3rd and Army isn't the "newspot" anymore, but its a classic. Its a bit out of the city, but thats perfect - hassle free.

It's the type of place I always wished was right out my back door; unfortunately it's not. It's definitely a sick spot. There is plenty of open space to skate and often plenty of people to share it with.

Good space. Good vibes..... most of the time. A little windy as the day goes on. Not that many people here during the weekdays. Had to minus a star for the sketchy ass guy living in the RV right across, the homeless guy sleeping on the ledge, broken beer bottles, and the crazy guy who was on acid and jumped into the nasty water. If you're hungry, walk up the street for a quick taco or burrito from the taco truck. Or drive up to the deli and grab a quick sandwich.

Another legendary skate spot. The ledges are rounded to hell, but it's still super fun.

besides the usual complaints of wind and messed up ledges, this is a nice spot to go when you want to skate without worrying about anyone kicking you out or getting up in your grill. rows of ledges right next to the water and graffiti covered buildings, it's beautiful. besides, the wind really helps my manuals out sometimes! i miss that little quarter pipe that used to be there but theres a new one now. not the same but its good too.
