Glad to see that Ruby Skye has accomodated the non-tech house heads like myself and remodeled the smoking room into 4Fourteen. DJs spin soulful house, hiphop mash ups here and I'm definitely jonesin'. I love the ample couch seats and spacious dancefloor with huge monitors which amplifies the awesome beats and riffs.

It serves as an alternative if you're not feelin' the main room's music and headliner.

They also have their own bar inside 4Fourteen!

4Fourteen is the newly renovated upstairs room to Ruby Skye.

Previously this area was a a smoking patio, but now it is its own lounge.  This past weekend was its grand opening with mainly it being for private events only. It may sometimes be open part of Ruby Skye, but 2 nights out of this past weekend, it was a separate event.

I came here on Sunday night for a private birthday party.  Open Bar with Grey Goose - holla! (Side note, ladies there's a hottie Irish/Chinese bartender named Owl who's GREAT eye candy to look at while he's pouring you your drinks. :) )

White leather seats, with tables all around for bottle service. a decent size area to dance and the one bar in the back.

Brian Salazar and 4Fourteen saved my night.

Downstairs Martin Roth was disappointing. His remixes of To The Six (http://www.youtube.com...) and Summer Breeze (http://www.youtube.com...) are exceptional, but as I found out last night, his sets lean more towards techy house. Not my scene.

Fortunately upstairs the once smoke infested lounge has been transformed into a sexy, sleek second room, and Mr. Salazar was laying down the house beats that would have been right at home at Mighty. Glad to see we now have another option on the rare evenings Ruby Skye's headliner disappoints.

Decent place. Went there for the grand opening on Thursday. It was a good time, but I think it was primarily because of the open bar. It was really jammed around 10.30 pm, but got pretty empty around midnight.

    + Good music
    + Nice decor and atmosphere
    + Good crowd
    - Expensive drinks

This was the upstairs part of Ruby Skye. Although I am more of a house head than hip hop (which was playing in 4Fourteen), the selection was good and it was nice to get away from the packed dance floor for a little bit. There was constantly a flow of people coming and going from the room so it was pretty easy to get a seat which was nice after dancing in those sexy shoes that look incredible but really hate you after dancing. The decor was sleek and slightly sexy and there was plenty of space on the dance floor. This was definitely a wonderful addition to Ruby Skye.

Very cool and stylish addition to Ruby Skye, however, I do miss the smoking room! Hopefully, Ruby will soon remodel the rest of the club to look like the 4fourteen room!

-1 star for the choice of music. Ruby Skye is a dance/house club, not a top40 joint, so it shouldn't lose its identity in attempt to attract more "diverse" crowd.

If based on the music alone I would give this new space 10 stars, the sound system is unreal and Dj CAMS is a sure thing everytime everywhere he spins period.  The only problems for me were the overall space(super small) and the fact that if you remember what this area used to look like you will be bummed on its updated version.  The windows that opened and overlooked mason street were amazing but they are know covered by vegas bling wall pieces.boo.  I was told by the bartender that they ONLY serve top shelf in this VIP shoe box so your starting at $10 for a drink, overall an ok space, but why ruin a good thing, the old space was better.  But if CAMS is spinning ill be back, which I believe is every thursday?

I been going to this club for a century now or so it seems...although I never really care for the crowd, I must say they bring great DJs to rock the house!  The reason for the 3 stars only is because they need to have more seats and better service.  My friend and I try to get VIP booth several weeks back and no one return our emails or better yet pick up the phone.  I mean if you're open for business why not pick up the phone.  After a week of trying through email and calling finally we were told its too late they were  sold out only to have one booth left but it was in the back.  Really? Why would we want a booth in the back where we can't see the DJ or dance floor if we're gonna pay top dollars for it? That's a joke! Oh and who ever picked up the phone on March 26th around 8pm that night was a FAT AZZ liar! How the hell you're gonna tell customers you guys were sold out on front door tickets for that nights event and when midnight came people were still in line buying tickets! Damn liar! He needs to be fire!
