I had a comfortable stay, but I just stay at hotels for the shower, sleep, and wireless internet. I don't go to a hotel for the bar, restaurant, club, laundry, etc. Don't even care about turn down service.

I wouldn't pay more than $200 a night here (including taxes + fees) for a normal room (they apparently have suites and lofts). I paid less than $150 after taxes + fees. There are just too many good deals out there.

I was 'upgraded' to a double deluxe room. Not sure how sleeping in a double bed is an upgrade vs a queen or king....the room is apparently more spacious. It was pretty large for a NYC hotel room - probably 375 sq ft.

My room was in the back of the hotel. Large windows - half of it swung open to get a nice breeze. Unfortunately, the breeze was occasionally powered with the smell of cheap Chinese food.

    No desk. No armchairs.

Card reader was a bit finnicky. Need to stick it in for a sec then pull it out very quickly (TWSS).

The bathroom was nice. Over-sized sink. Some type of shell-like, 1"x1" tiling on the floor (not shiny like abalone or mother-of-pearl), marble or granite-type tiling on the walls (not sure if it's real). Good size. Q-TIPS!! Movable shower head - the kind that only seems useful for female masturbation (what's the purpose of these??) - along with the normal mounted shower head. No waterfall as one reviewer mentioned, for those who care.

$15 extra for WiFi. What year is this?? Don't remember the last place I went where it wasn't complimentary...it was pretty fast though. Not bogged down like other hotels. Didn't do a speed test though.

Check-out is at noon which is cool.

    No complimentary bottled water.

Clean soft carpet. Not a stain to be seen.

No moldy smell like other hotels so often have.

Heat worked great. Hot water in shower was instantaneous.

Had no problems with rudeness with the staff as other reviewers have complained about, but, again, I didn't attempt to go to the bar or restaurant or use any services. Front-desk check-in was quick. Check out was with what seemed like the most jovial guy in the world (rotund Bavarian fellow).

The bell men should get some more conspicuous uniforms. I walked in and two guys were running past me - they stopped and then asked if they could help me. I replied, "Do you work here?" Their uniform apparently is a gray cardigan sweater and jeans. When I was walking out to get some food, there was a 17-year old looking guy walking around the front-door - he opened it for me as I left. I assume he worked there....

TV was decent. An LG. 40"? The interface was good for a hotel, though clicking on a TV channel in their listings did nothing. You still had to press channel up until you got to the station. They offered movies. Didn't check what was offered.

Appeared to only have two places to plug into AC power. Kind of inconvenient for one of the deluxe beds.

No problems with noise, though I could hear the bar music in my bathroom. Probably coming through the ventilation. It wasn't loud though. If you're in the bathroom and somebody above you takes a shower or flushes the toilet, it is loud, but only when you're in the bathroom. Toilet flushed violently - stand back or get splashed!

System apparently crashed as I was checking out.

Not much on Thompson St right next to the building, but W Broadway one street over has cool art and high-end shopping. Bleeker is just a few blocks north which is definitely a hopping area (Ben's Pizzeria!!)

I'd stay there again, but wouldn't pay too much.

The best part of this hotel was the service in my opinion. Everyone I came in contact with had a smile on their face and went out of their way to help us. The doorman even stayed late one night to catch us after dinner and give us a list of bar recommendations for going out.
The other best part was the location. We were so close to tons of great bars/restaurants/shopping/everything.
The rooms were very nice, but for the price I was a little underwhelmed. I've stayed in more beautiful hotels, but I didn't come to NY to stay in the room all day so that didn't really matter. The location and staff put this hotel over the top, and they made this stay in NY one of my favorites.

yes, the rooms are "posh." but for one of these hotels, you would expect more. they dont even have turn down service.

i stayed there for a few nights this month- January- it is freakin COLD during this time... and the heater was blowing out cold air. we called the front desk to get it fixed. the technician that showed up changed the filter. UM... how does the filter control heat? a few hours later, we call them again to tell them it was still blowing cold air.

in the mean time, our TV wasnt working. it said "no signal." so they sent yet another technician to fix that. but every time we turned our TV back on, we had to call them again.

THEN in the morning, we, of course, took showers before we went out. and the shower water was luke warm. LUKE WARM! not acceptable.

how many stars is this hotel supposed to be? where was the "luxury" we paid for?

their upstairs bar is very swanky and sophisticated. great place for a romantic date. very cozy and inviting...dimly lit, u can melt away into the couches and just relax. they almost have like private areas in the back so lots of naughty things can take place! ;) but the drinks are exp! their mini sliders are quite good! service is very friendly.

One star for the bouncer.  I get it you are trying to control the number of people you allow upstairs but you don't have to be an ASS about it.    .  Believe me, there are better ways to address CUSTOMERS trying to provide you BUSINESS.

Also, my friend said the bartender charged her for an extra drink after he made the first one and it accidentally spilled over.  Are you serious?  Are you that stingy?  Plus when she finally got the second mojito, it tasted horrible.

God, I really wanted to like this hotel... I have been so biased by staying at the Gansevoort that its hard when they're booked. I arrived here late, after delayed flights and they couldn't find my reservation for TWO HOURS. I was exhausted, had a 7 am meeting, and didn't get into my room until almost 2 am. When I DID get into the room, it was beautiful. That is their saving grace, the rooms are gorgeous, beds are comfortable, and the furnishings are super sheek. Then another problem... I get back late from meetings, and my room had STILL not been made up. It was almost 7 and I wanted to shower, get ready, head to dinner and drinks... but my room was in shambles from my late arrival, and scrambling to get up in the morning. When I called the desk, they were rude, and short. Sorry I'm not sorry for asking you to clean my room when I'm paying $400 a night to stay here. I was so disgusted. THANK GOD a small room opened up at the Gansevoort the next night and I high tailed it the meat packing district. The ONLY reason this hotel gets two stars is the rooftop bar scene is extremely nice. The crowd was young, beautiful, and rich. Very NYC. Still, it has nothing on the aforementioned (twice) hotel. Sorry guys! (you did better with Smyth)

Ladies this is a classy place. The lounge I mean because I have no idea about the suites. There's a DJ turntable. A lounge with modern art that pops off the wall. Drinks that are the usual manhattan prices but pretty good and creative. Comfortable couches to properly lounge although falling into a couch isn't necessarily a good way to pick up someone.

The bar consisted of a few people dressed to the nines on a weekday night. A girl dolled up but playing coy with a suited up guy who might as well have been Barney Stinson. I'd come back again to try the outdoor eatery. They seem to have a nice woodsy ambiance that may make you forget you're in the city for a second. Or was that your mixed drink?

Beautiful chic hotel with beautiful chic -and NICE- people :)

My stay at 60 Thompson completely made up for my experience at Thompson LES a few weeks ago!   60 Thomp is a more boutique-ish, less pedestrian version of the Thompson LES.

Service was at 100% from the time that I arrived.  The entire staff, from bellmen to the concierge, was on their game.  True to to Thompson name, the hotel design is also lovely.  Bar and lounge are worth spending some time.  Rooms are fine, but nothing spectacular (rooms at LES are better).  I'd say that the only disappointment are the showers.   A little underwhelming (WHERE is the rainfall??).

The cherry...The convenient SOHO location makes a world of difference.

For my next sojourn in NYC, 60 Thomp is on my list as one of the tops.

You are somebody important. Let me open the door for you. Let me greet you hello. Let me call for you a cab. Hailing one would be too proletariat. Please know that I am at your beck and call. And if I don't have a smile on my face, please contact my supervisor.

Hell yes! Now this is what I am talking about. 60 Thompson is a niiiiiiiice hotel. It's posh and though it's boutique rooms are a bit small, they do make up for it in luxury in every sense. The beds are soft, the pillows are dreamy, and there is a phone in the bathroom so you can order room service while you are on the can.

I want to live at 60 Thompson. They don't give you private label chocolates a dime a dozen. You get Fat Witch brownies straight from the Chelsea Market. If that doesn't scream New York, then I don't know what does. The hotel was designed by Thomas O'Brien. Thomas O'Who? Yea, the same guy who designed the towels I bought from Target! Well forget Target. I'm at Bergdorf's now! Or at least that's how I feeeeeel. Luxury oh luxury. The dark rich browns are so much more classy than the hot pinks at the W right? Plus, we're in SoHo. Not exactly the tourist central of Times Square.

If you are driving in with your car, no worries. Have the valet park it for $55/night.

The hotel has a trendy lounge area with nooks and crannies for privacy. Perfect for snuggling. And if you wanted to take the snuggling upstairs, the rooms come equipped with $195 intimacy kits and $7 condoms. Small price to pay to avoid million dollar mistakes.

My one complaint about 60 Thompson are their cheap disposable electronic key cards. They demagnetize one foot away from cell phones and pocket change. I don't get it. We must have went back and forth to the front desk to reset the keys and they never worked. On our way out, we even had to be escorted by the agent to show her that the key was not working. But even in all of our complaints, the staff at 60 Thompson was world class.

They serve you here with a smile on their face.

You are somebody important. Let them open the door for you. Let them greet you hello. Let them call for you a cab. To hail one would be too proletariat. And if they don't have smiles on their faces, then please contact their supervisor.

I have been traveling to NY for business and pleasure for over 10 years now.

This is one of those "trendy" new hotels that is trying to be a hip "spot".

I spent $2,600 for three nights including an amazing dinner at the restaurant.

My main complaint was the noise. I was woken up early 2 of the three nights by housekeeping out in the hall, doors constantly slamming (i mean for 4 hour straight), plates from roomservice being collected in the hall (i mean it sounded like it was a KITCHEN out there!!). The thing that is really annoying about all of this is that they bill themselves as a Party Hotel, they KNOW you are going to be out until 4:00 (at the earliest). So why don't they understand that we're not on the up-at-8:00 a.m. schedule thing?!! The halls on each level are very small, with all of the rooms tightly clustered around, so sound is amplified in this small space and it's just unbearable.

The Standard room and King room are both very small.

As someone else mentioned, you can hear every toilet flush from the adjacent rooms and from the rooms above you.

Staff: front desk & bell staff were all very helpful and friendly.

There is an EVIL young lady (Blonde) who is the "hostess" at the rooftop lounge. I mean she is mean and totally makes you feel unwelcome. The waitresses in the rooftop lounge were attentive and friendly.

The downstairs bar staff and waitresses are also very inattentive. I was standing there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my drink order. It was not until my (very attractive) girlfriend walked in and stood next to me that the male bartender suddenly came over and took our order. oye.

We had dinner at the Hotel's restaurant and the food was excellent. I mean really, really good. Oddly, our waitress (who seemed to be in space from the time she first served us) mysteriously disappeared half-way through our dinner and our service was completed by the buss-boy!! (who was extremely good and attentive btw, much better than the waitress!!)

I would recommend staying in a quieter part of town, and just taking a quick taxi down to Soho to party and have dinner down there.

BOTTOM LINE:This hotel needs to fill a LOT of gaps in the staffing issues and resolve the noise issues. Then it would be ok @ $350/night MAX. It was not worth what i paid.

Pluses: you can smoke in the outdoor area in the main restaurant (facing the street) and on the rooftop lounge.

    A well located classy place.
While I would stay here again due to the comfortable rooms, the tasteful decor, and the fresh styling products in the room, the hotel could use a few pointers.

    Staff is snobby and ineffectual.
The hotel is chic and trendy but the level of customer service and professionalism of the staff was below par.  The staff was super young and not well trained and seemed to think they were too beautiful and important to help guests.

One of my main problems was the lack of a service elevator.  Therefore, in order to get up and down the elevator we often had to wait or squeeze in with a pile of laundry or suitcases.  Shows lack of foresight in planning.

When I arrived my room was not ready and I had to bug the uncrowded reception desk to remind them that I needed a room.  My 500/night room was small and smokey and I asked to be moved to a non smoking room.  That took a while, but I got a really nice room with two beds and a big window, as well as a nice big bathroom.

Another plus, I was able to borrow a vase for flowers.

Some cool points for condoms, cds, and magazines in the mini bar.  The room also had a cd player which was a nice extra.

I enjoyed the morning breakfasts in the restaurant, where there was a nice selection of yummy healthy treats.

Room service was iffy.  They bring it on a tray rather than a cart so you had to eat off the bed.

Turndown service is good and you get a nice brownie on your pillow.

The concierge desk consisted of a small podium with a laptop.  The lady was very nice though and was able to direct me to some cool spots.

The next door restraurant was crowded with rude hostesses and I wasn't able to get a table despite the fact that I was a guest in the hotel.  In order to try the much hyped food I had to pay a premium on the full menu through room service.  The food was overpriced thai fare and not that good.

When I was checking out the bell staff dropped my bag on my foot.  They were pretty nice though.

Settling the bill was tedious because I was charged for things that I did not order and it took a while.  Most hotels are quick to check you out.

    Evaluation
    Rooms: 3 stars
    Front desk reception: one star
    Bell Staff: two stars
    Elevator: One star
    Room Service: two stars
    Breakfast: four stars
    Turndown service: four stars
    Location: four stars

In total, I would stay here again because of the nice atmosphere, but the place could use a training course for their staff.  The rooms are really cozy and the location is great.

Hello!! They have a shag-bag located near the mini-bar! MMM hmm.

Ok ok, in all seriousness, love this place because the people who work here are actually really nice. We got upgraded to a suite and it was beeeautiful. The room was not the biggest ever, but the decor was so unlike any other hotel I've ever been to. No cheese factor here.

This is an amazing hotel. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who needs a place to sleep in NYC. Loved it. It will be hard not staying there again, but the only reason I wont is because I love trying out new hotels.
Incredibly posh and classy. Our room was very nice, not the largest room I've ever stayed in in NYC, but also not the smallest. I even had a decent view from our large window.  I felt the doormen were very friendly and helpful, but certainly not overbearing.

Sadly I visited in mid-November so the rooftop lounge was no longer open, but Thom Bar was still a fabulous hang-out.  Filled with ultra-sophisticates (the scene was very "see and be seen" there) I sipped on the tastiest fresh berry mojito. yum yum.

I also very much enjoyed the restaurant Kittichai located on 60 T's ground level.  The decor was gorgeous, and the brunch was delectable!

The only reason I am not giving this boutique hotel 5 stars, is because...well it was good, very good, but I am doubtful it is one of the very best hotel experiences I will enjoy in NYC.

    Hey, I like this place!
Stayed here on my most recent work trip to NY. We usually stay at the Soho or Tribeca Grand but this was a nice change of pace. My room was spacious for a boutique hotel and the bathroom was 100% tiled and lovely. My only concern was with the room not having a desk, which is not a terrible issue unless you need to get some work done.
The staff was more than kind. They were so over-the-top helpful with bags, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.
The gym was the tiniest itty-bitty hotel gym I've ever seen but I still managed to use it a couple times. Thank god it wasn't crowded in there. Some people could care less about hotel gyms, but I think it's totally necessary!
I wasn't a big fan of having to swipe the room card every time i used the elevator but since its manhattan, i guess they need that kind of security.
Overall great hotel, I'd love to go back

Attitude - way too entitled given where they are. Had a work function here, and after the open bar was over, the bartender cut me off, saying it was the manager's call, This was fascinating to me, considering that despite the fact I'd been tipping on every drink, i was suddenly persona non grata at the bar. I asked the bartender for an explanation and received none. I asked the manager for an explanation and received none. In fact, the bouncer told me that I better stop asking questions if I knew what was good for me... I wish I was paraphrasing, but their lingo was straight out of a terrible dime store pulp novel. Do not go here if you expect to be treated with any respect at all.  The bartender was happy to take my money as tips while the open bar was on, and then immediately kicked me out after it was over,

This place is full of stuffed shirt shams and people who think too highly of themselves. Avoid at all costs. One star for the view from the rooftop.

Not too impressed with this hotel, especially compared to the Mercer. While it is comfortable, clean, and elegant, I would definitely not stay here again, mainly because the staff is mediocre. The front desk was fine, but I was wildly underwhelmed by the bartender. I have to explain. I stayed here for a few nights, and after going out with friends I stopped into the bar for a nightcap before bed. I asked the bartender for a Basil Hayden's, neat. He looked at me like I was from another planet and said "What's that??"

For those of you who don't know, "that" is a well-known top-shelf bourbon, not some kind of bizarre blended beverage. I had to explain it to him, and then tell him where it was ON HIS BAR. ugh. I hate crappy bartenders, regardless of how pretty they are.

When we walked into the room we saw the carpet pulled up in one corner, cigarette burns in another corner and the room reeked of cigarettes. The hotel brought in this machine to try and get the smell out and comped one of the candles in the minibar.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They got us into any restaurant we wanted.

There's a lounge that you can go to in the evening. The music is good but the people are kind of douchy. (Think spikey hair and sweaty pda.)

Their restaurant, Kittichai is pretty good. You can get anything from there via room service.

If you love to shop, you really can't beat this location.

The bad, The staff! not all but just the front desk. They were robotic and rude.

It took us forever to get them because the staff is just too busy loving themselves to actually serve customers. Drinks don't come cheap and I don't appreciate having to pay for very poor service, and attitude. Keep walking there are much better places in the area. Beautiful hotel right in the heart of SOHO. Stayed here this past week-end, and really enjoyed the location and amenities. They are definitely trying to compete against the Gansavorts and the Standards of the city. The restaurant was nice and not so crazy in terms of expense, and the rooftop lounge, while small, was pleasant and had great views and beautiful people. I do take a star off though for the room itself. I had a King size bed that was pleasant and comfortable. Sadly, the rest of the room needed a little updating. There was a couch instead of a desk, so I had to hook up my laptop off of the end table. On top of that, both the couch and  the carpet seemed to be a bit worn. I think this is a very good hotel, but it just needs to do a bit of room by room updating. Bathroom was of course stunning, all tile and marble.

Room (big queen 11th flr) had an excellent bed and a large bathroom. Compared to other boutique hotels this is practically Texan sized ( yes I'm lookin at you w). No desk though and they charged for wifi. Great for a one person stay for a week.

Great minibar and plasma. Very convenient to subway, shopping and everything from the village to TriBeCa is in walking distance.  Very attentive doormen. Good recommendations for eat places.

The hostess got SUPER worked up about our fairly big group (13 ppl) fitting into a private room and ordering drinks and....SO much drama. she tried explaining and re-explaing how we had to get drinks from the bar but if we did, we can't sit in the booth...seriously lady...there were maybe 12 people in that place BEFORE we came in...and we are drinkers.
Finally, the server just took out orders- no drama.

But we were left with a somewhat weird bad taste/ experience and only stayed for 1 drink.
Ah well, their loss (we're huge drinkers, us ad folks)

In this economy, businesses need to just let loose and let people do whatever they want esp if they're PAYING- it's not like there's a line out the door, people.
    seriously

Excellent place for a private party. Staff are very nice and easy to work with. We rented a penthouse with roof for our 35-person event and it was terrific. The food they served wasn't memorable, but that may have been because the bartender was doing such a good job!

Kittichai downstairs is lovely for a small dinner. Make reservations and don't linger too long in the bar down there. It's not really a good bar for hanging out.

The true mark of a great hotel is a good night's sleep.  I slept 10 hours straight through.  Very quiet place -- no noisy HVAC equipment or blaring taxis outside.  Rooms have a zen like effect without overdoing the minimalist-tranquility-Asia thing.  Also, they have a garden up on top.

Staff very accommodating, friendly, no ESoS (Evident Signs of Snobbery).

This hotel is really a solid 3.5 stars (which is not possible to do on here).

This hotel did not live up to my expectations in almost every way.  The staff was "just there".  The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was located in a very good location, but it was a pretty boring hotel.  The check-in staff was ok, with a little bit of an expected SOHO attitude.  Whatever.

The Thai restaurant was the worst restaurant of our 7 day trip to NYC, Phil and DC.  To me it was all style and the food was bland to uninspired, but that should not reflect this review.  My wife did order room service (hamburger) and said it was possibly the best she's had.

Upon checkout we called for the bellman and after waiting 20 minutes we decided to carry them ourselves.  I would not stay here only because there is so many other choices in this town.

The best, nicest, spacious hotel I've stayed in in New York. Everything is sleek, super clean. And even though it's a new york hotel, it's not cramped. When you bend over to zip up your suitcase, you're not bumping into the bathroom.

60 Thompson is a beautiful hotel, in the heart of SoHo. Great location, nice room, super comfortable bed. My issue with this hotel is the rude, snooty service. When my room wasn't ready upon my arrival at 4:00 p.m. I went down to the hotel restaurant, which has received amazing accolades. The nice front desk associate took my number to call me as soon as my room was ready, so I went to grab a drink and app in the meantime. Well, I must have arrived at shift change, because I never received that call. No big deal, but the fact that the restaurant bar was EMPTY and the bartender/server was absent, rude and inattentive made me upset. Then, when i go upstairs to check in, the gentleman behind the counter was dismissive and once again, rude. For $400/night, I expected a lot more. I went to my room and called down for my bags...and it took over an hour. I had to call back twice. I've been here for three days and the one nice, redeeming person I have encountered has been Anna (sp?) who did my turn-down service. What a warm, wonderful woman. Thank god for her, because if she wouldn't have stopped by, my opinion of this hotel would be 100% negative. What a waste of money this place is. I hope I just hit it on a bad day, but I won't be back.

If for nothing else, go to 60 Thompson for the roofdeck, a glass of champagne and to take in the views. Amazing.

SEXY SEXY SEXY! What a hot, trendy bar. The employees were friendly and gave you whatever you wanted. The atmosphere is stunning, with music that was the perfect volume (dance & the ability to chat). Pricey of course, but you can not expect much more.

Great place. Perfect location. Nice rooms. Was placed on the 3rd floor which was kinda loud due to the bar music below, but it wasn't annoying to me, but could be to others. Room wasn't ready upon arrival but was quickly after. Overall, will definitely stay again.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE LOUNGES ONLY... I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE QUALITY OF THE HOTEL STAY ITSELF.

The atmosphere is classy and unpretentious. The people are beautiful and have an upbeat attitude for the most part. The service can be a bit sketchy but it's easily overlooked since you're having a good time. On occasion, there is live music and to top it off, many seating options between the 2 spaces. Go here to start your evening, and end up here later on when you're night is not quite over yet.

I've been to 60 Thompson several times with friends and have always liked it.  Though I'm not a fan of trendy/ "beautiful people" places, the lounge "Thom" is very comfortable and very low key.  Unlike many other posh spots where you feel like you're on display, Thom's space allows you the option of getting lost in the background.  Yes, you will probably see a celeb or two (though please don't be gauche and try to be a star &*%$#@!).  Thom is like an upscale zoo where you can observe the beautiful people in their natural environment rather than try to mingle with them.  The drinks are expensive but very well made, however, unless you know one of the servers, its sometimes hard to get one.  If you  want an excuse to put on some chic duds when you meet up with friends, Thom is the place to meet them.

The rooftop bar has been my main experience with this hotel, and it is a lovely, if quite small, bar. They operate a reasonably strict policy as far as letting people up, so its best to call beforehand or know someone who has one of their membership cards. The experience is very dependent on the weather and the particular night, one night everyone was quite gorgeous and easy-going, another was filled with shrill matching ladies ready to knife each other for the attentions of a group of confused Turkish boys with expensive watches. Go with friends, be prepared to spend some cash and have a high tolerance for Europeans authentic and otherwise.

I think it's sick that I am the first to review this place. It is a mecca for hot, up and comers who want to drink $12 bellinis among the rich and famous in a comfortable and uber-trendy location. The bar is gorgeous, intimate, and thoroughly New Yorkey.  It's WAY too easy to get in this place, but the riff-raff stay away somehow. If you have money to splurge and want people to watch they are here.

i came to the lounge here.  it's really touristy...as in pretty much everyone in there is a hotel patron.

kinda crowded, but once the crowd dwindled a bit it wasn't bad.

this is your quintessential 'omg this is how ny looks like on sex and the city' bar.  it's full of pretty people trying to be 'new york'.

maybe i'm just too set in my east village ways to really enjoy the place.

i'd bring an out of towner here...if i happened to be eating next door at kittichai...meh.

I recently traveled to New York on a business trip. We chose to stay in the Soho/Tribeca area since we were going to be in Chinatown for most of our trip. I have to say that I love this area, it's a great location.

The boutique hotel was very warm and inviting in a modern/contemporary way. The door men were always on  top of the game ready to assist you with your luggage, door, umbrella, etc. They truly went out of their way to cater to everyone. We purchased our hotel stay via Priceline and got a great deal (a lot cheaper than reserving directly with the hotel).

Our room was very posh and cozy. When you walk in you'll find two small brownies on your bed which I have to say I was very excited to munch on each day. It's incredible how a little detail can make your stay just a tid bit nicer. I absolutely loved the bathroom  decor with gorgeous brown marble. I can't say that I have any bad reviews in regards to the overall room.

Now here is where I give you a huge TIP so you wont be miserable staying at 60 Thompson. When you walk into the boutique hotel, you will find a Thai restaurant to your left and the hotel entrance to your right. On the ground floor of the hotel you will find the concierge and elevators and stairs to go up to the second floor which is the lobby and the BAR. The hotel rooms start on the third floor. Here's the big NO NO.... DO NOT STAY IN ANY OF THE THIRD FLOOR ROOMS, right above the small bar that turns into a LOUD and VIBRATING minute night club Thursdays through Mondays. So, the first night after hauling through all of Chinatown all day and evening long, I'm finally in bed when I realized I was living a nightmare. My bed was literally vibrating from the music and I could hear the music coming through the walls.  I called and the front desk told me that they would be closing thirty minutes. After thirty minutes, I called again and was told that they couldn't just close the bar. I asked to speak to the supervisor which gave me a discount and gave me an upgrade to higher floor. My problem was resolved after a minute of speaking to the supervisor.

My overall stay was great aside from that huge tip, I hope you don't make it!!
