Review from Rob E.
This past Saturday at the Broad Ripple Farmer's Market, we were privy to an experimental crepe that Connie was developing that had Mortadella and Capocollo from Smoking Goose, and topped with a little cheese and spinach. No sauce. None needed. The meats were so tender and the flavor so full that sauce would have hidden the fact that we were eating the best meat in the city. Smoking Goose is such a huge asset to the Indy foodie scene, and now that 3 Days is using their meats in new creative ways, we have a partnership (and a crepe) made in heaven.
This particular crepe isn't on the menu yet, but it should be. Thanks for the sampler guys. Now do it!1 Previous Review: Show all »

My Mom and I stumbled upon this place during Superbowl weekend. We were really happy we did because it was such a good meal! I got the "Black&Blue Moo" and my Mom got the "Harvest" and we thought they were delicious. The things are HUGE so you will not be hungry after! The raspberry sauce paired with the blue cheese was HEAVEN!
My only complaints are that A. some of the staff come off as a bit rude and B. I wish there were more choices. I understand for the latter that it's just a stand and there is probably not enough room but it'd be really nice to see different things on different days.
Also: Parking for the Market is the lot directly behind it. None of the others will take your validated ticket! There are no distinct signs for it so be careful where you park! -
Review from Tara M.
3 Days in Paris creperie has brought a touch of sophistication to the City Market. Look at those creperistas, all dapper in their snap hats and striped aprons in their French cafe-themed kiosk.
But do their crepes stand out?
Yes, yes they do. And they have a little something for everyone, both savory and sweet. My personal favorite is the nutella with banana and walnuts. Be prepared - the crepes are HUGE!
They also serve Intelligentsia coffee and French sodas.
A couple of words to the wise: There are always lines on Saturday mornings because of farmers market. My advice - place your order, go get your veggies, and then come back to pick up your crepe. You can get it served on a plate or in a little crepe cone -the cone makes it easier to eat. -

Yummy stuff. A good place for breakfast in City Market. I like the BLT but sometimes I think their use of sun dried tomatoes is too overpowering. Very kind people, too. That is always a plus.

I first tried 3 Days in Paris at a fantastic Yelp Elite event at the City Market. I finally made it back today for lunch. I ordered the Pic Nic, which is a crepe with chicken, cheese, onions, bacon and cilantro with a barbecue sauce. Watching the crepe master at work, I was wondering how such a thin little thing could be filling -- but the joke was on me, because I couldn't even finish the darn thing!
There's a nice selection of sweet and savory crepes; I noticed a few specials on the board as well.
I need to go back for coffee sometime. I was really intrigued by the pour-over coffee that they serve. -
Review from William C.

Do NOT go here expecting a majestically aromatic, silky, low-tannin high-caffeine two [Just TWO??]-dollar pour-over cup of Intelligentsia coffee. Please, don't. I usually make it about 5 minutes before my work shift, and if you're there just ahead of me I will be late (I mean, it's either that or skip the coffee).
I usually leave more wiggle room when I plan on breakfast or lunch, so I DO cordially invite you to enjoy an excellent crepe. These are very well composed and all that I've had offer a compelling mix of textures and flavors. And lest they seem pricey at 5.5-7ish dollars, be assured that these fellas are much heartier than they appear. The cheese tends to melt down into the point of the folded cone, leaving your final bites the most rich and filling (well, I guess that assumes you don't eat like some kind of deviant).
Of course, all is not well. Smoking Goose bacon is coming this month, meaning I'll have to start shelling out far more frequently for the Red Eggs & Bacon crepe. Stupid Goose, seeking out and murdering my self-restraint all over this city. -

I was at the City Market yesterday for the Indianapolis Polar Bear Pedal, and took the opportunity to snag breakfast from 3 Days in Paris.
I got the Red Eggs & Bacon crepe (egg, bacon, harvati, spinach, and red pepper sauce), which when folded and placed into a traveling cone thing, becomes a formidably sized and completely delicious freshness for your face. Seriously, I wish I'd have thought to take a picture of mine next to an elephant so you could see it to scale. It was incredible, though a bit greasy from the bacon and melted harvati, so it sat a little heavy on me for the ride. I could have easily eaten just a half of one.
I had some friendly email banter with the 3 Days owner, Colleen Dobbs, who let me know customers are welcome to request light cheese and bacon, or request it to be split in 2 for sharing. Also, starting this week, they'll be sourcing their bacon from local charcuterists, Goose the Market, which is amazing because the Goose rules.
Concerns about the wait are somewhat legit, but patience is a virtue and good food takes time. It's completely worth it if you've some time to spare or can get in before a line forms.
My primary complaint is that every time I go to the City Market, I now have another amazing food vendor to choose from.

I finally got around to giving 3 Days in Paris another go... So glad I did! I had one of their specials of the day and it was everything I dreamed and more!
The Perfect Pear Crepe was (generously) filled with pear, bacon, blue cheese, red onion, and balsamic vinaigrette. Never was I so happy that my friend Jenn doesn't eat bacon, and therefore I didn't have to share my crepe with her! lol.
I DID, however, share the nutella crepe, and we both loved it and made complete messes of our hands and faces... but we just laughed and continued to enjoy the awesomeness of our dessert.
Three Days in Paris definitely changed my mind on this visit, and I can't wait to go back! I'd love if they would add the Perfect Pear to their permanent menu too! :)1 Previous Review: Show all »

I accidentally stumbled upon this place while searching for a new lunch spot....LOVED IT!
The crepes are made right before your eyes....it's like watching art. I've had the Buffalo Crepe and the Green Eggs and Ham Crepe...both wonderful!
Be prepared to wait a bit for your order though....both times I've gone, it's taken about 20 mins for my order. -

This is one of the places that I wanted to try for ages since reading the awesome reviews on Yelp.
So I ordered Gren Eggs crepe that included chesse, ham, pesto and spinach and a cup of House Blend coffee. They were pretty good for the first few bites, but it gets way too "cheesy?" for me to finish it... it's like if i finish the whole thing, I won't eat crepe for another 3 months.
The good thing is it's a huge portion for only $6.50, who would think that downtown has such reasonable priced food? And the lady behind me split her crepe to two flavors, which is a wiser thing to do. -
Review from Jarrod R.
In the interest of full disclosure, I watch a great amount of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations and other Travel Channel programs where interesting characters travel the world and see interesting things. Well, Bourdain has mentioned on more than one occasion that he really enjoys visiting the local "market" in a city to get to the true character of the place.
Well, Indianapolis has a City Market in downtown Indianapolis and while she has had some ups and downs over the years, and it appears that things are back in an upswing. And 3 Days in Paris is part of that. We ventured into the market on the Friday of Superbowl Week for a little snack and found the fine folks at 3 Days in Paris whipping up crepes at their stand. The people there are very friendly and flexible and had a "hipness" without being too over the top.
We tried a sweet and a savory crepe - a chocolate with bananas and a ham and cheese and both were delicious.
I would recommend 3 Days in Paris to anyone. It's great for a little snack and provides a little taste of France here in the Hoosier Heartland.
(I can believe I just wrote Hoosier Heartland in a Yelp review - please forgive me) -

All previous reviews apply. And...
While you can get a crepe for lunch and a crepe for dessert (and a crepe for breakfast, brunch, etc), it might be more cost effective to get the half lunch / half dessert crepe.
What does this entail. Well let me tell you! Actually, I have no idea. But it's an option. And, a more frugal option to boot. Go forth and give it a try!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Why, oh WHY is my stomach not big enough to be able to eat both a savory crepe for a meal and a sweet crepe for dessert? Why do I have to choose? It's just wrong.
Nothing beats 3 Days in Paris. I want them to franchise and be available everywhere I go. I love the iPad with Square credit card reader. I love the line up to the bar in the balcony so you can send a note down to 3DIP to place your order. It's exciting like camping in your basement as a kid. I love the devices that allow the crepe-juice to be dispensed on two different griddles. I want more and hate Jon A for always checking in here when I can't. -
Review from Matt F.
Our last trip to Paris lasted, well...three days. Even if it were located in that culinary Mecca, 3 Days in Paris would be worthy of a stop. It took Benjamin Franklin to woo the French in 1776, but these crepes could probably do the trick today.
I've eaten there twice now and found it delicious both times. The crepes are light and crispy on the edges and can be filled with a variety of tasty meats, veggies, and cheeses. They are always willing to accommodate the vegetarians in the group.
The other reviews mention how great the coffee is but I don't drink coffee so I wouldn't know. Why would I want to mess around with that nonsense when there is great local beer to be had right upstairs? Hmmm...crepes and beer. Come to think of it, I believe that's how Hugo and Sartre spent their days in Paris. If not, they should have.
My only complaint is that because the crepes take a while to make, there might be a lot of standing around and waiting when there is a crowd.
Overall, this is a great addition to the City Market. -
Review from Heather J.
Ferndale, MI
The French established a consulate for the Midwest in the unlikely city of Indianapolis, notably in their farmer's market where wandering plebeians would never think to look for them. Mind you, the outpost of culinary sophistication exists only for three express purposes: tourism, cookery, and cultivating jealous longing in every visitor by taunting us a second time -- first with the order, and then with the delicious choices we didn't get carried on a plate by our fellow patrons.
If this is the sum of 3 Days in Paris, sign me up on the next plane. You'll pay? Not that Indy has direct flights to Paris, but good enough, I'll wait over in O'Hare or JFK.
This delectable stand foments revolutionary spirits against the patriotic blandness inherent in Middle American cooking. Why stand in a line for a mere hamburger or a grease-dripping pizza slice when you can receive a lovingly folded, lacy crepe stuffed full of the things we love best in this country? Chocolate, fruit, meat, maybe more meat? Perhaps even together! The menu of sweet and savory crepes chalked on the board combines many unfamiliar elements, but trust them, they work brilliantly well. I couldn't choose between a savoury or a sweet, so the beau and I went for a savoury each and split a sweet. So glad we did: our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and these are definitely not tiny Euro portions like someone might expect.
So what *can* you expect beyond salivary bliss? A line, for one, as the downtown suits know all about 3DiP. The wait is worth it though; crepes are not for the hurried of mind and purpose. They can be fast food, relative to the glacial pace of French dining, but how often can you watch and feel good as your crepe artist creates your food in front of you? People eagerly exchange notes -- more cranberries, extra sprinkles of cheese -- to customize their orders; I certainly went overboard on cranberries with my delight with mine. Half my beau's Black and Blue ended up on my plate, and mine (cannot recall exactly what I had - woe!) was on his. We were very pleased not only with preparation, but the willingness to help make our choice a tad healthier.
As for that sweet crepe, it was one of their specials and drizzled in melting chocolate, came close to divine. We held off getting cookies from another vendor situated in front of the creperie to receive our bounty. It really was too much for two people, but I don't care.
Expect a crepe coma afterwards. -
Review from Sunah K.
I'd been wanting to try this place out for a while after hearing such great reviews and especially after going to Paris last year. I was deliciously pleased and not disappointed. I went during the Winter Farmer's Market and I think I'll have to go more often. The crepes are light and warm. The red eggs and bacon savory crepe warmed me up on a cold winter morning--eggs, havarti cheese, spinach, bacon and red pepper sauce...mmmm cheesy... The sweet apple pie high crepe was a little messy and kinda fell apart while eating, but it was filled with apple, cranberry, and caramel goodness. Half-half portions were plenty, and a great deal for $7. Very friendly service. We didn't have the coffee but it smelled wonderful.

Food tried:
- Red Eggs and Bacon ($6.50)
I had the pleasure of sampling the crepes of 3 Days in Paris as part of the Shakespeare at the Yelp! last night. They were allowing us to sample the Red Eggs and Bacon crepe, though mine ended up being green eggs and bacon, and in a step further, my friend got green eggs and ham to really make a theme of the meal.
I've had the pleasure to sample a few crepes in my day, once at a place in Denver, another time in Chicago. The basic principle is always the same, but it's the creativity in ingredients within the crepe that make 3 Days in Paris really stand above the rest. There is not a single crepe on the menu that I wouldn't be interested in trying, and I will undoubtedly end up wandering back to the City Market for a tasty lunch.
My only feedback is that the crepe was very heavy on my stomach. I generally prefer dessert crepes because they are light and fluffy, but I've had a few meal crepes. I just felt like the lightness of the crepe was overwashed by the ingredients inside of it, and I think that they have a delicious crepe recipe that deserves to be savored. That being said, another reason to go on back--gotta give the desserts a fair shake before I leave my feedback standing.
Otherwise, I highly recommend 3 Days in Paris. I think they are making authentic crepe food in a quick and marketable way, and that is vitally important at the City Market. Check 'em out. -

This is a true gem in the City Market downtown. There are many different combos that are already up on the board, but I am sure you can build your own. For people looking for meatless options, this is a great choice...I recommend the Market St. or the Green Goddess.
The ladies behind the counter are top-notch and the coffee is delicious. Do yourself a favor and go get yourself a bunch of goodies wrapped in a pancake....you won't be sorry.
Parking an issue? Ride a bike and lock it up outside the door, literally 50 yards from the counter.Listed in: Veggie food in Indy

I regret I have waited so long to write this review, as I tend to visit this place when at City Market, even when enjoying a beverage at the Tap Room. The meatless crepes are delicious. The staff are always super friendly and will recommend a great combination of delicious ingredients if unsure what to order.
I admit I tend to tear off and discard some of the first parts of the crepe when I first start eating. It is not that it isn't good, I just think I'm too anxious to get to the middle! -

Now in the City Market, it's official -- we have a crepe stand! Having crepes on deck is one thing, and having awesome hand crafted local crepes is another awesome thing, then... they up & serve Intelligentsia coffee pour over style! Ridiculously legitimate. A ridiculously simple pleasure in life is a properly farmed, roasted, brewed & served cup of coffee. And, being the only coffee stand in Indy to serve Intelligentsia... well... that's doing things right. Annnnnnd... they're the "in season" offerings.
*Proper beans, check.
*Proper grinder, check.
*Proper water temp, check.
*Proper Haru water pot with accurate pouring stem, check.
*Proper Haru v60s with coil stand with Haru basins, check.
Yes, all very proper. And, it's $2 a cup.
I'll just stop there and let that $2 tag linger... like the amazing experience I had Three Days in Paris on Friday.Listed in: Kawfee, "Fry like bacon you freshamn…

I want to really love this place, but I like this place OK.
I have only tried their Sweet Crepes. Crepe with Nutella was very delicious - this made "3 Days in Paris" the best place to feed your picky eater at the City Market. I did not care so much about their Twist Crepes. It tasted just like wheat soft tortilla with butter, cinnamon and lemon zest. This place takes cash or credit card. When it's busy, it will take a while to get your food ready. I will give this place another try. Next time, I am going to taste one of their Savory Crepes. -
Review from Brittany L.
Indianapolis, IN
Had my first "evening in Paris" here Friday night between a visit to Sun King and a Polka Boy party night. I'll be honest, I've only had crepes in a Central American hostel, at a Belgian restaurant in DC metro, and at Brugge. 3x, ever. At the restaurants, the crepes were small, expensive (over $12), and sparsely filled. As in, I left the restaurant and was buying a snack half-hour later. Not so here!
All 3 of us ordered a different crepe (Red Eggs & Bacon, Green Eggs & Ham, Pic Nic) and they were fantastic! And HUGE! We had intended this to be a snack so we wouldn't spend as much at the Rathskeller, but we left stuffed for $6.50 per person. The portions (of the savory crepes anyway) are definitely enough for dinner. They come folded up and in a cone. I suppose you're supposed to eat them out of the cone, but they were so stuffed full of tasty ingredients (pesto, spinach, onions, bacon, cheese) that we ended up opening up the cardboard cones and using that as a plate to cut up the crepe and eat it with a knife and fork.
We happened to be there on the first night their new "zip line" ordering system was implemented. We had gone to Tomlinson Tap Room, which is on the 2nd floor of the City Market. 3 Days in Paris is on the first floor. So...they set up a fun zip line connecting the 2. There's a small table along the rail upstairs with menus, a basket of carabiners with clips on them, a pile of markers, an guest check ordering pad, and instructions. You decide on your order, print your name on a guest check along with your order, and clip it to the carabiner. Click the carabiner onto the zip line and send it on its way. Your crepes will be brought up to you, and you can pay via cash or credit card on their iPad.
Improvements needed would be: keep a pile of napkins and canister of forks and knives upstairs at TTT. Bell at the end of the zip line to alert the chef of orders. The food was fantastic though. I think my spinach was forgotten, but I didn't notice until I was nearly done because it was just so tasty! They had also run out of chicken for the night. I highly recommend this neat little spot.
To be clear, this is a booth set up in the City Market building downtown. You order at the counter and take your food upstairs (where there are tons of tables) to eat or if the weather's nice you can take it outside to the stage area. After-hours when the Tap room is open you can use the zip line or order at the counter and have your food bought up to you, but I wouldn't call it waiter service. -

Would you like to have a delicious made-to-order crepe?
(Uh, yeah)
Would you like this crepe to be topped with your choice(s) of fresh local greens & vegetables, a variety of juicy meats, eggs, natural & aged cheeses and homemade tantalizing sauces?
(Well, yeah!)
Would you like this crepe to be expertly tri-folded and tucked into a cardboard cone so that you can take it to go?
(Yeah yeah yeah!!)
And, just a suggestion, would you like to take this beautiful, savory, delectable creation upstairs and pair it with a fine Indiana craft pint?
(Hell's yeah!!!)
Hey, don't forget to come back later for a sweet dessert crepe!
(Right on, yeah!) -

This place had a lot of potential and I had high hopes. Had the Black & Blue Moo Crepe and was disappointed. Crepe itself was made right- but you could make this at home. Buy some deli meat/ cheese/ greens/ salad dressing and assemble. Actually...pancake box mixes have crepe recipes now so you can really make this at home. Maybe their sweet ones are better I'll have to try.
Also check their hours- they're only there Mon- Friday despite the City Marketplace being open on Sat too. City Marketplace is made up of a # of independent vendors and food stands operating on their on hours. -

Best Crepe's in town, hands down. I have had a few different varieties now and it is always nice that they vary up the specials from day to day.
For a small place in the City Market, 3 Days in Paris holds it's own against the best Crepe's i've had in Miami and LA.
They will also tend to stay open late on some nights to accommodate the Tomlinson Tap Room crowd. Their twitter feed is regularly updated with such information. -

best. lunch. downtown.
there, i said it. 3 days in paris has the most unique, fresh, delicious, and varied lunch options in all of downtown - plus, their most expensive crepe is only about six bucks.
they hand-make both savory and sweet crepes in the middle of the flourishing city market.
i have tried:
- red eggs and bacon (fresh bacon and a roasted red pepper sauce with loads of cheese)
- st. stephen (which i personalized to my liking to include melted chocolate shavings, cream cheese, walnuts, strawberry jam, and powdered sugar)
- green eggs and ham (delicious ham, mozzerella, and their famous pesto sauce)
- picnic (a delicious mix of everything you could imagine finding in a picnic basket, topped with a peppered berry sauce of some sort)
-big italy (a special of the day - basically a sausage pizza wrapped up inside a crepe)
- nutella, honey, and banana crepe
every single crepe that i have tried was a 5/5. no matter what you feel like - a breakfasty crepe, a lunchy crepe, or a super-sweet dessert crepe - they have something for you.
lots of crepe newbies don't realize that 3 days in paris is great about swapping ingredients, adding toppings, or switching sauce options. basically, you can customize any crepe that you want, at no charge. they have super-unique sauces that i would like to try all of - and whichever one sounds good to you, you can add to your crepe.
if you want to become a regular at 3 days in paris - start a punch card. every crepe that you purchase earns you a stamp on your card. after only 5 punches, you earn a FREE crepe of your choosing. win. (if you visit as often as i do....the 5 stamps comes very quickly).
i probably shouldn't add this to my review since it will ruin my personal crepe visits with no wait, but if you want to avoid the crowds, visit before 11:30 or after 1:00p.m. the hour and a half between 11:30 and 1 is always very, very busy - expect to wait 20 minutes or so to get your crepe. at all other times, you will order and receive your crepe in five to ten minutes. be patient - things this delicious take time to hand-craft. also, avoid them on wednesdays when the city market is going on outside - they tend to have a steady stream of business all day long. -

Beautiful. That is, if this is the same place that I used to "frequent" a long time ago, on E. 4th Street or somewere??? In Bloomington? Then I love it... I brought some actual French company with me the first time, and a "girl" companion the second and third times. I'm assuming that, if this place is a creperie in in., it's gotta be good. Just because I so love the unlikely combination of Hoosiers and the French culture. :))

This was by far one of the most impressive meals I have eaten, ever! First of all it is mesmerizing watching the crepes being made. Then the first bite, my eyes went wide and my taste buds were singing. Had the Black & Blue Moo, beef, blue cheese, mozzarella, red onions, dried cranberries, and raspberry chipolte sauce. Unbelievable! Cranberries were sweet and the blue cheese was pungent, resulting in an overall amazing crepe. Also tried the Market St. crepe, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes, celery, spinach, Havarti, and pesto. Delicious! This was just another meal where I walked away almost ticked off that I haven't been eating here all my life. I am almost afraid to go for a dessert crepe and coffee, I may get the vapors and pass out.

Review from Trevor G.
I've been putting this review off for a long time. Why?- Because I have no idea how to express how ridiculously delicious it is.
The Coffee: 3 Days serves Intelligentsia coffee. That is- they do pour overs of Intelligentsia coffee. Beer snobs will recognize this as the coffee used to brew two of the greatest beers ever created: Three Floyds Dark Lord Imperial Stout and Goose Islands Bourbon County Coffee Stout. Yeah, it's that good. You know how when you are looking at the bags of coffee at the grocery store or reading the flavor profiles of the coffees at Starbucks and they use words like "floral" and "fruity" to describe the taste? Then you order the coffee with "floral, cherry notes, and hints of tobacco" and you say to yourself "WTF! It just tastes like chocolate and smoke!"- just like every other cup of coffee you have ever had? Well, this coffee actually lives up to its description. I had no idea coffee could taste this way- and I drink a lot of coffee. 3 Days always serves Intelligentsia's House Blend- this is pretty much tastes like every other cup of coffee that you have ever had. When you visit, I would suggest ordering one of the other two roasts- which are seasonal. You won't be disappointed, and if you are let me know know. I will personally come down to the Market and beat the crap out of you because you are obviously a moron.
The Crepes: None of these are even remotely bad. Not one. My personal favorite is the Hot Date, but unfortunately, this is not on the regular menu. (ask them if they have dates before ordering). The Red Eggs and Bacon is my favorite breakfast crepe. The Black and Blue Moo is my go-to if I can't get the Hot Date, but just see what sounds good to you. It will be.
Just when you thought it couldn't get better.- 3 Days stays open late on Thursday and Friday to serve dinner for the patrons at Tomlinson Taproom, and if you go to Tomlinson you never have so much fun ordering a crepe. There is a zip-line from TTR to 3 Days. Write your order on a ticket, how you want to pay, and your name. Then slide your ticket down the zip-line. In a few minutes someone will come up the stairs with your delicious crepes in hand.
This place is so good that I wish I could give it more than five stars. -

I'm neither a Crepe nor a Coffee aficionado, but I will say that this place, hands down, has the best Crepes & Coffee I've ever tasted in my entire life. I really don't care if something better exists, I'm 100% pleased with 3DiP.

If you would have asked me two months ago if I would be likely to give a crepe place a five star rating, I would've probably slapped you. But who knew that a savory crepe would go so well with a hoppy Indiana brewed beer? I sure didn't... Try the Red Eggs and Bacon Crepe because the roasted red pepper sauce and Havarti cheese are just so damn delicious together. While not the biggest fan of dried cranberries, they did not stop my enjoyment of the Black and Blue Moo Crepe at all. That thing partied in my mouth. After Jon A.'s review, I need to try the coffee. Oh and they have a zip line from which to place an order from Tomilinson Tap Room which is pretty rad. Je veux plus de crêpes s'il vous plaît.

Yum! Delicious light, warm, crepes filled with a variety of toppings. They have both sweet and savory crepes available. I had the Picnic (BBQ chicken) and my hubby had the Red Eggs and Bacon. Both were really good and a much better choice than the fried options we almost settled on. I'm so glad they were still open at 7pm on a Friday making them the perfect accompaniment to the IPA I was enjoying at the Tomlinson Tap Room.
