San Diego, CA
Orgasmic.
Adjective: Something that is so awesome and provides so much pleasure, it is similar to having an orgasm.
Example: Every experience I have had at 333 have been orgasmic, leaving me wanting to return for more.
I am not sure if it's the year I spent living in DC or the fact that I am still stuck in broke student mode, constantly on a mission to get large amounts of food and drink for cheap, but saying Happy Hour is my favorite time of the day is being euphemistic. I like it better than my birthday and Christmas combined (well unless it is a birthday happy hour and then that is a whole different story.)
333 has become my go to Happy Hour spot in North County, as I am pretty sure this is the sexiest bar North of Cardiff. Good happy hours bring me incredible pleasure, and 333 has proved to be a very generous lover. Our affair started on a 3 way Thursday, where I found myself indulging in three kobe beef sliders and a ménage à trois of beer tastings for just $15. Our romance has only continued to blossom.
3(33) favorite things I love and recommend you try:
Food
1. Vegetable Tempura Basket- Brocolli, carrots, cauliflower, peppers, green beans and three delicious sauces to dip them in.
2. Kobe Beef Sliders- Deconstructed bites of heaven.
3. Tuna Poke Tacos- The perfect union of raw tuna and the traditional fish taco.
Cocktails
1. Key Lime Pie- A crowd pleaser.
2. Cool Cantelope- Perfectly refreshing for hot summer nights.
3. Toasted Macaroon- Creamy deliciousness.Listed in: The Happiest Hours of the Day

Review from Nancy W.
333 Pacific Steak + Seafood Restaurant is located on the ocean side of Oceanside, separated from the ocean by Pacific Street and a pretty narrow Oceanside Pier. A romantic location for an upscale casual dining experience with 180 degree view of Southern California`s oceanfront. 333 Pacific is a Diners' Choice Winner and is brought to you by the Cohn Restaurant Group.
To continue my San Diego Oceanside dining experience from Georges at the Cove at La Jolla... 333 was the next pit stop. Unfortunately it started to rain and we opted out from seeing the crashing waves down the windy pier.
Upon arriving at 333 you are greeted with 2 high top bar tables well lit with blue lights with big screen TV continuously playing ocean scenes - playing upon your senses with meticulous details before your dining experience even begin. This bar area is perfect for drinks! To the left are tables and a patio; a perfect romantic getaway with an amazing view.
The menu has a wide selection of seafood (both raw and cooked), bar food such as oyster rockefellar, crab, shrimp and lobster nachos, to steak and chops!
Citrus shrimp & blue crab ceviche $11.95
Chopped pieces of scallop, albacore, shrimp, calamari - freshly acidic and firm in texture.
Seafood tower for 2 $29.95
Oysters, ceviche, king crab legs, cocktail shrimp, steamed clams & mussels. Served with mini tobasco bottles, side of horseradish and cocktail sauce. Nothing beats fresh seafood.
Sweet chili calamari $10.95
Crispy calamari tossed in spicy chili sauce. Sauteed not deep fried. These baby squids are tender and succulent!
Crab, shrimp, lobster macaroni & cheese $23.95
Adult style comfort food to bring you back to nostalgic childhood made with brandy, gouda mornay sauce, orecchiette pasta, petite salad. Rich and creamy and completely captivates you.
Boullabaisse $32.95
A flavorful seafood broth filled calamari, shrimp, salmon, jumbo lump crab, lobster, mussels & clams, roasted tomatoes, fennel & saffron served with a side of rouille toast. Although flavorful of herbs and spices, this was nothing special and perhaps on the watery side.
Pepper seared albacore $26.50
Seared albacore tuna was under-seasoned; however fresh and served with edamame bean succotash, sage butter, sweet potato frites did not please. Presentation was poor. Gordon Ramsay would be raising hell.
Steamed clams or mussels $14.95
A simple broth filled garlic, white wine, leeks, butter and grilled ciabatta didn't stand out at all. The clams were rather on the anorexic side (too small) and I'd much prefer the juicy plump Mejillones En Cerveza Mussles from El Barrio Restaurante in Vancouver (see picture below of the juicy fat juicy mussles!!).
333 Pacific offers dynamic ambiance and an experience that will captivate you with their breathtaking décor; however, the food is slightly short of remarkable. Service is top notch and patrons are treated with care and compassion. -

Fallbrook, CA
So disapointing. Our service was terrible. We had made reservations for Sunday at 1:15. We arrived, were seated. Waiter took our order. Then we waited, and waited and waited. It took 40 minutes for us just to get our appetizer.
Our next course was the mixed green salad with avocado and qrapefruit. Haha, there was maybe... 1/8 of an avocado and no more then 3 segments of grapefruit over 3 tablespoons of mixed greens. On the side were ice cold extra thin fried potatoes. For $7.00 it was an insult.
An hour and 20 minutes later we still did not have our burger. The restaurant was not very busy. Our waiter never checked on us. We were getting very frustrated, hungry and running out of time on the parking meter we paid an hour and 40 minutes for. I got up and walked around the restaurant, the people that came in after us, had already eaten, paid and were leaving.
Finally as our waiter was whizzing past us-my husband stopped him and said, "Where is our burger"? We've been here for over an hour. He said he'd check on it and come back. He did and said manager will bring it right out to us. We waited another 10 minutes and hubby then said "Let's go". As we were walking out, we saw the manager with our food. We expressed our displeasure to her, she just kept saying, that's unacceptable. Yeah. No kidding. We get dresssed up, drive for 40 minutes, and end up not even eating? We were less then happy with this young female manager. I actually asked my husband on the way to our car if he thought she'd been smoking pot?
She seemed so very un-concerned how frustrated we were.
We don't get too many date times as we're working 6 days a week. So, that made this even more disapointing. The only good thing, was we were so T.O.'d that we weren't even hungry anymore.
We are in the biz-so, we know what a server should be doing. This guy, wasn't doing any of it, in our opinion.
After reading the 4 and 5 star reviews, it appears that they mostly apply to the bar area and the Happy Hours.
That's too bad. We were looking for a nice dining experience-which we definately did not even come close too. It's been a very long time since we've walked out of a restaurant. After thinking about the lack of concern from the manager-we think that perhaps her staff is following her lead? Either way, lack of concern for your patrons will not help any restaurant-no matter how many vodka choices they offer. -

The Husband and I were looking for something new to try, but didn't feel like driving all the way downtown, after a little searching and reviews reading we decided to give Cafe 333 a try...AND WE ARE GLAD WE DID!
The location is very nice, directly accross the water front and with a view of the Oceanside pier, if you time it right you can enjoy the sunset while sipping on your drink...ahhh l'amour!
The food was very good, we both ordered filet, it was perfect! The sides are generous and great for sharing.
They have a nice bar setting if you decide to go with friends for a more party like vibe, and they have a hopping happy hour.
We will definitely return...mouth watering already! -

I had an awesome dinner and was looking forward to ending it well. When I ordered a "hot coffee, with hot milk, and bailey's" I was told they could not serve "hot milk" as they did not have an espresso machine. Really? That sucks, because they used to have one. For such a great restaurant as this, I'd expect to get hot milk without any problems. The 5 stars just became 2 for lack of hot milk :(

Review from Susie F.
San Diego, CA
I have visited many Cohn Restaurants and this is one of the worse. I expected much better, and was greatly disappointed - especially while celebrating my birthday.
Some of my favorite restaurants are Indigo Grill, Island Prime, Market, Tapenade, and Nine-Ten. The prices at 333 Pacific were similar, but nowhere near the food, service, and restaurant quality.
The Cons:
- Bar area is extremely loud
- Bread was served at same time as entrée, even though waiter mentioned 3x's that bread was on its way
- Sea bass (corvina) was very salty and super temperature hot.
- Ahi was very cold and served with a bland, lobster cream sauce
- Waiter rarely came by to check on us. Didn't ask how the food was, and I had to mention the corvina was salty.
- I had to ask for bread again, as we were unsatisfied from the food and I was still hungry.
The Pros:
- Nice décor as a hot spot
- Ample street parking
- Clean dishes/utensils
- Friendly staff
- Drinks served quickly
I do not plan to return and don't recommend anyone traveling far up North to Oceanside for this. Much better restaurants South. -

Food is always great! But the hostess ruined my visit last time I was here. However, every time I have gone the person waiting on me is kind and attentive. Food never fails me, and the menu is awesome. Good vibe and cool decor, just always packed. I will be back.

Oceanside is finally on the map with the dependable fine dining experience of 333 Pacific. This is my go to place for a great meal in town. You cannot beat the ocean views. The wine list is solid, and vodka lovers will be happy with the extensive selection.
Most of the fish dishes are very good. Steak and beet salad and the Mac and cheese are great. Only thing to watch out for is some specials have way too much butter. Stick with standard menu items. The Ahi Stack is my favorite. -

okay, boys and girls -- I had NO idea. I mean, I'm rather a snob?
But i'd heard good things about 333... it is one of D Cohn's, & he is an acquaint of mine via a degree of sep... but literally, I had NO IDEA that this was going OFF in Oceanside. I mean, Oceanside???
Here is your cosmopolitan bar -- NYC level -- and I'm talking NYC Midtown or Upper East/West (more West, not so much insufferability). And in O/S? Come on. But yes, that just happened.
Great things -- well, the apps: duhhhrrr: obvious. No need to do dinners, just throw down for as many delish apps, and travel the world at $10 per. Then -- the vodka specials menu. Esp the happy hour $7 each. GREAT APPS, decent but maybe a bit too overreaching drinks menu, some of them can be yucky, avoid the more adventurous ones with cucumber and cayenne or whatever... But still:
Actually, most importantly, the SCENE. It's nice to see the girls (and dudes, whatevs) rocking some "looks"! Let's face it, in North County, we get so many casual semi-sweat pant girls and iZiod-type shirt boys up here, that you forget you are in well, one of the USA's top 10 cities. At least by population... errrrrr?
333 is throwdown, dress-up, look good enough glorious. I got to wear my mustard checked sportcoat -- and not feel out of place. And that is a welcome respite from the (honored, but how much really?) dive bars in OS and Cbad, etc.
If you are at all metropolitan in attitude and understanding, this is the place in NoCo to have a martini or two. "West" is not that place (it's all false promise, just weird Carlsbad trying to be better for a half-second).
333 is where you can sit at the long bar tables and talk to people for however long and for whatever that means. It's an NYC hotel bar in Oceanside. Peeps look good, and want to socialize.
It's terrible to say, but this is my new place. Just because it's such a rarity where we is... arrrggghhh (as Kathalyn N. mentioned, "there isn't very much competition"). But thank you David, for bringing this here, and bringing it now. xo -

I had a great time here last night. HAPPY HOUR here is AMAZING! Their drinks are nice and strong. Try out the mango vodka shot. It's so smooth and doesn't have a strong alcohol taste. Aside from the great food (ahi poke tuna tacos, oysters rockefeller, kobe beef sliders, calamari), our waitress Tamira was top notch. She was so busy yet always had a big smile on her face and took time to give us great suggestions to eat. Her energy was so fun and welcoming. She made up for the rude, snobby hostess in the front. Come here for happy hour! It's worth it :)

This is one of the Cohn Restaurant Group restaurants, and a pretty good one at that.
Sweetie and I had a 7 oclock reservation which was timely honored. We sat in the bar for an hour drinking their speciality, vodkas from all over the place and many labels. This impressed the heck out of me.
Our table was in the patio looking toward the beach way. The waitresses were beach looking girls and friendly. Even the manager stopped by to talk with us, while we were at the table, to say hello.
We had the salmon and also scallops for dinner.
I brought along a great California chardonnay (2008 MacRostie) to have with dinner. Corckage is $ 15.00.
This place is a good one.
We had a walk down the pier after dinner. This was a good idea for after tasty vodka and chardonnay, a bit of fresh cool air was a good idea. -

Carlsbad, CA
Still a great restaurant, but a recent lunch wasn't 5 star worthy. Kobe beef burger was messy ala Carl's Jr. Plus the patty was small compared to the bun - burger sin. Their rosemary bread and honey butter was still good. Sweet chile calamari was also excellent. Crab/lobster cake sandwich was a good choice, but the mango salsa side was not fresh looking - maybe a calendar thing. Kids 3 course lunch ($12) was decent - my son had the 4oz fillet. The bread pudding dessert was good along with their nice strong coffee. (Coffee had some floaty coffee grounds in the cup which didn't affect the taste but wasn't a good visual). The food server was super nice and friendly. But one of the other staff made sniffling sounds on each visit to the table - cold or allergy or cocaine in the back room? Still a great restaurant and location, just not 5 star worthy as in my previous review.

Oceanside, CA
I had heard some good things about this place since I just moved to oceanside so my mom, brother and i decided to try some food there. Unfortunately my brother (whom is chef at restaurants in Nor Cal) noticed the lack of care they put into their food. They burned the edges of his food and served it on a cracked plate (which is against code). My food (the mac and cheese) was mostly good, but I was turned off by the errors mentioned above and the service for the price of the food was poor at best. I get better service from most diners...
On the bright side, the view is beautiful. In reality you are paying for the atmosphere and the view I am just not sure I would come back because I don't know if it would be worth the $ spent. -

My friend and I shared the steak and lobster combo. Really good! The lobster was done perfectly - not rubbery at all and very flavorful. That's a hard thing to do and most restaurants can't nail it.
Also, our server Evan was the nicest and most polite I've seen in a while. Thanks EVAN! -
Review from Bree K.
Oceanside, CA
Our terrible experience began as soon as we walked in the door.
The hostess, who was flippant and not at all welcoming, confused us with her instructions. Despite an empty restaurant, the hostess informed us that there was a 10 minute wait. She continued by telling us that we could take a seat in the bar or at a table. We asked if she meant we could eat at the bar or at a table and she replied, "yes, you can wait at either". We couldn't understand why we needed to wait for 10 minutes "for a table" yet we could "wait at a table".
We clarified a second time, this time asking if we could order food at a table or at the bar. This time, the hostess told us we could in fact order food at either of these places. She also confirmed that the wait for a table was 10 minutes.
So, we took a table, and had to ask for menus. We waited for about 6 minutes before anyone came to the table. The hostess was the one who came to the table and brought us water. She quickly returned to the hostess stand where she and another server/host began discussing the Lexus that the above hostess drives.
I mention the Lexus conversation because we had to interrupt it in order to ask for a server. We had now been waiting for about 8-10 minutes. The above hostess rolled her eyes at my friend (who asked for a server), and walked towards the bar, where she conversed with another employee, pointed at us.
The hostess walked past our table (never stopping) and in passing, said, Adam will be with you".
We waited about 3-4 more minutes and Adam never came to our table. Unfortunately, no other employee checked in on us.
We decided to give up and walked out. -

Oceanside, CA
Located right in front of the Oceanside Pier, 333 Pacific has one of the best views in Oceanside, good food and a great martini bar.
What to order - I have been several times for happy hour and Restaurant Week and you cant go wrong with the food! Their calamari is really good and there is enough to share for 3-4 people. I had some sort of stuffed chicken and loved it. Also, check out their long list of martinis (I liked the Key Lime Pie one).
Watching your wallet? We had "Sushi Sunday" in the bar which came with the Chef's special roll and a glass of the house Chardonnay for a killer price. I dont remember the winery but this white wine had a buttery finish and I cant wait to try it again! The sushi had a great presentation and was really fresh and tasty.
Where to sit - Sit on their outdoor patio so you can get the best view. They have the patio covered and also have heaters.
What to wear - This place is a little bit above casual so I would wear nice jeans and a nice top at the least.
When to show up - It is super busy at dinner time so call your reservation in advance. Last time I went it was so busy we just sat at the bar (which is also fun). -

Carlsbad, CA
Food was D-lish and Vodka selection was amazing! They had everything you could think of! They even had the Plum vodka that we have only seen in Downtown Disney. The view is awesome, the staff were all incredibly friendly. We arrived before they opened and they allowed us to sit at the bar. Easy access from the Oceanside Transit Center- I know not a cool place to hang out, but hey if you arrive by Amtrak, Coaster or Sprinter that's your offramp :-) Not cheap but worth it- I know this will sound weird but don't miss the bathrooms! TV's IN the mirrors, really cool sinks, nicely decorated!
I have never been at night but have been told its pretty loud, during the day it was average you can have conversation with no problem. We have been there with a party of 7 and everyone could converse with no problems. -

Encinitas, CA
The happy hour is great since its 7 days a week and the key lime pie martini is super yummy not too sweet but more tart.
We sat down for dinner, hostesses were nice but not very friendly, just doing their job and going through the motions. We were sat down in a large booth that was very comfortable. The wine list is weird because it's not listed by price it's just all over the place so if you have a certain price point you are scanning the list a few times to see what you would want.
The server was Loretta I think. She acted like a robot, no real personality. But she was a good server, nothing bad nothing great. We ordered the poke tacos and there were delicious just really really small. Miniature tacos. The beet salad was delicious very crisp and delicious.
Our main course I ordered the filet trio and add on crab legs. My boyfriend ordered the 8oz filet and added on the Mac and cheese and broccollini. The filets had NO FLAVOR. Me and mt boyfriend were shocked how bland and no seasoning at all on the filets. The 8oz had a lot of fat on it, which is weird, I have never seen that before. The crab legs were really good but they only gave 2 with the add on. The best part of the meal was the Mac and cheese. It was delicious. But the bus boy took our plate before I ate all of it, there was only a little left but I wanted to eat it all. So we told our server and they brought us out a little bit more which was super nice. So we had even more of the good stuff.
So overall it was good. If the filets just had some flavor it would be 5 stars and if our server actually had a peesonaliity. -

I had the Bouillabaisse. If Bouillabaisse is on the menu I will have it, it's my favorite meal in the world. This did not disappoint (as it shouldn't because it was like 35 bucks yow) since it was jammed packed with so many perfectly cooked filets of fish, whole shrimp, crab, scallops, mussels....aw god it was so good.
I also loved the design of the restaurant. Large, but cozy with high semi-exposed industrial beams and superb lighting. I think the design also lends to the diverse crowd that, literally flocks here. Young and old, refined and boisterous makes this place an easy go to as long as you got the $$. -
Review from Chris W.

This place has to be one of the most accommodating places I've ever had the pleasure to dine at.
Everything from making sure our food was prepared in consideration to my wife's shellfish allergies to insuring a great table for our son and his girlfriend with a nice view of the breaking waves on the beach was taken care of by the superb staff.
The side tables are private and quiet, and the inside tables are private and loud. But there is great attention to detail here. From the dimmed lighting to the attentive wait staff. This is a wonderful place for many differing occasions.
Their Vodka menu is vast, but the beer selections are small. The stout I had was very good though. I just wish more restaurants did beer/ food pairings as this is vastly overlooked in the food industry today.
What I personally found appealing was the artful plating. My wife ordered the Sea Bass with thin sliced and stacked potatoes. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. We have a habit of splitting plates and trying each others dishes. That way we eat a little more across the menu. The potatoes were perfect and the grits were fantastic. Usually we have a little left over. Not today.
The wait staff is congenial and not too obtrusive. And the management stops by for a check as well. Personally, I felt that they were almost a bit too polite. But better than the opposite though by far.
I certainly felt that the experience was worth the cost. And I think the food under priced for as good as it is. Next time, I'll try an outside table for the view. I can see a repeat visit in the near future. -

1 star for good food. I had high expectations because I've dined in almost all of the other Cohn restaurants and have never been disappointed.
It was Sunday, about 2:30 in the afternoon and besides the 6-8 people in the bar, only 5 or 6 other tables had guests seated. It's really annoying to have to wait to be seated in an almost empty restaurant. I almost felt like I should have apologized to the hostesses for interupting their conversation. After she simply showed us to the table... She was less than pleased when i had to ask for a high chair for our 1 year old daughter. We were already seated at the table and she never offered one so I assumed they didn't exist.
Moving on, the food came quick and was good just as expected. My husband and I shared the lobster tacos, ceviche, and mussels. Our 2 children shared the Kobe sliders off the kids menu. $13 is a pretty steep price for a kids meal and it's frustrating when restaurants try to be fancy with it when most kids eat plain and simple. Any adult could eat off the kids menu and be full.
Our main server was really nice and even interacted with the kids a bit. The food was overall good until the kids ice cream came to the table with a long, disgusting pubic hair stuck to the caramel on the plate. Our server was apologetic and offered to bring out a new one. Then the "manager" came over and explained to us that all the chefs wear hair nets so the hair must have come from someone's beard. Um...Seriously? A beard? That's almost as gross as just admitting that it was obviously something else. She did comp the kids $13 plate but other than that she was completely unprofessional in her demeanor and not polished enough to be a managing a restaurant of that caliber.
I wouldn't make a special trip to Oceanside from San Diego to ever eat there again. I'm completely turned off by the tackiness of the hostesses and manager on duty. The server was ok with the kids because she has one of her own... but I would be lying to say it's kid friendly.
Mr. Cohn, with no disrespect, may I suggest sending your Oceanside staff to one of your other restaurants so they can learn a thing or two about customer service and class? -

Came here on a Friday night with my girlfriend for her birthday. The atmosphere is nice, and with our reservation we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. We had to wait a long time after being seated for our server to come over and introduce herself, apparently there was a big group of people that was taking up all of her time. The drinks we ordered were pretty tasty, the bread and butter was great too. I ordered the Gouda Mac & Cheese with Lobster, and it was not what I expected. It had no flavor, and the lobster didn't taste right. Those Velveeta mac & cheese boxes that you can buy at Wal Mart for $2.50 have more to offer than this dish. I would not recommend it at all. My girlfriend ordered the braised short rib which was pretty good.
I did like that our waitress asked us if we were celebrating anything, and she brought out a caramel popcorn ice-cream dessert for my girlfriend's birthday.
All-in-all it was an average experience. The drinks, bread & butter, and short-rib were good, but stay away from the gouda mac & cheese. -

Went there for happy hour and sampled the tacos, calamari, ahi stack, sliders and a sushi roll.
The food was solid and the only thing I'd like to see is fried wonton wrappers served with the ahi stack as its awkward to eat. It needs a delivery method.....or maybe I'm just high maintainence ???
service was great. Stacey was our server and she was awesome as well as dangerously attractive with a sense of humor. -

Normally a great place to eat and drink. Our experience left us questioning a future visit. First off, was our seating. We were seated in the banquet/wine room which is as expected when the reservation was made earlier in the afternoon for a Friday 7:30PM dinner. Unfortunately, the banquet/wine room was more like a wine cellar. Cold and drafty and a terrible atmosphere compared to the rest of the restaurant.
We were seated quickly and drink orders were taken. The mixed drinks were not complicated and the beers were draft. 20+ minutes later the wrong drinks arrived and the 2 out of 5 drinks were mixed improperly (Vodka + Soda???). One drink was specifically requested with soda water for a diabetic and came with sweet sour mix. The beers were served in high-ball cocktail glasses???
Bread plates and table settings were incomplete and appetizer plates were brought out mid-way through the appetizers. The waitress took 5 out of 6 dinner orders and ran off. 10 minutes later she returned realizing that she hadn't taken the sixth order. The drinks were then corrected for a second time. Two steaks were ordered raw/rare and came out medium+.
A manager casually came table side and asked how the meal was going. Our party of young professionals tactfully eluded that the experience was less than stellar and that normally we enjoyed dinning there. She offered an apology, but didn't inquire what the issues were. Instead she offered complimentary desserts and brushed it off. Thanks, but we're not dessert people.
Not sure if it was just a bad night, but for the amount of money we normally spend at 333 Pacific and similar establishments I would expect, better service all around. Very disappointing as it was our go-to place as Oceanside residents. -

Took a colleague there for lunch today and was really impressed. The warm bread & butter was a great start. I had the salmon burger: TRULY the best I have ever had. I was really impressed with Tammy, our server as she knew the menu and made great recommendations. My colleague had the shrimp and grits, and liked hers as well. I will be back for sure!

We were looking for a good, close restaurant. This fit the bill! Though our bill was a bit wrong (and corrected immediately), the food was tasty and our server was sweet. We want the recipe for the carmelized brussel sprouts with pancetta! Would definitely go again.

Yeah, this place is expensive, but right in range with the others in the Cohn group. But, you know when you come in that the food and drinks will be consistently good, high-quality and creative.
Sorry to hear others have had trouble with the service, as everyone has always been friendly and on-the-ball. Then again, it might be about where you set your expectations. I go in expecting to have a relaxing time and don't want to rush. If you want speed, go to McDonald's. :-)
Favorite items - pretty much everything I've tried.
- Kobe burgers
- seafood stack
- poke tacos
- shrimp grits
- MARTINIS! (especially the dirty martinis with bleu cheese olives and the key lime variety) -

The food is good but spendy. I prefer to sit in the bar area and have drinks and maybe an appetizer. They have happy hour every day so that is awesome. They have great martinis and a ton of different vodkas to choose from. The service by the bartenders and staff in the bar area is also way better than in the dining room.

Oceanside, CA
What a gem of a place!!! Felt like I left Oceanside and teleported over to Vegas. Seriously hip decor. Great ocean view. The best Happy Hour in North County. Fantastic wait staff and management. Cowboy Ribeye is the best in SD and top 5 all time. For desert they serve an apple strudle cheesecack that will blow your mind.
Overall this place is a 9.5 of out 10. -

Mmm... one of my favorites. I have been here for both lunch and happy hour several times, and I really enjoy it each time. Yes, it's not cheap, but right in-line with any other Cohn restaurant. The service has always been decent. Both food and drinks are great... not cheap, but well worth it in my opinion. I'm working my way through all the martinis they offer here... so many choices, all very good.

Fallbrook, CA
What a treat it is to know there is a fine dining establishment in Oceanside! We live in Fallbrook, and usually end up driving all the way to San Diego for dining out. We were at 333 Pacific on a Tuesday at 5pm the week after the new year, and it was crowded. Obviously, their reputation for excellence is becoming known. Their prices were to be expected for the quality we received.
Our table had the view of the sunset over the sea---hard to beat---and the table settings were lovely. Our server was very attentive without being a nuisance. We started off with some of the vodkas that are their specialty. I had a raspberry vodka over ice, and my husband had a dirty Crater Lake martini. I really liked mine, but still had a little tinge of jealousy when I tasted how smooth his martini was.
I had the twin lobster tails---yum, and a side of creamed spinach. I LOVE creamed spinach, but only Ruth's Chris has ever made it the way I like. I think 333 Pacific makes the spinach even better. My husband had the filet trio---we traded bites, and we had a difficult time deciding which of the three preparations we liked best---they were all terrific. Sadly, we were too full to try one of the desserts, but we plan to go back soon! -

Been here about a dozen times, including holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Never had a bad experience. The one time there was a problem with a food order, it was fixed immediately and they comped dessert.
It's a fave place to take out-of-town guests and I'm really happy Oceanside got a Cohn restaurant. -

Went yesterday for our anniversary! food was actually really good, bf got the rib-eye( big portion and relly good!!!) and i had the pork chop( it was good but not worth the money). They gave us free dessert for our special occasion. Only neg. thing was the wait for our food was about 1/2 hour. But I would come back again!

Oceanside, CA
I had to think about how I wanted to rate this place. I came up with the following:
4 stars for the food.
2 stars for the service.
I ordered the NY steak cooked medium-rare and it was very good. I even enjoyed my left overs. However, for the price you're paying for dinner, I expect much better service. When we came in, the hostesses at the counter were talking among themselves. It took them a few minutes to conclude their conversation before acknowledging us. After we were seated, our server was slow to take our order. After our order was taken, I saw our server sporadically.
When I go to a nice restaurant, I'm not just going for dinner, but for a good dining experience. I was very disappointed on this front. I am willing to come back to this restaurant if someone else picked it. However, I would only recommend this place with hesitation. -

Encinitas, CA
My boyfriend and I can't seem to get out of this place without spending at least $50/person -- and we've only gone here during happy hour. Highlights:
Fresh oysters that are definitely worth the $7/half dozen happy hour price.
Key lime pie martini = liquid heaven
Chocolate goat cheese panna cotta, mmmmmmm.
The view is an added benefit, especially around sunset. -

Del Mar, CA
The food was good. The service wasn't. Let's be honest here, folks. They're charging top dollar prices but the service doesn't match. They were slow to bring bread. Slow to bring the food without acknowledgement of the wait. The filet was cold but delicious.. They warmed the filet but not the potatoes. It was just too long so my husband ate the potatoes cold. My food was good and warm but needed a knife to cut the polenta. They comped us desert which was a surpise given the level of service.
We'll be back to try the sushi and another server since it is the nicest place in Oceanside. If they blow it again, I'll write another bad review and never go back. -

Oceanside, CA
I really like this place. Its great for a weeknight dinner or Sunday afternoon cocktails. My friends and I usually prefer to drink and eat in the lounge/bar area. Its always happy hr in the lounge with $7 martinis (any vodka of your choice) and they have a great happy hour food menu. Sushi and oysters are very good. Kevin who manages the bar is super friendly and accommodating to all requests. I avoid it on Friday and Saturday nights after 4pm though because it gets uncomfortably packed and the service just naturally suffers. If you make a reservation for the restaurant side, ask for a booth with ocean view and try their prix fixe menu or trio of Fillet Mignon.

Went here for lunch and was seriously underwhelmed. While the decor and service were great, the food was totally on the opposite side of the spectrum. When I read the menu, I was pleased with the dishes and their descriptions as they all seemed pretty creative and delicious. I ordered the lump crab hash & eggs and was convinced otherwise. This thing was more hash than crab, with just about 3 large pieces of crab only and the rest, just tiny bits and pieces. The choice to use ciabatta as toast to accompany the dish was poorly thought out as I felt like I needed some platinum grills to bite into 'em. Cement crackers kinda deal, picture that. What I did enjoy, though, was this rejuvenating kinda smoothie they had - something I definitely needed after an eventful Friday night prior, ha.
