This 24 is definitely brighter than most locations.  I'm always wary of any "new" 24 that I venture too because I'll wonder if it'll look or smell like a dungeon.  But this location is clean, bright, and albeit cheerful.

    I'm a fan for sure.

Compared to the gyms off El Camino and the 76, this place is like a Super Sport.

Machines are clean and well-spaced.  The free weights are located upstairs and all machines are spaced well there as well.  My only gripe is the water fountains.  They lack pressure and they don't get very cold.

    That's a small gripe...

This review is for the pool only.

What I hate about this place, and all other 24 hour fitness gyms that I've been to, is that the pool is set up is horrible. The jacuzzi/hot tub + sauna are right there, and old fat hairy men LOVE to hang out there everyday from morning until late at night. Every single time I am there I become a creepy old fat man magnet. They love to stare and find any reason to talk to me or other women in the pool area.

A few visits ago they kept staring at me as I was swimming, I noticed it when I took a short break at the end of the pool nearest the sauna. Not long after one of them got in the pool just to tell me that he thinks I'm a good swimmer. Yea, thanks, I'm here to swim....so f*** off please.

Today was the last straw. I thought I would be able to avoid them by going early on a Sunday....another girl was actually swimming in one of the lanes, and the other was empty so I got in and started doing warm up laps. I stopped and was adjusting my goggles on the far end of the pool, only to turn around and notice an old fat hairy creepy man had entered my lane and was floating there with his head underwater, facing me. First I thought he was just immersing himself to get used to the temperature of the water, but he kept coming back up to breathe and would go back down. Didn't swim, didn't walk, didn't do any exercise...was just floating underwater looking in my direction. I switched to the other lane and kept swimming and 5 minutes later he was gone. As soon as I got back in the other lane he came back. He'd been hiding in the hot tub!

I notified a guy at the front desk, and then left. I don't think I'll be back for a long long time. I have no desire to step foot inside a 24 hr fitness again.

2 stars only because the people who work here are nice, and their selection of equipment is good and they have a nice big stretching area. But because I prefer to swim, I don't really care much about that other stuff.

Pros: It's a newer gym so the equipment is brand new and it's not overly crowded. The staff is very friendly and all the parents seem to like the kid center.

Cons: Parking sucks during the evening time. Sauna and steam room are tiny. No basketball court.

Overall the gym had more positives than negatives.

I have been going to the San Marcos location for years, and this location is more modern, with updated equipment, but it is always crowded and the parking is horrible. For a gym this size, you'd think they would have more parking. And dont park @ the Walgreens parking lot or your car will be towed.
Also can't use the pool or jacuzzi, because as one other review stated: it is a creepy old fat man magnet. They wont leave you alone. Its gross. Will stay at the San Marcos or Carlsbad locations to work out.

Gym is one of the newest in the north San Diego. Clean and spacious. Awesome group X classes instructors! Parking can be nightmare and it can get crowded  before a Zumba class because you have to get a number in the front to get in the class.

I love that they have plenty classes at this location. It also looks a lot nicer than the older 24 Hours. But the parking is absolutely terrible, and the staff is horrible. I'm considering switching to Chuze so I can still take the same classes/teachers and not have to deal with the crap staff.

Great club but doesn't care about people jumping into the pool or whirlpool without taking a shower. Every time I go there there's somebody jumping in directly from the sauna, steam room and/or workout directly without showering.

I've mentioned it to the club and district supervisor and there's still only a single water damaged 8.5x11 piece of paper on an odd wall stating to shower before entering pools. I've gone to the front desk to report someone who did this and 4 girls at the desk said they were busy while they were standing around talking amongst themselves with no club members around.

This is a repeated problem that is simply disgusting.  I understand the issue is primarily the population around the club but at least the management could take an active approach and put up more signs in various languages and respond when someone goes to the front desk with a problem.  The Health Department needs to get involved.

To me, an odd club manager is the blame.

    I'MA GYM NUB!

But I will update this post in the future once I check out the other 24-Hour Fitnesses and become more acquainted with frequenting the gym.  What I can share is how I got my membership with them and how painless it was.  I just signed up with them today after I saw LA Fitness advertising near the Krikorean theater on Main St. for tiered plans.  The LAF solicitor said that usually they have a $199 initiation fee, but today they had three teirs:

    Tier 1: $0 initiation fee w/ some relatively high monthly (for access to only one location... I think the monthly payment was $37-$40);
    Tier 2: $25 initiation fee w/ I think $35/month (again, one gym), and;
Tier 3: $50 initiation with the same monthly as the $25 init., but you'd get access to all LA Fitness gyms.

I tell you this because 24 Hour's specials totally beat out LA Fitness.  For a price comparison, I called this location, and told them I was interested in joining a gym, but wanted to compare monthlies and amenities.  The receptionist quickly patched me over to Bree, the manager on duty... Bree asked what LA Fitness had to offer, and explained, "For $0 initiation and $32/month, you get access to all the gyms.  For $30 initiation and $27/month, you still get access to all the gyms."

Choice was easy.  I picked the $30 + $27/month deal.  They recently created this plan within the past couple of days, so it's good as of this review date.  When I went to this location, sign up was a breeze.  They charge for the initiation, first month, and last month, which totalled to ~$86.  You can cancel anytime, and they refund you the prorated amount of the last month.  I was given the option to pay all now or to split up the payments... don't ask me about the split, because I got all of the dues out of the way on the same day (I see it as investment in my health).

Bree was concise and helpful -- it was almost too easy to be true.  But after I got my index fingers scanned (by the way, 24 Hour Fitness doesn't carry cards/IDs -- you check in using your finger and a ten digit passcode... usually your phone number), she gave me a quick tour and asked me what I was looking to work on. "Fat burn.  Lots and lots of fat burn.  Show me the cardio equipment."

What was awesome is Bree interjected, "Cardio is great, but a better way to burn fat is to add a bit of resistance training... ever heard of a circuit?"  She went on to explain that with lighter weights and more repetitions per set, in addition to cardio, would help me reach my goal a bit faster... she suggested to start off on the first floor and work the circuit there using the Hoist units until I got more familiar with the other equipment upstairs (yes, they have a second floor just for resistance training... it sits above the men's/women's locker rooms, the sauna, pool, jacuzzi and their storefront).

I came back later around 10PM to do 30mins on the elliptical and try the 3/15 circuit.  A good hour later, I was a sweaty, happy camper!

Truly, had I signed up with LA Fitness, I think I would have regretted it, budget and time wise.  Because they're open 24/7, I really have no excuse to not go to a gym just because 'they're going to close in 30 minutes, and it's going to take me 15 to get there, so what's the point?'  I also realize too that working out at the gym is WAAY more motivating than working out at home.  When you see the other people that walk in and realize, "Hey, it's not all body builders and 'beautiful people', but actual others just trying to drop the In-N-Out pounds," I really am less likely to cheat/take shortcuts since others are struggling just as much, if not more.  Because of the rows of plasmas hovering overhead, it's possible to watch the news or the game in a healthy manner (you can still support your TV couch potato habits, but with less couch potato).

Let's see how long I can keep this up.  By the way, if you are considering signing up, read this review, and actually do end up wanting to get a membership, hook me up online by PMing me so I can fill this out (http://www.24hourfitne...): I want to get a free 50-minute Personal Training session or a $20 coupon for MyStore :P

I do enjoy this 24 hour. I like how the cardio equipment is set up and the weights are upstairs for the most part. So...my only thought on the matter is the Woman's bathroom. They may as well stash a block of Tillamook (sp?) In a corner and only then will you feel that this scene is complete. It really does feel like a maze in there. Don't know about you but when i go into the locker room I do my best to get in and out and avoid eye contact at all cost. So memorize the floor plan and you should be good.

For me, this is as good as it gets! I workout 4-6 days/week, so having a great gym is very important to me since I spend a good portion of my week there. I'm new to the San Diego area so I was shopping around for a gym. The day I moved here (07/31/2011), I checked out 24 hours just to get a feel for the place so I could compare it to other gyms in the area before I committed to a membership. Well, after I saw the army of top-notch cardio machines, I was totally hooked. Then I saw the state of the art weight room and I was very impressed. I ended up joining that day. :-)

The entire gym is well laid out. The equipment is new and well maintained. The monthly membership fee is ridiculously low! So far, I've come to work out between 1-4:30PM and I didn't have a problem with parking, but I could see why people say it gets rough around 5-6:30PM. The staff is young, but friendly enough. I haven't been going there long enough to form a real opinion other than they are pleasant. One thing I really want to point out is the variety of people that come to work out at 24 hours in Vista... seniors, college kids, moms, super athletic people, people //getting// fit, women, men, groups, solos, weightlifters, cardio queens, etc. The vibe there is invigorating. It's the highlight of my day, but I love to workout. :-)

I highly recommend this gym to anyone!

    Things I like:
-- The facility is clean and well ventilated
    -- The staff is friendly
-- There is a large variety of equipment, and it is well kept
-- The members clean up after themselves

    Things I don't like:
-- For such a huge gym, they don't have very many water fountains (been there twice now, and only know of two; one on each floor)
-- The water fountains are never cold
-- The pressure in the water fountain upstairs is really low, so it's hard to sip from

Noticing a trend here? Hint: Bring a big watter bottle. As others have mentioned, parking isn't great. I go between 7 and 8PM, and I'm always surprised how full the lot is even that late. But at that hour it's never so full that I can't find anything. It's probably hell during peak hours.

    Has its pros and cons.

The pros- plenty of equipment, friendly staff, low key crowd

The Cons- No basketball court, and small parking lot. Its hard to find a place to park when its busy.

Overall one of the better 24's in SD

I've been to my fair share of 24 Hours since I joined three years ago...and I'll tell you why I like this one.

It's new. So the equipment is new, the ceilings are high, the TVs have great picture and the cardio equipment links to their sound, and its spacious.

Yes, space. The functional fitness area of this gym is huge, so you don't feel like you're out of place if you're not working with a trainer. Plus, it's never so crowded that you can't find floor space, or find equipment you need to use. And that, is the best thing about a gym!

One bad side, the front desk staff is fairly young, and come off not entirely friendly. They say hello because it's their job to when you walk in the door, and it feels like they're really annoyed at having to stop their personal conversations and turn 25 degrees towards you.

Among the newer 24hrs gyms in the area, this sport location is considerably larger than its counterparts in this region. However, I just wish it wasn't I didn't feel like I was working out in an enclosed concrete building.

Newer than the Carlsbad location, I was disappointed that this place lacked the huge windows that allowed you to peer out. I must say, the second floor seems a bit cramped and small.

The best part, I feel okay to look like a schlub just to work out. lol. The perk is also that the location is near the freeway for easy access. Anyways, this location is a good one...

OK, this was a tough one to rate and by the time I'm done here, I may change it to 4-stars.  It's 5-stars right now.  The gym is great, the equipment is well maintained, it's clean and spacious.  So, all that is a perk.

Go upstairs to the weights.... Here it gets unusual.  First, there is no clock, so you can lose track of time, so if you are on a schedule and don't want to wear a watch to the gym, you'll be hard pressed to find a clock, unless you go downstairs.  So, that's strange.  Second is the classroom area.  There are some leg machines right near here and some people, in waiting for the class to start, will do sets and reps on those.  So, if you ARE there to workout and not take a class, sometimes you will get froze out, because people will be doing reps.  Third and last is the people.  I've been to a few gyms in my day and I've always dealt with people at the gym, there's always going to be the other members and some have no etiquette when it comes to the gym, but this place seems to have a plethora of them.  If you go durning the busy hours, forget about doing calves, arm curls, bench, or squats.  Seriously, people will just CAMP on these machines and areas and they won't get away from the machine to let you work in or thru.
Then, the converse of this can happen, and some people (generally older woman) "circuit train" and they use all the machines (half heartedly) for one set and then move on, generally throwing off the stride of people who are there to focus train.  It's a weird mix of clientele.  About 70% of the members are courteous and there to work, it's the 30% that.... you'd need to see it to know what I mean, but 30% is a HUGE amount of people for the number of members that they have.  Also, the pool/sauna area is usually filled with old men who just kinda hang out and don't do anything but soak and steam and soak and wade in the swimming lanes.

To move on from the client base, the trainers seem to know what they are doing and are good with the members coming in to see them.

The desk staff is friendly and smiling, willing to help and listen and act promptly if something is malfunctioning.

I'll leave it at 5-stars, because the gym and it's staff is great, but sometimes the members can get to be too much.

    Whatever 24 Hour Fitness!!

So when I got the letter about increasing my monthly dues to "Improve your local 24 Hour Fitness location" you actually meant you were going to build a hella nice 24 hour location waaaay far away from me? That's cold.

I was in the area and had some time to kill so decided to work out.  Upon walking in, I was confused on where to go because this place is so damn big, I was so jealous the entire time I was here, and there is a pool, WTF?  A steam room, a jacuzzi!!

I worked out on some tread climber machine, and after figuring out how to use the machine, it was pretty cool.  The bikes are cool because they have TVs on each one, I don't have a TV at home, so I was really excited about that.

I'm still bitter that I really won't be working out here.  I don't know how I will be able to go back to my local 24 Hour and not judge every piece of machinery and how it doesn't measure up to the Vista location.

    Oh well.

This is my favorite 24 hour fitness in Southern California! I would give it 5 stars, but the pool only has 2 lanes. This is one of those moments where I yearn for the half star. I'd like to make this review 4.5 stars for the record.

This is a newer gym that is spacious, clean, and has group x classes all the time. I think that of all San Diego clubs, this one offers the most group x classes. Just look at the schedule for Tuesdays for example, there is a class practically EVERY HOUR!

My favorite class is the spin class on Wednesday mornings taught by Elizabeth. She is the best! She doesn't add any fluff or crap to the class, it's just work work work to achieve goals and amazing results. She is the fittest of the fit when it comes to instructors. If you want a great workout, go to her class. If you've never done spin, don't worry, I am still surprised I come back again and again. You sweat so much that usually by the end of the class, you have a pond of sweat beneath your bike, but it feels oh so good to know you worked your butt off!

Body Pump- great class. I like Joanna. She knows what she is doing and is an awesome trainer! I wish I had perfect form like her!

Tons of machines, weights, you name it. They even have the fancy cycling bikes where you get your own tv screen on your bike. I haven't seen that at any other 24. I love you Vista 24 hour fitness!

Locker/Shower: clean, doesn't stink and the shower is so big you can hang out stuff inside it without it getting wet! Love it!

The gym is always very clean and it has the cool spin machines too with a big screen just for yourself in case you don't make it to class in time.

I go to this gym several times a week.  The gym is kept quite clean, even during the rush periods.  I have not had to wait for a machine yet, no matter the time I go, however, I think it is likely that I'll end up waiting at some point because it does get crowded.

The staff are incredibly friendly and the sales person who walked us around the first time still remembers our names.  He often checks in to ensure that we are happy with our membership.

The ladies locker room is also kept clean and is large enough for you to feel comfortable.

My only complaint is that some of the machines are not that well maintained.  I think the treadmills and spinning bikes get a lot of use and the gym has a hard time keeping up with maintenance.  I do see maintenance workers when I'm there, but this gym has a lot of machines and I can see how they get behind.

Overall, I'm happy with my membership!

This is the gym I go to regularly, usually between 10pm-midnight, up to four days a week. It is not packed during this time. I can also find parking just fine during this time. I usually find Toni or Jesse working in the reception area around this time. They are both friendly and nice to talk to. The gym is very clean. Equipment is well maintained. If an equipment is broken, it is usually fixed within a week. The only place I do not like in the entire gym is the steam room. The droplets would fall from the ceiling and drop on me. The steam room ceiling should have been angled instead of flat. There is no basketball court here.

I always drove by this place to and from work before it opened.  I couldn't wait for their doors to open.  Once they did, I think I was one of the first people to step foot in here.  :)

This place is MASSIVE!!!  And this is my favorite 24 Hour Fitness location I've ever been to in California, and I've been to several in North County.  They have EVERYTHING here - tons of cardio equipment, a whole upper floor dedicated to free weights and machines, sauna and steam room, lap pool, whirlpool.  The locker rooms were a bit 'enh' though.  I encountered a few toilet presents upon walking into a stall.  Eek!!

As for the group-ex, I guess it depends on the day/time because I never had a problem getting into a class.  But then again, I always came 30 minutes prior to a class starting just so I would be certain I would get a spot.  I also loved that this gym had those individual spin bikes on the floor, y'know, in case you were SOL on the group exercises.  I don't think that I EVER waited for a cardio machine here.  Ever!

Parking is also terrible here.  I remember parking in the CVS lot once.  I know that we're not allowed to do that anymore though.  You will be towed!!

The staff here is great.  Very friendly and helpful, which is uncommon for 24 Hour Fitness.  If you're driving down 78 and the mood to work out strikes, definitely come here.  You will be here for a few hours, trust me.  You just get into your zone here.

This is a pretty standard 24 by any means. The one on Palomar Airport Rd is much nicer... but it IS on top of their corporate offices.

The downstairs is all cardio and the upstairs is all weights and machines. The upstairs has a REALLY funky smell. They definitely need to add more ventilation up there. Its always a really gross odor...

The spin bikes downstairs are nice, but since they break easily, some of them are usually out of commission. The audio jacks dont always work and it always takes a few days for things to get fixed.

I've had my car hit in the parking lot and one day when I was there, 2 cars got broken into when they were in the front row... in broad daylight. Not a safe area.

Good Gym and as other have indicated, it does a good job not having the same crowds as the corporate location, immediately east of the Palomar Airport Road exit.

The staff here are friendly and the running machines are usually uncrowded.  In addition they have three cable machines so you can do more core exercises without having to wait, as is the case with all the training sessions at the Corporate facility.  If you can drive the little extra, you're going to save time, especially if you workout during lunch time.

Since this is a newer 24 hour fitness facility, I decided to try it out for a week as it is closer to my home than my current gym, LA fitness. The front office staff friendly, but when checking out the gym... I found it quite dirty as compared to LA fitness..finger prints on the mirriors, sweat on the floors, coffee drop stains on tiles, clumps of hair on gym floor..etc, etc.  I think I'll just drive the extra 2 miles to go to a cleaner gym which doesn't require reservationsand a $1 charge  for their classes and a security gurad in their parking lot!.

This is my favorite 24 Hour Fitness location in San Diego.  It is fairly new (just about 2 years old now) and has a lot of cardio equipement.  I really appreciate the fact that they chose not to put the basketball court in, and converted that room to a cardio room.  This club has the most treadmills and elipticals I've seen at a 24 hour fitness.

If you go during rush hours then parking can be difficult.  The parking lot is way too small for this gym, but they do have a security officer in the parking lot that helps with the traffic/parking.

Overall great gym.  My favorite of the 24 hr fitness.

DO NOT BUY PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS HERE!!!

Yes I admit this location is nice...but the manager Jesse is a slimeball! I bought personal training sessions and was not happy... HE promised me my money back but always had an excuse like "waiting for corporate to ok the refund" or "I am moving this week but I will call you next week with an update".  Even went as far as to ask how I would like my refund back... on the credit card I used or check? Then he stopped responding to my phone calls. It has been six months and is still not resolved since the district manager is almost just as bad! Now 24 hour is refusing to issue a refund after it was promised because Jesse claims he never said he would issue a refund... go figure... another dishonest sales person. This location does not have an ethical manager nor district manager.  It is a nice location to work out but I would not buy anything here again and urge you to give your money to a personal trainer who actually GETS most of the money- personal trainers at 24 hr fitness only get $24 when they are training-  you give the club $65...hmmm....they make a nice profit off their employees!!

Quite biased about this 24 Hour location due to the close proximity to my place.  It's essentially a gym, there are machines that will make you sweat and with the help of gravity - weights that will strengthen your muscles.

Besides the basics, this gym has a lap pool, sauna/steam room, a daycare/play area for young ones and a ton of stationary bikes for spin classes.  They offer classes specializing in: strength, aerobics, step, kick boxing, water exercises and classes for seniors as well.

This location relieves the overcrowding from the Carlsbad Palomar Airport Road location.

This is a great gym. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and smiling. I've never had to wait for a gym only because I go right before it gets so busy which is typically after 4:30. I've never used the pool so I can't comment on it. The locker room/restroom is clean. The equipment is relatively new. The kids club hours are great.

I live in oceanside but I work in vista. I go to this one over the 2 that Im closest too cause its bigger and itsnt as run down as some of the other locations. The locker rooms are always clean and they are alway very quick to fix a machine that has gone down.
The only one big problem is the parking! TERRIBLE! I cant imagine how this place can get a 5 star with the parking being so terrible!. I dont get how they built such a large gym and have such a tiny parking lot. When you go during the week unless you get there really early or really late its really hard to get a spot! Mostly I'll circle once and if I dont find anything I park at the bottom of the hill by Verizon and Panda Express. Ive not used any pesonal trainers so I cant really say how well they are but Ive taken a few classes and I enjoy the classes and the instructors. I do yoga Mondays nights and zumba on wed/thrus.
Its always busiest during the first few months of the year cause of resolutions but usually around may it lightens up. (you can figure why)
They have a very spacious area to do streching, and they have both a steam room and sauna, although I think this sauna has to be a bit smaller then the other 2 that ive been to but its okay, everyone still crams in. haha

I like this gym mostly for the classes. All of the instructors are really good. I love the Zumba classes. The most annoying thing is the parking lot... way too small and never any spots.

Clean, but usually busy. They really need to get a larger parking lot; it's usually a pain in the butt to find a parking spot. Unless you go around 2pm, I found out.

It's a nice gym, but the decision to not put a basketball court in a "sport" gym really baffles me. I watched in anticipation as the gym was being built right next to where I live in Vista. I was ready to drop my LA Fitness membership and move to the 24 Hour Fitness right away. However, I changed my mind when I heard that this location did not have a basketball court. It's a great gym for lifting weights and swimming, but I just don't understand their decision to not install a basketball court.

This location is huge and has tons of equipment.  Yes, it's a constant meat market (guys and gals).  You'll see girls strutting around barely sweating and you'll see guys practically drooling over the girls.  I'm not there to meet anyone, so I don't care.  I'm there to get my workout done and go home.
Parking can be a mess here.  They actually had someone outside directing traffic a few nights ago.
Some of the classes are hard to get into (passes and wait list), but I've never NOT gotten into a class.  My biggest gripe is I attended a kickboxing class and he started class 15 minutes late and then 25 minutes into it, changed the class into a 'boot-camp' workout class.
Like all 24 HF, they will try to sell you the moon, stars, and sun.  They do lay off if you tell them you aren't interested though.
I live closer to the one on San Marcos Blvd, but the group X schedule is much better here and the facilities are nicer.
PS- Go to Costco and buy your membership there.  Save a ton of money.

I love 24 hour fitness and this club is beautiful there is just one problem, PARKING here really is a pain in the  you know what!  I actually left one day and drove all the way over to the old San Marcos club.  Too bad they didn't think of parking when they built this one.

There are 2 other 24s closer to my house but my husband and I don't care, we go to this one.  Some of the things I love:
    - It's new, it's big, it's got that New Gym Smell (way better than Old Gym Smell like the one in on El Camino in Carlsbad.
    - It has a 2 lane pool AND a steam room AND a sauna.  It has a hot tub too but I don't go near hot tubs that have greasy bubbles when the jets aren't on.
    - The TVs in the cardio room are evenly spaced and actually tuned to the station they are supposed to be, so you can watch any of the 14 programs on.
    - There are lots of towel and hand sanitizer stations and a bottle filler at the water fountain.
    - There is a dedicated core fitness/stretching area.
    - The locker room is big and has a mirrored area for doing hair & makeup.
    - The kids club is huge.  I don't have kids, but if I did, I'd probably bring them here.

There are a couple negative things that, all together, only take off 1 star for me, but might be a big deal to someone else.

    - Filled with meatheads pretty much all day.
    - Packed between 4 and 6 pm.  See all those cardio machines on the 24 website?  Every one of those is in use from 4 to 6.  Lame.
    - The staff is kind of snotty; I've seen them totally blow off people who are really overweight when they have questions about equipment, and it's annoying.  Like the people aren't fit enough to deserve their attention.
    - The steam room smells like mildew and management won't do anything about it.
    - The hot tub has gross greasy bubbles when the jets aren't on.  Also, has lots of gross greasy men in it who don't shower before they get in it.  Not 24's fault, but still gross.
    - Something was seriously off in the chemical balance in the pool one day (5 years of experience managing city pools told me), and I told the manager, who gave me some BS about how that's just how their pool is and there's nothing wrong and blah blah blah.... he was either misinformed about his own pool or just lying because he didn't know why it was off and didn't care to figure it out.  I almost deducted another star for that, but whatever, I just don't swim if the pool is cloudy or smells bad.  Kind of a bummer when I drive 20 minutes out of my way just for a swim though.

I can't believe this gym has such a low rating.  I think this is one of the better gym, it's new, clean, and spacious.  I like coming here on the wknds when I am not working out at the Carlsbad gym.

This gym is huge!! I work out at 24 at least 3 to 4 times a week. The staff is very friendly and are always willing to help. The gym and locker rooms are very clean. This 2 story gym includes a swimming pool, Steam Room, Sauna, fun work out classes, and  a daycare center  for kids while u are working out. They have  lots of equipment but I sometimes  find it hard to find a cardio machine on the weekdays. . The one negative I have with 24 is parking. It's very hard to find parking on weekdays, especially on a monday. The weekends are the best time to go. On the weekends, you're guaranteed to find a park and a cardio machine.
