It's hard to just review this station as it's basically a platform.
Overall the N line is a useful line and in combination with the K/T line it makes getting downtown nice and easy!
For my location this is a godsend. -

The 4th & King N-Judah station has got a lot of platform space, which is important because Caltrain is nearby, but it still feels crowded for some reason. I realize that most people will be waiting on the part of the platform that the train will actually stop near, but would it kill Muni to place a couple more NextMUNI displays around the station? From the middle of the station, it's almost impossible to tell when the next train is departing.
They've solved the pedestrians-acting-stupidly problem involving the nearby T-Third station about as well as they could, but I think it would help to give the two stations completely different names so that people think of them as completely different places. I know it's just a semantic thing, but semantics often play a larger role in people's decision-making and general thinking than we, um, think.Listed in: Muni!

Why do SOME of the train drivers insist on NOT opening the doors when they are waiting for the light? They see us coming yet the handful of drivers who play god don't flinch. People push and push the little white button and the doors don't open. If you hate your job let's give it to someone who does.

save the best for last, right? or maybe this isn't the last stop depending on the direction you're headed. anyway...
i like this station because it's not underground so it doesn't have urine ladened stairs or escalators with handrails i'm afraid to touch. there's a "view" when i'm waiting for the train and by view, i mean staring into the cars that are stuck at the red light and making the driver uncomfortable. just kidding, i don't do that.
oh this is super shallow but the folks who get on here are a pretty bunch. most of them get off by the embarcadero station, which would explain why i never saw them before getting on at 4th and King. what can i say, i appreciate scenery.Listed in: in my neck of the woods
