This isn't really a review of anything I bought at 6th Street, but just wanted to give props to this establishment for putting on an awesome Salsa Night!  I was totally surprised to see this place packed and hoppin'.  I mean, we're talkin' Prosser here!!

The vibe was good, there was a band, a free salsa lesson, salsa performance, and then open DJ dancing till the wee hours.

Keep it up 6th Street, and I promise to buy a big fat Mexican Mocha next time I'm there!

I came here on Sunday at 1:05 pm during the Prosser Harvest Festival and there was a sign on the door that read "Closing Early Today At 1:00 p.m.".

    Hmph!

Who ever heard of a coffee shop closing early.. Especially when your town is having a festival?

Apparently, this place has changed hands 6 times in the past few years.

Are we expecting it to reach 7 anytime soon?

This place is exactly what I wanted...except the restaurant was dead. BUT  the food was deicous. I had a Rustic Salad with fresh greens with goat cheese, dried cranberries, almonds and red onions with raspberry vinaigrette, served with HOT bread. It was exactly what I was looking for!! It was delicious and had a great sandwich menu if you don't like salads. There were big couches and board games along with a microphone and piano for entermainment. I don't think you could go wrong.  It is low-key and casual. Try it!!

I'll admit that I haven't been here in a while and I've heard that they've changed hands a couple times.  But the four or five times I've been in there, I really enjoyed it.  The coffee was excellent, the seating was nice and comfy, lots of magazines to peruse while you drink.  Plus I love the gift shop trinkets and things in the front part of the store.  I stop in every time I'm in Prosser (which, admittedly isn't often).

Being from Seattle, I liked this 6th street place. Didn't have any coffee, but the sandwich I had was good. Good atmosphere, laid back and settle. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely come back.

We come up to Prosser for the cherry harvest and usually drop by the cafe for a morning coffee and something and to take advantage of their WiFi.  The staff is always friendly, the coffee is good, and the limited stuff we eat for breakfast is good.  We were surprised this time in that they were starting a wine tasting - basically several wines open for buying by the glass.  This was great because their taste coincided with ours and we enjoyed their  selection.  Brought back some of their picks to the Salinas wine country also!
