I consider this a nice suburbish neighborhood within the city limits; not an area where I would expect to find a 7-11, but there it is dirty and out of place.
The store is well stocked with your after hours snacks: porn and Ben and Jerry's. -

This is a decent location. They have a large selection of sandwiches, treats, coffee, donuts, etc. and the Slurpee selection is decent, not the largest but still good.
They are always stocked up on corn nuts so i never mind coming in. Employees are usually friendly and personable. -

I always considered 7 Elevens in the same category as adult bookstores -- a place to walk past and look in the window for the poor schmoes (or sick freaks) who go in. There's always been something kind of dirty and seedy about a 7 Eleven, like you have to go there to buy something you'd be too embarrassed to at a supermarket.
But on Christmas Eve, Safeway closed on us at 6pm. And I wanted to put the Lotto on, and we needed milk. So we took a drive up Roosevelt to Maple Leaf to the 7 Eleven.
Even though the guy could not add up to save his life and probably couldn't spell "GED", the clerk was friendly and happy to be at work. We got what we needed and got out. I'm just glad that they were open. -

Roosevelt 711 is my best friend.
Literally, I feel like we've been holding hands.
It's so friendly.
No, this first year in Seattle has been tough in the making friends department.
711 in Maple Leaf is there for me! It's a friendly little place encouraging neighborhood, compassion, and hugs all around.
The staff is profound! They say hello, introduce themselves, ring up my same ol' pizza and can of beer every night - no matter what time of the night.
The apples are more near to fresh than at any other convenience store.
Once, someone held the door for me going in!
The baskets of crap, like caffeinated Snickers bars, are always neat and tidy. Yes, the place is clean. And you can hear a variety of modern foreign hip-hop and Middle Eastern dance tunes blasting from the radio around 1 am.
The 711 in Maple Leaf is a true friend and a cheap date. It's always open. It's always clean. It's consistent. And it doesn't cost much to travel to dreams of foreign shores. -

Being from SoCal, you're convenience mart indoctrination starts at a young age. Some may have their AMPMs, others their Circle K, but I've been a 7-Eleven boy for as long as I can remember. Regardless of my education status, regardless of my fiscal abilities, and regardless of my travel exposure, that moment when I confirm that a 7-Eleven is accessible to me always brings a little smile to my heart.
Sure, many may think that they are all the same, but they are not. Some look dingy - this one does not. Some have menacing-looking people looming about - this one does not. Some are cluttered and maze like - this one is not. Others always look in need of stocking - not here. And still others have unpleasant staff - most definitely not this one. Guess it is a combination of those attributes and more that keep me coming back time and again - although not when it is snowing: that parking lot is a disaster when it is icy. -

Coffee!!!!!! I love the bucks, but 7 Eleven brings character to their scheme......one of the only places that i know of that you can have an irish cream, 4 extreme caffeine shots (even though it clearly states, **only 2 per 24hour period**), some powder creamer, unlimited pumps of a lazy-susan full of syrups, and to top it all off..........mini marshmallows!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention???? Under $2........sweet. Very clean, coffee is ALWAYS fresh (and hot), the clerks are extremely nice.....My drink? Small drip with 4 french vanillas. Try it.
