Alexa is excellent! She is very professional and skilled at the art. I plan to schedule regular sessions. I felt relieved and rejuvenated after my visit. She is highly recommended!

Specialties
Thorough & comprehensive Depth Massage that is still relaxing.
Massage is used in collaboration with some of the best work of Physical Therapy, and can also incorporate gentler Energetic Work, such as Reiki & Acupressure, as well as forms of Hydrotherapy, like Hot Stones & towels, & Aromatherapy.
As something of an athlete myself , I find that there are areas or times where the best stretching techniques I know are no match for Myofascial Release & Ischemic Compression of Trigger Points.
Give me a call if you'd like to know what all that means & how it might help you feel more satisfied & less distracted by pain & tension.
To your health!

History
Established in 2007
I had a friend way back in High School who said one day when some friends & I were relaxing outdoors & another had a headache, that she could relieve it. Another said she had one also, & I had this feeling that I help too.
I became a practitioner of a kind of Energy Work back in 2000, called Reiki, developed by Mikao Usui in 19th century Japan.
I've always drawn from a strong intuition, & sometimes I think this is my best tool. But I also believe strongly in the use of Science, both Eastern & Western, for it represents thousands of years of experience and searching for what are the best healing techniques. I find the best is Trigger Points - a godsend for the over-worked body that wants to stay in motion, or relax in peace.

I discovered myself as a healer 12 years ago, after a friend laid hands on another friend to relieve a headache, and I realized I could do the same.
Two years later, on an island off of Cape Cod, I became a Reiki practitioner.
My first love was dance, and have practiced modern and other forms for 22 whole years already. I also love a lot of sports, music, the outdoors, travel, food, humor, and humanitarian work.
I am also a Psychology Student at Portland State University. I plan to continue manual healing for another 10 years or more, & start Social Work, & then Counseling, first with children, & then adult survivors of trauma, within the next few years.
