I have been coming to 400 East for about 15 years and I have never had a bad meal. The food is consistently good as is the service. The menu itself is limited buy they have a good selection of specials every night. If you're looking for a good restaurant with reasonable prices, this is the place.

The basics: 400 East has a traditional American menu- steaks, burgers, pizza, chicken with various specials daily. The pizza is very thin crusted like flatbread and is occassionally a little burned. The fried chicken is traditional and tasty. The steaks are large and served with vegetables. The sandwiches are piled high. The Happy Hour appetizer is inexpensive. Don't expect anything gourmet, just basic, hearty food, though overpriced like most Cape retaurants.
Ambiance: Dark, uninspiring, geared toward retirees. The bar is small and usually full of regulars who know each other by name.
Service: Always fast and friendly. -

Steady place. Been here once a year for many years now. A great local place with reliable food, good drinks and very good service. I can't think of anything bad about it.... but reserve 5 stars for places that really rock.

Food were average. It's place where everyone can find something they like. Prices were high in my opinion given the location and quality of food. We spent $180 for eight people which included two kids. Service was low to average.

I came here with my girlfriend later one night after she got off work. Kitchen closes at 10pm but the bar stays open till after midnight. Bartenders are very friendly and the drinks are STRONG. Atmosphere is nice as they have good music and plenty of flat screen as the bar to watch all you sporting events. This is definitely a place for the locals and area business employeess come here after their shifts are done. Only downfall is the bar has limited seating and it can fill up quick.

Nice bar and restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, and the menu is very complete and good. Service is quick, etc. Definitely worth checking out. Not incredible, though, but definitely adequate.

I've been here a number of times and always get good food and quick service. This was the first time going here 'in season' in a few years. Whata price difference. I still like the place and food is good. I'll save it until the tourists have gone home.

I've only had ribs here and they're great. Great service. Food comes quickly. Nothing bad about the place.
