Liked it. I didn't love it, but that's probably my own fault.

I wish there was a better selection of beer. Especially when places like Father's Office and Stout have great burgers AND great beer, I feel like 25 degrees should step it up.

As for the burgers, I ordered the #4... my mistake! It's a tuna burger with butter lettuce and chipotle mayo. It was just OK... the burger was definitely on the dry side. With the bun it was like a desert so I took the top part off and ate it open-faced. Also if you can't handle spice then just know that it is kind of spicy. If it wasn't for the chipotle mayo I wouldn't have been able to eat it.

I had a bite of my friend's #1 which was really, really good. Lesson learned... never try to be healthy when you're at a burger joint. The burger was cooked perfectly medium and everything on it was perfect too. If I come back then I'm just gonna order this. And you should too.

The onion rings were good but greasy. The sweet potato fries were meh - they were overly salty and skinny, so they felt very dry.

Service was good. We sat at the bar and the bartenders took care of us.

I love this place!  It helps that I can walk here from my apartment, but I would probably drive a fair amount for one of these burgers.  They are very reasonably priced for the caliber of food and even though it's a fairly small space, I've never had to wait too long for a table (I've also eaten at the bar, which is fine too).  The buns are amazing, the burgers themselves are cooked exactly the way you ask, and they have a pretty fabulous selection of toppings.  The fries, especially with the garlic aioli or ranch sauce, are amazing and come as *huge* portions.

They also have a knowledgeable bartender and a decent wine selection.  I had a great chat with the bartender about the elderberry notes in my white wine and he introduced me to St. Germain liqueur (made from elderberries) that I fell in love with.  They also have alcoholic milkshakes which are outrageous.  I only wish that the burgers weren't so filling so I could save room for a milkshake more often (although my waist line probably thanks me from refraining).

It does get busy, but the host/hostess are present and it's definitely worth the wait if you go on a busy night.  Definitely 100% recommend it as one of my favorite burgers in LA.

Great location and great ambiance! My burger was ok. Nothing to rave about considering all the great things I heard about the burgers. My burger was a classic burger. You can't go wrong but I felt something was missing. It was pretty bland. I didn't like the seasoning on the fries. Stick to old fashioned fries.

Inside Roosevelt Hotel, 25 Degrees offers diner style fair to hungry tourists, party-animals and hotel guests 24 hours a day.

The decor and ambiance are a bit interesting for a diner. The walls are covered with deep red wine colored wallpaper that has velvety filigree print. There's chandeliers and a lot of deep wood from the bar to the tables. The booths are a deep brownish red as well, and are very cushy and sunken in. Music selection on the day we visited was a bit strange going from low-key music (something not really memorable but chill) to Too Short's "Blow the Whistle."

The main draw for me was their burger as some have boasted this place to be one of the contenders for best burger in LA. You have the option to go with one of their standard burgers (4 different options) or you can build your own burger and choose your toppings and sauces. The toppings seemed pretty meh, but I did find their cheese selection to be decent. Cheese lovers will definitely be happy here. In the end, I decided to go for their Number One.

    Number One:
Brioche bun, caramelized onions, beef patty, gorgonzola cheese, thousand island dressing (I subbed in spicy aioli sauce), bacon.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the bun is HUGE. I found it to be a little dry as well. It did hold the burger together well, but despite its hugeness, some toppings still came toppling or leaking out (onions and oil from the cheese). I found myself eating the meat off the bun as it was just too much.

I wasn't very impressed with the meat either. It seemed like a decent quality chuck, but seemed a bit dry and overly done. I didn't find it too flavorful either, but that's probably due to the fact that gorgonzola is a pretty strongly flavored cheese and there's bacon. The ingredients do work together to make the burger somewhat interesting, but the turn-offs from the dry meat to the dry bun (not to mention flavorless aioli) had me meh-ing at my burger.

The onion rings (humongous!) and sweet potato fries were decent but not great. I did like the cute takeout box it came in presentation-wise.

As others have mentioned they do have happy hour everyday and a bunch of alcohol infused shakes. If I worked in the area, I might swing by for happy hour. However I definitely won't be back for the burger - it's just not that great in my books.

Menu looked really good! I was going to order Burger #1 but I was still a bit full from dinner.  So I ordered the Sonoran Hot Dog, bun used for the hot dog was toasted too dry (so I ended up just eating the hot dog wrapped in bacon)...my verdict on this: Just OK!

I will still come back but next time I will try their Burger #1.

    25 Degrees is basically LA's answer to Las Vegas's Holstein's (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).

Located in the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd, this place is sophisticated but still young and fun with luxurious booths, dark French-inspired purple red wallpaper and crystal chandeliers  - perfect place to end a crazy night after clubbing in Hollywood.

The gourmet burger here is  good - but not a contender for best in LA. But hey, where else are you going to find a gourmet burger joint open and happy to serve at 4am? I've tried the #1 and #3, but I definitely preferred #1. There's also a build-your-own burger option, which a friend of mine went for, and she said it was pretty good. They have a great cheese selection, but add-ons were expensive at a buck each. Oh, and the sweet potato fries are bombbb.

Haven't tried the alcoholic shakes yet, but someday I shall be back for them when I'm not-as-drunk.

It's not an easy task to tear boyfriend and I away from our beloved Umami Burger, but we decided to give it a go and try 25 Degrees.

Located literally right in the heart of the Hollywood & Highland scene, the area is full of tourists. Navigate through them using a bob and weave technique. It's worth it.

Walked right into a decently decorated cozy little room that was about 60% bar (no complaints here) and the rest gigantic red seats and chandeliers. It wasn't super crowded, so the guy behind the bar just told us to sit wherever. Semi-lo maintenance. I can dig it.

First off, we bypassed booze drinking to splurge on a Guinness Milkshake, which came pretty highly recommended. We said we were going to share it, and the server was nice enough to have it split into two glasses for us. One milkshake between the two of us was the perfect amount, so I fully recommend splitting. Holy crap, this thing was good. I'm not the biggest fan of Guinness and I thought it was heavenly. Easily the best part of the entire meal.

Then came the burgers. Huge, and so. much. bun. I enjoyed my #4 MUCH more when I decided to take the top bun off and eat it open faced with a fork.

Boyfriend had the #1, which was delicious, minus the bun-i-ness.

Onion rings were huge and sweet potato fries were yummy.

A little pricy, but not a disappointment at all. They seem to have legit happy hour prices, so I will most likely be back for that ish at some point.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I'd rather go to Umami, Fukuburger or even Island's to get my burger fix. But I love trying new burger joints.... and wellll, this one was a bit disappointing.

Their bread is just way too thick and doesn't add anything to the burger itself. It also seemed a bit stale. The meat was kind of salty. I had the #3 and the flavors of the chipotle, avocado and green chilis worked well together, but it was lacking something special. The onion rings were greasy and the breading didn't really stick to the onions. Sweet potato fries were just okay. For $12 a burger and extra $ for sides, I expected a lot more - even if someone else was paying!

Don't be fooled by the goats cheese "benedictine!". Its overpowering, hard, and nothing like traditional goats cheese. Be warned. The staff were run off their feet today and the resulting service sucked.
Hollywood blvd is terrible for food, wish there was a good lunch spot around, but this isn't it.

Did you know 25 degrees is the temperature difference between a medium-rare and well-done hamburger?

Now, being that you are about to eat at the restaurant I have proclaimed as the "BEST PLACE TO GET A BURGER IN LOS ANGELES"... you must know some things.

With the best hamburger, you get pretentious attitude. Don't let this prevent you from eating here. They're not pretentious about the food. They generally just probably think they're better than you. It's worth ignoring.

I'm not a huge meat eater or hamburger fan... but this was literally the best hamburger I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'm not even joking.

And the sweet potato fries? Holy shit. I never swear, so you should probably know I'm serious. Oh, and one order of fries will serve 2.

Parking is awful, but that's Hollywood. Take public transportation if you don't want to find street parking or pay an exorbitant amount to park in the garage.

It's not well explained, but you seat yourself. At least, I think. There were no signs, and no help, so that's what we did.

Finally... It's connected to the Roosevelt Hotel. You can access the restaurant from the street side, but you can also get in through the lobby of the hotel.

    Enjoy!

I'm in love.  Legit "diner style" food (albeit a little pricey) that is EXTREMELY crave-able!  Holy Guinness milkshake, Batman!

In the 9 years I have lived in LA and the 1 I spent with my bedroom window facing the Hotel Roosevelt, I had never been inside and didn't know this place existed, which is sad.  The Guinness milkshake was the primary motivating factor in going here, and from the sounds of the tables around us, we all shared the same dream.  With good reason.  If you like Guinness and you like milkshakes, you better get one soon or you'll wonder where it's been all your life.  Creamy and good, just as you'd imagine combining two of the most awesome things you've ever had- Guinness and ice cream- would be.

I saw a plethora of other amazing concoctions on the menu, but settled for a BYOB burger.  It's not cool that they were out of turkey patties, but the tuna burger was still good with avocado, jalapeno and spicy aioli.  My friend got a burger with bacon, some type of amazing melty cheese, avocado and jalapeno and it was insanely juicy and good.  The buns are so fresh and tasty, but a little large for the tuna burger I had, and I had to throw half of it away.  The sweet potato fries were plentiful and a good choice.

They have a solid cocktail list, and I was able to introduce my friend to the wonderful Dark and Stormy.  It was hard to choose one from a list of many creative concoctions.  The atmosphere is a little dark gothic/trendy/old Hollywood, and they have TV's behind the bar so you can check out the Laker game if you're sitting on one side of the table, windows to Hollywood blvd. on the other- so either way you're entertained.

Well played, 25 degrees.  I'll be back for you.

Yes, better than average burger...but I wasn't that impressed. It was mostly bun and the meat didn't have much flavor. About half way through, I just took off bun and ate it open face.

Still four stars because its open 24 hours, it has hh both 3-6 everyday and late night 11-1 mom-thurs, and its connected to Roosevelt Hotel, which is historic and has an outdoor pool (although pool wasn't my scene when I went out there Sunday during the day)...

HH consists of $2 french fries, $2 sweet potato fries, $2 onion rings (huge! although not as good as they look), $5 hot dogs, $4 beers (all beers...bottle and draft, $5 house wines and $6 wells...they need to update their online hh menu bc its wrong.

Umami is def better and Father's Office is better too.

The one Foodie thing that Los Angeles is known for is the gourmet burger. My favorite burger place is still 25 Degrees, where they've been grilling burgers for a few years now right smack in the middle of the touristy part of Hollywood. I love this place, because they have awesome, juicy gourmet burgers to wrap your hands around and sink your teeth into. Also, it's a cool, "Hollywood" place to go hang out and brag to your friends about.

The service was quite friendly when my friends and I arrived. It was our Server's 2nd day on the job. Oh she was a Doll! The drinks were ordered and so was our food; then it was a good 30 minutes of conversation to fill the gaps until our orders arrived. I glanced around and saw that nothing has changed since the last time I dined at 25 Degrees. Vintage Hollywood decor with leather booths, blood red velvet wallpaper, less than a handful of tourist, yet it was mostly eclectic Locals.

My friends and I split Burgers #1, #2, and #3. We also split orders of Sweet Potato Fries (my Fav) and Onion Rings. We had to get our veggies on, so we ordered the Kale Salad (not on the online menu). Last, but not least, we ordered a Sonoran Hot Dog to balance our family-style feast.

Boy, was it a feast! I loved that our Server had the cooks cut the burgers evenly, which made dining family style so easy. Guess what? The burgers are still out of this world good! The bun no longer falls apart in your hands as you eat this burger. Yippee!

I still love their sweet potato fries. I  would recommend not to get a split order of the fries/onion rings, because the portions are smaller. Instead, get the full orders.

The Kale Salad is awesome...it's a surprise what you can do with the "other" leafy vegetable. The rough texture is hard to get used to a first, but I tell ya, it's the vinaigrette that brightens this salad.

As for the Sonoran Hot Dog...what an amazing hot dog. It was the first time I ever had it. A bacon wrapped hot dog (it's not all beef, but a mix) loaded. What took this baby forever to come out of the kitchen and show itself to the world was the mere fact that the restaurant was waiting for the special made hot dog buns to arrive. Oh man, was it worth the wait. It is an lightly crunchy, airy bread instead of the doughy, boring hot dog bun that we're all accustomed to eating. Ah, 25 Degrees surprised me again with great food. The Sonoran Hot Dog is the epitome of what a gourmet dog is supposed to be...a large portion with good, fresh ingredients. Please Folks, whatever you do, don't miss out on this hot dog.

Last, but not least, I ended my appetite with a Double Chocolate Shake. Why the hell not? After all the good old American food that I had, I might as well save the best for last. Sooooo chocolately gooooood!

Fiancé and I were looking for a place to grab a quick bite while we were staying at the Magic Castle Hotel, and this popped up in search results.  We are both burger fans, and we read the reviews on Yelp about the Guinness milkshake, so we gave 25 degrees a shot.

First of all, the ambiance/decor is pretty cool. It's kind of trendy/goth... I guess they think of themselves as "half burger joint, half bordello" or something?  Anyway, it was cute enough.

We went during happy hour and got the $2 sweet potato fries, which were really great.  Not the best I've ever had in my life, but definitely among the top 5.  No sauce, which was sort of lame, but they were really good with a tiny dab of mustard (and I don't even normally like mustard).

Fiancé and I split the Guinness milkshake (oh my god!!!  SO FREAKING GOOD) and the #1 burger, which is honestly the best burger I have had in a really long time.  The cheese was not evenly distributed, but it tasted so good we didn't really care.  The mix of flavors was very well done.

I wish we had been hungrier so we could have tried more of the menu, but I will definitely be returning to 25 degrees in the near future (maybe tomorrow!).  Outstanding food, and being open 24 hours is a definite plus!

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the service was pretty slow.  It didn't seem super crowded, but I did only see two people actually working, and there were several people at the bar, and it was happy hour after all, so perhaps they were just understaffed at the moment.  Even so, we are very happy to have eaten here, and will do so again at the next opportunity.

    D-EE-LICIOUS!

My husband and I had just come from the Kimmel Show and someone had recommended this little place (located inside the Roosevelt Hotel) as being a great place to get a burger...they did not disappoint.

This is a slick spot. Cool environment and seemed very "Hollywood".
We got an order of onion rings (which deserves 5 stars alone) some sweet potato fries and a juicy burger with Prosciutto, caramelized onions and some cheese that I cant pronounce...but was none the less tasty. The burger it self reminded me of umami but only bigger. Was not a big fan of the fried prosciutto but overall 4 thumbs up!

My husband also got a "smoky porter" beer that he really enjoyed as well.

I came here at like 4am with my bf and a friend because the only open Thai restaurant nearby closed their kitchen at 3:30. My friend tried to order their Guiness milkshake, but no-go, since it was past 2am. When do they start re-serving alcohol anyway?

My friend and I ordered the #1 plus a fried egg, and my bf created his own -one eerily similar to the #1 we had ordered. We split a side of onion rings and sweet potato fries. Wow, I must say that the sides and the dipping sauces make this place. They were amazingly good. The burger was good too, but I think there was a little too much dry bun for my liking and they cooked my burger well done when I asked for medium. I prefer the burgers at Umami, but the sides here definitely shine!

Serving sizes are pretty big, I recommend sharing a side and not trying to get your own. None of us could finish our burgers and we were starving and them some when we came in.

The decor of this place is extremely tacky and it feels a little shady strolling in at 4am in the semi-sketchy, overly-touristy part of Hollywood, but it was totally worth it.

I really didn't like the bun. There was way too much bread for the amount of meat on it.  I know Umami also uses a lot of bread but at least their bun tastes good.

Let me just recommend something: if there are 2 of you, get 1 burger and 1 side. Any more than that and you will be stuffed beyond belief. But since we didn't know better and got 2 burgers, I can tell you that my #1 was far better than his #3. The side of fries was huge and the fries were actually pretty good.

But honestly, this is not one of the best burgers in LA.  Umami is better; The Golden State is better, Father's Office is better.  For the price of these burgers and the hassle you have to go through to find parking (couldn't afford to pay at the hotel for parking since I already blew my budget on the food), it's just not worth it.

This review is for two drinks and sweet potato fries only:

Service was very friendly and speedy despite the fact that they were very busy.

Happy hour prices are awesome.  The place was very busy on a Saturday early evening, but we found two seats at the bar with just enough time to order and get happy hour prices.  Hubby & I each ordered a beer and we shared an order of sweet potato fries.   The fries were very delicious.  They were seasoned with lots of salt and pepper and one order for $2 was enough to fill us up until we ate dinner 2 hours later.

I will definitely try this place out for lunch/dinner next time I'm in Huntington Beach, Chicago, or LA. Yum!

25 Degrees holds its own among Los Angeles' gourmet burgers. Learned the name represents the temperature difference between a rare and a well done burger. I always order my burgers medium despite loving my steaks rare/bleu. Rare and medium rare burgers are too mushy for my taste.

Oh so yummy!  I had previously visited the Huntington Beach location and enjoyed it.   This time I went with a bigger party, to partake in more food, the fries at least.  Remembering how good the #1 Burger was at Huntington Beach, I ordered it again.  The sweet potato fries came out first.  Maybe I was particularly hungry, but am I crazy to say, I think these were the best sweet potato fries I have ever had?!  They were off the hook delicious!

My #1 burger was ordered medium.  I love the fillings in this burger, although I didn't memorize exactly.  I know there are at least grilled onions, bacon, thousand island and gorgonzola.  I love the gorgonzola on this burger!  They are quite generous with it.  It's like a warm pillow of fluffy, creamy gorgonzola, not the hard crumbled stuff that just falls out when you take a bite.  The cheese just elevates the burger to a whole new level for me!  Everything in there together made each bite delicious!!  I shared it with a friend and it was enough in addition to the fries.

Some cons:  oh my this place is dark.  We were using our cell phones to light the menu!  At 3am I was too lazy to try to read the menu in the dark...so I really don't know what else was on it!  I couldn't really tell either if I had received the medium burger, or the well done!  The regular fries and onion rings appeared after we had finished our burgers.  That was odd.  I was too full to partake, although I did have a few fries.  They looked good, but were soggy and just meh compared to the sweet potato fries.  However, I may have felt differently had they arrived at the same time!  Service was just okay.

Big plus for being open at 3am! Love the booths, love the ambience, except it's a bit too dark...so LA!

$12 is a little steep for a burger, but I guess that seems to be the norm these days.   I would pay it again.

This is a review of (lack of) service, not of food (since we didn't have any). Went in at 6 on a Sunday night, not horribly crowded, but noticed right away that tables were spaced significantly further apart than is normal for that level/type of restaurant. After waiting 5 to 10 minutes in NO WAITING AREA, just trying to get out of servers way, we were seated. It's very loud, the music isn't great, so it was difficult to carry on a conversation. There's not enough choices on the menu to need all that much time to decide what you're having. After 20 minutes of NO INTERACTION WITH or CONTACT by Servers, we left & went around the corner to BJs. Which said we'd wait 20 minutes for a table: We sat in bar area long enough to get a beverage - rapidly - and have had a few sips. The music was low enough to converse, the menu is extensive enough we needed to ask for more time. . .

25 Degrees may have the best burgers in the area, but I could probably have driven to Umami in LA before 25 Degrees staff would've even brought water.

    Ummm yummmers!

I had the number one burger - caramelized onion, gorganzola, bacon, arugula and thousand island with a side of fries topped with thyme and garlic. So delicious! The burger had a nice warm and fluffy bun and was a great size.

The drinks here are pretty tasty. I've tasted the salted caramel shake, the chocolate Guinness shake and the watermelon smash. All deelish!

this place makes a good burger. I usually go for the a bacon cheddar and aioli cooked rare. I think thats the key to this place. They have quality meat so you can go rare without any worry (i've ate rare here for years w/o any problems). You can customize your burger with all kinds of different quality ingredients. Fries are good, same for the sweet potato fries, and the onion rings. They also have a good beer and make a pretty good guiness milkshake, i like to add a shot of jameson.

I put 25 degrees over umani for a couple reasons 1. you can customize your burger 2. its a bar. 3. the burgers are bigger. 4. the douche factor is much lower.

Friggin' amazing, is about all I can say about this place.  Despite the red leather, retro booths, the burgers here are rivalled by none in LA that I've tried.

Order the #1 with 1/2 french fries & 1/2 sweet potato fries. Unless you're on tour with the wrestling Smackdown tours, split the fries between you. Huge portion.

The burger is transcendence upon first bite.  The flavors unfold as you continue chewing, and you can't even believe a burger can taste this good.  Almost all other burgers pale in comparison to the flavor of this masterpiece. The cook prepared it exactly as I ordered it, and from the time it took to get to the table, I could tell that it wasn't being sandbagged on the grill, waiting for the next customer to come in.

I had read the reviews about Umami Burger, and when i went there was expecting some kind of out-of-body experience, but was kinda underwhelmed. This place blows Umami out.

You should definitely treat yourself to these burgers. They're something to write home about.

SOO GOOD! I think between my family of 7, we ordered the entire meal! haha

Burgers are good... get it med. Well done is... well... DRY! =P

Almost everyone in my group ordered a different burger and I got a bite from most of them, and none of them were bad... even the well done burger! That says something about their meat or sauces.

Also ordered their shake with baileys... SO GOOD! Was craving baileys the entire weekend... could have been cause it was St. Patty's day as well =P

Aghhhh absolutely devastated. I was so looking forward to this place and had heard such good things. My #3 burger was so boring! I asked for medium rare, it was way overcooked and has literally no flavor. My friend and I split it and we couldn't even taste the green chilis, let alone the avocado or chipotle. It was so weird, was it just a fluke? Other people liked their burgers, I wish I had tried a bite of theirs.

Other than the burgers though, I did have a great time here. Our party of 8 on a Friday night was seated in about 30 minutes. The appetizers of fries and onion rings were addicting. We tried 6 different dips and my favorite was definitely the lemon dill. For our friends birthday, the servers brought out TWO rounds of dessert on the house. First a bowl of ice cream with a candle, then about 15 minutes later, 3 giant cake pops of varying flavors. We sang twice and we are pretty sure it was a mistake, but whatever!

    Great burgers, classic Hollywood ambiance.

If you're in Hollywood and you want a good meal with a slice of old, classic Hollywood style, then this place is not to be missed. The long, old-school bar, dark red interior, and leather booths provide a sense of what Hollywood was like many decades ago.

The burgers, however, are as modern and delicious as possible. They have a few pre-made varieties to choose from, but I would reccomend selecting toppings form their a la cart menu and building your own hamburger masterpiece.

Also, their onion rings and sweet potato fries are awesome.

Voulez Vous what a burger (the number one)...  this is not for the faint of heart the taste is robust, different cheeses make for more than a meal, it is a baconburgercoma.

Make sure to ask for Garlic Aioli**  perfect for the fries, covered in thyme and with garlic make for quite a ride.

The service is always responsive and nice, but the late night music had me ordering to go...  Everything else is decadent and delectable.  Plus you can get 25 degrees 24 hours a day, and the food here beats the pants off the 101 coffee shop  (at Franklin in Hollywood)

Guinness Milkshake and Bananas Foster spiked milkshakes were great.  Add a #1 Burger and a Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup and you have two happy campers.

Another one of those trendy  "Grommet-Burger" spots in your typical loud Hollywood atmosphere. I wasn't impressed with the burgers on the menu at all - too many things on one burger that didn't really compliment each other. Just because you you're using the best of the best ingredients does not necessarily mean that you should put them all together. The brioche bun could hardly be considered brioche. You're better off building your own,  as long as you keep it simple. Also the onion-rings came out soggy and cold.
25 Degrees I  think is best at being a late night spot.... your last stop on the way home after a night of boozing it up. Had that been the case for me I'm sure I would have thought the food and atmosphere to be amazing.

too many bad experiences! my burger was undercooked, bloody, and soggy (medium rare) one time and overcooked and terribly dry (medium) the next. the bottom portion of their buns are so massive that it accounts for 40% of the entire burger. both times my fries (both sweet and regular) were soggy with only a slight potential of being delicious. my malt was great but not great enough to forget the the rest. 1 turkey burger + 1 regular burger (no additional toppings) + 2 fries and a malt = $40 blah 1 star for a "5 star" establishment

What can I say???  I love this place!  It's tucked away in the street level of the Roosevelt Hotel, ground zero in Hollywood!!!  You'd expect all the non-chain establishments to be charging a premium for their eats, especially given the location of 25 Degrees! However, this place has the most amazing burgers and onion rings, PLUS the happy hour makes this place cheaper than eating at any of the neighboring Mc Taco Kings!!!

So, whether you're doing the touristy thing on Hollywood Blvd, or if you just need a place to grab a bite during your lunch break, this is the place!!!

...if I had 3 thumbs, they'd all be up!!!

I came to 25 Degrees for one purpose only to find the best burger in LA. I was told about this establishment by a very good friend of mine who told me that this was the very best burger in Los Angeles i was very skeptical about this statement because i have had burgers from the likes of Fathers Office, Lazy Ox, and Stout but never the less i went into 25 Degrees with an open mind and an empty stomach.

I ordered the #1 a 100% sirloin patty with gorgonzola, crescenza, bacon, arugula and thousand island, along side an order of onion rings. Just reading it on the menu really got me excited to eat this burger. My onion rings came out first and they were very good, nice and hot, crunchy and overall very good. Next out was my burger and that's where it all went down hill. The burger was very dry i actually expected this because all they use is sirloin a very lean cut of beef and though it may make a great steak if not cooked properly it can and will fail as a burger. The bacon actually was not that terrible but just after a few bites there was no more bacon to be found. The cheese was not melted on top of the burger with the exception of the edges, the caramelized onion flavor was over powered by the taste of thousand island and the thing that disappointed me the most was the arugula was wilted and soggy. As someone who loves the peppery flavor of arugula that is probably the worst possible scenario. This is not the worst burger you will ever have, and to the average person it may even seen good in a fast food dominated culture, but to those who look for quality and execution when spending their hard earned money on a great dining experience this place will only disappoint you. I can safely say i will not be coming back here on my own dime.

Best $12 burger ever!  Stopped here to check out the hotel and decided to stay for lunch. My burger was hugh, with gorgonzola and arugala. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger. We shared the onion rings, which had a bit of spice to them. To wash it all down, I had a French Kiss and my friend had a margarita. Drinks were expensive!! but, the place was really cool. Id go again...

25 Degrees, you had me at "open 24 hours".

Both times I've been here have been at around 3 AM and for food wise at 3 AM, this place takes the cake, but forget the cake and just get the burger.

The boorger, oh man. Fully customizable, oozing with meat juices, cooked perfectly to your preference, savory, and sexy! It arrives half wrapped and when you start to unwrap that burger, it's like you're undressing your lover and getting ready to make love. And in this case, the burger made love with my taste buds. Along with my sirloin patty, i added an egg, avocado, roasted red pepper, and of course BACON! The burger didn't even fit in my mouth and so I ended up using a knife and fork, don't judge me! A plethora of heavenly flavors all wrapped up in one beautiful monstrosity,

That was just the burger. I've also had the Sonoran Hot Dog here and it's a classy version of the L.A. Dirty Dog. I just love the added kick that the green chili peppers give to the dog. The 3 cheese grilled cheese & tomato soup combo is also amazing. The onion rings, sweet potato fries, milkshakes, and pretty much everything else on the menu is on par with the standard of their burgers.

25 degrees gets 5 stars whether they were open 24 hours or just for an hour a day but luckily for us, it's the former. Next time it's 3 AM and you've got the munchies, treat yourself to 25 Degrees, your stomach will thank you, but your waistline will probably hate you.
