I love how this place throws private events for its customers. It's a great LCS and I really haven't run into a spot as awesome as this. I know I have one closer to me, but I for sure am willing to drive uptown to grab some stuff here.
Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Seriously is one of the best comics shops in the IE. -

Chris and Chris make one hell of a dynamic duo. 4 color is what a true comic shop should be. They will be supplying all the new valiant titles, freaking great!

Clean, bright, colorful, and friendly! With a fair selection of figures and trades, tables for card games, a nice TV playing geeky shows and flicks, and computers for online gaming, this place is geek paradise! My one gripe is that although 4 Color always has the latest stuff in, but isn't really useful for back issues beyond 2005...and the last 3 times I tried to stop in, they were closed for strange reasons during regular hours...what?
Definitely worth a trip out for the fun, though!Comment from Christopher B. of 4 Color Fantasies 2/21/2012

I can't believe I haven't written a review for my fav comic book store.
Great customer service, owner and people are really friendly. They know their stuff. Have great posters and replicas of superheroes displayed..last time i went i believe there was the silver surfer and the hulk displayed. Along with the comics are the busts and figurines displayed and for sale around the place.
This is where I got into some of my favorite comics, I was actually going here for their internet area playing MMO's then eventually cruised over and got interested in their comics.
I also went to one of their private screenings. That time it was the movie Captain America, that they sponsored in the Edwards movie theatre. Got me a free shirt to the event and they had some raffle drawings for really good stuff, unfortunately i didn't win anything but such is life. Even if i move out of the area, this is still my place to go to. -

I was eating at wing stop with a couple friends. We were walking after the meal was done, looking at the stores and talking.
I stumbled in thinking the store was something else. To my surprise it was a comic book store. I don't really know anything about comic books, but I ended up staying there looking at all the stuff for over 30 mins.
This is the only comic book store Ive ever been too, and i have too say i was impressed.Comment from Christopher B. of 4 Color Fantasies 7/14/2011

Love this shop. All of the staff are very friendly. I had to stop collecting comic books a little over year ago; and before that I was at the shop weekly. Just a few days ago I came in to pick up some trades that I had missed the single issues of and the employee remembered me and was still just as friendly even though I'm no longer a member of their "Geek Club" (which has tremendous benefits, by the way.) Great place. I will still come here to pick up my trades, and what not.

Sorry I took so long to write this!
I found out about this store when I attended a movie premire at Edwards Theater in Ontario. They had a booth set up and were very helpful in getting their message across of obtaining customers to participate in their own upcoming movie premiere event. A few days later I headed to their store to purchase an advance ticket for the Green Lantern event and I must say I was severely impressed.
The owner even said hello to me BEFORE I walked into the store as I was making a phone call before I entered and he was loading stuff into a vehicle, The staff in the store was very welcoming and professional which I believe was a reflection on the owner. The store was crowded with people getting set to what I believe was a "battle royal" in a Magic or RPG game. I have no idea how to play those games but the excitement in the air was keeping me very interested. The people that were coming in out fo the store reminded me of a scene from 'Cheers' because the staff knew almost everyone in their store and everyone was happy to be there. I continued to look around the store at all of the cool collectibles and the clothing. There is a ton of really cool stuff to buy in this store! The staff was very helpful when I asked certain questions about merchandise and they didn't make me feel as if I was bothering them like some other similar stores. With a store like this, you have to able to help all sorts of customers, not just the ones who are active in the Comic or RPG world.
As I was about to leave, I remembered to buy my movie ticket and I started asking a couple of guys behind the counter some questions about some of the comic characters and also the movie event. They were extremely accomodating and didn't make feel like an idiot because of my 'non-comic' knowledge. I've been to a couple of other similar stores here in Rancho Cucamonga and when I would even give the slightest hint that I didn't know something, I was made to feel like an ass. Great job on customer service guys, keep it up!
P.S. I later found out that the Marvel character shirt my wife had bought me for my birthday back in June came from this store! -

The store owners of this place are good. Real good. To show you how well they do their job at making you feel like a regular, this place isn't my normal spot and I think Ive been here a handful of times in the last three years, but every time I run into them at comic book conventions or other shows, they remember me by name and greet me with a handshake.
That says a lot about the shop. You may not be a regular, but they're damn sure going to remember who you are and shoot the breeze with you.
This is one of those half comics/half computers places, it really serves a good purpose in the 909 (oddly enough, this is review 909) in getting computer games, comics and all the hobby stuff out of the way.
The selection of books is pretty stellar. They have a lot of the new release stuff and they're always on top of books coming out. Have a very extensive trade collection and their statues/toys/etc. stuff is really off the hook.
While I may not make my way to the 909 as often as I.. well, let's be honest here, who the hell wants to go to the 909? I think that whenever I am stuck in the area, this is the one glimmer of hope of actually enjoying my time there.
Great employees and their events are often very big. I'd drive out for free comic book day here. They really go all out. -

After checking out various comic book stores in the Inland Empire, this is one of the better, well stocked, and friendly comic book stores. Clean, organized, with an internet / game center in half the store, and more character models and card game related material than you may even knew existed, the store is neat and a pleasant experience.
And, as a customer, you can tell the shop keepers are comic book and game fans. And the people who work there are friendly and helpful and resourceful!
This year's "Free Comic Book Day" event at this shop was wonderfully organized, fun, and who doesn't like "free hot dogs".
The hours are wonderful because they close later than most comic book stores. While other comic book stores close between 5pm - 7pm, this comic book store closes 10pm or later.
I can blame this store for my renewed interest in comic books again. Fuck. -

Organized, well-stocked, wide variety, knowledgeable staff, late closing times, good atmosphere.
This is one of the better comic book shops in the Inland Empire. -

This place is usually my last resort when I'm looking for a comic that is sold out everywhere. The staff is friendly and pretty much knows when everything is coming out. The place also doesn't smell like a day-old bean & cheese burrito (think Frank and Sons), so they get a star for that.
What I like about this place is that they have merch beyond comic books. They have figures, t-shirts, art books, and other collectibles that I like looking at but never buy because I like buying make up instead of collectable figures. Also, the hours are pretty good, thanks to the guys who like to hang out here all hours of the day. -

If I owned a comic book shop, I'd want it to be like this.
Clean, well-lit, organized shop with a very helpful, friendly, professional staff. Excellent inventory of comics (new and back issue), graphic novels, various toys, cards, clothing. They also offer online gaming. I've been collecting for 30 some years and I've been to most of the shops in the IE and close by...this is definitely THE shop in the IE.Comment from Christopher B. of 4 Color Fantasies 12/24/2010

What can I say about 4 Color Fantasies? POW! ZAP!! KA-BOOM!!! Those are just a few of the action packed words that come to mind. This is by far the best comic book shop I've ever been to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and happy to talk about anything comic related. They'll set a weekly pull list for you, so you never have to worry about being the first one in the store to get that one particular issue, because it'll already be behind the counter waiting for you. And you'll know that for a fact, since they send out a weekly update to your pull list inventory and what's going to be in your box. The store itself is very well stocked not only with all the current issues, but tons of back issues as well. They also have great tournaments for all sorts of collectible card games, with some really neat prizes. The staff will sometimes also plan opening movie nights for certain films at the Edwards Cinema in Ontario, where they'll book an entire theater, and have goody bags and drawings for some incredible collectible objects. So if you're an avid collector of comics and you're looking for a great store to get your weekly fix or you're just looking for that special item for the comic person in your life, stop on by 4 Color Fantasies -- they'll be happy to help you out!

Probably the most upkept and nice comic shop I've ever been to. The selection there is varied and sizable and the staff's friendly.
