It's not often you can get a complete gym workout in a tiny room the size of someone's living room. It has about 20 stations with set machines that are just enough to give you a full body workout. The staff is really friendly as well.

It is missing one treadmill and a few heavier weights, but it's designed kind of for the older crowd looking for a total body workout (rather than heavy weights).

It's tiny, but works just fine for a simple workout place.

I'm giving this place a 5 star rating...it's a perfect balance of circuit training and total core workout.

For those who actually like to test themselves in a gym setting, this place really gets the heart rate up, the machines work out the entire body and if doing it right, you'll def feel "the burn" you get at a traditional gym.

The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, even the clinetele are friendly people.

If you want a quick, full core workout, I def recommend this place to everyone!

I just wanted to let people know that I called about a new membership and was told they'll be closing on May31st. Their lease is up and they aren't going to renew :(

Please note that pics 7 to 12 are a real representation of the place.  It's small but sooo perfect for lunch.  I leave there feeling great and energized for the day.  Perfect for all work frustrations. Denise is great and very knowledgeable.  She takes the time to teach you everything.  Andrew is another asset for the place.  A student learning physical therapy.

    Overall, I highly recommend :)

Love it, great place for a workout, especially in the evening hours when you are either there alone or just 2 or 3 other people there.  Complete total body workout, including cardio in less than an hour!  Everyone can carve out less than an hour a day for a workout, right?!?

I am not sure what people are complaining about consider you are paying peanut to use thousands of gyms nationwide.  You can't get a freaking Filet Mignon when you are paying for Ground Chunk ...

This was my first time at a Fit Lite 24, so I was surprised when I walked in. I just thought it'd be a really condensed version of the larger locations, but it's something different altogether. The whole place was probably the size of a cell phone store.

I went here expecting to do a traditional workout - lift some weights, pullups, dips, whatever. But this place is mostly filled with machines, some cardio, and a few free weights. After speaking to the trainer there, she explained that it's basically there for the 24 circuit workout - going through the 24 machines in a half hour. I was a little baffled at first, but I figured "When in Rome..." so I tried it and I actually built up a decent sweat. And even though it might not be what you expected, the trainers here will gladly refer you to a different location (e.g. San Carlos Active) if you want the regular bells and whistles. But if you just want a quick workout and you don't mind machines, this place will do the trick.

Well, like someone mentioned, it's an ok gym overall.

I found it to be a nice gym for injury rehab/physical therapy, especially because the equipment appear to be designed for such use. (reminds me of HOA/condo gyms).  It's also a good gym for the elderly and the attendant/manager is very mature friendly. (my auntie likes this gym)

For the most part, a lot of people who goes here follows the "circuit" training, which makes almost everything readily available. So if you're looking for a quick workout to warm you up for the day, or a quick after work gym, then come on in and join the "circuit".

First off, please note that the photos on this page are NOT of this club. It actually is much smaller and looks nothing like this. I guess that's what the small print also says but it's a little tricky if you ask me...

Anyway, apart from the tricky photography, I really enjoyed this club when I tried it for the first time tonight. Some Fit-Lite's (I've tried a lot) like the one on California in San Francisco only have bikes for cardio and not ellipticals. This one has three bikes and two ellipticals. For the number of people working out, this seems sufficient! Also, they have a great magazine selection perfect for use on said cardio. I love Self magazine!

The gym is clean also and the circuit of weight machines is laid out spaciously.

There's lots of parking in the lot which also includes a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Nob Hill Grocery Store, small restaurants, etc. I live walking-distance though so I enjoyed my short walk there and back!

I've been a 24 Hour Fitness member for years, but just started going to Fit Lite a couple weeks ago because my schedule keeps preventing me from getting to the regular gym.  I don't think the workout compares to the "real deal" weight lifting, etc. that be accomplished at the regular gym; however, you do get a decent full body workout for only 30 minutes.

I'm a novice at circuit training, and have not been working out for awhile, so the first time nearly killed me.  It gets a little better after a few tries.  The staff is very helpful and encouraging (much more so than the regular 24 Hour Fitness, where the staff is pretty much worthless).  This is a no-frills facility, but kept clean and comfortable.  There are restrooms, a changing room, and small lockers, but no shower.  There is ample parking and even when the place is crowded, you can get to every machine because everyone is moving through the circuit.

I have only one compliant, which is related to other members, not the staff or facility per se.  Why is it that the people who sweat the most are the same ones who never carry a workout towel? I should not have to wipe up a stranger's sweat!   Take care of your own flippin' mess!  Common courtesy anyone?

I definitely recommend Fit Lite for variety in your routine, or if time is a challenge.  It sure beats not getting any exercise for the day because of a busy schedule, and it's more effective than just taking a walk during lunch.  Here's to your good health!

Great for what it is. A 25 minute circuit workout.  No frills, no BS. Get in, get it done, get out and enjoy the rest of your day.  You'll probably get a second workout in at a free weight gym later that same day, just to be sure you did something. Ha ha. It's basically a light cardio place and is a good choice for a lunch break.

I've worked across from this place for almost a year now and just went for the 1st time yesterday. If I have gone the very 1st time they opened i would have been in great shape by now!

This place is pretty awesome! The trainers are very helpful and explain everything to you. It's very clean and can be done on your lunch break if your not confined to just 60 minutes like i am (i still need time to shower and eat). Oh yeah, and eat a few hours before you go, it's very intense! I thought it was gonna be a piece of cake, but hell no! It kicked my ass....Thanks Marcus for helping me out. I hope to one day write that this place helped me to lose XX amount of lbs and XX amount of inches!

I was tired of going to my same old gym, going on the trail to run, my yoga classes, my same workout routine so my husband introduced me to this place. It's great for busy people who want to get in a quick workout...even if you only have 30 minutes on your lunch hour!! You start off doing about 10 minutes of cardio on either the elliptical machine or bicycle. Then you do the circuit training...25 machines in all for only a minute each, it is all timed and a pleasant bell goes off, then you're off to the next machine. It is a light workout but if you really push yourself and get pumped up to the music as I do when I'm there (they play great current dance music in there!!) you will sweat and get in a great 30 minute workout. Sometimes if it's not too crowded, I will go for a second time on the circuit machines. It is a small place with only basic equipment but it's  a great change of pace from your regular workout at the gym. Also, it's located in a very nice shopping plaza...Nob Hill Foods is next door so you can grab something healthy to eat after your workout, or go to Starbucks and treat yourself to a latte.

I have been a member here since the end of January 2008 and I could not be happier with my choice.  I had been a member of an all female gym chain for over 4 years and while it nice to be surrounded by friends after a change in ownership I realized it was time to move on.  I found Fit Lite via friends at my previous gym.  Since joining Fit Lite I have lost 15lbs+ and at least 10inches.  The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and very supportive.  Also they will work with you - you just have to ask.  It does get a bit crowded Mon, Tue, Wed between 5pm-6pm but generally you can get your workout done with no problem.  This facility does not have the bells and whistles of the other nearby 24hr Fitness locations but there is 24hr access, machines in excellent condition and a staff that really cares.
