This is my go to restaurant on the Main Line. Originally stumbled across it on OpenTable and decided to give it a shot since it was right around the corner and the menu looked good. When we arrived, we realized there was a beautiful outdoor patio and put a request in to sit outside once seating became available. We proceeded to go to the bar which is done in warm woods and is very inviting. The bartender was helpful and friendly. 15 minutes after arriving, we were told our table outside was ready. The only problem we had was the service. After being sat, there was obviously much confusion as to which waiter/waitress should take our table and no one arrived for quite some time. (I returned a week later and our waitress was very attentive so I'm hoping it was a one time mistake.) We ordered calamari, 2 filet mignons and a pork chop and all were absolutely delectable. The aioli that accompanied the filet was to die for and all cuts of meat were melt in your mouth delicious. 333 is the perfect place for a group of friends, a nice date, a family outing or any other meal where one would go for a wonderful meal and atmosphere.

*There is a Happy Hour from Monday-Thursday and the bar menu (good food, not typical, greasy bar food) is half off after 5:00pm.

I knew it wasn't just me!

If you read the other reviews here, even the positive (5-star) ones talk about the rude waitstaff and their obnoxious antics.

We ate here twice; patio one time, dining room the other. The first time we had a male waiter who was professional. He did his job, and he was informed about the food and the chef (I believe he said the chef had been sous-chef for Georges Perrier or something), seemed like this server was really headed somewhere in life and this was a way to make cash while he worked to get where he wanted to be longterm, and he had the right attitude all the way. It was a pleasant dinner, food was excellent, we tipped very well, and hoped to return.

The second time, the waitress was like the loser end of my sorority: she was looking to become a trophy mistress, and could not be bothered to learn how to act like a professional adult, or actually perform at a job because everything aside from digging her fingers into an old man's pockets was beneath her. She had to take our order twice (didn't ask temp so I added it). Then after that she came out again and asked for temperature again?!?! Then she disappeared forever (cocktails and water totally empty), yet we saw her by the bar flirting with the divorced (or not) financiers, and dirty old sugar daddies. EW! Finally, she came with the first course, which she then rushed us on, trying to put entrees beside it on our table like we were at a truck stop. On top of that, the entrees were lukewarm when she served them, so clearly she had been socializing way too long while the chef had it up, then remembered she totally forgot our whole meal, and threw it together in 5 minutes.

The experience was not worth anywhere near what we paid for this bs. And this trashy girl didn't deserve a tip at all, but I always feel bad so we left like 15% which is very low for us. Had I to do it over I wouldn't have left her anything because really it was awful.

It is a shame that the chef and ambiance of this establshment have to be paired with the rude staff because it could be a much better place. It is so polarized now. The combination of haute cusine with nice decor, mixed with bratty pigs is only going to attract the wrong crowd (wife-cheaters with loads of white-collar-crooked money). We don't migle with such people so we won't be back.

On a gorgeous night, 75+ degrees at 5:30PM, and after reading about a good happy hour place to be, and related happy hour 1/2 off apps, we ventured out for a few drinks.  We arrived to a warm colored, renovated bar and looked out the window to see if tables were available to sit outside.  We were advised by the bartender to see the hostess.  The hostess said to see the bartender, the bartender said "really"?  Anyway I carried our two drinks outside, was assured by the bartender that the happy hour specials would apply outside.  Well, he was wrong about that too.  They really have to get their act together.  Anyway, it was so nice outside we decided to stay there and pay full price for the half-priced apps.

The mussels were very good, with shallot, garlic and white wine, very fresh, very tasty, tender and cooked perfectly. 4 stars

The calamari was above average, maybe a bit over breaded but crispy, the pumpkin seeds were a nice addition, but the pumpkin seed aioli was flavorless. 3 stars

The seared tuna tuna was very good, with a nice seaweed salad beneath. 4 stars

Service was very slow, had to wait for our second and third round of drinks a bit too much.  And after the confusing welcome to the place mentioned above, I can only go 2 stars.

But all-in-all, I shall return.  Next time we know the deal, or do we!

I will have to return for happy hour and dinner to give you the real low down, but it is a solid pick for the mainline. I had a great salad, a good spot for a work lunch.  There is a beautiful patio and the design inside is lovely.

This is an EXCELLENT spot for a business lunch if you find yourself in Radnor midday needing a place to entertain or catch up with a colleague. I discovered 333 Belrose through Yelp and was not disappointed! Salads are creative and excellently portioned, sandwiches are delicious and not greasy, and the entrees are beautifully done if you're in the mood for something more formal. The salmon, in particular, was pretty amazing...

Now that the Wayne Hotel's Tacquet restaurant has closed, 333 Belrose is a decent option for an upscale dinner in the Wayne / Radnor area.

Sitting in the dining room isn't the best ambiance, a little boring, but the menu has some good variety, especially among the appetizers.  The BLT salad, heirloom tomato salad, and stuffed jalapenos are all good starters - the calamari is a little bland, so I'd skip that.

As far as entrees go, opt for fish - if only for the side dishes.  Each comes with an awesome indulgent side, like bacon mac & cheese or buttermilk mashed potatoes.

Our server was absolutely clueless, but...whatever. He didn't take my brother's drink order and left for 20+ minutes at a time, so my dad ended up jumping up to grab our wine from where it was chilling a few feet away.

Overall, the food is good enough and I'd bring any group of companions, from friends to family to clients.  A good option for the 610!

Quality ingredients treated with respect and well prepared. Service is friendly and efficient.

We had the smoked chicken quesadilla to start, followed by a Mahi-Mahi on creamed corn and saffron risotto and crab cakes. The produce seemed to be fresh and the mahi mahi was perfectly cooked - seared on the outside, succulent on the inside. Crabcakes had little filler and tasted good.

Will be back again for other dishes on the menu

My friend had gone here many times and finally talked me into going.  We started out with a bottle of wine -- by the way some evenings they offer wine at a 20% discount by the bottle which was wonerful.  We ordered a bottle.  It was cold outside so the soup sounded delicous and it was.  Really complex taste to it.  We ordered a few appetizers which were both great.  The service was good.  I'd definitely go back there.  The only thing is that its a little expensive so I'm probably not going to be a regular there at this point.  The parking's a little tough if the place is crouded but you can park on the street or across the street in the parking lot there.  The building is an old home, single story, that was transformed into a cordial, homey restaurant.  Nice touch.

Remember, 333 Belrose's name is its address. It's quite close to the Radnor train station, if you stil need help.

Pull up and head in (if it's crowded, the lot overflows across the street). Take a seat in their swanky dining room, or head in to their side bar - decked in warm woods - and take advantage of their happy hour specials.

If you're hungry, get their mussels; they're huge. Don't forget their Applewood bacon grilled cheese panini. Wish it was in a more traditional sandwich form, but the marriage of bacon and melted cheese is always a Good Idea, and 333 Belrose's version doesn't disappoint. Plus, you get a tomato soup and Caesar salad so there's all your food groups. Still hungry? You can't go wrong with the calamari.

I wonder where they get their local ingredients from?  The menu changes seasonally but they keep some of their signature dishes on the menu with a few twists based on the ingredients they have.  You'll find a variety of American dishes influenced by flavors around the world.

I come here all the time when I'm in the area for a business meeting and it's a great place for a client luncheon.  The menu is true to it's description.  It's always so hard to pick what I want because EVERYTHING on the menu is so tasty!

The restaurant is a little bit cramped, but the food is delicious and the service is great.

They start the meal out with seasoned Almonds, which is a unique alternative to bread.  The bread comes a little later with homemade butter.

We also enjoyed the hummus platter and tomato and red pepper bisque.

I had the vegetarian entree which is not listed on the menu but is generally a stuffed pepper or tomato.  It was divine.

My husband had the filet and he was so sad when he finished it.

We topped off our meal with pecan pie a la mode.

We also had a bottle of wine.

The prices were surprisingly good, all told the meal was just over $150 including the 20% tip.  We will be back.

This is a solid four star restaurant.  I've eaten here maybe 5 times and every time it has been great.

Located in a former ranch home, it's easy to miss from the outside.  Inside, the decor is sort of funky, with big bright paintings on the walls.   it has a small bar with a nice TV if you happen to go during a game.  We finished up dinner and had after dinner drinks in the bar watching the end of a baseball game on a couple of occasions.  When the weather is nice there is a fantastic patio.

The service has always been excellent, every time.  Friendly hostess, happy and helpful waitstaff.  As I said, I've never had a bad meal here - we even brought some of our Boston food snob friends when they were in town for a visit (they have a kid to lug, so going into the city isn't feasible with them) and they loved it, as well.  Also, the wine list is decent and very reasonably priced.

This is an exceptional restaurant...  the location is a bit hard to get to as it's not on the main line or street...  and outside doesn't look like much, but the decor is very upscale and modern...  was for her birthday and she loves Trout...  at the time the Belrose had a pecan encrusted Trout dish...  excellent!!  Although it was a bit pricey, the atmosphere is elegant and food even better...  service was excellent as expected...  333 Belrose is as good a place for a date or a romantic evening as it is for a night out with friends...  this is a well run establishment and although a pricey menu, it is upscale and well within tolerance for a special evening.

Uses Open Table to reserve...  way cool.

I love this place. Not only is the food terrific, the waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable professionals (unusual these days) and they have a great outdoor patio.

Lunch and dinner entrees are unique, hearty, healthy, and delicious. From great fish and steaks to more unique offerings. Lunch offerings include half sandwich and soup to salmon.

You don't like calamari, think you've had delicious calamari? Try it here. It's lightly breaded and served with sliced jalapenos. Just spicy enough. It used to be served with pumpkin seeds which I loved. I've never had good calamari anywhere but here, I don't know why it is so difficult, I don't know how they do it.

Top that off with very good desserts and rich coffee.

There's a nice long bar area with TV's for cocktail hour. The restaurant area is divided into 3 sections, each one a bit more quiet than the last, with the first open area getting quite lively. The outside area is fabulous. Lots of sun but plenty of umbrellas. Extremely relaxing. Heaters for when it gets more cool outside.

Wine and alcohol selections are very good. Great wines by the glass. It is almost always busy so make a reservation, that includes lunches as well as dinner.

Ah... I don't really get what the fuss is about.  The decor is blah.  The menu is a little all over the place.  The food is good, but nothing special.  For the price and location, it meets expectations.  But for the all the buzz, I was a bit disappointed.

We wanted to try something new, in our area.
So when I remembered http://Restaurant.com had a coupon for 333 Belrose I decided that's where we would eat.   Then I checked YELP! And people had written good things.  So off we went.

I have to say nothing was overtly wrong with our experience, but we do not have to go back there again.

Our waitress although extremely friendly was slow and did not return to the table after our food was served (by the wait staff) to see if everything was alright.  In fact we were missing something from our order and when she finally did come by and we asked for it she got it right away.  .
And we are not very picky people.  Yes really.

    We started off with
Crispy Shrimp and Ginger Springrolls (you get 3 small rolls cut in half so you get 6 pieces) and it came with Asian Slaw.  To tell you the truth I liked the slaw better than the springrolls. $11.

Ahi Tuna Sashimi and Wakame Salad.- the tuna was very fresh.  The Vietnamese clear dipping sauce had a slight citrus?  flavor and seemed a little hmmmmm bland, so we used the sauce from the springrolls.  This dish was a good value for your money.  $13.

The entrees start at $22 and go up to $28 from the menu.

My husband had the Sage Cornbread Stuffed Rainbow Trout and it comes with green beans and "4" shrimp.  This was the best thing about our meal. Very good.  The stuffing gave the fish a lot of flavor and the mustard sauce drizzled over the fish just made it mouth watering to look at when it came to the table.

Daughter had the Wild Caught Salmon with baby potatoes and substituted green beans for the braised red cabbage.  This was also a very good dish.  The salmon had a very nice marinade and the potatoes were very tasty.

I had the Slow Braised Lamb Shank- substituting asparagus for the Brussel Sprouts.  Sorry folks I don't do brussel sprouts.  You get a very big shank bone.  This was just an ok dish I am sorry to say.  And I do like lamb shank.  The garlic mashed potatoes were very good as was the asparagus.

We had the individual carrot cake and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert.  These WERE good.  The carrot cake is basically a nice cupcake with sour cream topping and they drizzled caramel sauce around it, so the sweetness with the slightly salted sour cream top and the not so sweet carrot cake really was good.  The chocolate cake was rich and creamy and melted in your mouth.

The restaurant is off of King of Prussia Road, so you have to be going there to find it.

Sadly to say it was an okay experience but we do not have to go back there.

I would recommend this place for a great happy hour menu, you pretty much get gourmet bar food for 5$ or less.  The dining is usually pricier but the happier hour in the bar section has a totally laid back atmosphere. Great wine list for half off the prices too.  I love the food here! It's definitely an older crowd so it's good for a laid back night out during the week after work.  Good place to meet your friends if you want to meet up and actually be able to hold a conversation without having to scream over music!

I don't know what they started putting in the food at Belrose, but whatever it is, it is amazing. We've been patrons for years (party because of geographic convenience) , but in the past few months, every meal we've had has been amazing. The spring and summer salads are great (blending fresh flavors and great textures). The scallops with corn relish is one of the best dishes I've had in a while. The calamari with jalapeños is a great starter. Wine list is impressive. Crowd can be hit or miss, but with a lovely outdoor patio and very impressive food, the crowd is a non-issue.

I was so excited to try 333 and heard nothing but good reviews from some coworkers.  When I got there, though I should have gotten back in my car and drove away.  I was with a party of four and we showed up around 11:30 for an early lunch.  There was only one other couple seated, but the snotty hostess nearly didn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation.  It took an unacceptable amount of time for our server to offer water and menus given how slow it was in there.  The food itself is overpriced given how bland and ordinary it is.  We had barely started eating our meal when we were practically rushed out by the server.  If it had been busy, I could have understood the desire to turn the table quickly, but since we were still only 1 of 2 parties in there, it just came off as rude.  We left a minimal tip and vowed to tell everyone we know not to patronize this establishment.

Always look forward to a trip to 333 when I am working in KOP and especially so when the weather breaks. Short menu but all the bases are covered. Great patio and 1/2 price wine menu on Thursday nights!!! Usually some good specias and Thursday night was no different a great Rack of Lamb. Have had plenty of great meals here, nothing over the top and incredibly inventive but sometimes that is what I want.  Service was a little off that night but all in all another good experience.

I love Belrose. It is great for lunch. They always have new and different salads. Not just the standard quo. They have an array of foods - a lot of fushion - stuff you cant get anywhere else. I've never had anything I havent liked. The crab cake is delicious. The tacos were good too. They switch up their menu so much you need to go back all of the time!

They have a nice size outdoor patio which is great for summer. It fills up during prime lunch time.

Only con is the parking situation. But they are working on this with parking across the street I think now.

Had a really enjoyable date night with my husband here recently.  We ordered the calamari which was delicious and really fresh, I had salmon in a red wine reduction and my husband had lamb with polenta.  We enjoyed it all...the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the room was a bit crowded and loud (sitting next to a shrieking harpy probably did not help things either, but that happens sometimes).

Bar was pretty crowded but the menu is different there and looks yummy.  We'll probably try that next time.

This is a very popular Main Line restaurant and I had eaten here years before when it was under another name. I always loved the outdoor patio and I know it is always busy so I had high expectations. We were seated outside and at first the waitress was attentive - serving us water and wine. Then she disappeared...for a long time. When she did reemerge it was to hover over another table of 4 men where she flirted for an exceedingly long amount of time, basically ignoring us despite our attempts to get her attention. The food was fine but pricey and I consider the cost of the food to be part of the entire package so disappointing service equals an overall poor dining experience. I think this may have been a one-off and overall the place is probably fine but I won't be rushing back anytime soon!
