Got my eye brows done with Lisa. Yes, this place is more expensive than many salons and you might ask why....good question! Lisa is worth it, the tatoo is hairline thin and looks super natural. Don't fall for those $100 places that leave you with a big fat solid black line across over each eye. I can tell right off when I talk to women when they have been to those places. Shame of them for going cheap on THEIR FACE!
I have an appt to get my eye lids done this wednesday. Will revise my review after my appt and I'm almost ready for my yearly touch-up. Did it May 2011.

Got my eye liner tatooed...I LOVE IT!! I'm going back tmrw for the free touch up. Will request a tiny bit thicker. No more eye lining my eyes...yippey!!
Next: I am booking an appt to get my lips lining tatooed...will keep you posted.
ONE COMPLAINT: I think my eye brow retouch it TOO DARK. I will talk to Lisa about it tmrw...BE CAREFUL. Don't let her talk you into getting too dark of a color. I have blond highlights and I really wish my brows were lighter.

I went in for my eyeliner touch up. I love my permenant eyeliner so much! I mentioned to Lisa about the dark eyebrow color and sure enough, she redid them for me~right after my eyeliner touch-up. Lisa lighten the color and by re-tatooing over the dark tatoo. It looks alot better and I am very happy!! Lisa really cares to keep her customers coming back. NEXT...now, I want to get my LIP LINER done!! Will keep you posted! :) -

This review is based off my experience back in December of 2009.
I researched online to find a good eyebrow tattoo artist and found 3d eyebrow. I also remembered hearing a friend of a friend's who had gone there. So I scheduled an appointment to see Lisa. I thought the consultation was good, then booked an appointment to get it done. I brought a friend with me since I'm anal and wanted someone who can see if my eyebrows were symmetrical since you view yourself in a hand mirror differently. Lisa was very rude and impatient during the experience. Everytime my friend said, "no this side is higher/thinner/thicker, she said, no its fine." I am paying $350 cash pre-tip for semi-permanent eyebrows. I think anyone want them adjusted to their liking. She tried to make me think it was just me. That no one has symmetrical eyebrows. Yes, no one has NATURAL symmetrical eyebrows, but if you are tattooing them on from scratch then you can!!!
Second time coming in for my touch up, I brought a different friend. And she also thought Lisa was rude.
I never went back. And I also, never referred her.
I found a different lady in area, with whom I've already referred 8 people to her and all have loved her.
If I were you and your hesitant about doing any semi-permanent/permanent makeup you want someone who understands your concerns and does what you ask. Its your face.
I heard her prices went up also.
Go at your own risk. I hope you have a better experience. -

Lisa is by far the best in the business. I went in for a free consultation with my mom to simply to view the in office photos. Her work in the photos was sooooo amazing. After viewing the photos, Lisa cleaned my brow and then began to shape (with an eyeliner) my brow to show me what the finished work would like. I did not give her any instruction on how I wanted my brow to look she just went for it and made my brow look sexy and amazing. I was so happy with her shaping skills (with the eyeliner) that my mom & I both ended up having our brows done right there on the spot.
To date, it has been almost 1-year and my brows still remain a work of art both sexy and natural looking. None of my friends can even tell that my brows are tattooed.
Next month, I am due for my 1-year touch up and I must say that Lisa's work is so amazing that I may not even need to have the touch up done. My brows are flawless to say the least. -

It's very hard to find a "feather stroke" tattoo artist, so after finding Lisa's website I took the drive from Orange County to El Monte to check her out. What a find!!! Her work is beautiful. I had my eyebrows tattooed about 10 years ago when all they did was "fill" in the eyebrow. Lisa actually does feather strokes of hair to make it look so real! She's very sweet and knows her stuff. Takes time when picking out the color and I've actually gone places today and not said anything to my family and noone
has noticed a thing!
At the price of $390 it is a bargain! Well worth every penny. She also does a 3 to 6 week touch up for free.
I'm definitely happy with her service and will refer her as many patients as I can.

I came back for a 1 year touch-up and Lisa totally remembered me! The touch-up looks great, in fact I think she was more meticulous than even the first time around. Like I said, she has a gift for drawing brows and I've looked better as a result of it. I am also happy to report that her professionalism and service is just as awesome as a year ago.
I think I mis-stated the prices earlier but it is accurately:
3D Eyebrow - $395
Touch up: $150
She also does eyelash extensions for $150PT. I have another year of perfectly shaped brows that make it more than worth a couple of hundred bucks.
Over the months, alot of Yelpers have been emailing me questions, so here are some tips.
1. Should I, How Much should I Tip - I would tip the standard beauty salon percentage.
2. Let her draw them in and tattoo according to her recommendation no matter how different it looks from when you draw them in. Seriously. When I first came in her drawing looked so different from "my way", nut I look so much better with her design. You won't regret it.
3. Post tattoo care - I don't think you need any special creams and it doesn't really peel or anything but sunblock may not hurt for the fist few days. You can wash your face and take a shower right after the procedure.

Had my consultation on 10/21.. They told me just to walk in. The place was very nice, clean and smelled really good. I was impressed in what Lisa can do. Showed me how her technique was different than the regular tattoos and showed me how my eyebrows would look when she's done. I loved it. She was booked up to 2 weeks but she squeezed me in on her day off which was nice of her to do... So in 3 days I will have them done. I will follow up on it and finished my review then. But so far, I very happy with their customer service..
10/24 I came in and Lisa took me in.. She stenciled in my eye brows to make sure that it's how I wanted it. She's very precise and serious about her work. You can hardly feel the pain when she's working on your face.. I recommend her advise. She knows what she's talking about..
10/25 went to work and no one has noticed that I got them done. I cant wait til it heals to get the full effects of the 3D eyebrows.. I go back 3-8 weeks for my touch up if need be..
Very happy and I recommend her to anyone and everyone!! Took me 3 months to debate on this subject cuz I didn't want it to look fake or look like I used a sharpie to draw them in. Luckily my friend recommended her cuz I was looking into different people that did tattoo eyebrows.. Nothing like how Lisa does it. I'm glad I waited instead of having someone else do it.
11/19 - I have scheduled my touch up in a week. I'm still happy with the results.. I have a friend that is getting hers done with Lisa soon. I have no regrets. -

My rating is solely based on Lisa's work for 3-D Eyebrows.
I actually liked shading in my light hairs in every morning cause i already had a nice shape & brows make such a BIG difference!

during the day when i have that itch on my brow i cant scratch, i have to poke it with the corner of my acrylic nail cause after 5 hours it would get kinda greasy.. ladies yah' know what i mean! so the color doesn't rub off..
i admit i do know how to do my own brows already, so when i came in to get a consultation with Lisa, she liked my shape already and im sure that made her job that much easier!
cause im sure girls go in there bare, and confused! you need to know how you want your brows shaped, 100% sure. you cant be 50/50 or you wont like the results. that simple.
it has been a few months since my 2nd touch up session and so far so good. im HAPPY as long as they didn't look fkd up honestly.
Why i knocked off a star.
**After the first session they turned out beautiful! but gradually overtime the color faded dramatically and i noticed a patch that was missing.. and one side was thicker than the other :-/
problem was.. i preferred the thinner side.. but that was out of the question.
2nd time around i told her to fill in the patch and bring the other line longer to make them even.
it looks great.. i still have to shade(charcoal brown, M.A.C) them in when i go out, so they have a more dramatic, sharp effect.
but now it's just easier
my makeup routine is easier.
i can now focus more on other things than worrying if my brows are even or not!
a con that i have come to realized is that you need to come into this really wanting to have this procedure done, it is a commitment.
i can't shape my brows the way i want them anymore, its one shape only.
there are days i wish i could do my brows thinner!!!!!!!!!!
i look back and see my old photos, and loved my "Nike Check" BROWS!!
i used to get compliments EVERYDAY on my brows when i did it myself, but now.. those compliments have silenced :-(
i brought in my mother for her brows too, she had the traditional tattoo, and lisa did a great job on making her lines closer in width! she hid the old tattoo well.
prices steep for the first session.
$400 for each person, than i think $150 after that?? -

Lisa is a brow fairy/genius. She's a perfectionist and knows how to shape brows according to what you have and how you like to shape them. I had a crappy ass brow tattoo that I had to cover up with make up and re-draw in every damn day. Lisa worked with what I had and gave me brows that I now don't have to touch up at all.
It's a priceless feeling to be able to go to the gym, workout, swim, etc., without feeling self conscious about your eyebrows smearing, wiping off or not being there at all. Lisa isn't cheap but this is a something that is going to be on your face, not your arm, leg or back...on your face. So look no further - set up a free consultation and you'll understand what I'm saying :) -

I've had my eyebrows tattooed in the past, and the technique was the usual "fill in" method. I discovered Lisa website two years ago and was really interested. I called for a consultation and was sold immediately when she showed me what it could look like. I just got my second yearly retouch in Nov 2011. The results are so awesome I had my mom get her's done as well. Co workers have told me my eyebrows are so perfect and I tell them my secret they are so shocked. It's worth the money and save time doing makeup. I can just focus on the eyes. Now if I can find a place that tattoos the waterline and give me a shot I would be so happy. Thanks 3D EYEBROW.

Lisa is awesome. She is beyond amazing. I love what she's done to and for my eyebrows.
Their business is very clean, relaxing and quiet. The customer service is impeccable. Lisa is a true professional and extremely nice. I believe her sister, Linda, does facials. I haven't gone in for one so I'm not sure what that's like. This review is for Lisa and her work with permanent makeup, specifically, eyebrows.
I went there last year to get my eyebrows done. I've never had anything permanent done to my face so I was really nervous. She completely put me at ease by telling me everything she was going to do, showing me the tools she'll be using and asking me what shape I was looking for.
She drew my eyebrows in and asked me if I liked it. I got a slight case of cold feet and asked her to redraw them in thinner. She did what I asked and tattooed them in.
Now, I wish I had gone with her original shape. Ladies (and fellas), do yourself a favor and go with her judgement. She takes in the shape of your face and then draws a very flattering and natural shape that compliments you.
You're probably wondering if it hurts. It doesn't. She applies a cream that kind of numbs your skin around the eyebrows. You wait a while and then, before you know it, it's your turn! I didn't feel much of anything the last time besides a few zings here and there. Ditto for this time around. Now that the cream has worn off, it just feels like I sunburned my eyebrows. It's definitely tolerable and not painful.
Oh, Lisa!!! Why did I ever doubt you???!!!
This might be TMI, but here's a tip for the ladies. Lisa once told me it's harder for her to deposit the ink in the skin when Aunt Flo is visiting, if you know what I mean. Something about faster blood circulation equals less ink staying where it's supposed to stay. Just sayin'.
I went to go get my touch up done today and I am so happy with the results. They look completely natural. I love it and have no idea why I didn't do this sooner. -

I had my eyebrows done on 12/23/11. I will go back on 1/27/12 for my free touch-up. There has been a little bit of fading and I think the touch-up will fill in any sparse spots. Overall my experience was excellent. I trusted other yelpers and let Lisa design my brow arch and choose a color. I love that I now have eyebrows and can just fill them in a bit with make-up. For someone with very, very sparse eyebrows (like me) the tattoo doesn't really look natural, but once you add a bit of make-up it's picture perfect. This is fine with me since the tattoo provides a pattern for me to fill in. I am not embarrassed to go without make-up any more since the tattoos do look natural from a normal distance (i.e. to pick up starbucks or something in the morning) whereas previously I would never-ever leave the house without putting on eyebrows first.

This is a very overdue update.
I got to 3d eyebrow to discuss with Lisa of my problem and she was very attentive and listen to my every concern and seem sad to hear i was disappointed in some areas but she was able to fix everything and even came in on her day off to do it. Technically i didnt know it was her off day.
some areas dont really look natural now since its the second touch up but not that noticeable so far. other than that im a happy camper now. Alert! 0 star to the facial department. Machines are old, no running water. Imagine if you have a chemical peel, and that bowl of water is not clean enough to be reused again. Had moles removed by the machine and the scars were there for more than a year. Just very old and unpredictable machines. She should have done it over a few sessions. Dermabrasion cost over $100 which includes painful but the heads are not out extractions. I have told the lady NOT to extract the acne as told my MD. She still go for it and made it infected. The scraps do go away, but the chance of having infection is not worth it. Time to go to Skin Revolution. I don't want to rate this since it will affect Lisa's rating.
BUT 5 STARS TO EYE BROW TATTOO!! Because of Lisa, I can save 15 minutes each morning doing make up. I can go in and out of a pool and still look great. Lisa is able to wash away my old badly tattooed color block eyebrows that I had for years and in return, give me something very natural looking. It's has been over 1 year, I am planning to go back to her to just touch up a bit and shape it differently also. I will try her new 3 D eyebrow with 2 tones color this time. -

Well, it's been exactly 6 months since I had my eyebrows done and I have to admit it was the best thing I've ever done for myself!! Back in the day I use to have great looking eyebrows, but like everyone else I was constantly plucking & shaving them according to the style at the time and as a result of that, my eyebrows were less than perfect, but thanks to 3d Eyebrow Tattoo I have my perfect eyebrows back!! I'm looking forward to my next touchup next year. I live out of state but it gives me an excuse to go to Cali! Highly recommend 3d to anyone or I should say everyone with less than perfect eyebrows, you' ll never regret it!

This is place is awesome! Lisa is extremely professional. She took the time to listen to what my concerns were and then took my input into account while also sharing with me her expert thoughts on my eyebrows. I got my consultation and tattoo on the same day because I loved it so much. She was also very flexible with time. You can tell she's very good and proud of what she does and shows it by her attention to detail and being very meticulous. I can't wait to come back for maintenance!
Updated 8/22/10: So it's been several months since I got my eyebrows done and I'm still loving it. It's so nice to do summer activities while sweating and melting in the sun, and STILL have eyebrows. Healing time was fast (a little peeling but not in a sunburn kind of way). Loves! -

I always go to Lisa or Linda to get my eyelashes done for a big day. They recently did my eyelashes for my wedding. I got SOOO many compliments about my eyelashes. My whole family goes to them. They are always friendly, caring and professional. There prices are reasonable and best of all they do beautiful work. I've also done the permanent eyebrow tattoo. I have low pain tolerance but the tattoo part was not so bad. It is definitely worth it ! I would high recommend it. It looks so natural nobody believe my eyebrows are tattooed.

I just got my eyebrows done today and I love them! I made an appointment for a consultation for my mom and I because both of us already had tattoo's from a previous place but it had faded and became discolored. Lisa was very professional and took the time to show us pictures of what 3D eyebrow's looked like and even drew them in with a brow pencil for us to see what the final results would look lie. If you're thinking about getting your brow's done this is the place!

I had silver hair and no eyebrows. Then I found Lisa Wang. I still have silver hair but I now have eyebrows. She is fabulous, and is so artistic. I went for my free consultation and was put completely at ease by her. She drew on me what my tattoo'd eyebrows would be like, and I was totally amazed. I went back in 3 weeks to get them done and words don't even express how happy I am with the whole experience. Her place is clean, relaxing and she is so professional. I don't know much about eyebrows, but she does, and I went with her advice for the best look for mine. I am not disappointed. I will be going back in a few weeks for my touchup. Nobody that has seen me since i had them done, has asked if they are a tattoo. They look like hair with the tiny strokes that she uses. This is the best thing i have ever done for myself. So ladies, did i tell you i'm 63 years old, and feel so young again. If you want beautiful brows. don't hesitate, JUST DO IT! Go for your free consultation and you will want what I have. Getting my eyebrows tattooed by Lisa was the best decision! She takes her time, is meticulous and is truly an artist! You get high-end results and great customer service for a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is thinking about getting their eyebrows done for the first time or for people like me, who need a touch-up and repair.
