The cupcakes are to die for ... I've tried 10 different cupcakes from this bakery and each one is better than the last.  All-time favorites are the Sexy Sadie, Pina Colada, and Fluffernutter.  

They also offer Vegan cupcakes, as well as regular ones.  Fairly priced, you can place a specialized order for pick up (or delivery for a fee).

They also do catering/weddings/etc.

If you are ever in the area, you must stop by Sweet Ave and give your tongue a dosage of cupcake heaven this place provides.

Cute place, good prices. But Kim W is right. If you are in the area only, stop by. Don't go out of your way like I did. I went after I saw a Gourmet News article emailed to me about them. Drove an hour to check it out. They had about 14 cupcakes on display! I know its tough on a Sunday, but two of the six I brought home where old. My wife believes that 5 where old.  

The shop was cute, and even though they had 14 cupcakes on display, they consisted of at least 8 different flavors (I took the last on many).  

One big issue was the fact I couldn't get the damned cupcake out of the paper cup!!! (This is mainly what lead me to believe the cupcake was old (besides the fact some of the frosting was harder than others)).  They need to spray them or butter them or something!

I agree..the owner's never smile or show any friendliness.

I like the cupcakes...they're tasty ..but their prices rose twice in the past few months! I thought $2 for cupcakes the same size as homemade ones was steep.  Then they went to $2.25 and now they're an astonishing $2.50.  

That's the same price as many cupcake shops in NYC.  In fact that costs most than Magnolia cupcakes, at $2.25 and much bigger than these cupcakes.

When this business started out, I was really excited and wanted to support.  I stopped by frequently and recommended it to man friends who went there.  But now at $2.50...no thanks, I'll bake my own.

The cupcakes were cute. However: The people who run the store (husband and wife) are extremely depressing. They have very low energy and don't smile. Not what you'd expect for a cute cupcake shop. There were only like ten cupcakes when I went and the ones I got were rock dry. No free treat even though it was my first time... Go to the other bakery on park ave. it's much better and cheaper.
