I visit this place quite a bit to have there Tacos Governador and micheldas :) service is always great and the food is exceptional. Their chips and the dip are so good. My husband loves their taquitos.
Great place for dinner and drinks -

This a review for Friday Nights Comedy show and Bar.
I give it a 3 star rating because of my two past visits. The free comedy show is suppose to begin at 8:30pm but for some reason they began the show at 10:00pm. These two nights the comedians were Not Funny. Talk about reconsidering your profession. I guess they believe that people in Pico Rivera don't care for wine because they only offer Sutter Homes PLASTIC bottles, Nasty!
The Host is HILARIOUS and he WILL PICk on you if you're seating in the front or heckling. He saves the show on the nights that the comedians fail to deliver. There is usually about 3-5 comedians per night with the least funnier as the opening act.
The food is ok and they provide you with unlimited chips and dip. They also offer valet parking.
After the Comedy Show, the Dj takes over spinning 80's classic. The crowd is typically around the 28-35 age group. it usually does not get to crowded and they have a decent dance floor for a bar. Seating is scarce. -

Quality, this place has some of the best food around. Quantity, the food portions are generous! Affordability, you do not have to spend your whole paycheck here. I have been here many times and I have no complaints. Everything on their menu is great (I recommend the shrimp ceviche) but there is something for everyone. The thing that I enjoy most about this place is that every night is different. Whether you want to dance the night away, have a few drinks with friends or catch a hilarious comedy show, it is all here.

I have only been to this Bar & Grill on Fridays, and I come solely for the Comedy Show. The show starts at 8pm (but they usually start at 8:45-9pm) and you should make reservations if you want seating. The show is FREE so it can get pretty crowded.
The comedy show consists of a host, and 3-5 different comedians with various levels of experience. Although the clientele here is primarily Latino, the comedians are of every ethnic background. Although this place is next to El Rodeo, there are no Paisa people who attend the show on Fridays, which is a big misconception people have about the place.
The food is mediocre, and the mixed drinks are okay. I was very disappointed that they do not offer wine, or champagne, isn't this a bar? The only "wine" they had was the cheap Sutter Hill which came in a PLASTIC bottle, are you kidding? These would be my only cons to the place.
After the show, the DJ plays mainly 80's and dance music, which isn't my preferred genre so I never stay for that.
I'm a regular because Its a FREE 2 hour comedy show on Friday nights, you CANT beat that!! -

Fair warning: This is going to be one of those bitchy reviews that make me look pissy. And I don't care.
One of my girlfriends was moving out of town and decided to have her Wednesday night celebration at 58 Bar & Grill.
Being that I'm from Montebello and live in Whittier, I'm quite familiar with Pico.
I arrived at 10pm intending to only stay about one hour. Parked in the ample lot next to the closed for the night businesses and proceed to walk to the door. On my way, a man stopped me and said to me in Spanish that I had to move my car and pay $5 to do so. I looked at where I parked, saw there were no signs and said, I wasn't staying long enough to move it.
I proceeded to get to the security at the front door who then informed me that I HAD to move my car to their self-park area and pay $5.
So let me get this straight. I am standing in an area with about 100 open parking spaces within walking distance and about 500 more across the street, there is no signage of parking restrictions anywhere around, it's a weeknight, it's 10pm, it's fucking Pico Rivera, and I have to pay to move my car why?
I told the guy if that was the case, I'd be leaving in a few, but I needed to go inside and tell my friend that I wasn't staying. "I'll be back in 10 minutes and leave."
The guy says, "You'd better be out in five." What a fucking dick.
I went inside to my friend who had the same encounter but decided to stay and told her I was refused to stay. She INSISTED that I not leave her alone so I went to my car and begrudgingly moved it.
Now, this wasn't my first encounter with the security staff at 58 Bar and Grill. Last time I tried to have a drink here, it was midnight on a Thursday and there was a line. When I went to the front of it and asked what was going on and how long the wait was (this is IN PICO RIVERA, mind you) the dude at the head of the line said it was free, but if I paid $20 I could cut to the front. I didn't write a review of that because that would be chicken shit...
So to be honest, Jesus could have been the DJ, God himself could have been pouring the drinks, and it wouldn't make me like this place after those two encounters.
Not to mention that behind the bar, there is an open space that shows the stage to El Rodeo, so while the band in our area was playing they were having to compete with the Banda at El Rodeo. Or the fact that when I ordered a Makers and Ginger I got a Makers and diet coke mixed with two squirts of 7 up.
I turned to my friend who insisted I stayed and uttered the vow that I will end this review with:
"I will never step foot in this place ever again." -

Quick tip:
Rodeo and 58 bar and grill share the same parking lot if you say I'm here for "Rodeo night club" parking is 10 regular and 20 valet
But if you tell them your there for 58 bar n grill its $5
I think its a total rip off that they would do the parking that way....Guess What? I still went to rodeo after walking in to 58 where there were only a less then 25 ppl there at about 10 pm ppl started rolling in slowly but surely.
They did have beer specials $4
Corona, Blue moon, Bud ect.
Totally free no cover... all in all it was just ok for me... -

Well lets see I've been here before on a Wednesday to see the great band Steel Rod and it was kinda busy. Came back on the weekend and holy crap it was jam packed! The place is small, good food, good drink specials but is connected to the Rodeo night club.
At first I felt out of dress code because I wasn't sporting my ed hardy bee dazzled shirt/hat lol. The other thing about this place that blows is that you get that mixed 18 and over crowd acting stupid and immature.
Overall the 58 bar is legit especially when the bar manager, bartenders and promoters take care of you. Good looking out to three, be back soon.Listed in: Best Happy Hour

Ok so I only came here so far on Tuesdays and it was good. Did not get busy and packed till about 830 and on.
I got the grilled chicken ceaser salad and it was big and good. The chicken alone seemed healthy and was tasty. Flavor wise. At least that time it was. different days they have specials/events going on.
I have never been on a Friday yet. It is pico so I am going to be honest the crowd is very mixed!!!! and who knows how long it will take before it goes down the whole (hoping it doesn't) like "sage" in Whittier did. Gross.
I say try it out here and good food so far. ;)
Games on, TV's everywhere a bit loud when the games are on (music wise) if you want to hear just the game with music in the back, expect the opposite. but I had a good time. So far ;) -

Was a bit skeptical having this spot located so close to El Rodeo.
I walk in and the spot is clean and the staff there are very friendly. It was really easy to get a drink from the bar and the tender was nice and courteous. Their selection of beer is decent and not extravagant.
I would highly recommend attending the place on a Wednesday night. There is a live cover band that prides themselves on taking requests and sounding like the professional artists they cover.
A better selection to escape away from the seedy dive bars within the area. -

Good food, good music, good drinks.
Food: YES. My buddy and I got here before the rest of our group so we sat down and I had the patty melt which came with fries and thousand island dressing. The food is pretty much your traditional American burgers with some good Mexican options as well. If the patty melt had to be my calibration method, then I'm pretty sure the rest of the food here is just as good.
Drinks: Stiff and the waitresses are always on it. You'll never go thirsty.
Service: Possibly amongst the best service had a bar and grill I've had. FOR SURE. My buddy had a bit too much and was getting demanding of the waitress to bring more drinks...but I told her to cut him off and she was completely cool about it and was discreet in handing me the check.
The one thing that got to me was the loud music. I am not a fan of loud music indoors. Asides from that...yeah I'd definitely go back. -

Montebello, CA
This Bar is pretty good I wasn't completely impressed because it seemed like a nice place outside. Firstly let's begin with the parking lot situation. They charge $5 bucks for self parking because there is a Spanish club attached to this bar (Also make sure you mention the bar or they will overcharge you). I really enjoyed the location once inside because of the company I was with. The place was dead on a Thursday night about 10pm. People would come in and out of this place and I am guessing to grab a drink before going into the club. They music was great at least for me it had tons of great old school hip hop and R&B. Great place to come and hang out and grab a drink I just not sure about paying for parking cause that is one less beer. But there is no decent bars near Montebello so this is a good local option.

58 is a bar and grill where you'll find flat screen TV's, a projection screen, surround sound and everything else you need to enjoy the game.
The service is awesome, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, everyone in there is friendly and the food is delicious.
Another huge plus, there's plenty of parking. I can't wait for baseball... playoffs and football to start!!! -

I'm not going to lie - I was very SKEPTICAL about this place, especially since it's right next to El Rodeo, I just didnt know what to expect. But I can truthfully say, I was pleasentaly surprised! :)
First off - the place is very clean! It all looks new, modern, great flat screens with a small stage. Not bad.
The drinks - are good! Beer - in buckets if thats how you like them! Not bad.
The music - great! I went on a weekday when they had a live band playing - not bad! Really enjoyed them, they were even asking for suggestions from the crowd. Played everything from Santaria to Rock en Espanol. On a Friday, they have a live DJ, he definitely had us ladies shaking our booties, he played a great mix, and lets face it - anyone who can play the top 40 to MJ & Madonna followed by Sonora Dinamita is a winner in my books :). -

I really like this place. They have tv's, a bar, and live bands. The food is GOOD. I like the molcajete. It's awesome!!!! It's the best I've ever had. They give you good portions and it's tasty. Here's my favorite part.... I asked for a side of cheese and they give me this tub of awesomeness! Dude! I couldn't believe it. It was broiled so the top had a crust. I would bathe in it. The only thing is the service. It varies, some days good, some days not so much. It's worth going and I'll continue to go
