My husband and I have been living here since December 2007. We use to live in the north of SD and wanted to move to Downtown. Before searching on the internet, we were thinking that living in downtown must be really expensive but not at all. We found 600 Front Apartments on the internet and luckily had a nice apartment for the same renting price with our previous apartment. This place was built with a Mediterranean style. The building is only 4 story and has 180 apartments. Always clean and wonderful to live in. There is no gym inside of the apartment complex but it is not a problem at all. Fitness24 is just 1 block away :-)

This place was great to us...while we lived there. As we were moving out we asked the office if there were any items they would charge us for, aka cleaning, nail holes, maintenance, carpet cleaning, etc & were told no. Because we lived there for 3 years they said it was normal to have some wear & tear. We even had a gift certificate for a free repair & carpet cleaning we gave them. Even though they said we wouldn't be charged for cleaning I scrubbed the apartment from top to bottom. About a week after we moved out we got a notice telling us they were subtracting ridiculous amounts of money for repairs to the walls & for cleaning. I called & reminded them they had told us we wouldn't get charged & the guy had the nerve to tell me our place was dirty & they were giving us a deal on nail hole repairs to the walls!!! This place was happy to take our money for 3 years, but screw us over once we moved. Renter beware, this place will nickel & dime you when it's time to move out!
