action and fun is.  The staff is friendly and sincere.  The bathroom has ventilation issues and the shower is uncomfortably shaped in an odd of square, slanted cut edge fashion.  Plus, the soap and shampoos aren't the most desireable.

I thought the beds were comfortable and although the air conditioning was louder than preferred, it didn't get in the way of my sleeping.

I'd definitely stay here again because of the price and overall service.

If you have a non-suite room, you'll be disappointed that it doesn't have a desk if you need to work on your your laptop.

But wi fi is free and that makes this place convenient too.

Was in Palm Springs for the annual 'Beat the Heat' softball tournament, quite honestly, although the tournament commenced at night through the weee hours of the morning, it was still extremely hot. It's ideal to look for a place that is comfortable, nearby a pool and with a great A/C system. Usually, I like to make my own reservations for places, and before doing so, I like to check it out through reviews...ha ha ha yes through http://yelp.com of course.

My brother recommended this place... He's mister big time budget/ save a penny/ budget type guy, nothing wrong with that, but sometimes he may go a little overboard. LOL But, took my brothers word on it and booked reservations to this hotel.

Upon arriving its like 'WTF?' from the outside. Believe me, this place is absolutely gorgeous once you set food inside the property. The rooms are amazing, beds are comfortable, absolutely exceeded my expectations. If you ever watched the movie Harold & Kumar leave Guantanamo Bay, recall the scene where they go this country boy's home, but one they set foot inside its like contemporary state of the art stuff. The hotel is like this!

I would definitely make reservations to come back to this hotel! Total top notch!

A+++

7 Springs Inn was our haven from the desert heat! Found a good price for this place via http://expedia.com [under $70]. It's close to the downtown area; the exterior is very unassuming and almost easy to miss, but the interior courtyard, pool and rooms are very cool - you'll be surrounded by a modern aesthetic!

We had no complaints towards the management or neighbors  - our bed was a little TOO soft and a good night's sleep wasn't really had. We ran into my bf's friends and they say that they stay at 7 Springs Inn every time they vacation in Palm Springs - I think we'd be doing the same.

I would recommend this place if you are looking for an inexpensive, kitchenette, pet friendly kind of hotel. 3 of us & a dog stayed in their King Parlor Suite which had a large room with a king bed, sitting area, and also a kitchenette & small room with a double bed.. There is no central air, just a wall unit, but it does it's job (except for the private bedroom-no air there-they really should put in a wall unit). The bathroom-2 thumbs down. It seemed to be a former closet and was the tiniest I have ever seen. Minimal counter space, regular tub with a bad shower. The toilet is barely squeezed between the 2. Bad situation for 3 women! Apparently, this is the biggest room to be had so maybe the other rooms have better bathrooms. Our room overlooked the large jacuzzi & we used it almost every night, cool & refreshing.  The hotel is about a mile from downtown and is a nice stroll unless it's over 90 degrees outside. (We walked it anyway). As far as the hotel decor, you will be disappointed if you are expecting Mid Century Modern-the lobby is definitely decked out in cool retro furnishings but our suite was not-in fact, the kitchenette and smaller bedroom were so minimal and plain they didn't look complete. They do have free parking but not enough of it & one night we had to park a couple blocks away on the street.  All in all,  I would go back because of the price, location, and because it is not a big, packed resort.

Was looking for something slightly more upscale than a motel, but not a budget killer for a 1 night stay.  This place was a surprising find in a desert full of high-priced hotel rooms.  You'll find a number of places in Palm Springs that require a 2-night stay to book a weekend stay, but not this place, which makes it even better.  Great bang for the buck.

Pros:
WIth a rate of $112, we were able to get one of the rooms with a queen bed and jacuzzi.  Nice remodeled decor.  Nice bathroom and shower head.  Nice comfy bed and pillows.  Even a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and cd player.  Great deal for a nice room.

Cons:
Being next to the street, you could hear some of the noisier traffic through the small windows in the bathroom.  Also the windows and glass door were facing the west so made it hard to sleep in after a late night out.  Recommend you ask for a room away from the street if you mind the noise and/or sun in the morning.  Also the A/C is old-school so it can be a little noisy.  Parking can be tough if it's busy as there doesn't seem to be enough parking for all the guests.

Summer in the desert!

7 Springs is great! I stay in room 119 every time Im in town. King bed, couch, entertainment center with stereo, DVD and TV (they need to get better cable service), plus a full size kitchen and a back private patio...

Summer prices are under $60 for this suite!

The pool is small like an apartment size pool. People are nice enough and folks seem to leave the kids at home so its much more quiet than a bigger place.

Never a bad experience although, this isnt really a bad thing, the couples that have been in the adjoining room 120 have awoken me with great sounding rough and tumble morning time fun. nice going in the desert!

I wanted a hotel in Palm Springs for me, my man and my dog and found this great spot which is way better than the dog-accommodating Motel 6.  The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the view of the mountains from the room was stunning.  And my dog Pepper was happy!   The place has obviously been remodeled within the past year, as the interiors of the hotel seemed new and clean.  The prices have also seemed to have gone up, but well worth it for a comfortable night's sleep.
Tip: Check out the website http://www.Palmsprings... for more details on the hotel and ask for the "http://Palmsprings.com special rate" for a discount when booking a room.

Ahhhhh, dreamy.

The perfect place for a little girls gone wild (can you say lobster mashed potatoes, pitchers of martini's, bottles of Rose, skinny dipping fag-hags swimming in the pool with a hound dog & chiwauwa, and a cartoon of cigarettes?). Especially during the weekend of the White Party. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. We had a king suite. Our room was huge, the bed was lush and we had a kitchenette to store an ample supply of alcoholic beverages for the weekend. This property is dog friendly, walking distance (if you must) to Copleys & Koffi, 2 pools, and hot tub. No room service or restaurant so bring your own provisions or hit Jensen's before you arrive.  The crowd was ??? How shall we say --- an interesting array. You may get Lim Bisquit pretending he is not gay (we saw you come back Sunday morning skathily clad in white) trying to steal the patio seats, that CLEARLY belong to the King Suite and serve as the official smoking & drinking section of this room; You may also get a rude Israeli child, who, thinks it's funny to splash you in the pool --- who's mother giggles every time he splashes you until you turn and HISS at both of them; and of course there is always a batchlorette party, who, you want to take the penis straws from their drinks and shove down their throats so they SHUT UP and steal their pitchers of strawberry margaritas.

This is a great value if you can't afford the Parker (my home, away from home). Hopefully the clientele will be better next time.

So here's the scoop about this place....listed below in Pros v. Cons
Pros
-Great Value.  Our room was huge (basically a suite with full kitchen and full lounge area) at only around $55/night.
-Free Parking.  I hate it when hotels charge you for parking.
-Decent Location.  Pretty close to the main street - Palm Canyon Rd.

Cons
-Dirty Underwear found in closet!!!!  Apparently, housekeeping missed a couple things when cleaning our room....such as someone's very dirty laundry in our closet!!!!
-Construction workers.  I guess they are renovating their rooms and there's construction happening all around the hotel.  The downside to that is when you're laying out by the pool....construction workers can check you out and stare at you in your bikini.  This does not make for a relaxing experience, believe me.
-Broken phone in the room.  Our room phone was broken which the front desk knew about but I guess forgot to mention.
-No central A/C.  In a place where the high is 120 and the low is 100, I think central A/C is quite necessary.  7 Springs has A/C units which might be ok for normal climates but not quite for hellish heat.
-Front Desk, not helpful.  The guys there kinda seemed weird and not into helping you that much.

Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a good deal - but you do kinda get what you pay for since they were a quite a bit of issues with the place.
