Great beer, Nice People, and a very relaxing atmosphere.

And another stop on our PNW beer tour, 7 Sea brewing in Gig Harbor. I actually lived in Gig Harbor for a short time and am familiar with the brews they make. Really inventive and tasty stuff. This particular time I had the Reign Man ESB, featuring citrusy Yakima Valley Centennial hops. Defiantly worth the stop and coming this summer they will have a new brewing facility and tap room downtown close to the water.

These guys and gals are doing everything they can to make sure you love their beer. Get it, it's about the beer...how refreshing!! Drink up to three beers then go home with a growler. It's not about the food, they dont sell any. Its not about the location, its next to the freeway, though I must say I really like the quaint tap room and the beer garden with fire barrels and mutant sized jenga games :-). The NW is full of micro/macro brew spots but this one, which is only three or so years old is special and worth supporting.

Love, love, love the beer! IPA fan here and its hoppy. Also the stout is very good. They have a seasonal CDA that is fantastic. Oh and did I mention the staff is the best!!! Love the ladies in the taproom:-) They have always been awesome to us and our dogs. This is a good place to take dogs thanks to the outdoor space (with heaters in the cooler months;-))

Small tasting room. Strong beer. Good prices. Unique place.
I don't live here but luckily my boyfriend found this place and took me here. I was definitely good on one glass of "Ballz Deep" (their strongest beer). We went at around 7:30 and there wasn't much room to walk around but whatever. I'll be back here when I come to visit again. -

This place is small and a challenge to find. Just know it's behind the Gig Harbor Inn, hiding from you. Look for the water tower and go park next to it.
Beer here is great. Huge fan of small micros and this place delivers. -
Review from Alison V.
This place is pretty awesome. I find myself in Gig Harbor quite often, as my boyfriend currently lives there, and there isn't exactly a ton to do. However, this place is a definite breath of fresh air. Look up directions before you go, unless you're super familiar with Gig Harbor. The brewery is tucked in the back of a hotel parking lot, but look for a fermenter and follow it!
There is ample parking here which is quite nice. The tap room itself is pretty small. I'd say about 15 people, max, would fit comfortably. However, don't let that stop you. If you find yourself in there on a crowded afternoon, expect people to make room and be more than willing to make new friends.
If you've never been here before, I suggest starting off with the sampler platter. You'll get 4 sample sizes, one of each of their beers. It's a great way to sample and see what you like. If you find one you enjoy, settle in enjoy a pint or several. If you really like the beer, get a growler filled and take one home to enjoy!Listed in: So you like to drink?, Kitsap

One of the few hidden gems in Gig Harbor. The beer is great, I personally recommend either the Ballz Deep Double IPA or the Port Royal Export Style Stout. The staff is awesome, and the patrons of this establishment are quite friendly as well. The minute you walk in you feel like part of the family. I expect these guys to expand rapidly, and make a definite name for themselves amongst the PNW's top brewers. I look forward to their tallboy's and extended taproom hours coming soon.
PS-To Mike, Travis and The Crew: Keep up the good work fellas! -

Gig Harbor, WA
A great micro brewery offering good beer and a fun atmosphere. Buy some of their canned beer or get a growler for the road.
Unless you're familiar with the area, be sure to get directions before you go. -

It's always great to support a local company, but even better to relate to the experience! The taproom is small, which allows for a cozy/intimate setting overlooking the brewery. Shannon was our barkeep and she took very good care of us. It's obvious there are solid relationships built between customers and staff here. I recommend the Summer Seasonal IPA and get a Growler while you're at it! Cheers!

The bar is tiny and crowded ~all the time, but the beers are good. Get a growler.

Would have no idea how to get to this gem if I was asked to get there again, but man I loved it. Friend took me and I was kind of spooked as to where we were going, dark alley, dark warehouse and then out of the abyss a beacon!! Beacon of super tasty beer and good atmosphere. Close quarters make for a good place to drink beer and have a chat with others. Loved it.

Awesome beers and they come in a can. Pick up a four pack of the Balls Deep. It's a great IPA.

7 Seas, your beers are awesome. I was content to frequent the Tides once a week to taste you, but now I don't have to! Now I have a growler, and can buy cans at Harbor Greens. I have learned that I need to swirl the cans to get the flavor closer to the flavor from the tap for the Pale Ale. Is that just me? Regardless, thank you for coming to the Harbor :)

Great beer! Just wish the tasting room was a little bigger, but this is a working brewery not a bar.

Port Orchard, WA
This is a new Brewery with a small Tap room where you can drink their extremely good beer while watching them make it. No Food. We dropped in early this evening (a Thursday) and chatted with the Owner/Brewmaster, Travis, who used to brew at SilverCity brew pub. By the time we left, the place was packed with beer enthusiasts. I strongly recomend their double IPA. It's a little hard to find, behind the big hotel, but worth searching it out.

hard to find indeed! Tucked away in the back of the gig harbor inn's parking lot. What a great place though! Travis was extremely nice and out going. Talked to everyone and seemed to love what he was doing. ( though so would I if I were brewing my own beer) The tap room is tiny but the cool view down into there brewery is nice. I too suggest the double IPA and get ready to get comfy! This place is tiny but the brew and the laughs make it a worth while experince. I can't wait till they expand for the summer!

Really great place (a crappy little room) and great beer-- a reason to go to Gig Harbor! I can't wait to go back to drink 3 beers and get a growler to go!
