Excellent place to spend the weekend in Port Aransas. Just a couple minutes walk to the beach, near good restaurants, and very friendly/helpful staff. Hotel has a nice hottub and pool, 3-4 bikes that are free to use. We stayed a two-bedroom with a full kitchen and had a blast. We'll definitely stay here when we come back this way. Also offers a military discount.

If you are looking for a pet friendly and kid friendly place to stay in Port Aransas, 3rd Coast Inn is it.
Newly refurbished, kitchenettes, 1 and 2 bedrooms. There are only 6 or 7 rooms, so call ahead, but they are inexpensive, nicely decorated in a beach theme, has an AWESOME pool and hot tub that is fenced in. They have barbques and a smoker for the guests to use. Literally, 15 feet away is a mini mart so you can pack up the cooler, get a light breakfast, whatever before you go 2 blocks down to the beach. There is great pizza just across the street and the Speghetti and Seafood restaurant around the corner is good too. When you check in with your pet, you get a basket with towels for them, poopie bags, doggy bisquits and a list of pet friendly restaurants and info about the island.
I can honestly not say one negative thing about this Inn. It is as good as it gets for Pet Friendly hotels on the beach. GO THERE! You will see what I mean. -

We stayed in many places on Ave.G but whats this tucked away on station street? Its "3rd Coast Inn"! We were blown away, this place is awesome and pet friendly. They have an awesome hot tub and beautiful pool. We where totally at home here. We were sad when it was time to pack up and go home :( We definitely will be returning soon! Best place on the island hands down!

7 room motel, local owned and ran, newly remodeled entirely, great prices, pet friendly, pool and hot tub, picnic tables, free wifi, fluffy towels and nice comforters, quiet, quaint and feels like home, 3 blocks to the beach within walking distance of everything, friendly staff
