"Yea...my ex works near here. The blonde one who drinks a lot."
"Really?"
"Yea. His girlfriend works here. They met cause he came in here all the time."
"No way."
"Yep."
*This is the point I look up and realize I may be staring at said girlfriend.
4 stars for not getting my ass kicked. -

The people who run this place have got to be the rudest, most unfriendly people on Earth - I know they are not from America - Russia maybe? They do keep the local school kids on a tight leash inside the store, but do NOTHING about chasing they away from the FRONT DOORS. I cannot stand having to wade through a bunch of rude kids just to get milk.
I live within walking distance, and will NOT go there anymore - I go to the one on N. Main - at least they say THANK YOU.Listed in: MY reviews

Michele forgot to mention the riff-raff, transients, lowlifes and other unsavory types that frequent this location for its two for one taquitos and pina colada slurpees. I am pretty sure you could catch a staph infection at this location, but my gripe is about the other location on Oak Rd, right off 680. I couldn't find it on Yelp, so this location is going to get the "Mad Yelper" treatment its cousin up the street deserves...
So Bax and I always bend the block lookin for some boppers out and about a few times a day. He takes a whizz wherever, on whatever he pleases, because he's hardcore and ain't nobody gonna tell him nuthin. I post up and send out the vibe.
Sometimes, we want to go into the 7-Eleven so I can pick up some Junior Mints and a Sugar Free Red Bull. I'd pick up Bax and we'd stroll on in. This used to be ok... Until recently. Some lady that resembles "man-hands" from the episode of Seinfeld, (just much, much older and much deeper voice) told me in Translyvanian: "No Dog allowed, you leave now!" Baxter is no regular dog, ok? He is my little gentleman, and Man Hands can kiss off.
Besides, Bax is undoubtedly cleaner than most that venture into this location anyways. I think she was pist because her manager made her shave her arms. So instead of walking in these days, we just stand outside and glare at Man Hands. Until she shakes her fist at us, which resembles the mighty Thor swinging his Hammer. Then we slink back to my apartment. -

As Rob H. says, this 7-11 is what it is. Nothing more or less. I've walked over here a few times from Jiffy Lube to kill time and have found it clean, safe, and adequate for what I was looking for. As far Sean O.'s riff raff clientèle comments, having a little empathy for people and their circumstances is maybe a better option.

this place is located on a corner strip mall next to a japanese restaurant. got a energy fusion? columbia coffee (20 oz 1.49). if it was after 4, it was be .99. (12 0z 1.29, 16 oz 1.39)
when i went to the cashier to pay for it, she insisted my cup of coffee had to be scanned to register a sale. talk about controlling shrinkage!
the coffee wasn't that tasty/eventful. with some flavored cremers, it tasted pretty good. -

Really folks, a 1-star review of 7-11? Come on! 7-11 by it's very nature is a 1 or 2 star joint, so you need to be fair and rate it based on what you expect from this type of business. So, with that, I'll say that this location is about average for the convenience stores I'm used to. They definetly won't win any awards for friendliest service, but the selection is good, the place stays pretty clean, and they know how to move a line and get me back to work.
