Great food and good customer service!! Wait is kind of long but I guess it's worth it. Went to other 54th grills and I would say this one has the best customer service out of them all. Would definitely come back and always leaving a big tip :)

I had ordered a diet-friendly meal of grilled chicken breast, veggies, and rice.  I have to say I was not looking forward to it.  I was there for "Guy's Night Out" that my friends have once a month.  I was there to socialize more than I was to eat.  I was pleasantly surprised by a very tasty dish.  I found it online:

Grilled Chicken & Rice Platter ...11.29
A fire-grilled chicken breast topped with Colby jack cheese, sautéed mushrooms, peppers and onions. Served on a bed of wild, garden rice with grilled pineapple and steamed vegetables.

OK, so the Colby jack cheese isn't exactly diet-friendly but have you seen their menu?!?  Chicken Fried Chicken, Country Fried Steak, Baja Biggie Baskets, 14 oz Ribeyes, oh my!  It took restraint, folks.

Solid place to eat with a huge variety and excellent service.

Looked like a chain, but close to the hotel and I hate KC driving. It was very good, the people were nice and I would go back again.

I went to 54th Street around 10 PM after work with a co-worker.

Their margaritas are huge and only $3.99 during their night time happy hour.

I also had their potato skins appitizer.

Everything was delicious and our server was attentive but 54th Street doesn't stand out at all from another Applebee's or Chile's or TGI Friday's. They all seem the same.

Huge portions and great food! The seating is a little packed and atmosphere is busy.

    3 1/2 STARS.

We came here during a raging blizzard.... hence... there were about 2 parties inside.

BEST PART OF THE MEAL:  STRAWBERRY LEMONADE.  You get one free refill (they are huge), but I always wait till the very end, so that I can get it in a to-go cup!  They are bigger, so you get more for your money.

We ordered an appetizer of their house Gringo Dip -- a cheese dip with a kick that comes with chips to dip it in.  It was really tasty.

I got the Cajun Cheesesteak Sandwich with fries and a side of their house ranch.  Sandwich was a bit salty, but tasty overall.  It is really filling and packs a powerful array of flavors.  Fries are awesomely seasoned and the ranch is absolutely delicious.

Chris got the Cowboy Steak Sandwich with fries and a side of their house honey mustard.  When asked about his sandwich over Skype, Chris raves, "Easily one of the best chain restaurants in the same vein as Applebee's, Chili's or Sullivan's.  Top of the top.  Tremendous sandwich and super attentive waitress who was constantly coming back to check for drink refills [again, we were one of 3 parties in the restaurant, so we aren't sure how valid that is]."

Give me a beer and a sandwich with fries please.

When I want to eat American and get a stuffed tummy I come to 5th Street Grill & Bar. The first thing I ask for is a 24 ounce Guinness beer(see posted pictures). Mmmmm beer. Then after salivating over the menu I pick out something to fit my mood. Today I chose the "Blackened Chicken Grille"(description below). The atmosphere says "drink up and have fun". Although it is sometimes loud I always  have a good time. The staff is friendly and they always seat you fast. I wish they had one of these in Denver.

I recommend 54th Street Grill & Bar for a casual fun and tasty lunch or dinner.

    Blackened Chicken Grille
A fire-grilled chicken breast, coated in our special blend of cajun spices and blackened on the grill, topped with grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, and jalapeno bacon. Served with fries.

54th Street has always been my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the food doesn't take forever to get to your table.

This place is awesome. The food is really good. It has your typical American food but its really good. The staff is supper friendly, and the prices are alright. I definitely recommend to everyone to try this place.

Great food, great atmosphere, great time. During waiter/waitress change they can be kind of slow at helping you, but the manager made everything good.
