7 springs is so perfectly palm springs.  Amazing price value, front desk staff Luz was amazing.  She went well above and beyond to recommend and direct us to get running, dining and shopping.  All with a genuine smile.
Hotel and hot tub were very nice, lots of young children which is fine, but noisy.
My group of 3 in 3 rooms, all enjoyed their stay.  We all would come back!

What ppl need to understand about the 7 Springs INN? it's not about the customer service you will NOT BE receiving.   I have stayed at this place so many times I almost kno the Maids by name.

1st off they are not friendly at the front desk majority of the time.  Since this is a budget hotel they usually get a lot of ROWDY youngsters who like to PARTY, be loud & Rude!  So by the time u chk in they are just not so friendly.  ( NO EXCUSE )

If you are not happy with your room they will move you to another one. ( they always offer me free upgrades ) honestly I'm happy with the partial kitchen. $50-$60 a night thru HOTELS.COM

however,  they are changing things here.  Remolding all the rooms, getting rid of Grandma's bedspread, bringing in Plasma screen TVs. etc........ I hope they don't increase the PRICES! I have grown to appreciate this hotel which was formerly APT's.

hence the stove, full size refrigerator's, small kitchens in the rooms. ( with everything you will need pots, silverware, dishes, cooking utensils,  LARGE rooms, if you want some sort of Privacy request a queen by the large Pool.  The walls are thin and you will be able to hear everything I mean EVERYTHING!!!!

they also have a washer/dryer, vending machine if you don't want to eat out you can go to Trader Joe's stock up and cook.  I have seen in some reviews ppl are complaining about the parking.  I honestly never had a problem getting a park.   I also don't go to hotels during popular times.  ( off season is always the best )

bottom line: this is a great place for your money, it's a home away from home.  Most places don't have all the amenities like 7 springs.  Give it a chance it's not the 4 Seasons it will do the job. At night I find the waterfall so peacefull, plus you get a view of the mountains

They never answer their phones.  The front office actually closes at night and doesn't re-open till 7am, which is bullshit.  If you call at 7am to about 7:45am no one will answer your calls.  The chick Jennifer at the front desk is a complete dumb shit, worst hotel front desk person I've ever dealt with.  They still have box tv's; complete pieces of shit.  No parking, you actually have to park in the neighborhoods or park illegally to be reasonably close to this piece of shit hotel.  I stayed in the parlor sweet and it was ok except for the shitty box tv.  I transferred over to the ghetto side the last two nights of my stay next to the jacuzzi and wished I never made that mistake.  Super-duper shitty rooms, hard ass beds and weird paintings on the wall.  Plus old people in the jacuzzi till midnight talking about stupid shit non stop, it sounded like they were right in my room with their geezer talk.   I almost yelled at them to shut the fuck up.  Trust me and don't stay at this piece of shit hotel unless you like shitty hotels then I would totally recommend this shit hole.
P.S.  They charged my card 50 dollars for what I don't know and refuse to refund it.  Worst, most unprofessional customer service I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with some complete fuck tards but these fuck tards take the cake.
    FUCK THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have stayed at the 7 Spings Inn twice. The first time was great. The only bad thing is the parking kinda sucks. However the second time was a little bit odd. Our room was small (225). Tucked back in a corner. No big deal. It was clean. Nice flat screen TV. The bed was super comfortable. The kicker was when we got back in from the jacuzzi and went to take a shower I noticed that the shower had only one glass door. HUH!!! At first I though I was crazy but after looking very closely yeap it was gone. Very weird. You would think the maid would notice.....no. We called down to the front desk and the guy didn't understand what we were talking about. Upon checking out the next day the girl asked how our stay was. I replyed "Great except for out shower was missing a door." She looked at me as if I was crazy. HOW THE HELL DO YOU NOT KNOW A SHOWER DOOR IS MISSING!!!!! Come on!

Because I gag on the thought of staying in a room with flower prints bed spread, something that I wouldn't want to look at under an ultraviolet light, any place that doesn't offer that gets my bonus points. Despite the lack of light, the room does feel clean and roomy. Bed was plushy, WiFi was free and fast.

I read about the parking before I booked and it's worth pointing out again: not enough parking if it's busy, i.e. holiday weekend. It didn't bother me that I had to park in the farthest lot because it felt really safe there. Don't worry if you have to walk a bit or even had to park on the street. We walked to the main strip from the hotel anyway.

Now, the negatives: The sink doesn't have space to put any of your beauty supplies and toiletries; and the tub drains very poorly. It drives me nuts when I have to stand in dirty water while the rest of body is 'clean'... Oh, and the toilet handle (kinda) broke. They didn't have the maintenance crew until the morning, so we had to flush with a very gentle touch. The guy at the front desk was very apologetic about it. Since they were full that night he couldn't offer us a different one, but he did gave us some candies and pop corns. That was sweet.

Afterall, we got a last minute $90 deal on a holiday weekend and we thought we had a steal. I really didn't expect much. If the room was over $150 I'd have given it 2.5-3 stars but you really have to be realistic and take the price tag into consideration.

    Pros:
    Very close to main street.
    Good prices.
Acceptable rooms (not great but acceptable).
Suites come with jacuzzi not big but enough for two people, very relaxing.

    Cons:
    Very thin walls, annoying.
Glass doors with blinds that do not block the light.
    Small pool.
    No enough parking.
Terrible Internet service, I couldn't connect at all during my two day stayed.
    Non existence customer service.
    Poor quality towels.

    I would not return here.

So I once again find myself at the fabulous 7 Springs Inn & Suites...I have just recently moved to Palm Springs and have yet to find an apartment. Shayna Barrs, guest service agent extraordinaire, has consistently been extremely helpful and accommodating to my precarious situation. So much so, that my husband and I may even stay the rest of month! The entire staff has been a dream to work with and the rooms are always clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a fabulous location, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. My favorite hotel and staff of all time!!

Small hotel, reminds me of Melrose place. Missing the shower door which made for a slippery dangerous bathroom floor. Moldy smell when we got in the room. Big outdoor public jacuzzi which was great & no one was in it on Friday nt when we checked in. Friendly front desk staff. Comfy bed but pillows weren't the best. Small pool but quaint. Only a couple other people were there on sat afternoon. Within walking distance of the main drag with lots if restaurants & shopping. Way too overpriced!

Spent 5 nights here. All other reviewers love the prices and nit pick everything else. My I suggest they stay at the JW Marriott Resort in town. Nothing to nit pick over but their Visa bill.

I found the 7 Springs to be great value for the price. Large very clean rooms, newer clean carpets, comfortable beds and pillows with down comforter, newly remodeled baths with pedestal sinks and marble floors and shower enclosures. Large closet with safe. Lovely landscaping. Close to towns action spots.Actually nicer than ACE Hotel.

If they charged $200-300 a night I could post a laundry list of complaints. They didn't charge $200-300 a night, so I have no complaints. As I always say, "Cheap sleeps, good eats!!!"

We got a full kitchen and nice room for the price of many "bargain" hotels. My two young kids and I were dying to spend a day by the pool after camping at Joshua Tree. It was great! Walkable to downtown, and more importantly near Woody's Burgers, it was perfect for us.

This is my getaway place to come a chill from the pollution and noise of LA. I have been coming here for 4 years now and I never thought about giving them a review...well better late than never.

I always rent the KING suite with full kitchen. I have stayed in many hotels and resorts in Palm Springs for work On the clients dime but this is the one I choose when it is my dime. Always under $100 if you can find the right week to go there and always clean. The people that choose to stay at this hotel are always friendly and we always meet people from all over the world in the pool. I stress this is not a hotel if you want all the bells and whistles. NO room service....no fancy bar....no fancy pool DJ .....But NO DRAMA, NO HASSLE and NO BIG CROWDS.....as a matter of fact don't come because I want to keep it my secret place.....lol.

I stay here with my friends every year to celebrate their anniversary. When you drive up, the place seems tiny and awkward. The lobby seems like a futuristic throw back (not even sure that makes sense lol) but plastic furniture.

The rooms are REALLY a nice surprise to what you encounter in the lobby. Beds are really comfortable. Rooms are up to date.

Pool area is kinda small but we seem to go when there aren't any crowds yet. The spa is HUGE.

The only confusing part is the website says dogs are allowed but when you go and talk to them in person they tell you it's their other location but the website doesn't differentiate between the two locations.

Definitely a fan. 7 Springs Inn & Suites is a funky boutique hotel in the heart of Palm Springs. It has around 50 rooms, is a smaller property. The lobby is quirky. Our room was fantastic for the money. We had a full kitchen, with a full gas range (yes gas!) including an oven, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen table, chairs. The bathroom was nice. Clearly older (like the whole property) but also clear money invested for modernization. Funky? Think colors in the room like green, and purple, and thought bubbles on the walls. The bed was comfortable, could use newer or firmer pillows but that is my preference.

Was it all good? Nope. The pools are small (well the second jacuzzi is massive) but ehhh, I think it adds to the charm of the property. No restaurant, parking SUCKS, and there were a couple of spots in the room where touch up was needed (paint). The staff tries, but there is a bit of an attitude at the front desk. I know people have complained about thin walls. I live in a very, very quiet area and sleep lightly. I could hear traffic noise, especially in the bathroom but it wasn't enough to keep me awake at night or bother me. Again, your mileage may vary.

For the money ($55 to $90 a day) you can stay at far, far, FAR, worse places than here in the Palm Springs area. I mean places where you will pay more and likely be sleeping with the bed bugs, if you're lucky.

I was in room 110 - I would strongly recommend, especially if you want to use the pool.

    Deluxe Room - Queen @ $89.00 USD

Stayed in Room # 109, located on the first floor between the office and the pool. The room was fantastic! The bed was great (clean sheets & soft bed). There was a bed stand on each side of the bed with their own lamps. The room had a microwave & mini refrigerator. In addition to the TV, there was a DVD player provided. Double glass sliding closet. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board were located in the closet. The bathroom was spacious. No bathtub, just a standing shower. Clean towels. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion were provided in the restroom. Free Wi-Fi (excellent signal!).

One slight negative thing about this place is that there is limited parking. Ended up parking across the way in the residential area.

This place is horrible, I would have given it a 0 if I could!! Came here for a family vacation for fourth of july and let me tell you, i was miserable staying here! We rented two rooms for 7 people and ended up cramping in one because the AC was not working in the other! REALLY?!? At a place where it is expected to have heat waves?!? My uncle ended up sleeping on the floor, my brother on a small couch, while my other brother, sister, and I slept sideways on the bed. SO RIDICULOUS! My mom, dad, and I complained on behalf of my family, but there were no Managers available to resolve the matter. Seriously at a time like this there should be emergency maintenance and managers to take care of situations such as this. The next day when we asked for the general manager, who was supposed to be in, wasn't working. WOW!

Furthermore, there was a hole in a wall inside the closet of the room that we didn't stay at, very unprofessional! Parking was also really bad, there is very little space for so many rooms. There was an ice maker, but it wasn't doing what it was intended for, so we had to buy our own ice.

I have never given a 1 star review, but from my experience, I just had to warn others. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but considering how miserable we were, my family and I just left the second night right after the fireworks. I don't recommend anyone to stay here! Try the other hotels around if you want to enjoy your vacation at Palm Springs!

7 Springs. Welcome home. At least, if you live in a funky, retro-sort of pad with surly staff. Well, I guess if you have staff at your home, you're doing okay!

We stayed at 7 Springs last week after a long jaunt in the park, hoping to find a comfortable bit of respite in this ridiculous city (did I just say that? Yes, I did! Palm Springs is RIDICULOUS! Like, tacky, strange ridiculous, not really in a bad way). We had reserved the queen room with a jacuzzi to soothe our tired muscles after a day of hiking.

We checked in, everything went smoothly enough, not particularly friendly, but, I'm not on vacation to make friends (except maybe of the canine or ocean variety, zoological would be fine as well).

We went ahead and dumped our bags in our room and headed out to a late dinner (see the review for "Blue Coyote", yikes...).

We noticed something smelled a little strange in the room when we set our stuff down, like a little damp or something, figured it was the air conditioner. So we return about an hour later, and the room is FLOODED! No kidding! We hadn't noticed before because we had our shoes on the whole time. Luckily, for some strange reason, I had decided to put the electronics on the stone part of the floor, it just seemed like a better idea at the time, though I had no clue as to why. That's why!

So, the entire room and floor is sopping wet. I go back to the office to explain that we won't be able to stay in a flooded room. The clerk (nice enough, if a bit blasé) says that the guy in the room next to us left the jacuzzi on earlier that day and left and flooded his room, so it must be from that. All of this is fine, but I would think that since we didn't check in until like 9:00 that they would have checked if our room was flooded as well (IT WAS!).

They didn't have any jacuzzi rooms left, so they set us up in a different unit, a nice room, just not what we had paid for, hoped for, or expected. No jacuzzi this time. I asked if we could get the extra amount that we paid for the jacuzzi room credited back to the card since we didn't get to stay in the room that we paid for; the clerk said we'd have to ask the manager in the morning. He was pseudo-apologetic, I mean, hey, it's not like it was his fault, but clearly didn't really care about the situation.

In the morning (slept great, comfy bed) we went to check out and asked the manager (another guy about the same age and demeanor) about the refund for the jacuzzi rate because our room was flooded. He said that the rate we paid was their lowest rate, so too bad about no jacuzzi because of the flooding. I was kinda shocked, after working in hotels, that he just blew it off. Kinda crazy. So I guess the regular room rate is the same as getting one with a jacuzzi? BS. Oh well. I didn't feel like arguing about it, plus, it was a comfy night for a decent price. Whatever. Just be aware, you might not get what you pay for.

Overall, it was a really clean, comfy place. I was a little pissed about the flood thing and the jacuzzi thing. Thank goodness it didn't ruin any of our stuff or I might have had to spend more time writing this review.

    Thanks for listening!

I was a contestant in Miss California USA 2012 earlier in January.  A couple of contestants, also from the L.A. area, and I decided to get a room here so that we didn't have to drive in from L.A. the day of check in.  I originally reserved single with a king size bed because I was unaware the other ladies were coming.  I spent lots of time on the phone with http://CheapHotels.com prior to check in to attempt to fix the reservation to a double, but had no luck-just the run-a-round.  It was very late when we all arrived for check in.   Shanna, the young woman working at the front desk check in was very helpful.  She quickly upgraded us to a suite for the 3 of us, for just $50 additional to what we had paid on the booking engine. The suite was very adorable.  If I ever go back to Palm Springs, I would definitely stay there again!  They had a nice hot tub...

The 7 Springs Inn & Suites is an adorable little boutique hotel located very close to downtown Palm Springs. Recently renovated, this little hotel offers excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a decent hotel in Palm Springs but don't want to spend a fortune, I would absolutely recommend the 7 Springs. I found this place to be absolutely charming. A great little find!

When we arrived, we liked this place right away. The lobby is decorated in that classic Palm Springs midcentury modern way. The grounds and pool are simple but equally aesthetically pleasing. There's a little fountain in the courtyard and a kidney shaped hot tub. Great mountain views, too, and it's pretty quiet here, since you're a few blocks from the main drag.

Our room was a little small but we liked it; decorated very nicely, and the bed was very comfortable, decked out in soft linens. Oh, and there was a hot tub right in our bedroom (!). The shower had good water pressure, and there was a fridge in our room, which was much appreciated.

My only complaint is that parking is a bit difficult here. There is parking in the front and on the side of the building, but not much. When we got back to our hotel late at night, there were no spots left and we had to risk getting towed and parked in an adjacent parking lot.

Despite the parking, I thought this was a great hotel. So comfortable and relaxing and quaint. I slept like a baby in that big comfy bed. Just thinking about those soft linens right now I want to go back!

In sum, I thought the 7 Springs was completely charming. My husband was also impressed with this place, he also enjoyed our room and the hotel grounds.

Any hotel that would argue with a customer over a $8.00 charge shows poor customer service. The manager of 7 Springs Inn is arguing with the customer over this $8.00 "resort tax fee"  not only over the phone but also on yelp. I stayed here in Feb of 2010. At the time, I was without a pet so that wasn't an issue. We had a very nice stay, the beds were very very comfortable and the person working the desk was nice. I have to say the beds were just great.

I called to book a room this year, as I knew they were supposedly pet friendly and I had gotten a little dog last year. Alas, to my dismay, this little hotel is no longer accepting dogs :(  Really bummed out about it. The other thing that upset me is the price seems to have skyrocketed from this time last year. The rate I was quoted for the weekend nights of Fri and Saturday were 191.00 or 193.00 per night.

This is considered to be a small, low key inn and I thought the price would be 149.00 at the very most. I think we paid just shy of 120.00 per night last year at this time.

So, sadly I've had to find another pet friendly establishment for me and my little shih tzu mix. (who is a sweetheart by the way)

At $50 a night, I can think of dozens of less reputable lodging choices in the Palm Springs/Indio area.

I was in need of comfortable but affordable lodgings in the Indio area for a conference that I was attending.  I searched Yahoo! Travel for some tips.  I set my search parameters and 7 Springs was the top choice.

I browsed the pictures and was sold.  I loved the decor; modern retro.  Think Don Draper and Quantum of Solace.

When I checked in on the first night, I was greeted by a friendly front desk clerk.  The lobby, although small, was fabulously decorated.  7 Springs offers free Wifi, so I spent a few nights sitting in the lobby taking care of some projects.

My room was a single King.  The sheets were crisp, clean, and comfortable.  The closet provided 10 hangers, which was the perfect amount.  The bathroom was efficient but the shower head was a bit low.  Six inches higher would have been perfect.  Also, there wasn't enough counter space on or around the bathroom sink for all of my toiletries.

The room did come equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, iron, and a locking safe.  The television was a bit outdated but did the job.

There are two pools on the premises, with one doubling as a large hot tub.  The parking situation can get hairy, especially if the facility is completely booked.  Luckily it wasn't a problem during my stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel.  I will definitely stay here again the next time I attend a conference in the area.  It was very enjoyable.

    I like the way...

Amazing experience. I only paid $55 a night and was extremely surprised when i arrived. The outside of the hotel seemed a little iffy but once i got inside our room, that ALL changed. We had a full kitchen and the bed was soooooo comfy. All i wanted to do was sleep. i got back from the vacation 2 days ago and i am still dreaming about that bed. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Parking is kind of an issue but the staff allowed us to park in a non parking spot because there was nowhere else to park. Very nice and helpful. They answered all our questions and mentioned some good places to go out.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again!! Highly recommend!

setting: a retro type of theme that has been remodeled. nice and modern!

this is my third visit to this site, and i must say, it is going down hill. my first visit was great! second vist, okay. Third visit, meh.

Their supplies have been going down hill. The first time, a robe was supplied to us, which was great! But then they limited it to none. No more robes. Okayyyy.

And they COUNT their towels on a DAILY basis. REALLY? How annoying. I left one hanging in the closet. And later got a phone call that day saying that they are going to charge the missing towel. I told them that it was in the closet, wth? Then they asked to drop it outside of our room for the maid to pick up and to avoid getting charge. Also, beach towels are provided in front desk, and if you dont bring it back at the end of the day, it'll be $20 charge.

Internet sucks. This reminded me when I had internet for the first time in my life,... like NetZero. Lags, lags, lags. Our rooms were located in front of the office. So if anything, they need more modems/better upgrades, etc. I could barely check my email, that's how much it sucked.

Our towel rack was loose and was hanging. Gosh ghettoness. Brought it to the front desk attention, so that we wont get charge for it.

I mean, I understand if the business wanted to save money and not have to spend more money to replace these items. But pesting the guest at every little thing.

Gosh, I should pest back at them at every LITTLE thing. Such as "ohh, the towel rack is loose - it's gonna break. Oh, the internet sucks, i cannot watch netflix. Oh, the stairs to our room concrete is sharp and crooked. Oh, there's stains on the sofa. Oh, my key card keeps getting disactivated EACH DAY, for EACH CARD - oh, really? Magnetic problem huh? For each flippin day? And oh, the creamer/sugar packs for our coffee is OLD = one hard rock. And Oh, parking sucks, why cant you buy more property? or have a deal with the other hotels? Geez" wah wah wah. o.o

AND i got charged $10 for missing a towel from the room. OMG really? The maid did not pick up one towel the second day, since it was HANGING in the closet. Why is it in the closet? Hello? Cuz the towel rack sucked.

Upon checking out, the front desk said everything was okay and there was no charge. Behold, my credit card statement. Very annoyed customer, hassle to fix the problem.

I wont be coming back. Take my advice, go somewhere else. This is my THIRD TIME HERE. My first visit, i would give it a 4 star. Now.. It just gets worse and worse. = 1 star.

7 Springs Inn was our haven from the desert heat! Found a good price for this place via http://expedia.com [under $70]. It's close to the downtown area; the exterior is very unassuming and almost easy to miss, but the interior courtyard, pool and rooms are very cool - you'll be surrounded by a modern aesthetic!

We had no complaints towards the management or neighbors  - our bed was a little TOO soft and a good night's sleep wasn't really had. We ran into my bf's friends and they say that they stay at 7 Springs Inn every time they vacation in Palm Springs - I think we'd be doing the same.

This hotel had EVERYTHING that I wanted.  I mean EVERYTHING!!  We were traveling from Phoenix to LA area and just wanted a place to sleep that was inexpensive and safe.
My first impression tho- not so great.  The parking area looked a little sketchy, and I was already feeling the dread of staying at a run down third rate motel.  So I checked in and the front desk lady ( Luz)  was very friendly and all smiles.  I felt a little better.  We walked to the room and saw a cute little spiral staircase surronded by trees and vegitation,  that led up to our room.  THe staircase was for OUR ROOM ONLY!!  So that was nice- not having people traffic.  Our room had our own little patio that overlooked the pool and was surrounded by trees.  Nice right?  Very peacful and quiet.  So we go into the room.  They had a flat screen tv, always nice.  Bathroom was nice and clean.  Hotel room was nice and clean.  The beds were HEAVEN!  I slept like a baby.  When we checked out, no problems and Caroline was very friendly as well!!  (Don't you just love people who do their jobs with a smile and don't make you feel like you are bothering them. )

Pros- easy access from the I-10.  Only 5 minutes from freeway (and by the way if you are traveling west- get your gas around this area.  It is about 40 cents cheaper than anywhere else that direction!!)
    - Friendly staff
    - Quiet
    - Very comfortable beds!!
    - Clean!!
    - Reasonably priced!

Cons- I would not have liked parking in the back area.  We got a space right by the lobby so I felt better!

Thank you 7 SPRINGS!!  We will be back soon and look forward to our new "layover" hotel that has everything on our wish list!!   It is our own kind of Christmas when we find a hotel that makes traveling easier!

This place is the answer to my lifelong question of "How hard is it to do a reasonably priced motel?"

I mean, how hard is it? You need the basics: a good comfortable bed with nice linens, a TV, some little amenities like a fridge and A/C and a pool, and that's pretty much it. And it shouldn't cost a fortune.

This place has that. We arrived very late for our check in and were so happy find that our room was clean and cute, with updated plumbing fixtures, a nice bed, and a view of the little inner gated garden area where there is a fountain and the swimming pool. And the reception area is done up so cute with retro styled furniture and lighting.

I can't tell you how many dumps we've stayed in for the same price. This place is how you do it, people. Are you listening, Day's Inn, Super 8, etc?

Oh and they take pets for an extra fee. Well worth it.

Great bang for your buck!!! Mostly everything is newly renovated. So you get clean rooms, modern carpets/wallpaper/flooring, sheik marble shower and more, all for a very reasonable price.

King bedroom: I think all the beds face directly out the french doors. It's pretty cool. Most the rooms don't have just a single door, but there's french doors which makes you feel like you're staying at a nice resort.

Size: Perfect for 2. Although, I wish there was more counter space to set my things. There's a dark wood desk w/chair, armoire w/TV, two door mirrored closet (inside there's a safe, ironing board, extra toiletries, and hair dryer).

BED: Ohhh llaaa laaaa!!! Amazingly soft and cush! Right as you lay down, you start to doze off. Really!! It was remarkably comfortable and huge!! The pillows were just as soft.

Bathroom: Not very spacious, but perfect for two. The flooring was a nice light marble color and the shower itself had glass all around with a backdrop of black marble. And the walls inside the bathrooms have this nice textured wallpaper!!

Noise: We were on the 2nd floor and we didn't really hear much noise from our neighbors or from the pool area.

Service: The front desk ppl were also helpful and friendly. Anytime we asked for something, they were on top of it.

    THE NOT SO GREAT:
-Parking: It's pretty limited, but it's FREE. They DO NOT have their own parking garage. There's just parking on three sides of the building. Luckily, we always found a spot. FYI: You can park directly in front of the main entrance.
Pool: There's two, one for kids and one for everyone. The main pool wasn't that big and after seeing about 6 ppl in the pool, it didn't seem like we could really enjoy it. So, we never used it. FYI: But, I believe you can check out the other pools at the other hotels.
-Air conditioner: Man, does it get pretty loud! There were times I couldn't really hear the TV. But, it wasn't that bad. It would be nice though if they invested in a quieter a/c unit.

Would I come back?? I definitely would. Next time I'll probably bring a grill and bbq with some fam and friends.

    OHhh... and they're PET FRIENDLY!!

Excellent deal for what you paid for.  Spacious rooms and newly rennovated looking except for the TV which is an older non-flat screen kind of 24"-er.

There are two cozy pools along with a jacuzzi outside.  Perfect for nights of star gazing.

It is around 10 blocks from downtown where all the action and fun is.  The staff is friendly and sincere.  The bathroom has ventilation issues and the shower is uncomfortably shaped in an odd of square, slanted cut edge fashion.  Plus, the soap and shampoos aren't the most desireable.

I thought the beds were comfortable and although the air conditioning was louder than preferred, it didn't get in the way of my sleeping.

I'd definitely stay here again because of the price and overall service.

If you have a non-suite room, you'll be disappointed that it doesn't have a desk if you need to work on your your laptop.

But wi fi is free and that makes this place convenient too.

Was in Palm Springs for the annual 'Beat the Heat' softball tournament, quite honestly, although the tournament commenced at night through the weee hours of the morning, it was still extremely hot. It's ideal to look for a place that is comfortable, nearby a pool and with a great A/C system. Usually, I like to make my own reservations for places, and before doing so, I like to check it out through reviews...ha ha ha yes through http://yelp.com of course.

My brother recommended this place... He's mister big time budget/ save a penny/ budget type guy, nothing wrong with that, but sometimes he may go a little overboard. LOL But, took my brothers word on it and booked reservations to this hotel.

Upon arriving its like 'WTF?' from the outside. Believe me, this place is absolutely gorgeous once you set food inside the property. The rooms are amazing, beds are comfortable, absolutely exceeded my expectations. If you ever watched the movie Harold & Kumar leave Guantanamo Bay, recall the scene where they go this country boy's home, but one they set foot inside its like contemporary state of the art stuff. The hotel is like this!

I would definitely make reservations to come back to this hotel! Total top notch!

    A+++

    Summer in the desert!

7 Springs is great! I stay in room 119 every time Im in town. King bed, couch, entertainment center with stereo, DVD and TV (they need to get better cable service), plus a full size kitchen and a back private patio...

Summer prices are under $60 for this suite!

The pool is small like an apartment size pool. People are nice enough and folks seem to leave the kids at home so its much more quiet than a bigger place.

Never a bad experience although, this isnt really a bad thing, the couples that have been in the adjoining room 120 have awoken me with great sounding rough and tumble morning time fun. nice going in the desert!

I wanted a hotel in Palm Springs for me, my man and my dog and found this great spot which is way better than the dog-accommodating Motel 6.  The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the view of the mountains from the room was stunning.  And my dog Pepper was happy!   The place has obviously been remodeled within the past year, as the interiors of the hotel seemed new and clean.  The prices have also seemed to have gone up, but well worth it for a comfortable night's sleep.
Tip: Check out the website http://www.Palmsprings... for more details on the hotel and ask for the "http://Palmsprings.com special rate" for a discount when booking a room.

I stayed here for a weekend with my girlfriends and this place was fantastic.  I hate to judge a book by it's cover but after looking at their website, I was expecting it to be "meh".  Kind of divey but acceptable.  I've rocked in a Motel 8 before so I'd be alright.

I was incredibly pleasantly surprised as we checked in and made it back to our weekend townhouse - oh momma!  The reception area was super cute, our room was well-appointed, comfortable and had more amenities than I expected.  The grounds were nice and the pools were clean.   They even had charcoal grills by the jacuzzi in the back for guests to use, which I thought was pretty sweet.

There were 5 of staying in the 2 story townhouse (2 bathrooms, 1 king and 2 queen beds) and there was PLENTY of room for all of us to spread out and not be on top of each other.

The location was pretty good. Parking isn't ideal but it's not awful.  It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the mid-downtown area where the vibe picks up a bit or you can cab it for $8 with tip. Not bad.

The staff was nice, and even helped me with my obscure delivery problem - was supposed to get a shipment of medication overnighted to me which didn't pan out like it should have.  They assured me they'd do whatever it took to get it to me, even if it arrived after I went back home.  Peace of mind baby! Ya can't put a price on that.

Speaking of price, it was a great deal for our room.  The townhouse is a great option for a group stay; it ended up being about $85 per person for 2 nights.    I already can't wait to go back!

Was looking for something slightly more upscale than a motel, but not a budget killer for a 1 night stay.  This place was a surprising find in a desert full of high-priced hotel rooms.  You'll find a number of places in Palm Springs that require a 2-night stay to book a weekend stay, but not this place, which makes it even better.  Great bang for the buck.

    Pros:
WIth a rate of $112, we were able to get one of the rooms with a queen bed and jacuzzi.  Nice remodeled decor.  Nice bathroom and shower head.  Nice comfy bed and pillows.  Even a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and cd player.  Great deal for a nice room.

    Cons:
Being next to the street, you could hear some of the noisier traffic through the small windows in the bathroom.  Also the windows and glass door were facing the west so made it hard to sleep in after a late night out.  Recommend you ask for a room away from the street if you mind the noise and/or sun in the morning.  Also the A/C is old-school so it can be a little noisy.  Parking can be tough if it's busy as there doesn't seem to be enough parking for all the guests.

Goes well with the Palm Springs Retro style. Great place off the main st. Walking distance to shops, food and bars. The pool is quaint, too quaint when children are playing. There's a BBQ pit if you want to grill up your own food. The rooms are fairly large with a fridge.

Like others have noted, there are good and bad factors for this motel.  My first stay was so much better.  During this time, I experienced mostly bad. Traveling with my dog, I was placed in a corner room near the pool, okay.  My motel neighbor also had a dog, okay.  My motel neighbor was hard of hearing and had the television as loud as possible, not okay at all, the entire evening. The walls are rice paper thin. The room was clean I hope but the shower's black finish made me doubt that it had been well-scrubbed.
When I was ready to check out next morning, early around 6:45 am tthe office was closed. The newly posted sign on the door said the office opens at 7 am.   When front desk person arrived at 7:20, she opened the door and instead of promptly checking me out of my hotel room, she rushed off to get coffee.  Probably won't be a return customer. Location is good. Service is minimal.

The beds were SUPER comfy and the staff was very helpful, they allowed us to have out lil Bella hang poolside with us and of course she did not get in the water.. was was super happy just to hang out on the lounge chair. I cant wait to go back.. the price is great for the pup love they give and great service and wonderful rooms!

Trashy-ass crowd.  The room was OK, it wasn't really expensive so I didn't have high expectations.  The staff was friendly.  It was far away from most stuff that matters. Still I won't be staying here again.
