Review from Miika m.
I had several hours to kill before my flight was scheduled to leave, so add in the troubles of driving around downtown Boston in general, I followed a bunch of construction trucks pulling into this public parking lot to ease my frustration at getting pointed in the wrong direction due to all the one way streets here.
I drove all the way up to the 9nth floor parking and took the elevators down to the lobby. At each floor, they offer the convenience of small parking cards which reflect the floor you are parked on. In my case, the card was red because I was parked in the "Red" garage 9nth floor.
I was deposited in the lobby that held the pay machines as well as the entry into Marshall's clothing store. Right.
I entered at 11:10am.
I got lost on my way back and not only because I was heading the wrong way but I was pointed in the wrong direction. I finally saw the address for 33 Arch street and walked into the foreboding lobby for assistance. The two men behind the information desk were steely and unsmiling and kept on eyeballing a man pacing on his cellphone a few yards away.
He told me I was at the wrong building, even though the address stated 33 Arch Street. He motioned that I was to go to the other side of the street where the Marshall's was located and pay in that lobby.
Finally, I pulled into the correct Marshall's (never mind that the location was not even facing Arch Street) and got even more insulted at the price tag:
Exited at 13:26 pm. Rate of which blasted me at $33.00
$33.00!!!! For two hours and a half! That was even more expensive than my parking in Chicago.
Then, I promptly got lost again attempting to find 90 heading toward Logan, no thanks to all the darn construction and detours on Congress.
Parking is worse here than in SF and for future advice, I'd have to say to cab it.
