Spoons is a great place to get a cool treat in the hot central Texas summer! I love frozen yogurt bars and Spoons is one of the best! They always have a good assortment of flavours to choose from and the topping bar has a nice assortment of fresh fruit and other toppings! I first experienced Spoons at their original location in College Station. I was so excited while shopping in Waco with my mother to catch a glimpse of this new location! I dragged my mom in at the end of our shopping spree and treated her to a cup of yogurt! She is now as in love with Spoons as I am!

In the mood for a good and somewhat healthy dessert? 3 spoons is a great place for those who love ice cream with other crap blended into it. If you're a fan of the Dairy Queen Blizzard, this could be your dream come true!
3 Spoons allows you to serve your own ice cream, which they have a variety of flavors (12 I think). They rotate a few every week. (My favorites are snicker doodle and golden vanilla cake batter)
After you pick your flavor of yogurt (as much as you can fill in a big cup) you can mix in a plethora of different toppings from candy, cookies, fruit, syrups, fudges and even cereal! (i love the frosted animal crackers)
You pay by the weight, which can average between $3-$5 depending on
how much you put in the cup.
PROS
- Great tasting yogurt, lower calories than ice cream
- Your in control of what and how much goes into your cup
CONS
- Sampling and serving yourself can sometimes be a pain as the line loops right by all the yogurt machines so you have to learn to politely cut in front and back of people. -

This place is great. All the fruits are fresh, there is a wide variety in flavors that change weekly, and it's cheap. We always sample most of the flavors, but we end up going to our default, original tart. They are also active in the community and do fund raisers with organizations. Although 3spoons triumphs all frozen yogurt places in Waco, we've experienced better places in Dallas and Houston.
