Review from Amanda J.
East Rockaway, NY
I love this place because it has a giant vegan menu with thoughtful dishes and unusual takes on old favorites. I always find myself doing uncharacteristic things just because I feel like I should seize the opportunity of being in a restaurant where everything is vegan, like devouring all the vegan butter and ordering ridiculous desserts. There are tons of great pizza toppings that you can mix and match to customize your order. The pasta dishes are also great, as are the "meat"balls.
On the flip side, I'm not too crazy about the decor. It's really just a pizzeria, and I never get the sense anyone wants you to stick around for too long even if you're having a full sit-down meal. The service is a little hit or miss, too. But if you want vegan pizza on Long Island, 3 Brothers is a no-brainer. -

KEW GARDEN HL, NY
It's very possible that anyone who knows me will kick me for writing this review. 3 Brothers has been here for a few years now; it renovated, the atmosphere got a little classier, and it's generally an RVC favorite and staple. It's also pretty cool that they came up with a vegan menu, which seems popular, though I regrettably haven't gotten anything off of it because it's too expensive for me when I've just needed a quick meal.
That being said, I have never once been happy with something I got here. I've had regular and Sicilian slices which were, at best, sub-par. I also think that I was overcharged. Post the prices so you can't change them at will! $4 for a lukewarm regular slice? Really?
I'm on Team Gino's. =/ -

Vegan pizza and cheese sticks.Win-win.
A couple of prior reviews range from amazing to poor.
A number of comments suggest with a disclaimer "Maybe If I were vegan"
Stopped by for a couple of slices of vegan pizza.
Pizza was pretty good.
Not amazing when dealing with the standard of regular pizza but pretty damn good for vegan.
If you're a vegan this place is gonna be a 4 star place.
If not it, it's gonna be a two star pizza joint. -

Their vegan menu is great! Every time I visit my parents on LI, I try to go here even if it's a 45 minute drive from their place. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious! I especially love the mozzarella sticks, buffalo soy drumsticks, and the spaghetti and meatballs. Best vegan meatballs I've ever had!

Brooklyn, NY
I ordered here once when I was reading up on veggie spots in the area. I was excited and decided to get the Buffalo Chicken pizza and an order of Alfredo with broccoli. The delivery was quick but kind of expensive. 45 bucks for that and small Chicken roll? Geez.
Well I didn't like the pizza. Weird taste and the texture was just off to me. I didn't even eat it. Then the alfredo sauce. It tasted nothing like alfredo and I do eat milk and cheese. I think they gave me the vegan version which I did want to try but after that meal I won't again.
I do want to give them a second chance and maybe order the buffalo wings and another type of pizza. -

East Meadow, NY
There is an astoundingly lengthy vegan menu, but we went with a few standards: mozz sticks (Daiya!), eggplant rollatini (even my Italian mom was impressed) and pizza- OH THE PIZZA. A contender for best pizza ever.
The place is spotless and the owner makes a welcoming and efficient waiter. Be sure to thank his son for making the established restaurant so incredibly vegan friendly in a most excellent way.
Can't say enough good things; I wish there was one on every corner!
Tip: save room for dessert: Vegan Treats!! -

What happened to my pizza?
I order their thin crust pizza for delivery...
1) all the cheese/sauce was entirely slid to one side
2) the pizza is a mess it looked like it was put together in a huge rush
3) they charge $1 for delivery! what the heck. The order totaled $19.50 when I could have ordered a pizza for $13 from a local spot.
Next time Im ordering from Sals. I was fooled by all the high ratings. It must be because of their vegan menu. -

New York, NY
I went there over the weekend and I loved it! The food was good and the people were very nice! My sister and I shared a small Backyard BBQ pizza and the mild Buffalo Soy Drumsticks. For dessert she had the Red Velvet Cake and I had the Mexican Chocolate Cake (they will bring you a different menu for dessert). The pizza was ok but I loved the drumsticks and the cake. I brought the rest home for my mom and she actually liked it. She's very picky so I was surprised. I will be back again!

East Meadow, NY
I've been back here a few times since my last review and after tasting more of their dishes that aren't pizza, I've been less and less impressed.
I just recently came here and had Seitan Parm ($15). The portion is huge. You get 4 cutlets and a salad for what you pay. I was looking at it and hoping for something delicious but I bit in and instead I got... bread. The whole thing just tasted like bread. The seitan was extremely overbreaded, undersauced, and underseasoned.
I decided to cut one of the cutlets in half and isolate the seitan to see if it even had any flavor. It didn't. It just tasted like straight up vital wheat gluten and water with no seasoning. I was extremely disappointed.
I had a taste of the Eggplant Rollatini and it was also a HUGE portion. It really lacked in flavor as well and tasted almost the same as my dish. When I tasted the filling it was delicious. Unfortunately with all that breading on the eggplant you could barely taste it.
Things that have been consistently good here are the pizzas, lasagna, free bread, and mozzarella sticks and I highly recommend all of them as they are all fresh and delicious.Listed in: Vegan Long Island, Vegan Pizza

Center Moriches, NY
It doesn't look too snazzy from the outside, but the vegan menu is hugeeee! I just started being a vegan (I was a vegetarian a long time beforehand), and I was amazed with all the options for vegans. I have been cheating myself lately and 'assuming' a lot of food is vegan (i.e. pastries in diners, etc.). This place makes me want to be 100% committed to veganism. It is awesome how 'real' everything tastes. For an appetizer, I had the crab cakes. They were so delicious; I loved the 'tartar' sauce. Yum! I shared a vegan pizza with my vegetarian mom. We ordered "the works." It was piled with soy sausage, soy pepperoni, 'tapioca' cheese, etc. It had so many toppings. It was very tasty. My only regret is my gluttony. I ate way too much because it was so good. It gave me a major stomach ache, but it's good to know they give you more than enough to eat. I just need to learn to doggy bag my food!
HOWEVER, I did 'doogy bag' my dessert --- vegan carrot cake!! :o It was fantastic. I actually ate it right when I got in the car (shame on me!). I definitely recommend it for vegans, veggies, meaties alike. :P I was fooled.
In addition, this place is great for non-vegans (i.e. those that won't eat vegan food x.x). That is like my brother and sister, who were with me. My brother had his own personal pizza that he could not finish (the servings here are awesome). My sister had two slices @ 2$ each. Pretty cheap compared to elsewhere. I recommend it overall. :) -
Review from Jenna M.
Today I found myself on Long Island with a rental car at my disposal, so it seemed only logical to swing by Three Brothers on my way back home to the city. I only had time to get take-out and bring it back to my apartment, but my experience with Three Brothers in that capacity was near-perfect. I called in my order to a friendly and helpful staff member, who was able to explain a few of the items on the vegan menu to me before I placed my order. It was ready and waiting for me when I arrived, and the cashier even confirmed for me that everything was vegan. Awesome!
I'm a little embarrassed to describe all of the food I took home with me, but in my defense, when am I ever going to be out on Long Island with a rental car again? I could barely keep myself from eating all of the Daiya mozzarella sticks before I even got out of the parking lot. They were seasoned really well and were so reminiscent of one of my favorite non-vegan childhood foods. Even the marinara sauce was amazing. When I got home and could be a little more civilized, I enjoyed the baby spinach salad (with Dr. Cow shaved vegan parmesan cheese, that was a treat!) and a few bites of the seitan burger, which was really tasty. I'm sure these will both make an awesome lunch tomorrow as well.
I also got a Vegan Treats strawberry shortcake, although that was admittedly gratuitous, since you can't throw a rock without hitting a Vegan Treats cake in New York. But it was the perfect ending to the meal, and I was really glad that Three Brothers had thought not only about the extensive vegan dinner menu but had also made sure to satisfy my vegan sweet tooth with a great selection of desserts.
My only gripe is, of course, the price. I recognize that they are offering something pretty unique in Rockville Center and it's probably not easy for them to source all the vegan ingredients for the meals, but I can get similar-quality greasy pizza place vegan food in Manhattan for about half the price. Nothing on the menu is under $10; my bounty today cost $45 altogether. Yikes! Not justifiable more than once in a great while. But it was a treat this afternoon, for sure.
... and yes, I put it on the company card. -

I can't believe I haven'y reviewed this place yet as I've been going there for quite awhile...
5 stars all the way. The have a FULL vegan menu as well as a completely separate menu for your meat eating friends. Vegan apps, vegan entrees even vegan dessert. The food is awesome. Try the seitan parm! -
Review from Nicole L.
New York, NY
I didn't expect to come to 3 Brothers, which is truly a glorified pizzeria, and have them offer a vegan menu with several pages worth of options. While they also offered a regular menu, our entire group ordered off of the vegan one, and all the dishes, for the most part, were welcome substitutions for regular Italian American offerings.
Our starter, the vegan caesar salad, possessed a creaminess that we didn't expect considering no cream or eggs were involved in the dish. The crunchy, herbed croutons added a great texture, and the dressing, filled with cracked black pepper, had a rich, creamy flavor.
I wasn't particularly impressed with my vegan penne alla vodka dish because it tasted nothing like the original. It was really only pasta with a dim, flavorless tomato sauce. I snagged a bite of the personal buffalo seitan & blue "cheese" pizza and was completely surprised. It was very good with a crispy crust, spicy seitan and tangy, creamy blue "cheese", and fooled even the most fervent meat supporters in our group.
There were only three tables occupied at 3 Brothers the night we visited, and as a result, the service was pleasantly attentive. The prices seemed a tad steep considering this restaurant really did look (from the outside and inside) like a step-above a pizzeria, but the quality of food and unique options for vegans make this restaurant one that is a perfect place to enjoy dinner, meatless or not. -

Massapequa, NY
I've been here twice so far: once for dinner and once for the new Sunday brunch. My boyfriend and I went with his family the first time because it's a great place for omnivores and vegans to eat together (my boyfriend and I are both vegan). The first time we ordered a whole wheat crust Daiya cheese & veggie pizza and the vegan lasagna. Both were delicious and really filling. The pizza and lasagna had a bit too much Daiya for my liking, but that's just personal preference (I love tons of sauce and only a tiny bit of cheese). The taste and texture of the cashew-tofu ricotta on the lasagna was very much like real ricotta cheese. My boyfriend's family members really enjoyed their non-vegan dishes too.
The second time we went back to try the brunch, and it was like going to vegan Ihop! I've never liked crepes before, but I decided to try them anyway because the fillings sounded appealing (banana, strawberry, vegan nutella, and whipped cream). It was amazing!--so light and fluffy--I enjoyed every bite. My boyfriend had the french toast, which he said was good. But it was made using French baguette, and he was really expecting the sliced sandwich bread version that he had as a kid (the baguette version looked so pretty though!) The tempeh bacon we ordered on the side was incredible! I tried to replicate the recipe at home, but I couldn't achieve the same crispy texture. The brunch menu is brand new, but in the future I hope they add different flavored waffles like pumpkin, chocolate chip, and banana. And maybe whole wheat waffles, pancakes, and french toast!
Both times I've visited the service was really friendly, the dishes were presented beautifully, and the portions were huge. They recently did the interior over and it's more like a cute cafe than your typical take-out pizzeria. I just wish vegan brunch was offered on Saturdays too! -

Great place for vegan and traditional eaters to go together for a nice Italian meal.
Pros:
- BIG vegan menu. There's almost as much stuff on the vegan menu as there is on the traditional menu
- Super friendly and helpful waitstaff definitely added to the whole experience
- Filling a need that seems to be seriously lacking on Long Island
- Very fair pricing on both menus
- Very clean and inviting atmosphere
Cons:
- They were out of desserts that night, which I was kind of looking forward to trying
In the middle:
- Tiny dining room. Must make it hard to get a table on a weekend night. Fortunately we got there early.
What I tried:
- The vegan buffalo "wings". Wow, this is as close as your gonna get to the taste, smell and feeling of eating a real boneless buffalo chicken wing without there being actual chicken in it! Yeah the texture is not exactly chicken on the inside, but it was quite "meaty" in its own right. Makes you realize that most of what's so good about buffalo wings has nothing really to do with the chicken.
- The vegan pizza with phony 'roni. On the one hand, this was MILES better than any of the store bought "vegan" pizzas I've tried. On the other hand, if you've grown up your whole life eating and loving traditional pizza -- ESPECIALLY New York pizza -- this is just not gonna replace that. The daiya cheese is quite good, but just too different from real cheese for this to taste like "real" pizza. But if you're committed to vegan, and you want you some pizza, I imagine this is the best you're gonna get. I imagine it will help a lot of vegans stay on track!
I will definitely visit again as I'd like to try the vegetable lasagna, eggplant rollatini, and vegan desserts next time. -

Franklin Square, NY
I went to 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe in Rockville Centre on Sunday, January 16, 2010, with a group I belong to called "Vegan Long Island". There were about 25 of us there and I would venture to say everyone had a great time.
For one thing, the vegan menu is extensive. They have appetizers, salad - heroes, burgers and rolls - pasta, entrees such as Eggplant Rollantini, sides and a Create Your Own Pizza & Calzones section. Lastly they have specialty pizzas such as The Veggie Lover's Dream and Backyard BBQ. There are many more to choose from.
I was there for the vegan brunch which is served on Sundays from 11 AM - 3 PM. I had the scrambled tofu with tempah and potatoes. It was great. The tempah tasted just like bacon.
The service was excellent. The waitress kept the orders coming and didn't get mixed up even though we were a large crowd. I took home a large vegan pizza for my fridge and I had to wrap half of my meal because the portions were so huge.
I definitely recommend this as a Must Do on the Vegan Dining Out Circuit. -

Howard Beach, NY
OK - went back to try the new menus. After I posted my dissapointed review - Jay emeailed me with info on updates to the menu as well as a new vegan brunch. I, of course, had to try both.
The seitan is sooooo much better with mashed potatoes and sauteed greens. Seriously - much better. Really good actually - now worth the price, I guess. Except for one day - the greens were waaay too salty - but just once so far.
They also have vegan cappuchinos - when Jay is around - they are filled to the top - when he isn't - well they are not.
The vegan crab cakes are delish - would recommend. The cheese plate paired with a glass of wine is also lovely.
I don't care for the vegan desserts at all anymore - subpar. I know they get them from some fancy vegan bakery in PA - they need to find another place - or make stuff in house. I skip dessert all fo the time.
Now for brunch. I only had brunch here once - it was just OK. The eggs benedict was good - but you could not tell wheat you were eating. I did really enjoy the vegan crepes, though. Will definitely get them again. Other than that I would skip the brunch and try the main menu. Although I must add I have not tried any of the pancakes or other brunch items. I was never a big pancake fan.
So please give this place another try. It is good - especially when Jay is around. Portions always seem bigger and better when he is there. Go Jay!!!Listed in: Veg Eats - YUMMY!, Great places to eat in NYC and…, Cool Places on Long Island

I did however add that they are now good for dessert since they now offer a million vegan treats cakes!Listed in: Vegetarian/Vegan Long Island

Levittown, NY
When I first found this vegan italian place about 6 mths ago. it was very good but a little pricey. The food was very good with fake meats and cheeses. Since then I've gone back tons of times. The service is usually slow but the food was very good so I didn't mind and I figured it was ok to pay a little more since it was more complicated dishes like seitan parmigiane. Over these months the place has become more popular and I often see people ordering vegan food. (They also serve dead meat).
Unfortunately, in the last 2 weeks they raised their prices way to much. It appears that they've gotten more vegan customers and don't really have any vegan italian food competition on Long Island. Now a little mozzarella stick appetizer is $10. A SMALL pizza which is only 4 slices is around $13. Main entrees are $15-20. A slice of vegan cake is $6. And this is just a pizzeria not a fancy restaurant.
All in all the food is still amazing so I'll give it 3 stars but I won't be going there as much as the prices are just way to high.
Everyone needs to make money but not at the expense of the vegans. Unfortunately until there are more vegan restaurants competing for customers some places will charge to much. Hopefully this will change as more restaurants open up.
All in all, if you don't mind paying to much, the food is VERY good and they have a BIG selection. Also, the main entree size is large. -

Thank you Samantha B for posting this. Vegan pizza--that delivers--on long island is unheard of. I haven't had pizza in over a year, got sucked in to a travel channel special on the greatest pizza in the US. has to satisfy a craving. yelp to the rescue...
i ordered the vegan sicilian with green peppers and eggplant. came out to 20 bucks. a hefty price for one pie. but for vegan cheese, and the fact there is no competition, they can do it. it was definitely delicious. its a huge pie so i have left overs for a week! totally worth it. my friends ordered the regular grandma pizza (hah real name) and they raved as well.
going to go warm up a slice mmmmm! -

Vegan pizza with HOMEMADE vegan cheese and sausage. COME ON. Cannot be beat.
They also have a wide variety of veggie toppings, like grilled eggplant, sundried tomatoes and artichokes! Plus they offer whole wheat crust! WINS all around! -
Review from Doreen L.
Went here yesterday with a bunch of friends who kept telling me how awesome this place was. I have to say, I was impressed! I loved the hot, fresh bread and vegan butter - but being that we were a large table, there was never enough bread and butter for all of us. I only got to enjoy two pieces of bread, but probably could have eaten a whole basket myself, it was so yummy!
I really enjoyed the vegan mozzarella sticks - and I don't usually like mozz sticks. I probably enjoyed these vegan ones better than regular cheese ones. I also had the mock-meat buffalo wings, and they were good!
For my entree, I went for the vegan penne a la vodka. It isn't what you'd typically expect if you're used to regular penne a la vodka. It was pasta in a cashew sauce, making it creamy like penne a la vodka, but with a much different taste, and a slightly different consistency. Still enjoyable, though. I had enough for two nights worth - I wrapped the other half of the plate to bring home.
I also tried a slice of the pesto tofu pizza that my friends had, and it was decent. Good flavor!
I'd probably opt out of getting the cheap red wine next time - and would settle for a beer.
I'd definitely return here again! :) -
Review from Jeffrey K.
Rockville Centre, NY
Maybe you have to appreciate vegetarian to eat here. We got dinner her a few weeks back and we ordered dishes rather than pizza (non-vegetarian dishes).
We ordered pasta, mozzarella sticks, calzone and, I think, garlic bread. Based upon the previous reviews, I figured we couldn't go wrong. Think again. The flavors all seemed to be off, the cheese in the calzone was runny, even the mozzarella sticks weren't anything to speak of. Truthfully, it almost tasted like we got the vegan varieties of these dishes, and that's not what we ordered. Nothing tasted the way it really should have.
Well I hate to say it, but it was not a memorable experience and I will gladly stick with my regular place for local Italian / pizza. But I am happy for the vegans out there that find this a quality place. Enjoy. -

I can't really complain about anything! Hammercy those daiya mozarella sticks! They're better than real mozarella sticks. The vegan pizza, we got the works. The other half had the vegan red velvet and I had the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. I was sorely tempted to ask if they had a bed that I could borrow for just a bit in the back but I declined. The small pizza was perfect, we had half to take home which reheat wonderfully in the oven. Soo..we'll be back!

East Meadow, NY
I will give this place a second try. The service was very friendly and polite and that ALWAYS grants a second try from me.
I had the vegan eggplant parm and it was one of the blandest I have ever tried. I didn't like the sauce - there was no flavor to it. The cheese was definitely different but not bad. The portion bordered on obscene - it had to be 10 eggplants that were served to me. The prices are high and that's a bummer and I understand you get a lot of food, but is that really necessary?
I was just shocked at how much of it there was - I would much prefer smaller portions and more reasonable prices.
I also had a salad with vegan ceasar dressing on the side and that was actually quite good.
The ambiance of the place also does not merit the prices they charge. It's fine that there are tablecloths and all that, but to have a blaring television hanging over the tables keeps the vibe VERY pizzeria like.....if you're charging high prices for pasta, then maybe change the overall presentation.
My date had the baked ziti and said that it was fine. Not bad but not amazing.
Again - I will definitely try it again. Everyone there was super friendly and answered all my questions patiently. I'm curious about the tofu pizza and the vegan mozzarella sticks.
I'll report back as soon as I can :-) -

My vegan mecca! Amazing apps, pizza, sandwiches and brunch (on Sundays). I love 3 Brothers, especially because I can go there with my omnivorous friends and they have just as many choices as I do. The people are friendly and efficient and I have had nothing but great experiences when dining in, picking-up or ordering delivery. I can't say enough good things about this place... It's my FAVORITE!

Portland, OR
We went there today since we were craving NY pizza and had read about their vegan pizzas. Got there and were surprised that they had an entire vegan menu. We had our minds set on pizza so we went with it anyways. I don't remember the name but it had sun-dried tomatoes, portobello mushrooms and roasted red peppers. My husband doesn't like fake cheese, so we opted without. They do have a nut based parm cheeze that I used. We both loved the pizza, the sauce crust and toppings were wonderful. I wish we had pizza like this in Portland. The guy who works there who is vegan, is very friendly and seems to really take pride in the vegan options. We also tried the fried oyster mushrooms and we were given a sample of the vegan cake. Both were delicious as well. I wish I could have tried more of the options.
Two small minor suggestions: offer vegan slices and unsweetened iced tea. -

Review from Darcy P.
I have to start off by saying I am not anywhere near being a vegan. I think maybe the proprietors knew my friend and I were carnivores because I had the worst experience I've had I think, safe to say ever.
3 Brothers Pizza was recommended by a few people and I figured since we were going to a movie in RVC, why not try something different. First off, when a restaurant says they have "added a vegan menu" I'm assuming there are non-vegan options. To my disappointment that was not the case (especially after seeing a huge delicious looking meatball or should I say "meatball"). We were never offered a choice in menus though I see they have real food on the website so maybe it was the waiters fault but either way...... After scanning the menu, I figured vegetable lasagna was playing it safe, no fake meat playing pretend, just veggies and cheese. I've eaten fake cheese before with no real issue. I kind of wish they wouldn't call it cheese but I digress. The only edible thing that came to our table was the order of fried zucchini sticks. They were fried in what had to be panko which was good considering they use canola oil for everything. Yum heavy grease woo! The "cheese" on top of the lasagna looked like Kraft cheese powder. I almost couldn't look at. I tore that thing apart, gag at every bite trying to swallow the horror that was my dinner. I can't even remember what my friend got but it looked equally appetizing.
Our waiter SUCKED! We actually ended up missing our movie because the guy took so long. It's not a big place and there were only 4 other people (2 tables) so why should it take forever and a day to get the check!! I even said, "we're in a hurry" with a smile of course but I think it made the jerk go slower! And his personality was awful. You think the guy would be shot if he smiled, was friendly or GAVE YOU THE OTHER MENU!
To top off the wonderful experience, I threw up. OMG I mean I was so sick I thought everything I ever ate was coming up just to escape the mess I subjected my poor stomach too. Automatically this place get s huge HUGE thumbs down in my book. I was considering going back to try the real food they supposedly offer but with such crappy service I don't see a point. I don't care of it taste like angels prepared it themselves, NEVER EVER AGAIN! -

FIVE STARS! Here's why: They have pages and pages of really really delicious vegan options, PLUS pages and pages of really really delicious non-vegan options. Everybody's happy! My biggest problem with Red Bamboo is that I have friends who just straight up get skeeved by fake meat. But here, everyone can get what they want and it's all outstanding. My personal favorite are the wings, although the mild is always really spicy. Make sure you leave room for dessert, because MMMMMMM. The cakes are from the same bakery where Red Bamboo gets their stuff, so that's awesome. It's comfortable here and the service is super super super friendly (perhaps almost too friendly, but that seems unfair to say). LOVE IT.

I've been coming here for over 2 years now. I love this place. I bring all my friends here as well. At this point, I have tried every pizza they currently have on the menu and I love them all. I think my favorite is the seitan buffalo pizza. Or the works. or eggplant parm. Okay, I can't decide. But even with non-pizza dishes, I've never been disappointed.

Very good. Like everyone says the vegan crab cakes are delicious (and you don't have to be a vegitarian to appreciate them). Stay away from the nut cheese platter and the vegan buffalo wings. Their vegan chocolate cakes are, however like the crab cakes, amazing. Their regular menu is also very good. All the ingrediants are very fresh. Salads are awesome and I love their chicken marsala pizza.

I had take out from here twice. It is amazing. So delicious! Had it with my parents. My mother and I are vegan and my dad is not, so it was perfect for us all. We had the tofu crab cakes ( so delicious, better than any real crab cake. We had the vegan buffalo wings that come on a stick! So amazing. Then I had the vegan Gluten Free penne alla vodka and my mom had seitan Cacciatore and my dad had calamari and spaghetti and meatballs and he loved it. The second time my mom had the seitan marsala and she said it was delicious. The penne all vodka was the best I have ever had it had tempeh bacon in it. Ugh so good! Service can be a little slow but its worth it! Love it here! Food for everyone! Hope they open more soon!

A few people have complained about the prices but the portions are GENEROUS. I got an entree for $16 (eggplant parm) which came with a huge Ceasar salad and enough eggplant that it actually was enough to last me for three meals. Add to that the fresh bread and the HUGE menu and it is well worth it. It looks like any other long island pizza place and that is part of the charm. To be able to walk into a place like this and not only have incredible food but also a real legit Italian dinner...Big ups to 3 Brothers!!! In addition to that the Mozzerella sticks are defiantly enough to share, and the flavor is ridiculous! Not only was it fair but it was incredibly worth it. I haven't had food like this in 8 years, since I went vegan. Worth the trip, I can only hope others follow suit and/or they franchise.

I had a pretty bad experience here regarding the customer service, we got the regular, not vegan versions of our dish & everything was slow, etc., but I posted a review about it & Jay, who I believe is in charge of the vegan menu, sent me a message apologizing & inviting my husband & I to come & try the place again. I thought that was really nice & professional. Oh, & I will say, while our service was terrible, the people were very very friendly. I haven't been really wowed by the dishes & while I love that they serve vegan I hate that they also serve veal :(. But I think I may give it another shot, perhaps I need to try something new? Thank you for responding & inviting us back, gave you 2 more stars just for that ;).

Okay. I get it. They have a vegan menu. But you know what? They are price gouging vegans! Seriously? $10 for mozzarella sticks? Also, the oil tasted dirty so the mushroom calamari wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. It's good, but for vegans traveling from NYC via LIRR, it's NOT WORTH IT. Quit price gouging!

We ordered out from here. They were very frazzled on the phone, and said they couldn't give me the total, but apologetic. I was excited to try some vegan items; I had read about them in the New York Times and had heard about them on veg websites. The vegan Buffalo wings and soy blue cheese dressing was absolutely delish - would def recommend!!! Even my omnivore Stepfather loved it and wants to get it again! The vegan pizza with spinach, olives, and Daiya cheese was odd. The whole wheat crust was good, but we were NOT a fan of the taste, and mostly the texture, of the cheese. It was also cold. In addition, there was VERY LITTLE spinach and olives on it. We did not finish it or save it. I would prefer to have a no cheese pizza with veggies than with this cheese. The eggplant hero was good, crispy fried, flavorful eggplant, but could have used more sauce, there was hardly any! My sister reported the chicken parm hero was good, but Domenico's in Levittown is better. The vegan fettuccine Alfredo was such a disappointment. The cashew cream sauce was fine (but lemony, why I don't know) and there were NO crimini mushrooms, peas, or tempeh bacon with it! VERY annoying, because I got that pasta because of the veggies!!! We did not finish or save this either. Overall OK, but would not go out of my way to make the 20 minute drive again, unless I am craving the vegan wings!
