For one-of-a-kind, creative, thoughtful, high-quality gifts for literally *ANY* occassion... visit 3 Wishes!
Chelsea is wonderful (even gave me change for the parking meter when I wasn't shopping in there at the time!!!) and you just love shopping there and visiting with her. The selection of cards is really great and I love the children's "entertainent" table where Emily is happy for 20 minutes while I get what I need. ;)
Check it out even if you don't need anything! ;)
This is the place to shop! You can always find a gift or card for any occassion....even for youself. Chelsea is the best, she has been known to help my husband pick out the best gifts. She can brighten your day with her smile and enthusiasm.
Even if Chelsea weren't so damn sweet and spunky, even if they didn't carry my CD's in stock, even if they didn't have the VERY BEST candle and stationary selection, this STILL would be the best gift store in Alameda, if not the East Bay! I can get a gift for nearly everyone i know there, and do! Run, don't walk to this great boutique store!

This place is THE first place I go to buy gifts for my friends, and for myself! Today I bought a… Read more »
Great gift store in an excellent shopping area on Park st! I did all my shopping for 4 friends/family members in this one store. I found Sally Spicer bags, soy candles, great jewelry (not the typical boring styles), hip LUG traveling products, and toys and hip baby wear. The toys were innovative and not the usual junk you find at Toys R Us. There was even more of a great selection - bath robes, cards, bar/martini items, cool t-shirts/hats, modern-design frames, cute slippers, books - it was great! Nothing was over-priced yet. I asked the owner where she bought her merchandise and she said she travels to NYC every year to buy the latest products. What was best thing, was I didnt have to run around shopping, which is very time consuming, I was able to buy everything in just this one store. I liked that she sold trendy, modern, recent, innovative, practical gifts. The owner, Chelsea, was also very nice. She didnt invade my space, she let me take my time and roam. I highly recommend 3 Wishes
My favorite East Bay Gift Giving store. They have fun chachskis (sp?), yummy candles, hysterical cards, pretty jewelry, and the sales staff is friendly and helpful. They will even wrap your gifts... for free!!! They were the first I'd seen to carry bacon flavored mints... an example of how silly they can be.

Chelsea, the owner of 3 wishes is so much fun, I bought the cutest handbag from her and could have gotten 3 more it was so hard to choose. She has the NICEST cards and candles anywhere and she carries my favorite Sonoma Lavender products and Pomegranite bubble bath. GO TO 3 wishes and do something NICE FOR YOURSELF!

3 Wishes offers tasteful and somewhat kitschy gifts for those who adore girly things. I splurged yesterday on an over-sized Shiraleah satchel, Hello Kitty sniff facial tissues, a Pacifica soy candle and "Garden at Home" gift sets...all for me! 3 Wishes isn't all fluff. I impulsively grabbed "The Writer's Toolbox." I hope this truly stimulates my creative muse.
This place has some really cute items, but everything is really overpriced. I went there to get my mom something for Mother's Day, and all I could get was ONE candle, a bath salt package, and a bar of soap. The total was almost $50. Eh, I guess my fault for waiting until the last minute. But honestly, the stuff there really is unique and there are many things there that you probably won't find at large stores. So if you're main interest is to get something unique, and don't care too much about prices, that place is a pretty nice gift shop.
This is where I go for girlfriend gifts and I usually walk out with something I had to have for me too.

so check it-
this is the spot. the one stop shop cite for gifts for that one person on your list who you have no clue what to get for them. here's the best part- the gift wont seem cheesy! Yes, they have candles, but really good smelling quality candles! They have jewelry that is frickn' awesome and unique. The cards are extra special, because they don't have dumb phrases like- "we belong together like two peas in a pod" bleech... 3 wishes doesn't have that shizz.
you'll find stuff for yourself, too and that can get kinda dangerous- so be forewarned!
3 cheers for 3 wishes...if that was on a card...three wishes wouldn't sell it.
This is my favorite gift store in the SF Bay area. I live in SF, but I still drive to this cute little place to get gifts for my girlfriends: birthdays, "cheer you up after a break-up" gifts, and most importantly, baby showers! Three wishes has the cutest collection of baby gifts. It's not overwhelming like Babies' R Us or any other dept. store. They have carefully selected items in their baby section and they are just the CUTEST gifts like hats, socks, and baby T-shirts. My latest favorite is the fortune telling baby T-shirt (like a fortune cookie!) The mother-and-father -to-be get to open the T-shirt in a carefully sewed together cloth bag (sorry, no sneak peaks!), and it predicts the baby's future career! Funny ha-ha! They also have cute stationery as well, and the super friendly staff (the one I deal with works around lunch time, sorry I don't know your name!) does a great job of gift wrapping! Definitely my favorite gift store in the Bay area. No need to buy a gift, and make a separate trip to get a card at Hallmark!
