When I need something to wear there are two stores I check out first; they're one door down from each other on Magnolia in Burbank. The main one is 33 Rooms. So far, I've always found something I like a lot and for prices so low I almost feel guilty. My boyfriend always finds something, too. He bought a sports coat worth over $400 for $35. He rarely wears a sport coat, but it's so nice he couldn't pass it up. You never know what you'll find there and you won't always find men's sports coats. That's part of the fun shopping there. Among the regular fun stuff you'll find something that gives you a shopping orgasm. The owner is fun and it's reflected in her selections.
It's worth a trip to Magnolia Street in Burbank. You'll always find something on this street. Oh, and there's a shopping party the last Friday night of the month on this part of Magnolia: Ladies Night Out. -

My models absolutely love the fashion at the spot It is simple yet elegant. The prices are decent and they have sales every now and then Great place to spend a little time having fun and getting some Summer clothes

I thought this store would have more modern clothing... it's more retro, costumey type pieces, true vintage. They had a lot of cotton shirts, vintage dresses, and the shoes looked a bit dated.
I could see how people would like this store, but it's just not my taste. The music made me feel like I was in a mad hurry to shop -- it was LOUD, fast, thumpin', in your face drum n' bass... perhaps 10 years ago it's the kind of music I would've enjoyed.
The owner is nice and it might be worth stepping inside just for a looksie since there are a ton of other vintage/consignment stores on the street. -

SWOON! I absolutely love this place. I spent three hours there a few weekends ago and my boyfriend almost killed me (he got so sick of waiting), but Holly has a killer collection of lightly used clothes. The best part is it's SO much more affordable than some of the other vintage shops down the street. I love Vintage clothes, but I just can't afford to pay $50 for a shirt. Holly had amazing things AND the ambiance was perfect. No flourescent lights shining down; a nice, comfy dressing room; darker walls (not the bright white that makes you feel like you're in a hospital). In other words, the nicest thrift store experience I've had in LA, and trust me, I've been to at least 30 since moving here from NYC. Not too expensive, but not too dumpy!
My only warning is that on occasion, she does shut down the shop without notice during her normal hours; that happened to me yesterday. I drove all the way out there only to find a sign on the door. I'd recommend calling in advance, just to be safe. But it's worth it! -

Basically Holly (shop owner) ROCKS! I lost my absolute fav ring at an airport in El Salvador and she went above and beyond to help me get a replacement - she really took the time to help - I know it's just a ring but it was my FAV! If only ATT and health insurance companies were so flipping awesome with customers service they would rock too!
Next time I'm in Burbank this will be my first stop! Love it! -

Reviews of places I really like are usually the most boring to read, so this might be the most boring review of them all. I don't really pick "favorites," no favorite band or food or color, but I would venture to say this is my favorite store! I've been here a bunch of times and I don't think I've ever left without some new purchase... how can I even explain it? I would wear pretty much anything and everything on the racks here. I'm trying to give myself a slightly girlier look after years of jeans and t-shirts, more skirts and tailored shirts and dresses, but I'm still looking for clothes with a unique edge to 'em, with a good amount of character...and if there's one thing this place does NOT lack it's character.
oh and as everyone mentioned, Holly is great, she always remembers me when I come in :) -

The best store in the valley! I found some of the most incredible clothing pieces, at great prices. I bought a sweater from this store, and honestly every time I have worn it, I have received a compliment.
The owner is also very nice, and is not pushy about sales. I love shopping at small stores, but often worry about pushy sales people ruining the experience. I did not find this to be a problem at 33 rooms.
Also, kudos to another reviewer bringing up the music here. I seriously found myself mindlessly walking around the store after I knew I was done shopping...so I can get myself a dose of great music...what can I say I love a good music fix. -

I LOVE this store!
I went in today for the first time with my mom, and we both went crazy over 33 Rooms! There is a great selection of vintage clothes, shoes, accessories and artwork, and everything is very, very reasonably priced.
Holly, the owner, was super nice and very knowledgeable about all of the merchandise in her store.
Overall, 33 Rooms is super cute, well stocked, and affordable. I'll definitely be going back! -

33 Rooms Rocks. I had gone for runs in the area and it caught my eye before. I finally made my way inside one day and there were many options for guys ranging from tshirts, polos, button downs, pants/jeans, jackets, belts, etc. Without even looking for something specific I found 2 shirts totaling $20. Awesome!
The owner, Holly, is an amazing lady. She was super sweet and even remembered me the next time I went! Great customer service, great prices, great options. -

What happens when you mix a lovely lady with an arts and photography background with a clothing shop? Answer: 33 Rooms. Shop-owner Holly opened 33 Rooms in March and has lovingly merged contemporary/vintage/vintage-inspired clothing with art. Upon walking in, you feel almost like you are in an art gallery with Jimmy Choos and funky jewelry as the art. Turntables sit next to the register blasting Holly's love for electronic music. I mean, the girl was playing Dubstep! Where else can you hear Dubstep in a clothing store?! Plus, Holly works with artists/designers to feature each month so you can always find a new, funky line of items whether it's paintings or dresses.
The clothing is super cute, satisfying vintage lovers (there are some authentic vintage pieces), trendy hipsters, and even Lady Gaga. Prices are reasonable and everything is of utmost quality. Holly also has great customer service but appears to be shy and may not necessarily talk to you immediately. But flag her down, and she is your new bff.
Overall, a lovely shop which makes you feel almost like you are at an art gallery or live show. -

Great collection, and Holly is fabulous and so helpful. She even picked out a few dresses for my friend and insisted that we not replace anything we tried on but didn't buy. 33 Rooms has a great guys' collection, too. Wish she had more vintage, but we love this store. We'll come back next season!

After a terrible experience at 'American Way' down the street. I come walking down this street and find this cute little interesting shop on my left. Immediately caught my attention. I won't even lie, the music was what dragged me in here to begin with:) Cudos! The settlement in here is amazing. All 4 walls are eye catching. Every rack is interesting & I guarantee you will NOT walk out empty handed. They even have these cute stuffed bunnies that the cashier (didn't get her name) makes from scratch. She just uses a hoodie of your choice. I believe she said they were $250.00. Hmmm, not $250.00 cute! But if I were drenched in millions of dollas, I'd cop me one of these :) Any how, they have countless amounts of band tees. I was going insane! I also came across a few organic tees (for you eco friendly serpents). They have a shoe area as well....not so fauned with the selection they had that day. Customer service is nice. I love that they're not on your ass and watching you like hawks n'shit.
Definitely will be back here again :)Listed in: I love that skirt! Where did…

Great store!!! It has the best prices of all the vintage stores I've been to in this area, and an amazing assortment of cool clothes.
The owner ( I think that was her, steaming new merchandise in the front of the store) was super-friendly.
The music was awesome...
Cool artwork on the walls...
The only reason I didn't buy anything was because the things I liked didn't fit me ((((that's just one of those things that comes with vintage clothing, no big deal))))
If you only have time to go to one or two stores, skip the others and go to 33 Rooms!!! -

I wasn't too impressed with this place, but no big complaints. She had a good assortment of second hand clothing/newer items but not a very impressive selection of vintage. I also liked the art on the walls, thinking of asking to put my own up there sometime soon. Very reasonable prices too.

This place RULES! I had just left disappointed and even angered at the prices and selection over a Playclothes, (also in Burbank, but seriously, don't even bother) when I found my new favorite spot for vintage right in my very own backyard! Holly is so awesome! She prices her items very fairly and appropriately, and she has a fantastic and funky selection! I found 5 things I couldn't live without in about 30 min. Plus she plays her amazing iTunes mix (it sounded like mine) while you shop and she just couldn't be sweeter! Don't waste your time at any other vintage shop on Magnolia, THIS is the place. At least start here if you're making a day of it, once you start hitting other stores though, I defy you not to find yourself right back at 33 Rooms.

I was asked to be a model for a photoshoot and needed to get some cool clothes. Went around to some shops in burbank and stumbled across this place.
So supprised to find so many great items. The only thing is I found one sweater thing by a japanese designer but I asked Holly and she told me it didn't quiet fit! I appreciate that but want it still!!!
I feel like she picks really great items that I would want to buy. Not a thrift store but a store that is run by a clothing stylist.
I will be back time and time again!
The prices are great too! -

I happened upon this store while checking out a classic car show and what a find! It's a clean and cute store with very reasonable prices and the girl that owns it was so cool. While she is very approachable and friendly, she lets you shop uninterrupted and at your own leisure. There are some adorable vintage pieces, cool modern clothing, shoes, accessories and a rack of hoodies!!!
The shop is located on Magnolia in Burbank in an area that has a surprising amount of nice boutiques, antique stores, indy shops, and a nummy bakery. The area shops have the eclectic cool aspect of Melrose but without the crime, grime and attitude. ;) -

This place is amazing!!! I like to stop in at least once a month because she is always getting new stuff in. She has everything from killer jewelry to amazing artwork, and all those clothes!!! I really want a couple of the stencils she has up on the wall right now, I just got to save up some money. There are a lot of used clothing stores on Magnolia but this one is by far the best!!!
