The remodel was much needed.  For all the noobs that joined post-remodel, consider yourself lucky.  The vets that have coming here know what the "old" gym was like...

worn out belts on the treadmills
    free weights from the 90s
basketball gym floor with no grip
locker room imported from communist Bulgaria

Now everything is new and/or improved.

    And the nightmare is over...

I am loving the Hot Hula Class at this place. Cheryl the instructor is so fun, she makes you forget its been an hour dancing at her class. Love her "kiss my A" moves. It's the best way to lose some few pounds I need to shed, while having a ton of  fun.

Kids Club is awesome too! The folks who works there are caring. My spoiled son is not used to a daycare/or playing with other kids. This place is great with kids, the employees are making them feel at ease, my son now knows the drill in the AM, and looks forward going to 24 hrs fitness. The glass entrance door is a plus too,  you can quickly peek to check up on your kids.

Great work out for mommy and baby :))

From the first time I stepped in this gym, I have been very impressed. The whole place looked brand new and well kept. There is an INDOOR basketball court. There are tons of elipticals and treadmills, and I've never had to wait for them. Lots of TVs (maybe 8), All the basic weight machines. I love the large area for stretching, which has large padding on the floor. There are electronic billboards to give you helful tips on nutrition and health. The manager said that this Corona branch is the only one to offer hula classes. I liked the fact that everything is on one floor. And I love how they have special lockers that you can use for FREE to lock your stuff if you forgot to bring your own lock.

Another thing that impressed me was the locker room lockers, which were like cherrywood laminate cabinets. Very nice. The only weird thing is the layout of the locker rooms and swim/sauna area. The toilets are in a separate room with doors, and the sinks were in a separate hallway. Weird... but I guess the doors keep the toilet smells from going to the rest of the locker room. When you enter the locker room from the pool area, it is also very easy to get confused. I've found myself looking at a bunch of men a time or two (thankfully all dressed).

Kids Club is in a super spacious room with high ceilings and an indoor climbing gym. I didn't see any electronic toys for infants, though. And they also check for IDs during both check-in AND checkout. A bit of a hassle, but it's nice having a place to leave your kids without having to find a babysitter. And the monthly fee of $20 for unlimited childcare (2 hours per visit) is dirt cheap.

This 24 Hour Fitness is definitely better than the one I used to go to in San Diego (Penasquitos). I love this gym and find that it doesn't get as packed as the one I used to go to, even in the late afternoons. Everything is in great condition, and the staff is super friendly.

I come to this place everyday. Nevermind all the high maintenance, pampered folks who write negative reviews. This place is great, staff is wonderful, lots of friendly social people if you like making new friends, lots of dumbbells and weights, big variety of machines to get a good workout in. This place does it for me.

This gym is still a good gym and for the location, it works well.  I was excited to see what it would be like after they redid it, but only to be let down.
The gym was old, the equipment was old as well, and they closed for about a month to redo things.  The equipment is still the same for weights, some new benches, and same old cardio.  They did, however add about 5 new bikes that kick ass, about 8 new ellipticals which also kick ass.
The new paint and TV are the biggest changes, which are welcome, but it would have been nice if they took all the old, out dated things out and put in new.

After renovations some people were disappointed about it. But for me i am not. I am just glad they are opened again as i only live like 5 minutes from this gym.

A few things i did notice about the gym is that they replaced the lights finally so its nice and bright in there again. They repainted the whole place, renovated the group x and basketball courts. Weights and machines are still the same.

They did let us go to the super sport in ontario so i am not complaining at all haha

I've been to a lot of 24 hour fitnesses in the Socal area and this is one of the worst Sports I've been to. It supposedly was remodeled and closed for awhile, but I still think it needs more work. I personally feel like this is one of the dirtier 24s I've been to. The shower area was pretty nasty, and their steam room did not seem very nice either. Treadmills were ok and the yoga class was meh. There aren't many Sports in the IE, but I'd rather make the drive to the Rancho one. MUCH nicer. And the yoga over there really challenges you.

I have been going to this gym since 2006, it's not my favorite 24-hour, but since it's the closest that is open 24 hours I'm stuck with it. The recent renovation is complete, but it wasn't as successful as it should have been. Since the renovation it feels like they no longer put on the air conditioner, they rely on the cheapo white fans they added for air circulation. Well it's not cutting it, because its always so hot in there. It is also way over crowded during peak hours (weekdays 4-7pm). The weekends have eased down and aren't as crowded in the mornings anymore. They have great cycle classes and an excellent yoga instructor, Julia. The other yoga instructors are a joke, and I would not recommend them.

I frequent this location on the weekends. It usually isn't too busy, but don't go when the daycare is open or if there is a class..it gets super packed! I couldn't even find a parking space once.

I like that the locker rooms are big and I can use my own lock, but they are located in the back corner. So, you have to walk all the way to the back with your street clothes on if you need to change. (awkward)

The equipment is usually clean and I noticed they put new covers on all the weight machines. Most of the time haven't had to wait for a machine, but the inner and outer thigh machine is always taken...some girls sit on it for 20 minutes!

Also, there's a few weirdos that hang out there..but it's Corona, so what do you expect? There's a co-ed shower that I dare never to enter. The bathrooms smell sometimes too.

I give the staff 5 stars. They are always helpful and nice :)

Out of the 24 Hour Fitness locations in Riverside/Chino Valley/Corona area, this is my favorite one to go to. I go here particularly for the group classes, cardio machines, and pool.

GROUP EXERCISES: I primarily go to the Zumba classes. The room is quite spacious and probably holds up to 90-100 people per class. The Zumba instructors are awesome and this location has one class offered everyday except Friday and Sunday.

CARDIO MACHINES: In the 7 years I've been a 24 Hour member, I've frequented plenty of locations up and down SoCal and the availability of cardio machines (total number; number of working ones) is always a frustration. This location is an exception. I don't think I've ever stepped onto a broken treadmill or elliptical machine. Sure, they are kinda old but they actually work.

SWIMMING POOL: This pool isn't freezing cold or murky like other locations. Thank God! I'm also thankful (as a novice swimmer) that there isn't a deep end. The depth runs as such: 3ft- 4ft.- 4.5ft- 4ft- 3ft. FYI: Don't swim laps after 4pm unless you like being hit on by weirdos.

Ugh...they recently remodeled this place, but you wouldn't know it from looking at it.  The equipment is adequate but not the latest/greatest.  The locker room was dirty and some of the sinks were backed up.  The clientele was more of a "Joe Six Pack" type than most gyms I've gone to.  But the main problem was the temperature.  It was INSANELY hot inside, despite the fact that it was 8 AM on a nice, cool morning.  I worked out there for 2 hours on a guest pass, and I had to go home early because I was very close to heat exhaustion.  I've never had to do that before, and I'm a regular gym user (5 days a week, 2 hrs of running/cycling/rowing per day).  I can't work out at a gym where they can't/won't get the inside temp below 80.

Pluses: They have a lot of cardio and weight machines, and I liked their LifeCycle recumbent bikes.  They have a pool, sauna, and basketball court too, but I didn't try it.

Minuses: Dangerously hot inside, indifferent staff, dirty locker room.

    Edit:
I went back today because I figured it's not fair to dismiss the gym after just one use.  Big mistake.  Even though the temp was in the mid 60s outside today (perfect), the temp inside was about 80!  I literally left a puddle of about 2 cups of sweat on the floor under the recumbent bike I was using!  Needless to say, nothing like that has ever happened at any gym I've ever used, summer, winter, autumn or spring.

I noticed that a lot of people who use this gym are posers.  IE, they go, walk on the treadmill at 2-3 mph for 10 mins, do the elliptical for 5 mins or so, gab with their friends, and leave.  So I guess the heat doesn't really affect them because they never work up a sweat.

If you're serious about getting a workout, avoid this sweatbox.

Whaaa? Why hasn't this place been review yet?!
Well I'm in the Riverside area and prefer to go to the Corona's 24 Hr Fitness oppose to the one on Limonite. The difference is that the Corona one is a sport and the Limonite is an active gym so the Corona offers more amenities such as a full sized basketball court, Indoor Lap Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Whirlpool. So the extra drive is worth it to me.
Also the employees seem more welcoming here. I appreciate how every time after I scan in, the employee working the front desk will say "Enjoy your work out Wendee".
The group exercise for  Zumba is always pack, so come early to get situated. The instructors are always energized and I think they rotate between gyms because I've seen an instructor at both gyms before. Parking can take awhile especially in the evenings, but if you park far you can use that walking time to warm up/ cool off =).

The place is pretty big. I went on a Sunday around 4pm.

    Pool
    Basketball
    Old Freeweights

Very spacious but the equipment is showing its age, specially the free weights. They have rust and look a bit red. Its right off the 91 which is very convenient.

The Front desk had some hot girls greeting you and they were friendly.

I use alot of different 24 Hour Fitness' and this one is by far my favorite. Yea, some of the equipment is kinda old but that's the case with every gym I've been too. Parking is really easy and the layout of the gym is by far my favorite compared to any other. I did like the layout more before the so called renovations which were lackluster but I've become use to it. I like having empty areas so I can stretch and do planks and whatnot. This gym has plenty of open areas especially when the group room isn't in use.

For those complaining, go to the San Bernardino or Fontana 24 Hour locker room...you will run away especially San Bern. The Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills ones are nice but I really prefer a one story layout. Isn't as much of a hassle going to from one thing to another.

Last thing, get your membership from http://costco.com. If you don't have a membership, go online and use your friends. That's what I did. Paying like 13 a month instead of like 35. I wouldn't be as happy if I was paying 3 times as much.

It isnt the best 24 hour fitness but it gets it done for me.  the equipment is out of date. the weights are those old ones not the new ones that most 24 hour fitnesses, by that i mean like its the metal dumbells and an weights instead of the black hard plastic ones like most/better 24 hour fitnesses...although it conveninently located right off the 91 freeway.  they have like 3-4 stairmaster and i do NOT like their treadmills, it sucks, cuz some of them are broken and dirty.   they don't have that many treadmills btw, like other 24 hour fitnesses.   the machines are sweaty and u can see some wear and tear.

Although the staff is friendly and the restroom is cleaner than most 24 hour fitnesses, i'll give them that...but their televisions are outdated and blurry; they need to update to some large lcds and get the nfl network for me; if they want me coming back!

It's really difficult for me to knock off much for a gym.  The "customer service", which is just the front desk, is pretty much standard for all 24 hour fitnesses.  Except for one gripe when this short dark haired girl told me to get my arms off of the front desk because she doesn't like getting sweat on them.  Really?  It's a gym.  Get over yourself.

They have a wide array of equipment, and I never really saw anything broken consistently.  They have a huge basketball gym, which has 2 side baskets, letting 2 full court games go on, which is a great thing.

I wish they had TV's in the weight room area, because I love getting my ESPN on while I work out.  I guess that gets me in and out of the place quicker anyways, so it's all good.

This 24 Hour Fitness is large, but I feel it doesn't "flow" as easily as other gyms. By "flow" I mean it's not easy to get to one side of the gym to the other. I'd have to walk around a row of cardio machines before I get to another one and if I want to head over to the weights I'd have to walk over a few machines just to do it.

Not that walking is a bad thing in a gym, I personally just like to workout by going from one place to another without long rows.

And, if I need to go to the restroom and I turn a corner while wiping my face with the towel, it doesn't help that I walk into a huge weight machine before I get to the bathroom.

The bathrooms are clean. There are showers with closing doors for your own privacy, that's always nice, and the locker room space is amazing compared to other locker rooms I've been to.

There's not much room for stretching. There are rooms for those yoga classes you signed up for.

I just find the arrangement of this particular location distracting.

But if you are fond of cardio machines, there are a massive amount and a good variety at that.

I have been a 24 hour fitness member for more than 5 years and have been to dozens and dozens of their gyms, this one leaves a lot to be desired. I have been going to this particular 24 hour for about 4 years and in that time I can count on two hands the number times that the pool and steam room have actually been open and operational when I have showed up to use them, which for a while I was trying to do 2-3 times a week, but had to stop because they can't keep them functioning.

Most recently this gym closed down for about a month for renovations. You would think this would be enough time to get the pool back in working order, but no. Instead the pool is still not working and now they have to re-drain it. Also, the steam room is closed yet again, third or fourth time in the two weeks since the gym reopened. .....Maybe it's time to find a new maintenance manager who can actually fix things..... Especially since an LA Fitness with a pool that works went in just up the 91fwy in Riverside.

I really like the fact that the gym is open 24 hours, has a pool and basketball court.   But I have to agree with others and saying that the gym is way overcrowded for the area.

It is a great gym but good luck going after work or until 10pm for that matter.  The best time to go is early AM or Late PM.

Would like to see a new 24 hour fitness opened in the Corona area.

I walked in and tried to sign up for a membership. They had me fill out a card, and...

    (Waiting...waiting...waiting...)

Finally, "Hi, what can I do for you?" Ugh...we're off to a bad start.

"Um, I'd like to start a membership?" (Duh.)

After getting through some of the membership basics, "Can I have your name?"

"Uh yeah...it's on the card you're holding in your hand."

"I'm having trouble reading it." That's funny, because once you actually tried, you easily figured out everything else on it. Apparently my handwriting's not *that* bad.

Finally get through the sign-up process, and it's about $75, and..."Sorry, we don't take cash."

Really? (Coming to the realization that this has been pretty much an unpleasant waste of time for both of us.)

"Let me check with my manager." (Nope)

"Can't you just put $25 on your card?" (Uh, no. It's an ATM card, there's 12 cents on it, and I get paid tomorrow.)

I finally surrendered, and told him I'll sign up online.

I hope the actual gym experience isn't nearly as bad.

I've been coming to this location since I was 17 years old. It's a great place because it's spacious. The resistance machines are good and clean. The place and equipment doesn't look old. Everything is kept tidy and new looking. The only reason I wouldn't give it  a full 5 stars is because the treadmills are a little outdated. Half of them are way too big and old and the other half are way too old and small. Also, I think the calorie counter on the treadmills might be a little off. I don't think I can burn 1000 calories in one hour! I mean it's a hard workout but not that hard!..lol
