I prefer to think of this place as more of a sociology observation lab than a convenience store. In my many travels here, I've been harassed by the homeless looking for change, groped by a woman that I think was wasted - though I can't be sure, and given $15 change for a $5 purchase when I only gave the cashier a $10 (good money-making scheme though).
Open 24/7, it does offer convenience. The inside looks like any 7-Eleven you've been in, though maybe a little less clean. The prices are high and the selection is low, but where else can you get beef jerky at 3 am?
