I've been coming here for about four years now and I only have great things to say about 360.
They offer an amazing kick boxing class that focuses on technique (especially to prevent unnecessary injury) and provides a muscle burning, sweat dripping workout. These classes are built in a way that the individual gets as much of a workout as he/she is willing to put into it (lazy day=damp shirt or day to kick some ass=drenched shirt). Additionally, the instructors all have their own style of teaching and emphasis. One in particular, a south afrikan fellow, enjoys taking the class through working pads in the midst of the normal heavy bag beat down. He's a quirky man, but I know his fighting experiences that he includes into his lessons have practical application. Although he can be direct with his observations and instructions, he cares for the wellbeing and success of his students.
I also love taking krav maga because it's fun and can be a great workout too sometimes. Krav is made to work for all people, big or small, young or old and as long as you keep an open mind about it, it'll be a good experience. -

The classes are good, but be careful with their billing company ASF International.
They will not allow to cancel your membership even after you complete the contract.
In their records I'm enrolled until 2039!! I have called them emailed sent letters and nothing.
360 you should not use this company, as it reflects poorly on you. -

This was my first time trying out a 'real' kickboxing class and I am hooked!
I've been taking kickboxing classes at 24 Hour Fitness for a while now, but they are in no comparison to the kickboxing classes at 360. What a great way to end a day by punching and kicking a bag for about an hour! I was extremely exhausted and sweaty by the end of the hour, but it was SO worth it. I don't recall being this sweaty and exhausted after a kickboxing class at 24 Hour.
The instructors are great because they push you and make it easy to learn the combos. Also, they will come by and make minor corrections so that you are punching and kicking properly.
The people here are friendly and most of them have been coming for a while or take other classes such as Cross Fit and Krav Maga.
Once in a while a class may get overcrowded, so you will have to share a bag, but that's not a big deal. You will still get a really good workout.
I highly recommend taking a kickboxing class with actual gloves and a bag. It will make you forget about the "cardio" kickboxing classes at 24 Hour. -

Finally an update...
Different days have different instructors, and they each have their own style of running the class and their own vibe in general. For the most part you start with stretches and some warm up reps like burpees, mountain climbers, squats, pushups, etc... but the push from the instructor and the type of reps you do varies. Some focus more on speed and power, others take a little more care on technique.
I actually really liked the fact that it's varied slightly. I always felt I got a good workout, but it wasn't always the same (even though you're basically doing the same things). The slight differences means a lot when it comes to fending off boredom (esp for me who's not usually a fan of exercise :)1 Previous Review: Show all »

Found this place through Groupon.
My first (and last) day, I was greeted by 2 friendly staff members. While waiting for class to start, it seemed as if everyone knew each other - which is a good thing! Class began with a male instructor with a European accent. He asked who was new, and I was the only one out of 13 people (6pm on a Tuesday so it wasn't too crowded!)
The kickboxing class takes place in a "cage" with about 15-18 bags. It's completely out in the open, so anyone outside the cage or peeking in the window can watch.
You start with warm up exercises which he doesn't demonstrate, he just yells out what to do. There were some that I had no idea what to do, and he didn't offer assistance when I had a confused look on my face.
After warm ups, everyone goes to a heavy bag for combinations. Some of them swung back and forth which was quite annoying! You have to chase it around to punch it after you kick it. Therefore, it didn't give much resistance. Anyways, he tells you what combos to do and demonstrates it once. (I've been taking kickboxing classes for a few years at other gyms so I know how to stand when punching/kicking, and what a jab, cross, hook, etc is. If I was completely new to kickboxing, I would have been completely lost because he didn't assist me and only demonstrated the combinations ONCE.)
Later, while doing punching combinations on the bag, the instructor calls me over to the side. He told me to punch the bag as he watched. So I got into my normal, comfortable orthodox stance that I've ALWAYS been doing, even in front of many other kickboxing instructors who have never said anything bad about it. He told me standing like that was wrong and I should punch the bag facing it. I told him it felt weird for me, and he told me "but that's the CORRECT way!!" How can you tell someone to completely change their stance?! Maybe that's his style of doing it and what he wants to teach people at that gym.. but it's interesting that the ONE thing he wanted to actually demonstrate to me was a stance, which I was already comfortable with to begin with.
At the end of the hour long class, everyone lines up and he talks to us about how we did, etc. Then he says "I don't wanna call anyone out, but this isn't the way you should punch! *demonstrates orthodox stance* If you want to get in a fight with someone, you're going to want to stand face to face like this *does the squaring up, face to face stance*" -- he's totally OBVIOUSLY calling ME out!! He goes off about how it's wrong and yadda yadda. (Just a thought: If you're standing face to face with someone in a fight and they pushed you really hard.. you have no leg back there to catch your fall like an orthodox stance has right?!)
Like I said, maybe that's HIS WAY of doing it, but I'm comfortable with MY WAY! Plus, I didn't go there to train to be an ultimate fighter!! I just wanted to work out!
Obviously other experiences may vary from mine, and there are other instructors. But that one bad first impression was the deal breaker. I got my refund back from Groupon, so I guess that gets a star =] -

I am in love with 360 Combat Club. The instructors are amazing, competent and genuinely nice. The classes are always fun, inspiring and most importantly, safe and educational.
Every month or so they have seminars such as "Self-defense for Women", "Knife-defense", "Low-light fighting & defense", "Ground fighting" etc. (all of which I have attended and think highly of).
If you want to learn how to defend yourself in "real life" Krav Maga teaches you all the dirty nasty tricks that would give you a better chance of survival or simply just getting out of a rotten situation. Their kick-boxing bag-class will improve your endurance and compliments the Krav Maga class well. I have yet to try out the cross-fit classes, although that class does look like a mouthful.Listed in: Stay Healthy: Body, Mind &…

This place is amazing! I finally used my Groupon for six kickboxing classes because it was expiring soon. I thought it's now or never, what do I have to lose? I didn't know what to expect and was a bit intimidated because I've never taken any kind of workout/fitness classes and I was going to be taking the classes solo. Well, I had nothing to worry about. I was the only newbie in the class but the regulars were super nice and helpful. The instructor, Joey, was great, walking me through the moves that were totally foreign to an uncoordinated person like myself. After the first class, I felt like I got my ass kicked because it was a hell of a workout!! But I loved it! I'm now down to my last "Groupon" class but I'm definitely signing up for kickboxing here, it's so worth it!

Review from Trevor J.
Long Beach, CA
I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review of this place!
About 2 years ago my beautiful wife, Stacey, decided she and my daughter Lynn needed some time apart from ol' Trevor J. This came as quite a shock to me, as I thought everything was going great, seeing as how we had just celebrated our 8 year anniversary at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. (I love the Deviled Eggs) with an after dinner movie (Deathrace. A must see IMHO). Plus I was about a week away from getting my braces off (12 years is enough, Dr. Weinstein!), meaning I could finally kiss my lovely bride.
The news of their departure sent my life in a tailspin. It was like my whole world had been destroyed overnight, much like the show "The Walking Dead", minus the zombies. I quickly replaced the void in my life with various vices, too many to name here. Before I knew it I had gained 160 lbs, only showered once a month, and fell asleep every night drunkenly singing a song I made up I called, "Stacey Erased Me". Needless to say, I was in a dark place. That's when neighbor and best friend, Frank, came knocking at my door.
Frank informed me he had begun dating Stacey and wanted to know if I'd be cool with Lynn calling him "Daddy". As I began to slam the door in Frank's face he mentioned he had joined a new gym called the 360 Combat Club. Having always been intrigued with any type of club (Founder of the Otter Pop Club, Simi Valley Chapter!), I listened further. Frank said they taught a weird Jewish martial art called simply "Cross Magoss", that was just DEVASTATING. He said I should tag along with him that very night and check it out. Having just run out of Munchies "Totally Ranch" Snack Mix, I said what the hay?
Whoo boy, did that work out kick my rear into gear! I loved it so much, I immediately signed up and have been going ever since. Now I'm down to my normal 120 lbs weight, showering every other day, and no longer sing the Stacey song nightly (though I do check her facebook nightly. Since when did you enjoy reading, Stace?) Thanks 360 Combat Club of Long Beach! -
Review from Amit S.
Before coming here I had been doing Taekwondo since I was 7 and after taking 4 years off, I decided to try something new.
I tried Muay Thai at another studio and the instructor was horrible. On top of that I was paying more for 3 classes a week than what I get here for UNLIMITED.
The instructors are great. They teach you and not just show you how to do something and walk away, they will critique you and show you how to do it better.
They specialize in Krav Maga self defense and in crossfit training. I had never done crossfit before, shit is intense!
There is a bag class aka cardio kickboxing which gets you sweating heavily while punching/kicking the bag.
Overall, great quality and price for everything! -

This place is simply the best out there. They offer so much value to your money.
They are the only school in Los Angeles and Orange County certified by the International Krav Maga Federation from Israel
All the instructors are certified by and mantain training standards of the International Krav Maga Federation,
They offer a 2 hour Krav Maga monthly workshop,
and they offer a 2 hour monthly fitness workout included in your membership.
This place has changed my life.. When I signed up I told myself I'll find time in my schedule to fit training in and now I train so frequently I have to find time to do other things! It's so addicting!
You do not need any experience in Martial Arts at all. Please come in and try a class. ITS WORTH IT! -

These guys know what they are doing!
They take the time to break the Krav Maga techniques down for the beginner and yet throw you right in the mix! The crossfit classes are above and beyond. Just when you think you don't have another rep in you they are there pushing and motivating you! That last round is the difference between 360 Combat Club and the place across the parking lot. I know I have given 110 percent when I leave. I am hooked! I recommend you visit when you're in the area and wanting to check out something to mix up your workouts!
And ladies, I've never felt more comfortable in a gym. -

The club's Crossfit and bag classes are really nice. However, do not provide this company with your credit card or bank account number. The contract out to a billing company that rips you off...
When I signed up, I was asked to pay my first and last months membership fees. Then, when I canceled, the billing company stated they did not have record that I paid my last months membership and that I needed this club to notify them that I had paid. It took me a month to get the club to contact the billing company. 3 months later, I am still dealing with my credit card co disputing the $175 charge. Additionally, the billing co. opened a second account in my name without my authorization and charged my twice on that account using my cc. I now have $525 disputed with this club/their billing company.
Be careful when dealing with this club and its billing co. -

You need to come here. No, really. It's not a question, or a suggestion. It's a fact.
If you work/live/play/frequently visit this area for any reason at all, stop by, check out the gym, and talk to the staff. It'll be the best thing you've ever done.
360 Tustin just opened, and the schedule is still being implemented, but it will include various levels of krav maga, bag boxing, thai boxing, and a full range of other fabulous activities that will cater to anyone looking for fitness, self-defense, fight training, or all of these together.
360 Long Beach is my current home gym, but I'm driving the 30 miles from home just to come here when I can, because it's worth it. You won't find a more dedicated, attentive, helpful, skilled, and/or friendly staff anywhere else, so seriously check it out. Moreover, the first class is free.
Check it out, check it out! You won't regret it. -

So I got a 6 class kickboxing special via Groupon a while ago and yesterday I finally tried it!!! I'm speechless!!! I always wanted to try a REAL kickboxing where you actually punch a bag, not air ad this was it! No, it was way better than I could have ever imagined! Starting with the friendly office girl Claire and ending with the friendliness of the people in the class!! I felt very comfortable in this mixed sees group and loved the instructions that Stephen (I believe that was his name), an instructor gave since I am a newbie. So worth trying! I'm addicted!

So, feeling a little sluggish? Watching a little too much TV? Want to be a little more of a badass? Check out 360 Combat Club. I joined with my husband about 8 months ago to learn Krav Maga (mainly just to humor him) and quickly became addicted. The classes are so much fun and different every time. No boring gym workout here! Constant action, constant learning - all with amazing instructors who really want you to do and be the best you possibly can. The people who train here are all super nice - no attitudes. And it is great for women - I have never felt uncomfortable or intimidated , even if I happened to be the only woman in class on a particular evening. Kickboxing classes are awesome - the best workout ever. My husband does the Crossfit classes and loves them. Basically, our only regret is that we didn't discover this place sooner!

Review from E. P.

If you are reading this review, you are likely interested in learning how to defend yourself and get in better shape. This is definitely the place to do it. The instructors are great and Krav Maga has got to be the most practical self defense system ever invented. Do yourself a favor and at least come in and try the free introductory class and see what it's all about. They won't bug you or pressure you, but you will want to join.
In the first two months I lost 20lbs and learned a lot of practical techniques for self defense in the real world. Techniques for fighting, breaking out of chokes and head locks, defending against and disarming armed attackers and more have all been covered in the first few months, and they truly feel like they would work in a life or death situation.
The instructors do a great job of ensuring that you actually learn and understand the moves. They are also fiendishly talented at making you push past your own physical limitations so that you improve your cardio health and build a mental toughness that will help you defend yourself even when you are exhausted or taken by surprise.
This is not a macho training center for thugs and pretend tough guys, so everyone will feel welcome. There are usually multiple women in most of my classes and on occasion you even see older and/or heavier folks in class. Krav Maga teaches techniques that will work for everyone, big and small, so nobody should be shy or intimidated about giving this school a try.
A big plus for me is that they have classes 6 days per week and they even offer classes as late as 8PM. Every month or so a special 1-2 hour seminar is offered to teach students of all levels how to defend against various weapons, which serves to keep things interesting and teaches you valuable survival skills.
Another plus is that Eyal Yanilov, the world's highest ranking Krav Maga instructor, occasionally comes all the way from Israel to teach seminars at this school for all levels of students. A few months ago I took a couple of classes with him which was an amazing opportunity for any student, let alone a beginner like me.
If you've read this far you owe it yourself to go try the free class and experience for yourself what a good school this is. -

A small but fantastic studio for Krav Maga, Crossfit, grappling and striking. Not for the macho. Easy-going atmosphere, but serious in instruction and technique. Great for women as well.

I've seen many changes at Tustin location since being a member for over 2 years. I'm quite skeptical when it comes to change. Well tonight I did the first "bootcamp" class (I don't consider it bootcamp unless a D.I. is yelling at you). The class is more of a "group exercise" class to quote Ty, the instructor. It was a tough workout and it lasted a whole hour. Some of the people in the class do Crossfit, Krav or Kickboxing there too. We all agreed it was a great workout.
