Dale at 33 Realty was the best at answering all our questions and finding us the perfect apartment. He made the whole process, from first looking at the apartment to signing the lease, a total pleasure. If only the whole moving process could be so easy and stress-free as Dale helping us find the perfect place! Highly recommended.

33 Realty is seriously the best group of people I have ever had the pleasure of renting from. Not only were they amazingly responsive during the process of getting our dream apartment, but they have also been equally responsive to any questions or concerns I have had since then. They take pride in caring for our apartment complex and that means a lot to all of us that live there.
I am happy to say that I just signed on for another year of my lease and when I am ready to move on and buy a place of my own, I know that I will be using 33 realty to find that as well!

We got into one of the most messed up real estate situations anyone could possibly get into. 33 Realty got us out of this mess and into our dream home, and I couldn't thank them enough.
Drew went the extra mile and beyond for us. The negotiations initially went very smoothly and I felt that Drew got us a fantastic deal on the house we always wanted in Wicker Park. He was very helpful in arranging inspectors for me, including specialty inspectors to check out some possible issues we had with the house (Drew is an expert with "fixer-uppers"). He arranged for our lawyer, coordinated our lending and insurance - he took care of everything! My last real estate agent just left me with a bunch of numbers to call on my own. We even ran into a problem with City Zoning - 33 Realty petitioned the City on our behalf to get us the clearances needed to complete the sale.
Then the big problem happened. On the night before our closing, on our final walk through (in January) - we found out the owner had shut off the heat and the entire house was from 2 in to 2 ft under water -all 3 floors! Drew dove into the freezing water in the basement (risking hypothermia and electrocution) and shut off the water while the seller's agent stood there with his mouth hanging open.
Needless to say I didn't buy the house the next day. After a LOT more negotiation with the seller, with the seller's insurance, and a great contractor that Drew referred to me....then 4 months of dust and temporary housing....our "fixer-upper" had turned into the "fixed-up" dream home we were planning on turning it into over the next 10 years. So in the end, I got a completely gut-rehabbed house with all the finishes I wanted for close to the amount I was originally going to pay for the more dilapidated "fixer-upper" version.
I owe Drew and 33 Realty everything. I doubt anyone else in the industry would've gone to such lengths to make sure the deal went through and I got the house I wanted. Hopefully no one else ever has to go through what I did, but if you have Drew and 33 Realty on your side no problem is insurmountable. -

Drew, Marta, and 33 Realty have been great! My partner and I own some small apartment buildings and, in general, have been very disappointed with the property management firms we have worked with in the past. Fortunately, 33 Realty is terrific and have done absolutely everything that they said they would when we set up the agreement to work with them.
When there are small maintenance issues with any of our units, 33 Realty finds someone to fix the problem - and it is fixed promptly and at a reasonable price. They know how to deal directly with our tenants which really takes a burden off of us. The property management arrangement has worked exactly as we hoped it would.
In addition, when we do have a vacancy, Drew is quick to find us new tenants at a very competitive rate. The tenants Drew has found have all been responsible people and the kind of tenants you want to have.
Finally, Drew and 33 Realty are a pleasure to work with. They are very responsive to phone calls and go the extra step in solving any problems in a timely and efficient manner for both us and our tenants. They have certainly made owning rental properties easier and I would highly recommend them. -

If you are looking for an apartment or condo in Chicago I highly recommend working with 33 Realty and John O'Neill. John has helped my friends and I get great deals on numerous places to live in the city even on short notice. John was very professional and responded promptly to all my emails. I could quickly tell after speaking with him for a few minutes that he really knows what he's talking about and knows the ins and outs of every building and neighborhood. He listened to what I was looking for and was able to find me the exact apartment within my price range and location that I wanted without wasting my time looking at places I didn't like or were not was I was looking for. Working with John was efficient, stress free and made the process exciting, not overwhelming.

My girlfriend and I found out that we needed to find a new place in Chicago and had about a month to do it. We tried looking at places on Craigslist and calling various buildings ourselves, but weren't having much luck finding a place that met our needs especially considering our limited window. Then my old lady contacted Susan Ruzon at 33 Realty. She was awesome. In one day we looked at more places than my girlfriend and I had looked at in the previous weeks. When our first choice of condos didn't work out, not only did Susan find us a new place on the quick, she found us a better place. Throughout the whole process Susan was a joy to work with and incredibly helpful, even asking smart questions about the places we were looking at that my girlfriend and I didn't think to ask at the time. I couldn't have had a better experience finding a new place to live and couldn't have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable and helpful person to work with than Susan Ruzon at 33 Realty. If I ever have to move again I will definitely be calling Susan. If you have to move, you should contact her too. 5 stars.
