Good Mexican food in large, large portions. Massssssssive menu with a great variety of food options, including a large number of seafood dishes. A great choice is Mariscos Jarochos, which is just full of all type of seafood, including fish, shrimp, small scallops, octopus, etc...just delicious!
Chips and salsa came quickly, and the salsa options were good.
Lastly, great prices on food, on house margaritas...and a good tequila selection. Most menu items were only $9-15 for large portions, so a great value

My husband and I driven by this place over and over again.  The parking lot is often very full so we thought we would give it a try since it is so close to where we live.  Walking in the interior had a very chain feeling and I think I should have known better just by that.  When we were seated we were called "Amigos" which really seemed cheesy but not really a big deal.

The service was good and the prices were reasonable but the food itself was bland.  I have made better Mexican at home than I got on my plate.  It seemed mostly like pre-made food just slapped together when ordered instead of being fresh made.

My husband and I were both very disappointed in our meal especially after what some people have said here.  Maybe the good reviewers do not know what real Mexican food tastes like but this was definitely not that (more like Tex-Mex with no spices).  I guess we will just keep driving by from now on.

    This place was awesome!
Our server, Luis, was very attentive, and kept his cool with our rambunctious bunch of 12 people.
I had combo #23, one chile relleno, one enchilada, and one tamal. This was HUGE! I took the large, yummy tamale home for a nice little meal the next day.
For my first drink, I had the Bartender's Margarita, and second drink was Banana Margarita(yes they actually have a banana margarita on the menu!). The first drink was definitely better than the second, more flavorful. The banana margarita didn't really have a banana taste, more of a pineapple or pear flavor. It was still pretty tasty though.
My friend prearranged for the waitstaff to sing happy birthday, so it was great! They got every male server(there was probably 12 or so of them!) to sing in spanish "Happy Birthday" to him. They put a sombrero on him too. We were allowed to bring in our own birthday cake too.
Luis even SPLIT the check, which was a feat in itself.
3 Margaritas Louisville is the BEST in the chain!

As a long-time Arizona resident who just relocated to Colorado, I definitely know Mexican food.  I wouldn't say that 3 Margaritas is going to blow your mind, but it's above average in all aspects.  The food is good, the service is prompt, and the prices are reasonable.  The only warning I would give is about the portion sizes: they are huge!  I ordered a large, three-item combination the first time I went, and the plate was honestly the size of a medium pizza pan.  I got two solid meals out of that order.  My second time here, I ordered a smaller, two-item combo, and that was more appropriate for a single sitting.

A group with 5 young children who are finding almost everything around them more appealing than staying at the table and various adults arriving at different times could be a challenge for a server.  Our server here handled the huge table of people with grace, ease, patience, precision, and skill.  Quite impressive.

This was my 1st time trying 3 Margaritas.  I wouldn't have noticed it there, and had not heard of it previously.  Some people I know were meeting for dinner here before going to Loveland for the postponed fireworks by the lake.

I got lots of ideas for what I would order next time sitting at such a big tableful of people.  Many of the chicken dishes look excellent.  Servings are gigantic.  Most dinner servings are easily enough for 2 people.

I ordered the Chile Relleno, soft version with the anaheim chile & eggy   coating, not the deep fried one.    It was good.  Much too cheesy for me,  but on the plus side it was the white traditional mexican cheese and not orange cheddary cheese.   Beans and rice accompanying it were tasty, as was the dollop of guac atop it all.  Very filling meal.

The balloonman all dressed in bright yellow was a hit with all, young and old.  I hope they gave him a really good tip.  I was at the opposite end of a very long bunch of tables pulled together, so mr. balloonman was far away from me.

It was fun seeing some people I hadn't seen in years, and of course nice to have a fireworks experience in Loveland afterwards.

I'm writing this review because every time we try a new Mexican restaurant in the Boulder area we always leave saying, man wish we had gone to 3 margaritas instead.  Here are a few reasons why.

Margaritas:  The Original margarita is the best margarita we have had anywhere and for 6 bucks the best bargain around.  Always potent (usually need to stop at 2) and always tasty (no sickly sweet and sour mix).

Service:  All the servers there are really friendly and attentive.  Having said that the front room always gets the better servers so we try to sit in there when possible.  Servers are always willing to share recommendations and have never failed us yet.  A number of them also recognize us by sight and even if we don't have one of our regular servers they are sure to make sure whoever our server is that night knows our likes.

Food:  I've always been satisfied with what we've eaten. We tend to stay away from the combo platters and order something specific and have always found it tasty.  The Pollo Colichi is one of our favorites and something we never would have tried if not recommended to us.  Also, remember to ask for mushroom salsa. It is not on the menu but just ask and they will bring it.  I am not even a mushroom fan and I love it.

Kid Friendly:  Kids are always welcome and cared for at 3 Margaritas.  Everyone acts happy to see the kids and not annoyed that they are there. Besides their normal spicy salsa they also bring a mild salsa to the table for the kids. I don't know why more places don't offer a mild salsa for small children.  My son eats it up by the spoonful.  They have also been careful to alter dishes when needed to handle my son's dairy allergy.

The Louisville location is our favorite followed by the orchard location and then the 120th location.  For whatever reason we haven't had much luck with the 92nd ave location.  It may be a chain but each location is owned by one of the children of the original owner so it is still a family restaurant.

I enjoy coming here for lunch, when the wife can meet me. The food is pretty tasty, there's never really a problem getting seated, and the staff is friendly.

    I'll be back.

Worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! The only positive thing to this meal was the guacamole  and that's hard to mess up. The beef had this weird taste almost like meat that has freezer burn and was going bad. The red sauce was more of a spagetti sauce. My son actually said he loved the spagetti hot sauce. The fried ice cream was ok, it was actually fried and very frozen. I don't think I'll ever go back here or suggest anyone else to go either!

We are so obnoxious- showed up here 20 minutes before closing (I know, I know...but we were really craving some good Mex)- they sat us with no attitude, served up a mean pitcher of margaritas, and lots of chips, salsa, and some delicious dip made of mushrooms and cilantro.

I had the ***spinach enchiladas, they were really good, not too heavy***.  The other people I ate with had shrimp quesadilla (HUGE with tons of guacamole on top) and a veggie burrito (also enormous with tons of toppings).

Fair prices.  Minus one star because I think the chips came out of a bag, and it kind had the "chain restaurant" feel.

    Decent, if gringoized Amerimex food.

Had chicken and beef tacos. Beef taco was good but the shells were overfried and saturated with oil. Chick was just shredded chicken, not seasoned at all.

Decent, friendly service from everyone at the restaurant. Louisville sure has some interesting people-watching - that's for sure.

    Overall, it's a solid 3. A-OK.

Ole! This place is excellent! Don't be confused, they have way more than 3 types of Margaritas here, including frozen flavored ones and more than just your typical strawberry or mango.
The menu is huge, a little overwhelming, but don't worry, there are pictures for many things, and everything it tasty anyway! I went here with a large group, about 15 of us for a work meeting, and even though it was such a huge group, everything pretty much came out at the same time, and on time, and everyone was very satisfied with their meals, and I think hardly anyone ordered the same things. They have lots of seafood items (a whole menu section) which I'm not used to seeing at a Mexican restaurant, and we also had shrimp quesadillas for apps, and they were delicioso.
Seems like there are several locations of this place, so definitely check it out!

This is a good place to go for lunch. The service is quick , food is served hot. I have had better Mexican food, so I won't say they really have great food, but it's a good choice to go out with friends or co workers for a spicy bite.

It is hard to find a Mexican food chain that attributes quality in their meals, well this is the place! I liked it alot, even though I ordered something that I was not in the mood for, I still cleaned up my plate and was full of happy~! If you ever go to another Tres M, ask them for a complimentary dish of their special salsa that is made with diced mushrooms, carrots, cilantro and Lemon juice, with jalepenos. You will never forget the flavor that salsa packs! All in all this place in Louisville was the best Tres M. I had ever had, I will go back. ~~
