Review from Ai Ling C.
Englewood, CO
Clean pool, nice locker room. For this swim-only member, that's pretty good.
Docked 1 star because there are only 4 lanes in the lap pool. I got in one, did some swimming, left for 2-3 minutes (because I don't believe in peeing in the pool), came back and someone else had taken my lane.
Also, the body wash dispensers in the shower stalls are not my cup of tea because they don't dispense evenly and I gave up trying to get soap out of them after a while. I just bring my own mesh bag full of toiletries, including body wash. I wish there had been a ledge to put things on in the shower stall, but oh well.
This place is five minutes from my house, so it all evens out. Besides, this is the first time they've dropped the price to $40/month. -

As I write this review, the steam room is closed for the second time in less than a month. Frustrating to say the least. I realize stuff like that is subject to frequent wear and tear because of high usage, but when it breaks it takes them weeks (sometimes MONTHS) to fix it. That is ridiculous.
Other than that, I have had mostly good experiences in this club. It is newer and way larger than other clubs around town, and the only one I know of with an indoor running track. Sometimes there will be some minor issues, such as people fighting over a machine or kids smoking pot in the bathrooms, but nothing that has affected me personally.
FIX THE STEAM ROOM THE RIGHT WAY THIS TIME SO IT DOESN'T BREAK DOWN AGAIN and I might edit and add the 4th & 5th stars. Until then, bite me. -

Sure its top of the line price wise but you get what you pay for here. 2 pools, wet and dry suanas. 2 basketball courts, 2 raquetball courts and tons of cardio and weights equipment. Oh and they have daycare which I imagine is great for parents.

anyone: please show me a better club for the money!
no club is perfection, if it were you'd be paying $100/mo. and considering how many people a day, things are maintained very well.
it couldn't be an easier place to 'get it goin on'.
sure they could use a designer that knows wall color, but who cares! -

By far the best 24Hr Fitness location in Colorado! I have been a member for over 10 years and have visited every location in the Denver, Centennial, Aurora , Parker and Highlands Ranch area. This one is by far my favorite.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always eager to help. The group class schedule provides an abundance of date and time options for each class, so no matter what my schedule looks like at work or home I can always catch the one I want. They hire knowledgeable instructors who mold each class to the level of the participants. For example, the same instructor will increase the intensity of a yoga class depending on the level of the participants and offer more challenging options. The facilities are always neat and clean with fresh towels available. I tend to run on the treadmill several times a week and I have not once been forced to wait for a machine, they have four rows of treadmills to choose from. Plus there is an indoor track, how awesome is that (I know, the strangest things excite me)!! The same goes for the weights and strength training machines. Plus the location is so large and sectioned off that you never get that smothered feeling, like in some smaller gyms. All in all the higher monthly cost, since it is a Super Sport, is well worth it for the amenities. One last point, the snack bar has very tasty and offers cheap smoothies! -

This is my gym of choice. I drive 15 minutes out of my way there and back on workout days. That only means something because I live a 2 minute drive from the one in the Tech Center(which I have been to once and will not return to).
I love how open and clean this one is. Plenty of equipment to be had. Sometimes it is hard to get in to the dumbbell area when its peak time(usually 5-7 pm). Overall I have not had a bad experience here and I will continue to return.
EDIT: Changed this to a 4 star after last night. It was not a good night at the gym. It was beyond packed. I couldn't get on a machine I needed the entire time I was there. People spending more than 10-15 minutes on a machine need to reevaluate their workout. -

This is my favorite 24 hour fitness in southeast Denver. It's brand new, gigantic and has a juice bar (with smoothies that are actually low in sugar!). The staff are very friendly and the personal trainers are professional and motivating.
I love this location because there are plenty of new, state-of-the-art machines and equipment. I've never had to wait for a treadmill, gauntlet, elliptical or rowing machine. There are several bosu balls, a variety of balance balls and kettlebells, plus accessories like jump ropes, resistance bands and tubes. The facility is spacious with many places to stretch or do freeweight exercises and is complete with a track running around the perimeter.
I go out of my way to visit this location when I'm visiting family in Colorado; I feel welcome here! -

I have been a member of this location for about 13 months and lot of things have changed.
1. entry: its all done with your phone # and index finger printing scan. check in is easy.
2. Brandon, the service dept supervisor is excellent. he always great you with your name and most of the employee will say "have a great day" when you exit..
3. shower and most areas are kept clean even though bunch of pigs uses them.. I'm one of the pig on someones eyes.
4. free towel is back to the thick kind. use to have blue stripped ones for a while but in the process of being changed out.
5. dry and wet sauna, whirlpool are kept clean ..
6. all of the machines are kept in good shape. few days ago, nice looking female employee with skirt was testing out the thread mill and few other machines. all of the guys welcomed it.
7. still need to fix the volume control and channel button on some of the machines with TV..
over all, its great place to work out, plenty of machines to choose from when its not the rush hour.. avoid evening hours because it will be packed every where.
9/11/2011 we got a new manager (came back from a year long break) and he is on top of everything. from spot cleaning the bathroom to picking up weights and returning them to proper place, he is doing excellent job. Brandon at the front desk is still doing great job too.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Can I just say... OMFG! This club has completely wow'ed me. Not just because of the many cardio machines with individual TVs on them, or because of the two huge swimming pools, or because of the two huge aerobic rooms, or the beautifully designed window views from the 2nd floor, the huge basketball courts, the 50 m track outside, or the gorgeous locker rooms. Really people, it's because of the wireless Internet access inside the club. Seriously, that's when you know you are working out at a state-of-the-art facility. For those of you current 24 hour fitness members, if you live in the area, upgrading is a no-brainer. Small $50 set up fee and $40/month fee for most people is a steal of a deal - it's peanuts. I pay twice that with my corporate discount at Club One in San Francisco - and they don't have wireless Access!
I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5 because hey, they just opened two weeks ago... so anything could happen. :)Listed in: Denver - SouthEast Siidee!

Where do I begin.
So, me and Joe joined this club about a week and a half ago. First we toured. In awe. Of this club.
Downstairs you have the spinning classes, the yoga, kickboxing...etc. Upstairs you have the treadmills, stair thingys, free weights, weight machine thingys, an indoor track, stationary bikes, and on and on. On almost all the treadmills, stair thingys and stationary bikes you have tv's. Then there's TV's on the walls that you can watch, and listen to if you're on one of the machines that don't have their own TV attached. Just plug in your headset, choose which TV you want to listen to, and you're good to go. I'm not the biggest TV watcher, but it sure makes take your mind off your workout. Makes it seem to go kinda quicker.
This is the best 24 hr fitness I've been to. It's clean, huge, and HUGE. No matter what time of day you go, there's always free equipment.
My only issue... Only 3 rowing machines?? Really? -

The best part about this Super Sport is the flexibility of payment. If you are already an all-club member, adding access to this Super Sport is easy and non-committal. You can either pay per visit or set-up a recurring EFT draft from your account for month-to-month access.
GREAT VALUE! -
Review from Ben S.

This 24-hour is brand spanking new (as of this writing, 12/8/08) and let me be the first to tell you how awesome it is!
I used (note *used*) to go to the 24-hour fitness over in DTC, on Belleview and DTC Parkway, and (read my review) had more than my share of misgivings about the shortcomings of that facility... well, I've found my solution.
This gym has everything I could ask for:
- Basketball courts (nice ones too!)
- Racquetball
- Towel service
- Nice showers, with soap, etc
- TONS of treadmills, ellipticals, most with their own TVs, some with HDTV, and even some with iPod connectors built it! have i died and gone to gym heaven?!
- a regular pool and a lap pool
- Group exercise and a sick spinning classroom
- Personal trainers
- a nice little cafe, looks like mostly smoothies
- tons of nice clean lockers
- not expensive! i was paying like $25 for the crappy 24-hour, I think this new one is $10/month extra.. the bargain of the century.
what I didn't like?
- all good. -
Review from Kym W.
Aliso Viejo, CA
I come here when I'm visiting family because it's large and never overcrowded. It's one of the biggest Super Sports I've been in. There are tons of cardio equipment, machines, etc. I've never had to deal with the staff other then checking in at the front, so I can't comment on their service. Overall it seems to be one of the better 24 clubs out there.

if you are looking for a club that sells memberships well, then this is it.
if you are looking for a club that has good customer services, is sensitive to member concerns, offers enough Body Pump classes for all who are interested, have responsive trainers who don't take 8 weeks to return your calls, has management staff in place even tho someone important broke his leg and will be out for "who knows how long", has voice mail to leave messages for said important people, then SKIP THIS CLUB.
once they have your money, they could care less.
one star, for cleanliness. -

The thing that sucks about this place is overpriced membership. Even if you have all club membership, you can not go to this club.
The membership starts at $49.99 and you pay like $250 for the luxury of becoming a member ( called initiation fee ).1 Previous Review: Show all »

This is a great location is always clean and the staff is very very friendly. I'm a member and love the fact that I can go at any time of the day. The kids area is clean, big and with lots of stuff to toys. The cardio machines are very new and lots of them have a tv on each on them. I recommend this club to everyone. I pay initiation fee , first and last month

Review from Daniel R.
Denver, CO
All right...so my review might be a little biased since I am a fitness enthusiast. After working out for such a long time at the 24 Hour gyms on Alameda and Colorado (oh so lovely with your peak hours) and the other one in Lowry (also gets pretty full) it was good to have a change. Walking into this place I immediately got the upgrade. With 90,000 square feet of gym, I don't have to wait a minute to use a machine. I have even done super sets without having someone ask me if they can jump in. The part I liked the most was the indoor track. The treadmill is pretty cool, but it's even better to run around in circles while all the people on treadmills jealoulsy watch you. The inside layout is also admirable. There's lots of space in between the weights, machines, and trainer sections. It's just so huge. I've been to the Ultra Sport in Irvine California, and not even that club compares to Colorado's Super Sport. The people are also very friendly. If you need a spot most people will immediately come over and give you a hand. The most difficult part about being a member of this club is actually going. If you live in Denver then going to the Super Sport will easily be a 25 minute to half an hour drive. If you live close by, then you know what's up. For me, it's worth the drive.
