They had Promax bars on sale! Really cool gym rats here!
I'm a regular at the other locations, but this one lives up to the service requirement. CLUB 509 representing.
The facility is OK and the equipment works. The air inside is musty and the only thing that the fans do is move the stank around the joint.
This place is not bad, but some of the members, well, let's just say their not really the classiest bunch. Call me old fashioned but, I think it's just common sense that you shouldn't dry your privates with the hand dryers, or clip your toe nails inside the locker room -- disregarding the fact that you should pick up the clippings that fell all over the floor.
Other than that -- convenient location, bad parking lot, nice employees.

Big mistake, I went here in street clothes yesterday. I had to change in the locker room. Bad move. The locker room is very small and packed with people. I finally found one spot in the locker room where the floor was not wet or sticky. Then I didn't have my lock with me, and had to go outside and put my clothes in my car! Seriously, the locker rooms bother me, after the workout I changed in my car!
The parking at this place sucks! I have no idea why they would set up so many businesses in one location and forget about the parking. What were they thinking?
I was hungry and decided to try to purchase one of their healthy snack bars. Boy did that piss off a lot of people. It took forever for the one guy behind the counter to scan it or reprogram the computer or whatever. By the time he rung it up and I paid for it there was a line of wannabe sardines lined up out the door waiting for us.
I gave it two stars because some of the classes they offer here are pretty good. Otherwise forget this place.

location location location. It's close to my house so it's easy to swing by. A big plus in my book. Also there is a pool. Yay! I haven't had a problem parking which seems to be a big complaint for this location but I also come there at odd hours and on the weekends I walk there so it's not a hassle for me. Of course now that I've said that it's going to suck parking there! HA. I was a little afraid walking in there a few times but soon got over it. Staff is nice. Classes are fun. Definitely happy to have this place close to me.

Angie for Pilates on Thursday
Lori for HipHop on Tues/Thurs
Pretty intense!
Too bad there's a lack of hot guys here, so there really isn't much motivation for me to work.
Well I guess it's better this way, I wouldn't want them to see me sweating like a elephant. Do elephants sweat?
Probably not, but you get the idea. :)
$20/month membership!

Parking is a nightmare here, therefore the gym is always crowded. Not fun.
I do like the fans that blow on you in the cardio room. Classes are large but still with a lot of people.
Friendly staff for sure!
Ah, finally some time away from work and was able to get away from the San Francisco, too. Now, I have a chance to Yelp again. Since I have all access membership privileges, I decided to find a gym near my sister's place. So, I picked this one and everything is so squished in. I agree with all the other reviewers on this place. The parking, cardio, locker room, weight room is not very spacious. The group exercise room is weird that it has a carpet. The only thing I liked about this place was the spa and sauna. The steam room didnt generate any steam, though.
Reasons for the ranking:
1) Ventilation is nil.
2) Smelly patrons.
3) Small, shared parking lot.
4) Pool = chlorine smell = lots of saggy naked people

This place is so so. I got a 90 day trial and there's always so much traffic after work hours that I'm afraid an oncoming car is going to hit me as I make a left into the parking lot. On the first floor, all the machines are positioned pretty closely together and I agree with Cynthia that ventilation is BAD!
There's a swimming pool in the back that I've never used. And I've never gone upstairs to the weight room either.
So apparently my 24 Hr card was suppose to come in the mail but never did so they had to scan my paperwork everytime I got in. Normally there's a barcode but mine didn't have one so in order for me to get in, they have to type in my account number. EVERY person didn't realize this and would look for the barcade, thus me spending at least 5 mins at the counter to get in. Sigh...
I come here mainly to use their indoor swimming pool. There aren't any other gym or swimming clubs around with an indoor swimming pool in Fremont. ClubSport has a pool, but it's an outdoor pool. I wanted to have access to an indoor pool that isn't filled with screaming kids. This 24 Hour Fitness club is very mediocre. The men's locker area is bad and rather cramped. It's always wet and dirty. They have open/communal showers instead of private closed areas. The toilet stalls are dirty and have paper strewn on the floors. The locker floors are wet and dirty. You do not feel like you're in a high end nice workout club that is clean. I would probably not come here at all if it weren't for the indoor swimming pool, as I do laps for health reasons. The swimming pool is a small 3-lane 25 meter unit. The pool has lane lines, which I like for lap swimming. The pool isn't the best, but it functions OK for what I need it for.
The club's sales people at this facility are mainly idiots who keep pushing different levels of membership at you without listening to anything you say.
24horror fitness.
I have a membership at Equinox on the Peninsula near work so-, I was looking for a gym near my home. I had been a member of 24hr fitness in Rancho Bernardo San Diego in 2003 - it was a great gym clean friendly not too crowded. This place is a dump! Filthy dirty I took a tour there last week I think the place looked and smelt like a health hazard. Bloody awful. Cant believe they would present that to a potential client.
the only reason i came here is for jeanine's camp 24 class.. (i don't think she's teaching, but we've since moved from fremont). the gym is tiny and old. the group exercise room is small and weird.. it has this cushiony carpeted floor that takes some getting used to. can you just imagine all of the sweat that's been absorbed by it... nasty!
