Neighborhood: Little ItalyIf you want to eat nice and cheap sea food right next to water?
This is the place you have to visit in San Diego.
This place is located right next to water, and food is so tasty and cheap compare to the other seafood restaurant near location.
Sometime it is little hard to find the parking spot, so be there little early for no wasting time for parking.

My husband and I came here for a date. It has a very romantic atmosphere.. very dim and quiet and of course the beautiful waterfront view. The food was pretty good, nothing outstanding. Our server brought out a fish tartare (sorry, i forgot what kind of fish), that was on the house per the chef's request. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Anyhow, I found it to be a bit overpriced for the food, but I guess your paying for the view really.. which I guess doesn't matter since they're closed now..

Great high class fine seafood restaurant. The shellfish was exquisitely fresh, accented perfectly by the lemon juice and the accompaniaments, The chef definately took his time to get to know his ingredients and the care he takes in selecting the pairings definatly come through. The halibut was sweet and firm, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I agree with Karen, in the sense that the sauces accented the courses, and didn't drown them out. Great dessert selection also!

This place definitely provides a dramatic range of flavors for the tastebuds. The flavors were very powerful, but not overwhelming. It actually refreshed and awakened my palette. Each food had a very distinct flavor -- the chef did not rely on heavy sauces to carry the taste; he actually allowed each ingredient to "express itself". Sounds very corny -- but I'm not sure how else to describe it. Needless to say, everyone in my party was extremely impressed with dinner and dessert. We had the oysters, Artisan cheese plate (highly recommended), salmon pastrami, hawaiian snapper (highly recommended), diver scallops (a bit salty), and the halibut (highly recommended). The desserts were even more impressive -- we had the chocolate souffle, which was wonderfully light, and the lavender panna cotta, which really gave the tastebuds a whirl. Very impressed.
i had a bf who took me here on our 1 month anniversary. how crazy is that? it was HIS idea, by the way, to celebrate 1 month of togetherness...but i digress.
this place is ROMANTIC and then some. i remember that there were probably only 5 or 6 other tables in the place and we were the youngest people there. food was delicious, and service was impeccable. oh, and i guess they firmly believe in the man paying here because my menu had no prices. only his did.
fellas, do yourself a favor and impress that girl you just met by taking her here. she will most def put out sooner than later.
