I was in this area with a dead cell phone and stopped to buy a car charger for my phone. I ended up getting a coffee and the charger. The clerk was friendly everything was great until I got to my car and hooked up the charger to my lighter and realized the charger was not working. After several attempts I gave up and still parked in front of the store I went back in not even 5 minutes later and told the clerk the charger was not working. She walked to the back and an older man from India or Pakistan, I'm assuming the owner of the franchise said that they don't do refunds. So, then I asked if I could get a store credit or something and he denied that too. That I had to call the product manufacturer and take it up with them. I explained to the man, I just bought this 5 minutes ago and my reasoning is I stopped at 7 Eleven because you expect great service and product guaranty but unfortunately they are loosing their touch and will start going to Race Tracks or other. I was very disappointed that a chain like this failed to be responsible and back up their products. It was a $10 item and it was an emergency basis too. I hope this saves someone else the frustration of seven eleven failure to back up their products especially at this location. I hope that if someone walks in there the owner is notified of this review so they can be more customer service oriented and know that consumers voice can be heard on popular sites like this.
